Mumbai Police Charge Saudi National with Funding Mumbai Attacks

March 3, 2008 (LPAC)--The Mumbai Police have claimed that the November 26 Mumbai terror attacks were financed by a Saudi national identified as Mahmoud Mohammed Bahaziq. An India-born Saudi citizen, Bahaziq raised money in Saudi Arabia for the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the terrorist group identified as the attackers in Mumbai. Bahaziq's front organizations for the banned Al Rashid and Al Akhtar trusts, which raised funds for LeT, are also included in the UN Security Council's terror list. "Aid Organisation of the Ulema, Pakistan;" "Al Amin Welfare Trust;" and "Al-Madina Trust" are among the front organization Bahaziq created.

The U.S. Department of Treasury (USDT) in a report on May 27, 2008, said that Mahmoud Mohammad Ahmed Bahaziq is an LeT financier and was credited with being the main financier behind the establishment of the LeT and its activities in the 1980s and 1990s. He has also served as the leader of LeT in Saudi Arabia.

In 2003, Bahaziq coordinated LeT's fundraising activities with Saudi non-governmental organizations and Saudi businessmen, and encouraged LeT operatives to continue and accelerate fundraising and organizing activities.

In addition, Mahmoud Mohammad Ahmed Bahaziq was in touch with drug-and-gun-running terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. Bahaziq, also known as Abu Abd al-Aziz, approached Dawood in the late '90s to fund the LeT. Sources in the Indian Intelligence Bureau said Dawood acceded to Bahaziq's demands and also promised him foot soldiers for the LeT in India. Bahaziq was a popular visitor to the Jamaat-ud-Dawah's (JuD's) center in Pakistan. The parent body of the LeT, JuD has been identified by the United Nations as a terrorist group.

Exposure of Saudi Sponsorship of Terror Triggered Dhaka Massacre

Mar. 3, 2008 (LPAC)--Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed, whose life remains in danger, has called off her upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia, which had been scheduled to start on March 7. This would have been her first foreign trip since she assumed office in late December.

On Feb. 7, the Bangladeshi Prime Minister's office had announced she would be visiting Saudi Arabia. The purpose of her visit, as explained by Commerce Minister Faruk Khan, was to urge the Saudis to stop funding of terrorists. "She is expected to request the Saudi government to take special measures so that no militant outfit in Bangladesh gets funds from any Saudi organization or individual," Faruk Khan told the Bangladeshi news daily, The Daily Star.

During the trip, "she is also likely to explain the issue of trying war criminals," a senior minister told the newspaper, speaking on condition of anonymity. This refers to the top leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh's largest Islamist party, with strong connections to Saudi authorities, who are accused of leading gangs that killed hundreds of unarmed civilians during the 1971 freedom movement. Later, Sheikh Hasina's father and the acknowledged founder and first President of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, was assassinated with almost his entire family in 1974.

Uh, WTF?  Where is the MSM on this bombshell?

US asks India to reinforce laws against terrorist financing
(Xinhua)

NEW DELHI -- The United States has asked India to reinforce laws for fighting terrorist financing through better controlling underground money remittances system in the country, according to local media reports on Sunday.

The United States government said in a recent report that the " Hawala" money remittances system in India is "directly linked to terrorist financing", according to the reports.

"Given the number of terrorist attacks in India and the fact that in India, Hawala is directly linked to terrorist financing", the Indo-Asian News Service quoted the US State Department report as saying. "(New Delhi) should prioritize cooperation with international initiatives that provide increased transparency in alternative remittance systems."

The local newspaper Pioneer quoted the report, entitled "2009 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report" and released Friday by the US government in Washington, as saying the Mumbai attacks last November "intensified concern about terrorist financing in India".

The report said there exists "a large underground economy" in India which widely uses the Hawala system, according to the Pioneer.

Originally a financial concept in the ancient Islamic law, Hawala developed into a fully-fledged money market instrument in South Asia by replacing formal banking system in the first half of the 20th century.

Hawala is presently used widely for migrant workers' remittances to South Asian countries.

In a separate report, local newspaper The Asian Age said on Sunday that Mumbai police has launched a probe to find out whether the funds used to sponsor the November attacks were channeled from a West Asian country.

The report quoted police officers as saying investigations have shown that an Indian-born Saudi, named Mahmoud Mohammed Bahaziq, is suspected to have financed the militant Lashkar-e-Taiba organization in staging the Mumbai attacks.

Time to invade Saudi Arabia, bomb their cities with Depleted Uranium and steal their oil I guess. India should look at it's own military and police when it comes to this attack but you won't see that happen since it's much more fun to just blame Pakistan and destroy their country. Muslim fundamentalists don't drink alcohol before they kill themselves.

Ptech is owned by Saudi Arabia and ran all of the war games on 9/11 for the FAA.

They control Risk Analysis systems for most of our government.  Anti_illuminati has exposed much of this:
