Does anyone here think that NASA is a massive disinfo tool?
« on: September 27, 2007, 02:50:20 pm »
I'm not disagreeing that we landed on the Moon, or sent spacecraft like Voyager out there, but... looking at the science and science fiction from the 19th century up till, say, the 1940s/50s, I just get the impression that we were supposed to do something great, have colonies at least on Mars by now, and be working on craft that could go faster than light (or something like that) by now.

I blame NASA, because I have received the impression that people have put their trust more in the government than in themselves to develop space travel (put not your trust in the princes of this earth, etc.) - and the government/NWO/Globalists have fed on this and encouraged this to keep us on this world, to ensure that we are under their control.

I dunno, it's just a thought, I'm wondering what everyone here thinks of this.

yes on many levels.  the true space program is somewhere in the black budget.  to believe that we are limited to the technology that they pass off as modern is naive at best.  think of it this way:  jfk announced his lunar ambitions in 1961.  8 years later we put a man on the moon.  in almost 40 years since, we are supposed to believe that we cannot put together a manned mission to mars?  personally i believe that we hold the technology to visit vast corners of our solar system and beyond.  why this is not public?  that i do not know.  i suppose you could come up with a variety of reasons that would be impossible to substantiate.

In 1967 - what your 2007 wrist watch accomplished required an acre of computing power.   In the early-mid 60's they said : "Hey - lets go to the moon!".  And "POOF" : we went to the moon.  In fact - we wore it out - lol.

Then in - what 1975 ... "Lets not go to the moon anymore"!

Hmm - is that the character of government?    Odd - don't ya think?

It's been 30 friggen years!

NASA has dodged the question "why not return" for YEARS - Now they say  - with all this bitchin technology  : "It will take us 18 years to do it!".

I'll let you figure out the rest.

We didn't land on the moon. The NASA budget is just for shits and giggles (and black projects). I am willing to say that a huge portion of the NASA budget goes towards warmaking and weaponry, not moon colonization or whatever.

To me Going to the moon in the sixties is as laughable as Bin Laden masterminding the attack on 911.

I've always found it strange that we can travel to the moon, send rovers to Mars and the like, yet we can't solve basic social issues, feed our people, develop a sustainable society or form a government that truly represents and answers to the people- almost contradictory. However, to touch on the question posed by the OP, I don't believe the public has any access to or can even comprehend of the true space program that's in effect. Through black projects, I believe some clandestine arm of the 'secret' gov't has developed craft that the average person would confuse for a U.F.O. NASA is a convenient cover for the true space program.

... the SciFact crowd must announce NEW FINDINGS
regularly or lose their cash cow ... the US tax-tit ...
and all those PhD's would be without a job. So,
every-so-often, like clockwork: "new Earth-like Planet
only 800 light years away!" - "liquid water in Mars
atmosphere!" - "Mars or bust in 20 YEARS!" -
"but be CAREFUL ... the ET's may STILL attack!".

Wasn’t NASA tasked with creating an “outreach” program to some particular religion, while federal employees are supposedly prohibited by ethics rules from expressing a religious preference while identifying themselves as a federal employee or using government time or funds?

Jackson, I have a similar opinion about NASA, but I not written.
Why ? Corrupt scientific institutions in the United States ? It is impossible. It is possible in Serbia.

Here are the conspiracy theories: In addition to what you wrote Jackson, NASA used to steal the US taxpayers and with the "discoveries" draws the attention of the world public to the world's problems and crises.
