Who benifits from the Bailout?
« on: September 23, 2008, 11:31:10 am »
Who is going to benefit from this $700 billion bailout?

The uber-rich.  That is who.  No one should be so fooled, as to believe that this package is going to solve anything.

This is the argument that we can be using now, to prove how corrupt everything is in politics.

This is how I see it working.

You have the people who get a mortgage from a bank (local).

The local bank needs to borrow the money from a larger bank in order to give you the money to pay for the house.

The larger bank will borrow from a larger bank.  And so on.

SO....

When the people cannot pay their mortgage,

the local bank gets no money coming in to pay the larger bank back.

the larger bank gets no money coming in to pay the larger bank.

And so on.

the government wants to infuse money into the banking industry so that the banks can pay off their loans

and the money will trickle up.

The problem is that the people still cannot pay their mortgages and in a few months, we are right back where we were.

Thoughts?

Remember when the Clinton....'administration'...bailed out the Mexican Banking elite back in '94?

$50 billion U.S. extorted fiat dollars was shipped down there to 'rescue' the Peso. It was gobbled up by the Mexican Banking Elite in 48 hours.

Mexico then further raped the Mexican citizenry to pay it back.

Unfortunatly, in 94, I had just graduated High school, entered into the navy and had little to do with world events.

Not until 2004 did I have my eyes opened.
