Military Report: Secretly 'Recruit or Hire Bloggers'

A study, written for U.S. Special Operations Command, suggested "clandestinely recruiting or hiring prominent bloggers."

Since the start of the Iraq war, there's been a raucous debate in military circles over how to handle blogs --- and the servicemembers who want to keep them. One faction sees blogs as security risks, and a collective waste of troops' time. The other (which includes top officers, like Gen. David Petraeus and Lt. Gen. William Caldwell) considers blogs to be a valuable source of information, and a way for ordinary
troops to shape opinions, both at home and abroad.

This 2006 report for the Joint Special Operations University, "Blogs and Military Information Strategy," offers a third approach --- co-opting bloggers, or even putting them on the payroll. "Hiring a block of bloggers to verbally attack a specific person or promote a specific message may be worth considering," write the report's co-authors, James Kinniburgh and Dororthy Denning.

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

Adolf Hitler saw honest news as a threat to his regime. So has any other fascist, or dicatator.
What is the confusion here, eliminate honesty and inject lies and control.
Its ancient history.

  • Peace sells, but who's buying?

Wow, check out the symbolic images on this patch, especially the SS lightning bolts. Wonderful.
This country did not achieve greatness with the mindset of "safety first" but rather "live free or die".

The military is the hammer for the regime.
They are under the control of our ilustrious government.
Each and every soldier has taken an oath to uphold our constitution, in defense of enemies either foreign or domestic.
I do not place blame on the peons, the enlisted men. As they know they are but numbers and peices of meat with a gun, lucky to survive, and terrified of coming forward. Though a percentage have, I commend them.
I do however place blame on those of the rank of full colonel and above. They have betrayed this country, their oath, and our citizens. They have commited genocide knowingly. Being in the circle of power, they know the truth absolute. They have no excuse for their moral cowardice. They disqust me.

  • He who laughs last, laughs best.
If they're reporting about this now, it means they commenced this two years ago.
