The real problem is here:

NGA, NRO, NSA Joining DoD In Silicon Valley
https://breakingdefense.com/2016/05/intel-community-joining-dod-in-silicon-valley/

It's become a revolving door for former government employees.

NSA wants to hire people that plan to leave for Silicon Valley
https://www.fedscoop.com/nsa-michael-rogers-cybersecurity-workforce-2016/

Departing NSA veterans catch the eye of Silicon Valley investors
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/capitalbusiness/departing-nsa-veterans-catch-the-eye-of-silicon-valley-investors/2017/11/12/ad5e8720-c61f-11e7-84bc-5e285c7f4512_story.html

There is a secret public-private partnership between government and MSM/major social media platforms.

And some members of Congress are already on it. I believe Bruce Ohr is due to testify on the 28th.

Re: 2018 MID-TERM ELECTIONS - Solution To Internet Censorship
« Reply #41 on: August 25, 2018, 06:36:49 am »
Apparently Silly Con Valley enjoys certain legal PRIVILEGES that other media doesn't. Eliminate the privilege and it levels the field for free market. Note that Sen Warner has fingers in several pies ATM. None of them good.

Challenging the Lords of the Internet

A free market would defeat the would-be censors
by Justin Raimondo Posted on August 09, 2018

The theme of today?s column is suppression ? of antiwar voices, of news that doesn?t fit into preconceived narratives, and of our very ability to raise our voices in protest.

If you?re paying attention, you?ve probably already heard about the banning from Twitter of anti-interventionist author and former US diplomat Peter van Buren, a whistleblower whose book on the Iraq war exposed the lies at the heart of that devilish enterprise. When van Buren tweeted that his tenure at the State Department required him to lie to reporters, and that the paladins of the Fourth Estate were all too ready to passively record these lies as truth, the Twitter brouhaha took on seismic proportions. Several journalists were involved, attacking van Buren for showing them up, and one ? Jonathan M. Katz, supposedly a New York Times writer ? reported van Buren to the Twitter Authorities for allegedly threatening ?violence.? Van Buren did no such thing: it was a mere pretext to get him banned. And ban him they did ? for life. His account was scrubbed: years of informative tweets were erased.

There were two other casualties in this little Twitter war: our very own Scott Horton, who joined the fray and was suspended for using the ?b-word,? and Daniel MacAdams, the director of the Ron Paul Institute, whose ?crime? was retweeting Scott?s contribution to the discussion.

This occurred in tandem with the purge of Alex Jones from Facebook, YouTube, and Apple platforms ? an obviously coordinated effort undertaken to make an example of the infamous performance artist masquerading as a conspiracy theorist.

All this wasn?t good enough for Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut), who demanded to know if the plan was to only take down ?one web site.? No doubt he has a whole list of sites he?d like to take down. Even more ominously, it was revealed that a direct threat had been made to these companies by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Virginia), who sent out a memo listing all the ways the government could crack down on Big Data if they refuse to go along with cleansing the internet of ?divisive? material.

So much for the ?libertarian? argument that these companies and the platforms they run are ?private,? and not connected in any way to the governmental Leviathan. This is the kneejerk response of outlets like Reason magazine, but it?s simply not a valid position to take. The Communications Decency Act immunizes these companies against any torts that may arise from activities conducted on their platforms: they can?t be sued or prosecuted for defamation, libel, or indeed for any criminal activity that is generated by these Internet domains. That?s because they claim to be mere ?carriers,? like the old phone company, and therefore they can?t be held responsible for conversations, postings, or other online materials that involve illegal or otherwise dubious actors.

On the other hand, content-providers like Fox News, CNN, and Antiwar.com are not so privileged: this site, for example, can be sued or held legally responsible by the authorities for any illegal activities supposedly generated on or by Antiwar.com.

This two-tiered system is responsible for the cartel-like conditions enjoyed by Facebook, Google, Twitter, and the rest of the Silicon Valley crowd. The vast wealth poured into this new technology by investors buoyed by historically low interest rates, plus the special government-granted advantages granted to them by their friends in Washington, has resulted in the enrichment of Big Data beyond the dreams of Croesus.

In short, Silicon Valley is a creature of the State.

In recognition of the government-granted privileges handed out to the Zuckerbergs of this world, the lords of the Internet have agreed to become the regime?s enforcers. That?s why poor Alex Jones is out in the cold, and others will soon follow.

So what?s the solution? Should we turn the Internet over to the government to be run as a public utility? That would only make the problem much worse: censorship by the government would then be direct, rather than masked as it is now.

The answer to this seeming conundrum is simply to abolish the special privileges enjoyed by the Silicon Valley crowd: make them legally liable for the consequences of their actions, just like everyone else. Abolish the Communications ?Decency? Act and start all over with a free market bill: no special privileges for anyone, and a level playing field at last.

This would eliminate Big Data?s deal with the devil, and put them on the same level as their would-be competitors. The developing Big Data cartel would be smashed, and new companies would arise to challenge the hegemony of the Zuckerbergs.

Stop suppressing the competition, get the government out of it ? and let the market decide.

Excellent response. However, as I referred to earlier, we have less than three months to make a substantive change. I think we need a combination of methods to get a real result in a timely fashion. Use every available legal tool. Don't waste your time trying to do everything in an idealistic way.

What really would put us over the top, besides a political approach, is for Americans, and the leadership of America to repent.

God can get us through this, if he is on our side.

I don't foresee the censorship problem seriously affecting the midterms. Trump's base is still there showing up at rallies. This is the only President I've seen do this in my lifetime. Brilliant strategy.

And the walkaway movement has increased partially due to the blatant censorship thanks to the Streisand effect.

The Dems have had YEARS to come up with a platform to offer the American people. And all we get offered is more worn out, failed communism/socialism....and emotional anti-Trump sentiment not based on reason or logic.

The only thing I would BOLO for is election fraud.

If we are to be a country of/by/for the people through the consent of the governed, then repentance would be more effective from the bottom of the visible hierarchy. And I do believe that people are realizing that a life of debauchery and hedonism only leads to destruction.

Nothing is impossible.

Exclusive ? Mo Brooks: Likely 15M Illegal Aliens in U.S., Giving Blue States 20 Additional Congressional Seats
9 Sep 2018

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) says the counting of illegal aliens when dividing up congressional seats and electoral college votes is a violation of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Brooks, along with the state of Alabama, are suing the federal government for their counting of illegal aliens, rather than citizens, in congressional apportionment and the dividing up of electoral college votes.

In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot Channel?s Breitbart News Saturday, Brooks revealed that should the Congress continue dividing up congressional seats and electoral college votes based on all persons in each district?including illegal aliens?rather than the number of American citizens, that the state of Alabama is set to lose a congressional seat.
...
Brooks said:

We?re probably in the neighborhood of about 15 million illegal aliens in America now. 15 million comes out to roughly 20 congressional seats and 20 electoral college votes. Each congressional seat has roughly 700,000 to 800,000 people in it. [Emphasis added]

So, if you count illegal aliens in the Census for the purposes of distributing political power, that?s the number of congressmen per state or ? the number of electoral college votes per state, you?re talking about ? 20 electoral college votes and congressmen that are taken from states that follow our laws, that help our border patrol agents, and help our ICE agents ? shifting those 20 congressional seats and 20 electoral college seats to states like California that have large numbers of illegal aliens in them. [Emphasis added]

I personally believe that?s wrong, on a policy level, but I also believe it violates the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution because it dilutes the voting power of citizens who live in states that don?t harbor an enormous number of illegal aliens. [Emphasis added]

The main problem is that now AJ is the main funnel now ... many many blogs and  tea party independents have been silenced off the internet ,,, there alot fewer platforms out there . SO AJ becomes the last straw
There are also lots of sites out there to break the populist base .  G Beck and the Blaze were one highly financed  boondoggle ... How many people got sucked into that ?
They purposely prevented Tea Party people from getting involved as 501c3 for the elections, What else are they willing to do ? ( I'd say ANYTHING )
Just please , Do not be naive   There are alot of groups conspiring to control and DO control the United States  and they want to keep it that way.

CASTRO VALLEY ? A man is behind bars after his arrest in connection with an attempted assault incident on a political candidate, authorities said.

Farzad Fazeli, was arrested Sunday after officials say he tried to attack a political candidate. (Courtesy of Alameda County Sheriff's Department)

About 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Alameda County sheriff?s deputies were working the Castro Valley Fall Festival in the 2500 block of Castro Valley Boulevard when they learned of a possible knife attack at a nearby vendor booth, the sheriff?s department said Tuesday.

Deputies spoke with Rudy Peters, a candidate for a local congressional seat, and with witnesses who said another man had approached Peters aggressively, making remarks about his party and other politicians.

Deputies suspect the man pulled a switchblade knife and tried to stab Peters. When the knife apparently malfunctioned, the candidate got into a physical struggle with the man, who fled but was detained soon after.

Deputies searched the man, identified as Farzad Fazeli, 35, and found a knife on him. Fazeli was initially arrested on suspicion of felony assault, criminal threats, brandishing a weapon and possession of a switchblade knife.

Fazeli was booked Sunday into Santa Rita Jail, with no listed bail amount or upcoming arraignment hearing, according to county records.

How Google Could Rig the 2016 Election

Google has the ability to drive millions of votes to a candidate with no one the wiser.
By ROBERT EPSTEIN
August 19, 2015

America?s next president could be eased into office not just by TV ads or speeches, but by Google?s secret decisions, and no one?except for me and perhaps a few other obscure researchers?would know how this was accomplished.

Research I have been directing in recent years suggests that Google, Inc., has amassed far more power to control elections?indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs?than any company in history has ever had.

Google?s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more?up to 80 percent in some demographic groups?with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated, according to experiments I conducted recently with Ronald E. Robertson .

Given that many elections are won by small margins, this gives Google the power, right now, to flip upwards of 25 percent of the national elections worldwide. In the United States, half of our presidential elections have been won by margins under 7.6 percent, and the 2012 election was won by a margin of only 3.9 percent?well within Google?s control.

There are at least three very real scenarios whereby Google?perhaps even without its leaders? knowledge?could shape or even decide the election next year. Whether or not Google executives see it this way, the employees who constantly adjust the search giant?s algorithms are manipulating people every minute of every day. The adjustments they make increasingly influence our thinking?including, it turns out, our voting preferences.

What we call in our research the Search Engine Manipulation Effect (SEME) turns out to be one of the largest behavioral effects ever discovered.
