The Heiresses and the Cult

To family friends, Seagram heiresses Sara and Clare Bronfman are victims of a frightening, secretive “cult” called nxivm, which has swallowed as much as $150 million of their fortune.

But the organization’s leader, Keith Raniere, seems also to have tapped into a complex emotional rift between the sisters and their father, billionaire philanthropist Edgar Bronfman Sr. The author investigates the accusations that are now flying—blackmail, perjury, forgery—in a many-sided legal war.

By    Suzanna Andrews
October 13, 2010 12:00 am

This spring, Clare Bronfman, the 31-year-old heiress to the multi-billion-dollar Seagram liquor fortune, would describe to a New York court the extortion letter that was sent to her on April 24, 2009.

Intended for her 33-year-old sister, Sara, as well, it was signed by several women, including the sisters’ financial planner, a masseuse, and a hairstylist, and demanded that “they be paid $2.1 million by midnight,” Clare said in a sworn declaration, “or else they would go to the press with information they deemed harmful to my sister and I.”

What that information was, the letter didn’t say, but Clare viewed the threat as alarming. The daughters of the billionaire philanthropist and former Seagram chairman, Edgar Bronfman Sr., and the half-sisters of Edgar junior, the chairman of Warner Music Group, Sara and Clare were not simply heiresses to a global empire built by their grandfather Samuel Bronfman. As they would describe themselves, they were also important, wealthy entrepreneurs and philanthropists in their own right—women who bankrolled a web of investments and humanitarian foundations based in the Albany region, where they lived. Indeed, as Clare would tell a court this spring, the extortion demand arrived when she and Sara “were two weeks away from hosting the Dalai Lama in Albany for an event on humanitarian issues.”

...

Many knew that Edgar Bronfman’s daughters were involved in a secretive organization called nxivm (pronounced “nexium”), a group that he himself had openly referred to as “a cult.”

But only a few were aware of what the court documents would reveal—the massive gutting by the Bronfman daughters of their family trust funds to help finance nxivm and the alleged investment schemes of its leader, a 50-year-old man by the name of Keith Raniere.

The amount—reportedly $100 million—was staggering and made for eye-popping headlines. But according to legal filings and public documents, in the last six years as much as $150 million was taken out of the Bronfmans’ trusts and bank accounts, including $66 million allegedly used to cover Raniere’s failed bets in the commodities market, $30 million to buy real estate in Los Angeles and around Albany, $11 million for a 22-seat, two-engine Canadair CL-600 jet, and millions more to support a barrage of lawsuits across the country against nxivm’s enemies. Much of it was spent, according to court filings, as Sara and Clare Bronfman allegedly worked to conceal the extent of their spending from their 81-year-old father and the Bronfman-family trustees.

Feds Catch Fugitive Sex Slave Cult Leader Backed By Bronfman Heiresses

March 27, 2018 By Haley Cohen

A cult leader backed by heiresses of a prominent Jewish philanthropic family was arrested by authorities near a Mexican resort on Monday, The Washington Post reported.

Kieth Raniere, who goes by the name “Vanguard,” had claimed to be poor but had been living with multiple women in a villa that cost up to $10,000 a week. Sara and Clare Bronfman, daughters of the late philanthropist Edgar Bronfman, have given millions of their family’s fortune to help fund Raniere’s organization, The New York Times reported last year.

Since 2003, Raniere has been the head of the self-help organization NXIVM (pronounced Nex-e-um). His promise to participants was to introduce “a new ethical understanding” and “self-determination”. Authorities said that he took advantage of his position of power by locking women into having a master-slave relationship with him and coercing the women into sex out of fear.

Members of the group described it as a human bondage pyramid scheme in which each swore loyalty to their “master.” Women provided Raniere with embarrassing information or photos that would be released if they ever tried to leave the group.

“Raniere has maintained a rotating group of fifteen to twenty women with whom he maintains sexual relationships,” the criminal complaint stated. “These women are not permitted to have sexual relationships with anyone but Raniere or to discuss with others their relationship with Raniere. Some of the Nxivm curriculum included teachings about the need for men to have multiple sexual partners and the need for women to be monogamous.”

Authorities also accused Raniere of forcing women to undergo a branding ritual where his initials were allegedly burned into their pubic region with a cauterizing pen.

A note from Clare Bronfman

December 14th, 2017

The past few months have been deeply painful for me, as I have seen my friends, associates, and the organization I care for come under fire. Some have asked me why I remain a member and why I still support NXIVM and Keith Raniere. The answer is simple: I’ve seen so much good come from both our programs and from Keith himself. It would be a tragedy to lose the innovative and transformational ideas and tools that continue to improve the lives of so many.  Read More…

Sara Bronfman’s Lover, Lama Tenzin, suspended by Dalai Lama over corruption claims
October 31, 2017 by Frank Parlato

Lama Tenzin with Raniere-disciple Allison Mack, at Necker Island.

Readers of Frank Report might recall that Sara Bronfman introduced the ‘Venerable’ Lama Tenzin Dhonden, the self described ‘Personal Emissary for Peace for the Dalai Lama’, to Keith Raniere around 2008.

The three worked together to bring the Dalai Lama to Albany in 2009 and reportedly Sara Bronfman and the Lama Tenzin, a monk, became lovers for a time.

According to the Guardian,  on October 5, 2017, The Venerable Lama Tenzin, 53, was suspended as Secretary and Trustee of the Dalai Lama Trust.  The suspension pends an investigation into allegations that Lama Tenzin extorted payments from A Washington State businessman in 2008.

Daniel Kranzler claims he was forced to pay Lama Tenzin as much as $250,000, some of it in cash, to prevent the Lama Tenzin from working to cancel the Dalai Lama’s appearance at the Seeds of Compassion event in San Diego.

Lama Tenzin denies the allegations. He maintains he received $50,000 in legitimate salary, plus expenses for his work.  He retained Patterson Belknap, a New York City law firm, to defend against possible civil or criminal charges.

Attorneys for the firm said the event “occurred nearly a decade ago,” the accusations are “largely inaccurate and otherwise relate to conduct that is not unlawful, unethical, or even inappropriate” and were “designed to falsely and unfairly tarnish” Lama Tenzin’s reputation.
...
he case does raise two questions:

– Why did Kranzler wait nine years to come forward to claim he was extorted into making payments to Lama Tenzin?

– Why did the Dalai Lama suspend Lama Tenzin if the charges against him are so weak?

A Buddhist monk makes two vows: the renunciation of money and sex. While Lama Tenzin may or may not be guilty of the charges in Washington State, the record is pretty clear that he broke his vow of celibacy with Sara Bronfman.

***

Sara Bronfman met the Venerable Lama Tenzin Dhonden in Idaho in 2007. He visited the heiress in Albany in 2008. Sara encouraged Lama Tenzin to invite His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Albany to meet and work with Keith Raniere. The Dalai Lama agreed to a four day visit in April 2009.

Clare Bronfman told the Albany Times Union she had a vision of “…bringing His Holiness together with Keith, believing that we may have certain tools that His Holiness would think would be good and beneficial for humanity.”

they are repeating EST :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhard_Seminars_Training

Erhard Seminars Training (marketed as est, though often encountered as EST or Est), an organization founded by Werner Erhard in 1971, offered a two-weekend (60-hour) course known officially as "The est Standard Training". This seminar aimed "to transform one's ability to experience living so that the situations one had been trying to change or had been putting up with, clear up just in the process of life itself".[2][3] An est site claims that it "brought to the forefront the ideas of transformation, personal responsibility, accountability, and possibility".[4]
...
As est grew, so did criticism. It was accused of mind control and labeled a cult. David G. Bromley places "Erhard Seminar Training" with Lifespring and Amway in a grouping of "quasi-religious therapies and corporations".[5]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werner_Erhard

...
A private investigator quoted in the Los Angeles Times stated that by October 1989, Scientology had collected five filing cabinets worth of materials about Erhard, many from ex-members of est who had joined Scientology, and that Scientology was clearly in the process of organizing a "media blitz" aimed at discrediting Erhard.[146] According to Harry Rosenberg, Erhard's brother, "Werner made some very, very powerful enemies. They really got him.

In their 1992 book Perspectives on the New Age James R. Lewis and J. Gordon Melton noted that est used "authoritarian trainers who enforce numerous rules", require applause after participants "share" in front of the group, and deemphasize reason in favor of "feeling and action." The authors also pointed out that graduates of est were "fiercely loyal," and recruited heavily, reducing marketing expenses to virtually zero.[1

The Hollywood Followers of Nxivm, a Women-Branding Sex Cult
Its founder, Keith Raniere, was just arrested in Mexico. But the controversial cult Nxivm has also attracted many rich and famous followers over the years.
Amy Zimmerman

...
From a Smallville actress turned alleged top recruiter to heiresses and billionaires, the cult Nxivm has cycled through a host of famous and influential followers.

Formerly known as Executive Success Programs, Nxivm is the brainchild of Keith Raniere, who was just arrested in Mexico on sex trafficking charges. As The Daily Beast previously reported, Raniere has been accused of creating DOS, a “sorority” in which female “masters” recruited “slaves” who were reportedly branded with Raniere’s initials and, according to FBI official William Sweeney, “considered [Raniere’s] sex slaves.”

Sweeney continued, “He allegedly participated in horrifying acts of branding and burning them, with the cooperation of other women operating within this unorthodox pyramid scheme.”

According to the AP, “Investigators said Raniere preferred exceptionally thin women, so ‘slaves’ had to stick to very low-calorie diets and document every food they ate. As punishment for not following orders, women were forced to attend classes where they were ‘forced to wear fake cow udders over their breasts while people called them derogatory names,’ or threatened with being put in cages.”

...
A 2003 Forbes profile of Raniere reported that “some 3,700 people have flocked” to Executive Success Programs. “Prompted by a potent word-of-mouth network, they include
Sheila Johnson, cofounder of Black Entertainment Television;
Antonia C. Novello, a former U.S. surgeon general;
Stephen Cooper, acting chief executive of Enron;
the Seagram fortune’s Edgar Bronfman Sr. and two of his daughters; and
Ana Cristina Fox, daughter of the Mexican president.”
Emiliano Salinas, the son of the former president of Mexico, likened Raniere’s courses to “a practical M.B.A.”

But long before Raniere was arrested—before ex-followers alleged branding rituals in The New York Times, leading him to flee upstate New York for Mexico—Keith Raniere was just a sketchy “executive coach” hawking his courses to an impressive list of acolytes.

“Why should we pay attention to this psycho factory? Because it has well-placed, well-heeled members and appears to be actively pursuing an entrée into political fund-raising...”

It is also interesting that Vancouver Canada was also the area used for MK-Ultra LSD studies back in the late 1950's

State scrutinizing research of doctor associated with NXIVM
Doctor's experiment calls attention to standards, oversight
By Brendan J. Lyons Updated 11:56 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017

HALFMOON — A physician who allegedly conducted human brain-activity experiments on people associated with the NXIVM corporation has apparently not published a scientific study in years and there is no indication his private research was being overseen by an independent review board, according to a medical expert and records of the National Institutes of Health and U.S. National Library of Medicine.

The state is examining the unusual research conducted by Dr. Brandon B. Porter, who abruptly resigned from his job at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany this week and has been associated with NXIVM for many years. The state Health Department initially brushed off a complaint filed in August by a Vancouver, British Columbia, woman who was associated with NXIVM and said she was traumatized from a bizarre experiment in which Porter showed her videos depicting graphic violence in August 2016. On Wednesday, the office of Gov. Andrew Cuomo said it was reviewing the Health Department's handling of the complaint.

NXIVM has acknowledged it has conducted human research studies, including for treatment of Tourette's syndrome, although it's unclear that any of the studies sanctioned by the company have been published or peer reviewed.
...
The IRS filings indicate the non-profit, Ethical Science Foundation, was funded at least in part by donations from Clare W. Bronfman, an heiress of the Seagram Company business empire who has described herself as the operations director of the NXIVM corporation.

A 2015 IRS form filed by the non-profit listed its "charitable activities" as "Tourettes study — studying the effects of a specific and innovative method has on individuals with Tourettes syndrome and obsessive compulsive disorder." The 2015 tax form said its expenses were $32,620.

...

The Vancouver woman, Jennifer Kobelt, 28, said the experiment she was subjected to last year — which had no apparent connection to Tourette's syndrome — took place in a small commercial building in Halfmoon that has been used for years by NXIVM for training and seminars.

Kobelt said she was recruited for the study by an assistant of Nancy Salzman, who is NXIVM's president, and that she knew of at least four other women who took part. Kobelt said she was not told what the study was for or what would take place, and that she was not asked to sign any documents indicating she had been informed what the study was about and consented to take part.

Jennifer Kobelt (Photo provided by Jennifer Kobelt)

Porter drove Kobelt to the building that day, she said, hooked her up to an EEG machine that monitors brain activity and showed her terrifying images and videos of murder, rape and mutilation. She described her ordeal to the Times Union this week and also detailed her experience in a complaint that she filed with the state Department of Health earlier this summer.
...
Porter's research on Kobelt and other women involved with NXIVM may be subject to ethical rules governing scientific research, according to medical experts.

Kobelt said that Porter routinely monitored the brain activity of her and other women, usually while they were taking part in NXIVM-related "personal development trainings."
...
NXIVM issued a statement on its website this week defending its practices in the wake of a New York Times story about Porter's experiment and a secret women's group within NXIVM in which another doctor branded female participants with the initials of NXIVM's founder, Keith Raniere, and a NXIVM associate, Allison Mack.

...

According to information referenced in a complaint filed with the state by Sarah Edmondson of Vancouver, at least 20 women associated with NXIVM were lured into the club. The participants were required to provide some sort of damaging "collateral," such as a nude photo or a dark revelation from their past, in order to become part of the club, she said.
...

Edmondson and another woman involved with NXIVM told the Times Union that they were brought into the club and subsequently branded by Roberts, who then gave them special bandages and advice on helping the wounds heal.

Edmondson said she was told it would be a "tattoo" and that she only learned weeks later that the brand, which she was told was a Latin symbol for "the elements," was actually the initials of Raniere and Mack, whom Edmondson's complaint identified as having "started" the secret women's group with Raniere.
...
Edmondson said she contacted State Police, but an investigator told her there was no criminal conduct because the women agreed to be branded.

'Smallville' actress Allison Mack arrested for alleged role in sex trafficking case
By Sandra Gonzalez, CNN
Updated 7:04 AM ET, Sat April 21, 2018

 (CNN)

Actress Allison Mack, best known for her role as Clark Kent's clever confidant Chloe on CW's "Smallville," was indicted on Friday on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy, according to a statement released by the Justice Department.

Mack's arrest is related to her alleged involvement with an organization called Nxivm (pronounced NEX-ium), a group that claimed to be a self-help program but was, in reality, a pyramid scheme in which some recruits were exploited "both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants' benefit," according to U.S attorney Richard P. Donoghue.

Nxivm's founder, Keith Raniere, also known within the group as Vanguard, was also indicted on Friday.

...

"As alleged in the indictment, Allison Mack recruited women to join what was purported to be a female mentorship group that was, in fact, created and led by Keith Raniere," Donoghue stated.

...

The allegations

Officials allege that Nxivm, based in Albany, New York, encourages recruits to pay thousands of dollars for courses to rise through the ranks of the organization and recruit others to do the same.

Officials say Mack, 35, is the co-creator of a program within Nxivm called The Source, which was targeted toward actors.

Mack and Raniere's charges stem from what officials say were activities that took place as part of a secret society within Nxivm called "DOS," in which women recruited others under false pretenses to perform sexual acts. Raniere was the sole male in DOS and the leader.

Until women recruited others, they were called "slaves." Those who successfully recruited were called "masters."

The indictment claims many so-called slaves were branded on their pelvic areas using a cauterizing pen with a symbol which, unbeknownst to them, incorporated Raniere's initials.
...
If convicted of the crimes charged, Raniere and Mack each face mandatory minimum sentences of 15 years' imprisonment, and up to life imprisonment.

Bronfman’s Empire

Bronfman holdings have been immense, including such famed companies as Campbell Soup, Schlitz Brewing, Colgate-Palmolive, Kellog, Nabisco, Norton Simon, Quaker Oats, Paramount Pictures, Kodiak boots and Hush Puppies shoes.

The Bronfmans held an interest in the Ernest W. Hahn Co. (which operated 27 shopping centers in California and had plans for another 29) and the Trizec Corp., one of North America’s biggest property development companies.

They controlled the Shannon Mall in Atlanta and the Galleria in Westchester, N.Y. and a shopping center in Hickory, N.C.

Bronfman controlled industrial parks in and near Los Angeles, office towers in Denver and San Francisco, and housing developments in Nevada, California and Florida, as well as Houston-based General Homes Consolidated, building houses in Mississippi and Alabama.

And they owned vast tracts of land in Virginia outside Washington, D.C.

And although the famous “Du Pont” name appeared on company products, the real power behind the scenes was Bronfman who—not content with owning 20% of the distinguished institution—took complete control in 1981, ultimately divesting his holdings.

Former Nxivm publicist Frank Parlato told the newspaper: 'I was told the reason they staged the seminars on Necker was they hoped to recruit Branson into the organization.'

A Virgin Management spokesman said that 'there is absolutely no association between Sir Richard and the Nxivm group or its leader'.

It seems unlikely that Raniere will be able to strike any deals with the US attorney's office, who successfully petitioned to have him held without bail in a letter to the court stating that the cult leader had sexual relationships with two minor females, aged 15 and 12, in the past.

Top Anti-Trump Democrat Senator Tied To Hollywood NXIVM Sex Cult
John Locke

Elder Patriot – Many sexually perverse and corrupt politicians are counting on the Deep State’s coup against President Trump to succeed lest they find themselves exposed, disgraced, and in prison.  That explains why they cling to their dying anti-Trump rhetoric even as one-by-one those they are counting on to conduct the coup are being forced to resign or be fired and criminal indictments are being prepared or already sealed.

One of those high-level politicians is a female senator from New York.  While I know you’re expecting (even hoping) it to be Hillary Clinton, her day of reckoning is ahead.

The appointment of Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to replace Hillary Clinton when she resigned her senate seat always seemed a little sketchy.  Now we know why.

Gillibrand is a controllable asset that the Clinton crime family can count on to do their bidding.  How can they be sure of this?  Gillibrand came out of the same swamp of sexual corruption that the Clintons have always relied on to stock their team.  In this regard, Gillibrand is a made woman.

The Clinton’s had long relied on the sexual perversities of their political allies (and opponents) to control their actions, their votes and their loyalty.

Here’s where NXIVM enters the picture.  NXVIM is, among other things, a sex cult where women are treated as slaves and where the cult’s leader, Keith Raniere brands his slaves genitals with his initials.

Raniere and Smallville actress Allison Mack were recently arrested and charged with sex trafficking.  According to sources Mack is singing like a canary but we have not yet learned what she has told authorities.

Here’s what we do know as of now.

NXIVM had a team of lawyers and lobbyists from both sides of the aisle on its payroll including, according a report in the NY Post, Roger Stone, NY State Republican powerbroker Joe Bruno and Arkansas Judge Richard Mays.  Bill Clinton appointed Mays to the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Gillibrand’s father, Doug Rutnik, was retained as an attorney by NXIVM for four months.  Rutnik was paid $25,000 per month in 2004.

According to a source, “When he wanted to quit, he was falsely sued.  He ended up paying them back the $100,000 he’d been paid and signing a confidentiality agreement.”

When confronted with this Senator Gillibrand hid behind a spokesman who said:
“Sen. Gillibrand had never heard of this group until she recently read about them in the newspaper.”

Really?  This defies credulity.  Gillibrand’s father abandons a $25,000 per month gig four months into it when he learns of the depravity he’s being paid to defend, he gets sued, and he never once mentioned this to his daughter who is a rising powerbroker of sorts?

Rutnik worked for NXIVM in 2004 and fourteen years later Gillibrand is still in the dark?

More likely, Gillibrand is up to her neck in all of this.  Here’s why.

First follow the money.  According to Vanity Fair, Clare Bronfman and her sister Sara, heirs to the Bronfman (Seagram’s) fortune pumped as much as $150 million into NXIVM.

Clare Bronfman also maxed out the allowable contribution to Gillibrand’s special election campaign in 2010.  People in the Bronfman-Gillibrand circle talk.  It’s absurd to think that she heard nothing over these 14 years.  Senate campaigns involve opposition research – not just on the opponent but also on their own candidate to know what they might be confronted with.  It’s not possible this was missed.

An ex-member of NXVIM told the New York Post’s Richard Johnson:

“Sen. Gillibrand went after Bill Clinton for something that happened decades ago, but she’s done nothing about the women who are being branded and tortured right now, and right in her hometown.”

Gillibrand will not skate on this.  More importantly, the deal she will be presented with will demand she bear witness to the Clinton’s criminal syndicate.

Gillibrand is not the only U.S. senator (or representative) that will be implicated.

Now it’s our turn.  #DraintheSwamp.

NXIVM - Rainbow Cultural Garden

https://frankreport.com/2017/11/08/nxivm-crime-a-day-rainbow-cultural-gardens-needs-immediate-investigation-for-childrens-sake/

In Rainbow, small children are paired with foreign Nannies who talk to them in different languages: e.g. Monday: Chinese, Tuesday: Hindi, Wednesday: Spanish, Thursday: Russian, Friday: Arabic, Saturday: French, Sunday: English.
Keith Raniere says it will enlarge the brainpower of children.

Keith Raniere calls Rainbow Cultural Garden a scientific innovation.
...
1. Rainbow operates as an early childhood education center and/or a childcare center without a license for either operation.
2. Many of the Nannies in Rainbow, [called Multicultural Development Specialists] are from foreign countries and are here illegally.
3. Many of the Nannies had no visa to enter the United States and have been harbored illegally by NXIVM.
4. Many of the Nannies obtained Visitors Visas by falsely claiming they were travelling to the US to take courses with NXIVM. Once in the US, they became Nannies and were paid under the table.

5. With NXIVM’s Vice President of Operations, Clare Bronfman, as their sponsor, many other foreign nationals were offered Work Visas [H1-B visas].  NXIVM claimed the applicants would perform highly specialized jobs at specified payments. But after the visas were obtained, the applicant did not work as specified. Instead, the applicant worked as a Nanny at $10 per hour.
...
As Mr. O’Hara, Miss Natalie, and Miss Bouchey awaited trial on the computer trespass criminal case, Robert ‘Robbie’ Chiappone, became a critical witness.

Robbie was the alleged owner of the computer company, E-Mallard Web Corp., where the server for the NXIVM website was hosted. Robbie had registered hundreds of domain names for Mr. Raniere and Clare Bronfman including Nxian.net, the website Mr. O’Hara and others allegedly accessed without permission.

Robbie was the 20-something year old son of Esther Carlson Chiappone, a member of the High Rank of NXIVM [Esther holds the rank of Green Sash, Edge, one stripe].

Robbie’s real job was to drive children to Rainbow Cultural Garden.  At some point, Robbie was accused of sexually molesting a girl – and the New York State Police began an investigation. Mr. Raniere and Nancy Salzman worked to persuade parents not to cooperate with the State Police investigation, witnesses said.

No charges were filed. Robbie’s’ name was removed from all domain names and from the company that supposedly owned the server on which the NXIVM website was hosted.

Clare Bronfman originally told police that the server in question was in Saratoga

Schneiderman opens investigation of NXIVM research arm
By Brendan J. Lyons on March 25, 2018 at 6:50 PM

The state attorney general’s office is investigating a nonprofit foundation associated with the NXIVM corporation that allegedly sponsored brain-activity and other human behavioral studies without any apparent oversight, according to court records.

The nonprofit Ethical Science Foundation was formed in 2007 by Clare W. Bronfman, an heiress of the Seagram Co. business empire who has described herself as the operations director of NXIVM. Bronfman, who owns a horse farm in Delanson, is listed in public records as the trustee and donor of the Ethical Science Foundation.

At the request of the attorney general’s office, a state Supreme Court justice recently signed an order directing Bronfman and Dr. Brandon B. Porter, who is involved with NXIVM and conducted the human studies, to turn over all documentation associated with the research, including any written communications, videos, conclusions, consent forms and the names and addresses of “individuals associated with Ethical Science Foundation who participated in any manner with the studies.”

Ex: Schneiderman called me ‘brown slave,’ slapped me until I called him ‘Master’
By Kate Sheehy
May 7, 2018

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called his Sri Lankan girlfriend his “brown slave” and wanted her to refer to him as “Master,” the woman says.

Harvard-educated activist writer Tanya Selvaratnam told the New Yorker magazine that her yearlong affair with Schneiderman “was a fairytale that became a nightmare” — and quickly escalated into violence in the bedroom, even as he begged for threesomes.

“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam said.

“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”

Selvaratnam said, “The slaps started after we’d gotten to know each other.

“It was at first as if he were testing me. Then it got stronger and harder. It wasn’t consensual. This wasn’t sexual playacting. This was abusive, demeaning, threatening behavior.”

She said that as the violence grew, so did his sexual demands.

“He was obsessed with having a threesome and said it was my job to find a woman,” Selvaratnam said. “He said he’d have nothing to look forward to if I didn’t and would hit me until I agreed.”

She said she had no intention of adding a second woman to their bed.

The abuse increased until Schneiderman was not only slapping her but spitting on her and choking her, she said.

Catherine Oxenberg meets with officials over daughter’s cult involvement
By Richard Johnson
November 7, 2017

“Dynasty” star Catherine Oxenberg met in Albany on Monday with prosecutors in the office of NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and presented evidence that her daughter India is being blackmailed by a cult leader.

Oxenberg believes that India is part of a harem of young women who serve as sex slaves to Nxivm leader Keith Raniere and are branded like cattle with his initials.

The “slaves” are allegedly disciplined with a paddle, kept on starvation diets and forced by their “master” to turn over nude photos of themselves and graphic written confessions as “collateral” to ensure they won’t try to escape.

“I’m desperate to save my daughter,” Oxenberg told a friend before the meeting.
“I want to help the other young women. I am desperately hoping the authorities take notice and investigate.”
...
Gov. Cuomo’s office announced last month that it is reviewing why state officials have been slow to investigate complaints by former members of the cult.

Allison Mack Pleads Guilty In NXIVM Sex-Cult Case
by Tyler Durden
Mon, 04/08/2019 - 19:22

Former Smallville actress Allison Mack wept in a Brooklyn federal courtroom on Monday as she pleaded guilty
to charges that she manipulated women into becoming sex slaves for the leader of a purported self-help group tied to the Clintons.

The 36-year-old Mack apologized to the women who prosecutors say were exploited by the group's leader, Keith Raniere, within the "inner sanctum" of his NXIVM self-help business known as "dominus obsequious sororium" - Latin for "master over the slave women."

Mack allegedly occupied the second-most-senior position in the group.

"I believed Keith Raniere's intentions were to help people, and I was wrong," Mack told the judge as she pleaded guilty to racketeering charges. "I know I can and will be a better person," she added. Her sentencing was set for September 11.

Allison Mack Family Photos With Husband Nicki Clyne 2019

Sex cult sources: Allison Mack ?married? Actress Nicki Clyne to defraud US Immigration
April 3, 2018

Sources inside NXIVM told Artvoice that reputed sex cult leader Allison Mack ?married? former actresses/sex slave Nicki Clyne in order to keep Clyne in the USA.

Clyne is a Canadian citizen and was having difficulties fulfilling visa obligations.  Sources said India Oxenberg ? daughter of Dynasty TV star Catherine Oxenberg ? witnessed the nuptials.

Up until cult leader Keith Raniere?s flight from the USA ? and leading to his arrest in Mexico last week  ? Mack, Clyne and Oxenberg lived together in Mack?s townhouse near Albany, NY.  Raniere lived nearby in a home with two other women.

Mack, Clyne and Oxenberg are branded on their pubic region with initials of Raniere now in federal custody awaiting arraignment before a federal magistrate in Brooklyn on sex trafficking charges.

...

According to another source:

Marriage is actually a common way for NXIVM foreign nationals to stay in Albany with Keith before he fled the USA. Women from Mexico, US, the U.K. and Canada played this game. Marry someone when your visitor or work visa runs out! And Nicki had a O-1 visa as a Canadian. That means she was bringing worth to the US entertainment economy. But Keith told her not to work in acting and she hasn?t done much film or TV work since Keith got his hands on her so she probably couldn?t reapply for the same visa when the original one wore out. But since gay marriage is legal now and she and Allison are both devout followers, it made sense. It?s a great solution.
...

[ So she was in "Battlestar" while in the sex cult ? .... ]

Clyne (born February 11, 1983) played Cally Henderson Tyrol on the Sci-Fi Channel television program Battlestar Galactica from 2003-2008. She joined NXIVM around 2006, having been recruited in Vancouver.
...
Clyne was encouraged to quit acting by Raniere, according to multiple sources. Although under contract in her recurring role in the series, in 2008, she asked the producers of Battlestar Galatica to let her out of her contract. They agreed and, in an episode, her character was killed off.
...
She began work for Clare Bronfman where she was paid $15 per hour. From a successful actress on a TV show, she became a low wage worker and Raniere sex slave.

Sources say Clyne married Mack to remain in the United States and it was not a romantic relationship. Clyne was active in promoting sex trafficking and helped recruit women to be branded and blackmailed. Clyne took a lifetime vow to obey Raniere.
...

Mack is expected to be arrested on sex trafficking charges and has been identified as a co-conspirator by the US DOJ. Clyne?s role was very significant in the alleged sex trafficking cult. She is almost certainly going to be charged by the feds.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5652595/NXIVM-cult-members-India-Oxenberg-Battlestar-Galactica-star-Nicki-Clyne-spotted-NYC.html

...

If that does not work, Oxenberg, Mack and Mack's wife Nicki Clyne are prepared to testify that they alone were responsible for coercing members into having sex claims Parlato.

'Mack, Oxenberg and Clyne have made a pact to go to prison, saying privately they are ready to walk into prison tomorrow if Raniere could be free today,' reports Parlato.

Clyne, like Oxenberg, is also an employee at Plantmade.

Oxenberg's day shift means that she will likely not be in court on Monday afternoon when Mack has a bail hearing in her case.

Mack, 35, was picked up by the FBI in last week and arraigned in a Brooklyn federal court after a grand jury heard testimony from former cult members known only as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2.

Those women alleged that Mack would lure young ladies into joining the cult and then demand they turn over 'collateral' such as compromising photos or their personal assets.

This 'collateral' was then used by Mack to control them women, who were transformed into branded sex slaves according to court filings.

Nicki Clyne now commanding slaves and working at cafe in NYC
April 27, 2018

Nicki Clyne in a brown jumpsuit [not photo-shopped]
Nicki Clyne sent the photo above out on social media. It looks a lot like prison garb. Prison is where Nicki Clyne ? the former Battlestar Gallactica actress ? may be headed.
...
The Feds ? who charged her spouse Allison with sex trafficking and forced labor ? might like to trace how Seagram?s heiress Clare Bronfman paid Nicki before she got married to Allison via laundering money from the USA to Canada to Clyne at a pay rate of $15 per hour.
...
Nicki is also her spouse. The supposition is that Allison and Nicki cannot communicate ? except through back channels ? if at all. But the smart money is on the bet that Allison has defected and hence is no longer in the sex-slaver cult as her lawyers try to work out a plea deal for her ? which will undoubtedly include testifying against her former slave master Keith Raniere.
...
According to sources, Nicki is working at Plantmade Caf? on 2nd Street in New York City, eking out a modest living and, with Allison gone, running the slaves pods Allison once controlled.  It is not known if Plantmade is being used as a front for the cult and a recruitment locale since many attractive women patronize the vegan-based eatery.
...
Seagram?s heiress Clare Bronfman is now in charge of the entire NXIVM operation. NXIVM members are said to be in mortal fear she may be arrested ? which  would cripple NXIVM instantly since Bronfman runs the cult and funds its operations.
The fact is that NXIVM slaves have to be constantly commanded, which is a task Allison assumed until she was arrested.  While Clyne is good at managing the daily duties of the slaves, she is destitute and could not continue operations without Bronfman?s support. Which means, of course, that Clare is now responsible for ensuring that Raniere?s sex-slave operation stays up-and-running until its master returns.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole ; He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. - Job 5

Her guilty plea shuts down the discovery process in court. No public info. No details of the crime....

She'll prolly get a Smollet love tap from the "judge" and be sent on her way. The world loves its own.

Claire and Keith are TBD.
