Attack on presidential motorcade?

Vehicle attempts to ram Presidential Motorcade in Springfield, MO

At about 1:18 in this video you see a white car crash out of the woods and into a concrete bar ditch along the side of the highway.  Appears just as the presidential limo is passing.

A jolt to a small car like that would wreck the suspension, maybe make the car undrivable.  So if you were serious about such an attack, you'd use a vehicle that could make that jump.

Could this car have been seized remotely simply because it was in the area?  Makes me think of Andrew Breitbart's vehicle.
