Thanks to the Catholic Church in Slovenia who persuaded elderly Slovenians - the referendum were rejected gay marriages and Approval of children by homosexuals.
However, the young Slovenians believe in God (Catholic, Protestant or even Orthodox) would result in a totally different, or in favor of LGBT.

This was for the second time in under 3 years now, so it got shut down again.

The law actually passed silently without referendum, the people took action to collect signatures needed to start a reversal process, when it was approved a referendum was created and then the majority voted to get rid of the marriage law which included clauses about child adoption, the main problem of the pro-straight movement which wasn't really a movement it was literally a group effort from various kinds of sectors, the pro-gay obviously looked like a cult with their trendy outfits, the politicians who supported it were all having weird nerdy parties with funny looking hats

I just don't focus local much at all, I don't have much clips from local news to link to, I could link the direct off the national news organization archive, but it's most definitely geoblocked.

First time I ever voted in my country.
