wierd

plane reaches 31,000 feet then it descends at 30 meters a second

i looked it up, free fall for a sky diver is about 50 meters a second

i looked on some pilot forums, and after arguing the variables, one of the pilots said company policy was 3,000 feet a minute for passenger comfort. sometimes they go steeper for ATC or noise stuff at airports and stuff.

well that works out as 15 meters a second.

point is - not an engine failure, because the rate of descent is way to steep
if the engines fail then it would 'glide' and slowly descend

they say the plane had a "tail strike" in 2001

http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20011116-0

An Airbus A321-231 operated by MEA, sustained damage during a tail strike accident upon landing at Cairo International Airport (CAI), Egypt.
The flight, coming from Beirut, Lebanon, was cleared for an ILS approach to runway 05R. Reportedly, as the aircraft was descending through about 200 feet, it 'ballooned up' and the pilot had to apply nose-down pitch to regain the glide path. Descending through 100 feet the pilot again applied nose-up pitch to correct the glide path. The aircraft then suffered a tail strike.

A tail strike is when the Tail of the aircraft hits the tarmac hard on landing.

This caused extensive tail damage - that requires repairs - which if not done 'right' years latter will cause EXPLOSIVE DECOMPRESSION

Japan Airlines Flight 123 -
explosive decompression was caused by a faulty repair to a Tail Strike performed 7 years earlier.
12 minutes after take off, at near cruising altitude . . .

sound familar  ?

China Airlines Flight 611
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_Airlines_Flight_611

22 years after the "Tail Strike Repair"
climbs to 35,000 feet 25 minutes into flight - bang - explosive decompression rips tail section

see the pattern ?

The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.
I simply don't follow the logic in locking this, or do I go along with locking -Trump issues among others etc.

Hi D.
Just an opion, this one is a grabber. I'm just saying it should be labeled-" moved" to rather than locked or simply kept on open forum untill folks get  their 2 cents in on this.
Folks will want a take on this, not simply because its another plane crash, more precisely a Middle East tragedy. As of now the title is        plane(:., as far as I can tell.
I have to mention with all due respect, information concerning candidates, even the Trump as he has mentioned specifics that have been game changers politically, etc.
It just seems as if some issues should be kept on the general forum for a while especialy so for the newcomers.

How about why start a second thread when our resident russian had already started a thread - while the story was breaking ?
They decided which board to post and the thread title.

All I did was MERGE the second thread into the original thread !

To Avoid Confusion I left a MOVED Post behind - sticky'd at the top, the very top of General Discussion.

it does not surprise me that the western media is already trying to sell the ISIS angle.

yet, as I posted extensively with links to real research - tragic yes - but its most likely the result of the accident repair to the tail section.
this has happened before !
its all so predicatble

plz look at the info i posted earlier - then look at the presstiitude media spin

as for ISIS -- provoking russia would have been the most stupid retarded dumbest thing on earth
i dont think ISIS are that stupid

its a false flag in the sense the press are blaming ISIS when we have no reason to think they did it.
for a start, the plane was just to high up to be visible or a man-pad shoulder launch missile to reach it...
besides, how would they identify the target ?
how could they see a small plane at 30,000 feet - cripes they must eat a lot of carrots.

Pure speculation but the US has that capability. Wouldn't surprise me if that be so especially the blaming isis part.

just for args sake - say it was shot down

but how did they know which plane to shoot at ?
they all look the same,
take off times are subject to air traffic control

in other words - its just not plausible.

FROM http://www.army-technology.com/projects/stinger-man-portable-air-defence-system-manpads/

The Stinger missile is propelled by a two-stage boost / sustainer solid propellant flight motor, which provides a speed of more than Mach 2. The motor is powered by improved composite solid propellants. The propulsion system ensures the missile to operate at a maximum altitude of approximately 10,000ft and provides a maximum range of five miles.

It is not False flag because one reason. All passengers are citizens of Russia. ISIS did not use a "Stinger" but they blow the plane.

with regard to ISIS it should be said that guyz simply took responsibility for the purpose of showing off.

however egypt head of civil aviation ministry denied that pilots made any request for urgent landing

that is a very dramatic "change the script" on the part of the presstitute media

Before this gets DELETED

An Egyptian aviation official says the pilot had reported technical difficulties before losing contact with air traffic controllers. Ayman al-Muqadem, a member of the Aviation Incidents Committee, said the pilot had asked to land at the nearest airport.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was actually a military industrial complex cyber false flag attack on the planes computer & electronic systems.  Infinitely more likely to be the case than any of the bullshit the TV/govt tells you it is.

An expert on RT News got a minute to say "ISIS do not have weapons that could do that"

The plane came down in 2 pieces, one will be the Tail Section . . . because like I said all along, the most likely, logical explanation is that the repair to the AIR FRAME in the tail section is the most likely cause.

"Tail Strike Repair" - The pattern

Tail Strike damages the Air Frame
Repairs rather than Replace
Repeated YEARS of Compression and Decompression eventually cause Metal Fatigue
Last about 20 minutes into Flight, having just achieved Cruising Altitude - BANG

Does this sound familiar ?

THE QUESTION !

Since journalists are paid to look into these stories, and can ask aviation experts - who can look up the HIISTORY of the Plane, how come nobody has even mentioned this as a possibility ?

I get it, thank you Donnay & MIA.

found a vid, I'm not attmepting to sway anyones opinion or get defensive, in fact the only back up I have is a vid from Egypt.. The claims have been made the jet was under 30 thousand and off the radar for a period of time.
As for this vid, who knows.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thsVojTdh4U

My sympathy for the victims and family's,,,

I have seen pilots REFUSE to fly a passenger jet due to minor glitches, litterally tell uper managment to stuff it...If in fact this tail problem was exposed before flight, why the hell did they allow it off the ground...Strange the pilot called in there was a technical difficulty not a structural problem...Go figure.

Is it a fact the plane was off radar for 20 minutes prior to the crash, that it was not at 32,000, many a conflicting take on this one. Frankly despite the input it doesn't add up, my opinion only.
