New Hampshire's results were a total disaster for the Republican establishment

Quote
The results in New Hampshire were the best possible result for Donald Trump and the worst possible result for his Republican critics. New Hampshire didn't just hand Trump a win, it left him perfectly positioned to dominate in South Carolina, Nevada, and other future races.

Trump won by a double-digit margin, which is, of course, great news for him. But perhaps even better for Trump is the order the other Republican candidates finished. John Kasich finished in second place. Third place will probably go to either Jeb Bush or Ted Cruz, with Marco Rubio likely finishing in fifth place.

A whopping 62 percent of Republican voters view Donald Trump unfavorably — the highest unfavorable rate of any Republican presidential candidate. So in a two-way race between Trump and any other Republican candidate, Trump would be vulnerable. But Trump isn't facing one opponent — he's facing several of them.

So Trump's critics desperately need to unify around one candidate — and New Hampshire was supposed to be an opportunity to do that. Instead, New Hampshire left Republicans even further from having an anti-Trump champion:
John Kasich is an impressive candidate on paper: he's the popular governor of Ohio and was a key architect of the balanced budgets of the late 1990s. And his second-place finish in New Hampshire will help to boost his profile. But many Republican voters see him as too moderate. And more importantly he doesn't have the money and organization to wage a nationwide campaign.
Ted Cruz is probably the most formidable anti-Trump candidate. He won Iowa and likely finished a solid third or fourth place in New Hampshire. The problem is that many Republican insiders hate him. They're not going to rally around Cruz until they've run out of other options.
Jeb Bush also appears to have taken third or fourth place in New Hampshire. He has plenty of money and an extensive national organization. The problem is that he seems to be a fatally flawed candidate. He squandered an early lead and tens of millions of dollars in campaign cash to finish in sixth place in Iowa.
Marco Rubio, a charismatic Hispanic senator with a compelling life story, was supposed to be the Republican establishment's best hope. But after an embarrassing gaffe in Saturday's debate, he underperformed his recent poll numbers, finishing behind Kasich and likely behind Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz as well.

Add it all up, and the result is going to be continued paralysis. The primary doesn't put any of these four candidates in a position to seriously threaten Trump. And the longer it takes for the race to converge on a single anti-Trump candidate, the harder it will be for anyone else to catch up.

And it's even worse than that for Republican elites: the candidate with the best chance of challenging Trump is Ted Cruz, a man who many Republican insiders hate. So GOP insiders will have to choose between allying with a man they can't stand or making themselves totally irrelevant

... I almost blew a gasket when I read HOW MUCH MONEY
Mexicans are sending home from their USA paychecks.

 :o

"
Immigrant remittances received by Mexico have surpassed
Mexico’s $23.4 billion in oil earnings."

!
If you want to begin a mass plan to deal with illegals,
start first by eliminating, or regulating, Money Transfer
services to Mexico (western union etc) Watch how
quickly the problem begins to self-correct.

Prescient Trump – Hidden Report:
Mexico Remittances Total More Than
Entire Mexican Oil Revenue….

February 9, 2016 by sundance

Mexico’s former president Felipe Calderon recently responded to Donald Trump’s border wall proposal by stating:

…The Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall! And it’s going to be completely useless… (link)

Why now?

Why would Calderon make such a claim at this specific moment in time?  Well, here’s a report that will answer that question.

(Mexico) Remittances sent home by Mexicans working outside the country surpassed petroleum revenues in 2015 for the first time.   There was a 4.75% increase in money sent from abroad, most of which comes from the U.S., to total US $24.8 billion last year, up from $23.6 billion in 2014, said the Bank of México.

The bank said it was the first time remittances had totaled more than petroleum revenues since it began tracking them in 1995.   Oil revenues last year totaled $23.4 billion.

An important factor in the increase in remittances is the jobs created by economic recovery in the U.S.   Some 11 million Mexicans are believed to be living in the U.S. and many work in construction. Remittances, 97% of which are sent electronically, averaged $292 last year.

Trump’s proposal carries: the border wall solution, the employment solution, the enforcement mechanisms of current law, and another angle that is strategically essential. “WESTERN UNION REMITTANCES” (Money Services Compliance):

[…] Meanwhile, Mexico continues to make billions on not only our bad trade deals but also relies heavily on the billions of dollars in remittances sent from illegal immigrants in the United States back to Mexico ($22 billion in 2013 alone)

[…] Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; [page 2, paragraph 7]

I tried watching the Dem debate but was bored to tears after 10 minutes. Though fortunately I noticed a live Trump rally from Baton Rouge which was more interesting. It's much easier to talk common sense when you're not thinking like a sell-out globalist. Not that I trust any of these guy but he also hinted that stupidity may not be the only reason politicians seem like such horrible deal makers. That won't be news to anyone here though.

Donald Trump Was Right. Democrats(?) Have
Filed A Birther Lawsuit Against Ted Cruz

By: streiff (Diary)  |  February 12th, 2016

Donald Trump supporters have filed a lawsuit challenging the eligibility of one of his primary rivals, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), to run for president.

The lawsuit, filed Feb. 3 at a district court in Alabama, seeks a judgment “declaring that Rafael Edward Cruz is ineligible to qualify/run/seek and be elected to the Office of the President of the United States of America” due to his Canadian birth.

Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada, to an American mother.

The five plaintiffs — Sebastian Green, Shannon Duncan, Kathryn Spears, Kyle Spears and Jerry Parker — are all backing Trump in the Republican primary, according to AL.com.

The lawsuit cites Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution, which rules that “no person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of president.”

Under that clause, the plaintiffs claim, “Cruz is not a ‘natural born’ citizen of the United States of America.”

“Plaintiffs allege that at the time of Mr. Cruz’s birth, the United States could not confer citizenship upon him under any law or legal theory that exists,” the lawsuit states.

“‘Natural-born’ means native born within the United States or its dominions/territories,” it continues. “Canada is not a territory of the United States.”

I’m not going to get into the legal part of this argument beyond saying that John McCain and George Romney and, maybe, Chester A. Arthur, all had the same problem. Ultimately, this is a political issue and I would expect that the suit will be tossed for lack of standing. Quite honestly, if the House of Representatives certifies the election of President Cruz then he is a natural born citizen.

What is illustrative here is that Trump was really right. The Democrats in this race would file this lawsuit and they have. And they still threaten to.

my biggest problem with the Cruz citizenship is the DUAL citizenship he held for years

That alone should DQ him for POTUS . A "natural born" US person is a person that has never had any loyalty other than thaty of the USA.. period.  ie ... hainge been a Canadian citizen DQ's him as a potential POTUS.

The whole point of the constitutional limitation is to protect us from foreign influence and domination from a foreign power.

On top of that he was "surprised" he was a dual citizen? That should DQ him also!!

http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2014/06/no-canada-sen-ted-cruz-has-formally-shed-his-dual-citizenship.html/
No, Canada: Sen. Ted Cruz has formally shed his dual citizenship
Published: June 10, 2014 4:52 pm
Alberta-born Sen. Ted Cruz has given up his Canadian dual citizenship. The renunciation became official on May 14, roughly 9 months after he learned he wasn’t only an American.

Cruz received notification by mail on Tuesday at his home in Houston.

“He’s pleased to receive the notification and glad to have this process finalized,” said spokeswoman Catherine Frazier.

Cruz’s birth in Canada was never a secret. But it proved a political liability, with detractors taunting him as “Canadian Ted” and critics suggesting that his birthplace made him ineligible to run for president.

The dual citizenship came as a surprise to Cruz and his parents when The Dallas Morning News reported on it last August.

The senator provided a copy of his Canadian birth certificate at the time. He vowed almost immediately to shed his Canadian citizenship, and promised to tell The News first as soon as he succeeded.

Trump says Bernie Sanders is a 'communist' and Jeb Bush is 'gutless' and 'asleep at the wheel' - as he wows 11,000 at Tampa rally
'We're going to have a communist against the entrepreneur. I like the entrepreneur. Don't you think?' Trump asked a sea of humanity in Florida
He said Jeb Bush 'has a vicious streak' and is 'gutless' for running $20 million worth of negative ads against him
'He's asleep at the wheel, folks,' Trump said of the former Florida governor
Carnival atmosphere included a 'wave' in the upper seating deck and a contingent of 'Christian bikers for Trump'

...
'I never thought we'd see the day in our country,' he said, 'when a communist – because that's really, if you think about it – when a communist is the leading Democrat!'

'We're going to have a communist against the entrepreneur. I like the entrepreneur. Don't you think?'

'I watch this great country, and if that's the best we can do, that's pretty sad when you think of it. It's pretty sad,' Trump said.

Ron Paul is pushing back against critics of his "Golden Rule" in foreign policy and questioned those who booed him at Monday's GOP presidential debate.

Speaking in Spartanburg, S. C. Tuesday afternoon, Paul referenced America's threats of an oil embargo on Iran.

"This is why I bring up the "the golden rule" if we don't want people to ban oil imports to our country, why should we do that to another country," said Paul adding "I don't know why that is such a negative term for people to boo that. "

Trump again hints at third-party run: 'The RNC is in default' (The RNC is just as much a liar as the DNC, and as many of both of their candidates. How shameful that only little boys and girls run for office, and control political parties, instead of True American Statesmen with some integrity. What a joke! I agree with Trump on this one also. If the RNC can lie to him and then betray him, then he doesn't have to abide by the agreement they made either.) Looks like the RNC and DNC both need a thorough cleaning out of scumbags.

Quote
...... Fast forward to 6:40 to hear some of his foreign policy ideas, which are far more nuanced and calculating than his campaign ‘performance’ would have you believe. The way he speaks here is remarkably different from the vitriolic rhetoric you see during the debates or when he is in front of his supporters. It’s so different in fact, that it feels like a body double took his place for the interview. For better or for worse, the rabble rousing Trump you see on stage is not the real Trump. In that sense, he really isn’t that different from most politicians.

And love him or hate him, you have to admit that he is much more intelligent than he’s been letting on. Clearly, he’s been dumbing down his message to gain the respect and support of the average American. And the implications of that are far more terrifying than the prospect of any these candidates making it to the White House

Quote
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that the Republican party is breaking its pledge to stay neutral while pouncing on GOP rivals who attacked him at a weekend debate.

“I have never met people like politician. They are the most dishonest people I have ever met,” the New York billionaire said during a stop at Mount Pleasant hotel on Monday. “They lie, lie, lie and then they apologize.”

Trump suggested that the Republican National Committee was not honoring a pledge to not hurt his campaign if the businessman promised not to mount a third-party presidential run.

Trump was booed several times during the Republican presidential debate Saturday in Greenville for criticizing other candidates. Trump said the debate audience was stacked with lobbyists and big Republican donors.

DONALD TRUMP MUST STAY IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

REMEMBER THAT RON PAUL KNEW HE HAD TO RUN IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO HAVE ANY CHANCE OF WINNING! SAME APPLIES TO TRUMP!

I AGREE WITH WHAT WAS SAID ON AJ SHOW TODAY THAT THE POWERS THAT BE WANT TRUMP TO GO 3RD PARTY, SO THEY CAN GET RID OF HIM FROM THE REPUBLICAN TICKET. THAT WOULD BE A BIG MISTAKE BECAUSE THEN HILLARY COULD WIN THE ELECTION!

Don't believe me. Look it up yourself!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That's the mindset unfortunately. Everyone says the parties are the same but then keep voting for the same thing, which will be the same if/when Trump takes office, the parties are bigger then the man.   I admit a 3rd party winner could do nothing(except stop further damage) with the corrupted congress we have, but would be a start in the right direction.

He would be in serious trouble as a 3rd party....In fact he would have his hands full if elected GOP.
2016, the powers are hard at work bringing this nation down for decades, this year will be -the tell all.
Rubio, though I don't cotton to this guy he said one thing that caught my attention.,
"Obama knows what he is doing"
WDC is a sewer run by the rats, they are being backed into a corner by DT, he has actually hit hard on the GOP...
I have often pondered on the reasons we have been betrayed, first thought-they have the goods on the congress.Pols-every error these slobs have made would be exposed if they stood up..2nd. their getting the gravy $$, protection, titles, and the constant reminder how this crew took out the 3K's (among others) and got away with it..

Hey Jeb- if you think Trump is being mean by calling your brother a liar, what do you think will happen when he reads the 28 pages that show he's also a traitor?

After hearing Alex talk with Steve Pieczenik yesterday I was very encouraged by what I heard. I was happy to hear that there are forces within our own government that are holding Trumps feet to the fire, and Trump has taken the high road.

This was all I asked for. The man has a lot of skeletons in his closet, none worse than the gangsters he's running against. It was just refreshing to hear what I wanted to, and thought should happen, is happening.

Trump coming at the Clintons and Bushes is a dangerous game. And now I ask for the people holding Trumps feet to the fire to protect the man any way you can and to ask no favors.

This is a pivotal point in our country's recent history and without the right people doing the right things we all will fail.
This country did not achieve greatness with the mindset of "safety first" but rather "live free or die".

DONALD J. TRUMP RESPONSE TO THE POPE

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story - he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

EXCLUSIVE — Mom Whose Son Was Tortured to Death by Illegal Endorses Trump, Says ‘Pope Doesn’t Care About Me’

In an exclusive telephone interview with Breitbart News, Laura Wilkerson, whose son was tortured to death by an illegal alien, explained why she cast her early ballot today for GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump.

“Trump will get in there and do something about [immigration]. I believe him. I want someone in there who has said they’ll do it and will do it… So many people stay home because it doesn’t affect them,” Wilkerson said. “And I understand that. I was the same way until [my son] Josh was murdered. But at some point, we have to close the door and deal with who we have here before anyone else comes.”

By contrast to her support for Trump, Wilkerson said that she “gave no consideration to voting Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79%
… I do not trust him for one second… He does not speak to the victims [of illegal alien crime],” Wilkerson explained. “Obviously, Rubio wants more immigration, no borders. That’s what his backers want and that’s the way he’s going to vote.”

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/270040-trump-pope-francis-a-terrific-person
...

Donald Trump is praising Pope Francis a day after he blasted the pontiff for seemingly questioning his faith and criticizing his proposal to build a wall on the nation's southern border.

"I think he's a terrific person, frankly," Trump said of [Pope] Francis during an interview with Fox News's Greta Van Susteren slated to air Friday night.

"But to me it's illegal immigration," he continued. "I don't think the pope really understood, in terms of the crime problem and the problems of illegal immigration."

A Vatican official on Friday sought to clarify the pontiff's widely reported criticism Thursday of Trump's plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, arguing it wasn't a "personal attack."

Asked about Trump, Francis told reporters aboard his airplane on Thursday that "a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not of building bridges, is not Christian."

...
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole ; He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. - Job 5

Trump attacks Apple for refusing to degrade the security and privacy on it's devices.

Trump basically wants you to trust him and let him remove the constitutional rights from bad people and rely on him and subsequent leaders not to abuse this power.

Rand Paul has been vindicated over and over on this - Trump is anti-constitutional and cares nothing for the freedoms, privacy and property rights of Americans.
