Bosnian war 1992-1995
« on: May 30, 2015, 08:25:42 am »
Маy 30, 1992. UN Resolution 757 : imposed sanctions on FR Yugoslavia and "Bosnian Serbs".
The sanctions were strictly: general economic, political, cultural, scientific, sports ... blockade and isolation.
All members of the Council voted to sanction other than Yeltsin's Russia and China, which abstained from voting.
The reason for imposing sanctions is the mass murder of people in line for bread in Sarajevo that the accused ("Bosnian") Serbs.

Neither the government nor the people in Serbia, sanctions are not taken seriously (?) and it will not last long (?!). However, sanctions are later represented even psychological trauma in Serbia that is pro-American Democratic Party and the Parties gathered around her abused to come and stay in power as and worked.

On this day in 1992 on 12: 00 occurred battle : armed Serbs defend little Serbian town Bratunac from 2 Brigades of the Muslim Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the command of Naser Orić .

In Muslim attacks on Sebian villages Zalazje, Biljača, Sase and Zagoni killed 69 Serbian soldiers and civilians and missing them
22 of which have trapped living and 7 have not yet been found. The remaining 10 Serbs were found by accident during the exhumation of a mass grave in the Zalazje search for missing Muslims (?) after 19 years.
Zalazje is completely deserted.

The Hague court for war crimes in ex-Yugoslavia acquitted N. Orić of any guilt.

Serb Veljko Vasić from Srebrenica came yesterday in the village of Zalazje after many years. He is a living witness to the bloody orgy units of Naser Orić in Zalazje, grisly scene of which is hair-raising ...
"That St. Peter Day evening Muslims surrounded us in the center village. In the house where we were thrown a bomb, and
I was wounded managed to jump out and move into the next house. There're six of us set fire to the floor below
and huddling in the attic. We listened above critical cries, screams of wounded nine others comrades who are captured by
Orić...they dumped the tires on them and debt burned them ... Some of them are living worse ... Like now I hear their screams.

And Serbian woman Stojanka Stanojevic (72) from Zalazje witness the bloody St. Peter's Day in the village.
"That day they killed my son, Božo ... I saw Naser Orić, riding white horse, crossed belts, machine gun over his arm, shouts:  Catch Chetniks alive"..." He recalled yesterday.
source: Belgrade daily newspaper "Kurir", 07.13.2013.

Every year the Serbian Orthodox Church serves significance for the 3200 Serbian victims in Bratunac and other villages.
Memorial service attended only by relatives of victims and representatives of veterans' associations of Republic of Srpska
( entity in Bosnia & Herzegovina ) while foreign media and Western officials ignored fully the importance of this.

On this day in 1994 under the threat of tightening sanctions of the United Nations to Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ( Serbia and Montenegro ) , the President of Serbia and the Socialist Party of Serbia, Slobodan Milošević demands of the leaders of the Republic of Srpska Dr Radovan Karadžić and Colonel General Ratko Mladić to accept the new peace plan of "Contact Group" for Bosnia and Herzegovina "or he would be responsible for crimes against own people."
Dr. Karadžić and General Mladić did not accept Milosević's proposal. They put Contact Group plan to a referendum in Republic of Srpska.

On this day in 1992 Belgrade, Serbia

Pro-Western leader of the political party Civic Alliance of Serbia and the NGO Centre for Anti-War Action Vesna Pešić tried to pair with their counterparts from other NGOs organizing a protest against the alleged forced eviction of people from the Croatian village near Belgrade.
She blamed the president of right-wing Serbian Radical Party prof. dr. Vojislav Sešelj but that he does it with the tacit support of President of Serbia Slobodan Milošević.

There was no incident at the rally. Citizens who read every day and watched the media terrible civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina did not occur to them to join "tears of Pešić" for a few Croats who still got hold of the Croatian ( V. Pešić never blame Croats or Muslims for war crimes against Serbs for 25 years ).

The war crimes court in The Hague, Netherlands, accused Šešelj for allegedly forcibly expelling Croats from Hrtkovci but the verdict has not yet been issued.

Yesterday in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Belgrade, Serbia via video-link testimony protected witness against the Muslim "defender" of Srebrenica against the Serbs - Naser Orić.

The protected witness testified that Orić personally killed Serbs who captured the Serbian villages around the town of Srebrenica (the witness was a soldier of the Muslim Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina and took part in the war).
Orić's lawyers challenged the evidence or be "protected witness' testimony will continue in March.

On this day in 1992 Bosnia

Although an agreement was reached between the Muslim-Croatian authorities in Tuzla to the Federal Yugoslav Army (JNA) withdrew peacefully from the city, the Muslim paramilitary units ("Patriotic League of Bosnia and Herzegovina") and local police attacked the JNA when withdrawing from a base in Tuzla, killing 50 and wounding 44 soldiers (95% Serbs).

On This Day 8 / 30.1995.NATO began bombing Serbian Republic (RS), more specifically the area around Sarajevo and Gorazde (Operation "Deliberate Force" ), a pretext that it would "bring the Bosnian Serbs ( R. Karadzic and Gen. Mladic )  to the negotiating table."

NATO bombed Pale near Sarajevo

The bombing lasted 2 weeks was used radioactive ammunition and killed more than 100 Serbian civilians and Croatian-Muslim troops in the west of Bosnia won 400,000 square kilometers, where the 170000 Serbian civilians fled.

NATO gave support from UNPROFOR rapid reaction force artillery attacks on Bosnian Serb Army (VRS).

The attack was officially approved by the Secretary General of NATO Vili Klas (Belgium) and the RS defense was commanded by Lieutenant General Ratko N. Mladic.

Bombers: US President W. Clinton & GB PM J. Major      in the middle Commander of Bosnian Serb Army (VRS) Gen. Mladic

Illegitimate President of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Alija Izetbegović promises that Muslim Army of BiH will make no use of airstrikes
NATO against the Serbs in the Sarajevo area but his first minister Haris Silajdzic says that it does not apply to other fronts.

PR of UNPROFOR British Lt. Col. Chris Vernon said: "Since the objectives of the airstrikes in eastern Bosnia, I do not believe there is a connection between these two things."

After the "comments of bombing Serbs", C. Vernon was promoted for PR of British military invasion in Iraq in 2003 (operation: "Enduring Freedom" )

However, he believes the bombing jeopardized "command and control chain of the Bosnian Serbs' (VRS) .. Lt. Col. Vernon's later statement said the attacks by NATO installations and communications VRS, threatened the possibility of control over these areas and prevent that through the corridor in Posavina performs logistic supplies and reinforcements being brought in. July, 21 1995. London, England

Representatives of 16 countries at the International Conference on Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) threatened that if the Republic of Srpska attack the Muslim Army of BiH in the UN "safe area" of Gorazde, Bosnian Serbs will face the bombing of NATO aircraft (under the euphemism - "decisively reciprocation which includes the use of air power ").

9/15 1995 in Belgrade, Serbia

President of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Dr. Radovan Karadzic and the commander of the Army of RS (VRS) Lieutenant General Ratko Mladic accepted the proposal of the President of the Republic of Serbia S.
Milosevic on the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the Sarajevo front with the promise that the Muslim Army of Bosnia and Hercegovina do not start an offensive in that area.
VRS that has not only with weapons below 100 mm ( except mortars of 82 mm) and some anti-tank
weapons. Therefore, NATO warplanes "suspended" bombing of RS for 72 hours (!).
This decision RS leaders: President Dr. Karadzic and commander of VRS Gen. Mladic had to land after a five-week NATO bombing of land because of the catastrophic situation in western Bosnia and the Croatian-Muslim offensive, which caused a large number of Serbian refugees from that region.

"War in Bosnia started with murder of Serb wedding guest"

Bosnian politician Fahrudin Radoncic appeared as a witness on Monday before the Municipal Court in Pristina, in the trial of Naser Kelmendi...
Ramiz Delalic aka Celo shot and killed Nikola Gardovic, a guest at a Serb wedding, in front of the a Serbian Orthodox Church in Bascarsija, central Sarajevo, on March 1, 1992, Vecernje Novosti said in its report. Delalic also shot and wounded the priest Radenko Mikovic. On the same day, a referendum was held in what was then the Socialist Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina - a federal entity of Yugoslavia (SFRJ), when Bosniaks and Croats decided that this republic should leave Yugoslavia.

The bloody wedding in Bascarsija was the trigger for the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, writes the paper, adding that this was also what Radonicic told the court in Pristina on Monday, and described at the same time Delalic as "one of the best-known people in Bosnia-Herzegovina, one of the icons of the war, regardless of how anyone may wish to understand that."

The tragedy of the Gardovic family, meanwhile, became a symbol of the suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo. Vecernje Novosti writes that shortly after this horrible crime Gardovic's wife and children, aware that they cannot stay in Sarajevo, left the city. Later, most of their compatriots would be forced to do the same. Many Serbs who remained "did not survive Kazani, and other places of their suffering during the war, " the paper said.
