True statement! Sad and Reality!

The public needs to stay on him and when you see a flip, call him out (the same with every politician). When pressure is put on these politicians from the public (THE JOB OF THE PUBLIC) they will respond. If the public does nothing, politicians go the way of whoever funds them or has the loudest voice.

People should know this by now! GET ON THEM AND STAY ON THEM UNTIL THEY LISTEN TO YOU! An engaged public is VITAL in the current environment that we find ourselves.
Don't believe me. Look it up yourself!

We have a couple of filibustering now possibly presidential candidate's  ... Cruz and Paul  - so which of them is the real deal?
Or is it a comparison of Coke and Pepsi?

Ted Cruz's Anti-Obamacare 'Filibuster': "I Will Talk Until I Am No Longer Able to Stand"
Published on Sep 24, 2013

On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) rose on the floor of the U.S. Senate for what his staff said would be a "talking filibuster" against the Affordable Care Act and in favor of a continuing resolution which would defund that law. He said that he would talk until he could no longer stand and that his intention was to "make D.C. listen."

"Madame president, I rise today in opposition to Obamacare," Cruz began. "I rise today in an effort to speak for 26 million Texans and for 300 million Americans."

"Obamacare isn't working," he continued. "And yet, fundamentally, there are politicians in this body who are not listening to the people."

"I intend to speak in support of defunding Obamacare until I am no longer able to stand," Cruz added. "To do everything that I can to help Americans stand together and recognize this grand experiment three and a half years ago is quite simply not working."

Cruz lavished praise on his colleague Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) who also favors defunding the ACA and, as Cruz said, has been subject to "vilification from official Washington" for it.

"The frustration is that the men and women in Washington aren't listening," Cruz later asserted. "It is time, Madame president, quite simply to make D.C. listen."

Ted Cruz ‘filibuster’: After 21 hours of anti-Obamacare talk mixed with Dr. Seuss and Star Wars, Texas senator votes to consider House bill

Cruz read from 'Green Eggs and Ham,' mentioned Darth Vader and the Founding Fathers — and earned a leading role among anti-Obamacare Republicans while angering others.

For 21 hours and 19 minutes, from Tuesday afternoon to midday Wednesday, he stood on the Senate floor and talked and talked, railing against President Obama’s signature health care law.

Yet, when his stunt ended, the Republican senator was no closer to killing Obamacare.

Sen. Rand Paul: My filibuster was just the beginning
By  Rand Paul,

Rand Paul, a Republican, is a U.S. senator from Kentucky.

If I had planned to speak for 13 hours when I took the Senate floor Wednesday, I would’ve worn more comfortable shoes. I started my filibuster with the words, “I rise today to begin to filibuster John Brennan’s nomination for the CIA. I will speak until I can no longer speak” — and I meant it.

I wanted to sound an alarm bell from coast to coast. I wanted everybody to know that our Constitution is precious and that no American should be killed by a drone without first being charged with a crime. As Americans, we have fought long and hard for the Bill of Rights. The idea that no person shall be held without due process, and that no person shall be held for a capital offense without being indicted, is a founding American principle and a basic right.

Oh look at the past for a peek at the future ... James Earl Carter:

Dr. John Coleman, former British Intelligence, revealed in the following video that RIIA ordered David Rockefeller to find a weak candidate for President, preferably one who was mentally weak. He contacted Dr. Peter Bourne, who was one of the best brainwashing specialists trained at Tavistock, who revealed to them that he was currently treating Jimmy Carter for a nervous breakdown, and that he hated rejection. So, this was just the person they were looking for, basically someone they could manipulate. They met with Carter and wined and dined him, and then shortly thereafter starting promoting him in the press. Then magically he wins the Presidency.

Bourne became Carter's handler. Our Presidential candidates have been selected by this method for decades, and by people outside our country. They provide candidates they can live with, then we think we have selected a President. It's all a smokescreen and big lie. SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE! It's becoming more and more obvious who actually runs this country, and it's not who most think!

Who is Peter Bourne? PBS Interveiw:

Describe yourself, and what you were up to when Bud Krogh found you. What was the atmosphere of drug abuse treatment then?
I had been hired by President Carter, who was then the governor of Georgia, to set up a statewide drug treatment program. . . . One of my longtime friends and college classmates, Robert DuPont, was already running the drug treatment program in Washington, D.C. Governor Carter said that he wanted me to set that up in all the major cities in Georgia. So I agreed.

A group of a half-dozen of us was running programs, mainly methadone maintenance programs, in major cities around the country. . . . People concerned about drug abuse recognized my program as one of these big successful programs. Shortly after, President Nixon set up the Special Action Office for Drug Abuse Prevention (SAODAP) and Jerry Jaffe was made the director. Bud Krogh, the contact person in the White House, came to Georgia to ask if I would come and be the deputy to Dr. Jaffe in charge of the treatment programs. So that's how I ended up coming to Washington....

Iamc2,

There are a couple of reasons I think the reason they turn a deaf ear.
1. The public (Prussian) education system has dumbed down the public to the point of not caring unless it effects them on a personal level or they can make a profit without having to work for it.
2. Sodium Fluoride

  • Peace sells, but who's buying?
If you snap it like a rat trap you will end up like JFK

I believe it comes down to that part in the Declaration of Independence that talks about "consent of the governed".

In order to be governed, it has to be by your consent. You have to give up your rights that were given to you by God in exchange for benefits & privileges that are given and can be taken away by man (government).

So until Rand has the consent of at least the majority in this country, to do things Constitutionally, how do you suppose he plays it? He does none of us good pushing daisies.
This country did not achieve greatness with the mindset of "safety first" but rather "live free or die".

Rand Paul: Republicans must move ‘beyond deportation’
By Katie Zezima
April 1 at 11:37 am

Republicans need to move “beyond deportation” in order to make inroads with Latino voters and focus on issues such as the economy and jobs, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Tuesday.

“The bottom line is the Hispanic community, the Latino community, is not going to care until we get beyond this issue,” he said.

Speaking before a symposium on conservatives and Latino media Tuesday morning, Paul said "showing up" helps, but Republicans need to take a different tack and start "saying something that's different from what we've been saying."
