The BAE Systems’ Jetstream, known as ‘The Flying Testbed’, is an aerial laboratory.

Same Configuration as a Prop-driven Civilian Aircraft

"It's a unique aircraft which has been developed to be flown by pilots or as an Uninhabited Air Vehicle (UAV). Racks of computers and control systems in the rear of the aircraft, together with satellite communications, mean it can fly as if it were a UAV without any input from the pilots. This year it will trial a range of new technologies to be developed under the ASTRAEA programme, including what is believed to be the world’s first autonomous weather avoidance system, in addition to ‘sense and avoid’ technologies and an autonomous emergency landing system."

Moreover, - the ASTRAEA website describes the Common European and UK airspaces in which these 'Experimental Drones' are to be deployed on a WIDE SCALE veiled under the auspices of Exigency. I mean what can their legitimate purposes be apart from profit acquisition for our master capitalists and military corporations. How did the Government of individual Nation States in Eurpope succumb to their influence ...? Oh, we remember now; it's called European Federal Autocracy and Hagiocracy.
Press Release - May 2013

"The aim of the ASTRAEA programme is to enable the routine use of UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) in all classes of airspace without the need for restrictive or specialised conditions of operation. This will be achieved through the coordinated development and demonstration of key technologies and operating procedures required to open up the airspace to UAS.

ASTRAEA  (Autonomous Systems Technology Related Airborne Evaluation & Assessment) is a UK industry-led consortium focusing on the technologies, systems, facilities, procedures and regulations that will allow autonomous vehicles to operate safely and routinely in civil airspace over the United Kingdom.

This ground-breaking, £62 million effort is led by an impressive consortium of seven companies: AOS, BAE Systems, Cassidian, Cobham, QinetiQ, Rolls-Royce and Thales."

The programme consists of two separate projects:

The 'Jetstream' has been developed for deployement in the UK and Eurozone's new 'Common' And 'Shared Airspaces', which are of course names generated by Corporate pressure by the companies and legitimized by the Client Governments!

You'll never know if there's a Pilot on-board unless you're at ATC, and even then maybe not.
