CelsiusTech, a Swedish defense contractor, was on the verge of bankruptcy in 1988 when they made the decision to switch to Ada. They attribute their $350M profit in 1992 to reuse. This reuse was enabled by, but not limited to, Ada.

They delivered 11 real-time combat systems in Ada. Much of what CelsiusTech has done is often referred to as "Product Line Engineering."

S-18184, Lidingo, Jarfalla, Sweden

ShipSystem 2000 is a family of naval shipboard command and control systems produced by CelsiusTech Systems AB of Sweden since the late 1980s. Begun in 1985 as a business and technical response to two large contracts awarded simultaneously, ShipSystem 2000 is based upon a robust architecture that was designed to handle both of those initial systems as well as the more than fifty variants that followed. Family members include systems for ships from coastal corvettes to cruisers to submarines, for navies all over the world. These systems comprise 1-1.5 million SLOC of Ada code, are hard-real-time, embedded, and safety-critical. CelsiusTech has been able to slash production time, build more systems with fewer people, and increase quality. The story of ShipSystem 2000 was one of the first and most important case studies in successful software product line engineering.

Between 1986 and 1998 CelsiusTech evolved from a defense contractor providing custom-engineered point solutions to essentially a vendor of commercial off-the-shelf naval systems.

I guess al-Qaeda infiltrated the military industrial complex.

A number of them are Canadian
It suggests to me that Atta had some sort of connection to Canada

I googled a 'Mohamed Atta Canada' and a few stories came up
A summary of what i found here: http://911research.wikia.com/wiki/Canada

Naval Ordnance Station Louisville ("NOSL") is a major employer of Louisville, Kentucky

United Defense and Hughes Missile Systems was given control of the facility on August 15, 1996. A collection of private companies, it would serve as a contractor for the Navy.

United Defense Industries was a United States defense contractor which is now part of BAE Systems Land and Armaments. In 1997 UDI was subject to a takeover bids by rival General Dynamics and Carlyle Group. It chose The Carlyle Group. The Carlyle Group floated the company in 2001 but retained a share of the company.

In September 2000, UDI purchased Bofors Weapon Systems AB of Sweden, subsequently renamed Bofors Defence. The previous owners of Bofors were SAAB who bought it from Celsius Group in March 2000. Celsius Group sounds a lot like CelsiusTech, whom Mohamed Atta emailed.

The Hughes Aircraft Company was a major American aerospace and defense contractor founded in 1932 by Howard Hughes in Glendale, California. Hughes Aircraft was acquired by General Motors in 1985 until GM sold its assets to Raytheon in 1997. Raytheon has its own ties to 9/11.

Carlyle; Raytheon; Celsius. There is a nexus of these firms at Naval Ordnance Station, Louisville.

The FAA's Red Team who examined and tested aviation security prior to 911 worked closely with the military, in particular the Naval Surface Warfare Centre in Port Hueneme, California who videotaped their activity.

I am reminded of the fact that many of the hijackers had ties to the Saudi military. That Saudi naval officers operating inside the US and stationed at US bases had contact with multiple 911 al Qaeda hijackers. And that the FAA's Red Team uncovered many of the security lapses that Al Qaeda seemed to take advantage of on 9/11.
