Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
« on: January 28, 2010, 08:44:39 pm »
A new sub-forum?  Cool.

I put this pdf together a couple of years ago.  It rambles a bit but addresses the subject.  There are relevant pictures embedded in the pdf.  Don't know how long I'll leave the pdf up, so I'll copy and paste the text here.

Kubrick's EYES WIDE SHUT and Trauma-Based Mind Control

Stanley Kubrick's film EYES WIDE SHUT is an exposé of a sinister brainwashing technique used by the world's ruling class.

The two main characters in the film, Dr. Bill Harford and his wife, Alice, seem to accept the world at face value, but then Dr. Harford has a life-changing experience. He sneaks in to a party where everyone is masked, and while he's there he witnesses a satanic ritual. The ritual is followed by an orgy involving obviously well-placed men and dozens of beautiful women. The experience is so bizarre that Harford spends the next day trying to find out exactly what was going on at the party. His inquiries lead to his life being threatened.

Meanwhile, Alice Harford is having an identity crisis, and during the course of her unraveling we come to suspect that she may have a past similar to that of the women at the party.

That's the movie in a nutshell--two simple story lines that touch, and they both deal with trauma-based mind control.

Psychologist Corydon Hammond lectured in 1992 on different methods of treatment for Multiple Personality Disorder (now called Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID). In his lecture, Dr. Hammond pointed out that the disorder appeared to have been programmed into some of his patients. He also pointed out that sex-slaves are Beta personalities--alter personalities programmed to perform sexual functions. Alice Harford may have been a Beta slave at one time, though she's not aware of it.

I encourage you to look into trauma-based mind control. Below are some notes that may help in researching the topic.

"All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event--in the living act, the undoubted deed--there, some unknown but still reasoning thing put forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask..." from MOBY DICK

In 1988, Nebraska state senator John DeCamp began looking into the failure of the Franklin Community Federal Credit Union in Omaha, Nebraska. He soon discovered that the credit union was involved with a network of ritual child abusers. DeCamp won a million-dollar lawsuit on behalf of one of the abuse victims in 1999. In his Memorandum of Decision, Judge Urbom, who was in charge of the case, wrote, "He [Bonacci] has suffered burns, broken fingers, beatings of the head and face and other indignities by the wrongful actions of the defendant King.... He is a victim of multiple personality disorder, involving as many as 14 distinct personalities aside from his primary personality."

Bonacci specifically named Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) as having participated in sex parties that minors attended. Bonacci also told the judge he (Bonacci) had "relationships with him (Frank)" in Washington, DC and was flown to Massachusetts for sex in the basement of Frank's Boston home.... [U.S. District Court, Nebraska, 4:91CV3037]

The same type of activity took place in the Reagan/Bush White House.

John DeCamp wrote a book in 1992 about his experiences with the Franklin case. The book's called THE FRANKLIN COVER-UP, and I made some notes when I read the revised 1996 edition. Paul Bonacci figures prominently in the story.

In Chapter 16 of THE FRANKLIN COVER-UP, DeCamp writes that three psychiatrists examined Paul Bonacci and said his Multiple Personality Disorder is genuine. The personalities were originally established, they said, at the exact moments of psychological terror when Bonacci, as a defenseless child, was physically and/or emotionally traumatized. Each personality has a distinctive handwriting. DeCamp says he himself has talked with three of Bonacci's personalities. Each personality recalls different things, so even though one personality may not recall a specific event described by another personality, that does not mean the event did not occur. All three of the psychiatrists who examined Bonacci said he is incapable of lying, and the things his different personalities describe really did happen.

Bonacci's words, From Chapter 10: "...King flew me out on a private plane from Eppley Airfield [in Omaha] to Denver where we picked up Nicholas, a boy who was about 12 or 13. Then we flew to Las Vegas to a desert strip and drove in to Las Vegas to some ranch and got something. Then flew up to Sacramento.... We were picked up by a white limo and taken to a hotel. I don’t remember the name of it. We meaning Nicholas and I were driven to an area that had big trees, and it took an hour to get there. There was a cage with a boy in it who was not wearing anything. Nicholas and I were given these Tarzan things to put around us and stuff.... They told me to f--- the boy and stuff. At first I said no and they held a gun to my balls and said do it or else lose them or something like that. I began doing it to the boy and stuff....” After that, Bonacci said, one of the men raped the boy from the cage, then he used a gun and "blew the boys head off." When it was over, they put the dead boy in a body bag and put the bag in the trunk of a car. Everything had been filmed.

Remember, three psychiatrists said Bonacci cannot lie.

In Chapter 21 of THE FRANKLIN COVER-UP, DeCamp says Bonacci told investigators that the ring which introduced him to Satanism was centered at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha. He said he was taken to Offutt to be sexually victimized by a babysitter's boyfriend when he was about 3 years old--around 1970. Offutt is the headquarters of Strategic Air Command and has thousands of intelligence personnel. Over the years, Bonacci interacted with many military functionaries, chief among them Lt. Col. Michael Aquino. Aquino was reportedly in charge of the Monarch Project for years and an expert in brainwashing, Satanism, Nazism, pedophilia and murder.

There's very little in the public record about government brainwashing programs because the information is classified. But one program that has received public acknowledgement is MK-ULTRA. This program was begun in 1953, and by the government's own admission 149 sub-projects of MK-ULTRA involved drug testing and "other studies" on unwitting human subjects. [Staff Report for the committee on veterans' affairs, 12-8-94] The most notorious of these sub-projects is known by its survivors as the Monarch Project. They say it produced their multiple personalities through trauma and ritualistic abuse.

Some excerpts from an article called "Project Monarch: Nazi Mind Control," written by Ron Patton:

The Anglo Alliance
The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations was set up in London in 1921 to study the “breaking point” of humans....

Much of the preliminary experimentation concerning genetic engineering and behavior modification was conducted by Dr. Josef Mengele at Auschwitz [during WWII]...

...parallel behavioral research was led by Dr. George Estabrooks of Colgate University. His involvement with the Army, CID, FBI and other agencies remains shrouded in secrecy. However, Estabrooks would occasionally “slip” and discuss his work involving the creation of hypno-programmed couriers and hypnotically-induced split personalities. [Martin Cannon, Mind Control and the American Government, Prevailing Winds Research, 1994, p. 19]

After WWII, the U.S. Department of Defense secretly imported many of the top German Nazi and Italian Fascist scientists and spies into the United States via South America and the Vatican. The code name for this operation was Project Paperclip. One of the more prominent finds for the U.S. was German General Reinhard Gehlen. Hitler’s Chief of Intelligence against Russia. Upon arriving in Washington D.C. in 1945, Gehlen met extensively with President Truman, General William “Wild Bill” Donovan, Director of the Office of Strategic Services(OSS) and Allen Dulles, who would later become the stalwart head of the CIA....

Reinhard Gehlen also had profound influence in helping to create the National Security Council, from which the National Security Act of 1947 was derived. This particular piece of legislation was implemented to protect an unconscionable number of illegal government activities, including clandestine mind control programs.

The Evolution of Project MK-ULTRA
...Project MK-ULTRA came into existence on April 13, 1953 along the lines proposed by Richard Helms, Deputy Director of Central Intelligence (DDCI) with the rationale of establishing a “special funding mechanism of extreme sensitivity.”[Final Report of the Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations, U.S. Senate, April 1976, p. 390]

...A host of German doctors, procured from the post war Nazi talent pool, were an invaluable asset toward the development of MK-ULTRA. The correlation between the concentration camp experiments and the numerous sub-projects of MK-ULTRA are clearly evident. The various avenues used to control human behavior under MK-ULTRA included radiation, electroshock, psychology, psychiatry, sociology, anthropology, graphology, harassment substances and paramilitary devices and materials...

Definition and Description of Project Monarch
The name Monarch...refers to the monarch butterfly. When a person is undergoing trauma induced by electroshock, a feeling of light-headedness is evidenced, as if one is floating or fluttering like a butterfly....

...some mental health therapists know it [Monarch programming] as “Conditioned Stimulus Response Sequences.” Project Monarch could be best described as a form of structured dissociation and occultic integration, in order to compartmentalize the mind into multiple personalities....

Alters and Triggers
...A file (alter) is created through trauma, repetition and reinforcement. In order to activate (trigger) the file, a specific access code or password (cue or command) is required. The victim/survivor is called a “slave” by the programmer/handler, who in turn is perceived as “master” or “god.” About 75% are female, since they possess a higher tolerance for pain and tend to dissociate easier than males. Subjects are used mainly for cover operations, prostitution and pornography; involvement in the entertainment industry is notable. A former military officer connected to the DIA, told this writer, “In the ‘big picture’ these people [Monarch victims] are in all walks of life, from the bum on the street to the white-collar guy”....

From a lecture, "Hypnosis in MPD: Ritual Abuse," June 25, 1992:

The way you create Manchurian Candidates is you divide the mind. It's part of what the Intelligence Community wanted to look at. If you're going to get an assassin, you're going to get somebody to go do something, you divide the mind....

...What they basically do is they will get a child and they will start this, in basic forms, it appears, by about two and a half after the child's already been made dissociative. They'll make him dissociative not only through abuse, like sexual abuse, but also things like putting a mousetrap on their fingers and teaching the parents, "You do not go in until the child stops crying. Only then do you go in and remove it." They start in rudimentary forms at about two and a half and kick into high gear, it appears, around six or six and a half, continue through adolescence with periodic reinforcements in adulthood....

...Alpha (personalities) appear to represent general programming, the first kind of things put in. Betas appear to be sexual programs. For example, how to perform oral sex in a certain way, how to perform sex in rituals, having to do with producing child pornography, directing child pornography, or prostitution. Deltas are killers trained in how to kill in ceremonies. There’ll also be some self harm stuff mixed in with that, assassination and killing....

Then there's Omega.... Omega has to do with self-destruct programming. Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.... Question: What's the difference between this kind of program and cult-type abuse and Satanic abuse?

Dr. Hammond: ...Satanism comes in the overall philosophy overriding all of this. People say, "What's the purpose of it?" My best guess is that the purpose of it is that they want an army of Manchurian Candidates, tens of thousands of mental robots who will do prostitution, do child pornography, smuggle drugs, engage in international arms smuggling, do snuff films, all sorts of very lucrative things and do their bidding and eventually the megalomaniacs at the top believe they'll create a Satanic Order that will rule the world....

EYES WIDE SHUT makes heavy use of rainbow and mirror imagery. Alice Harford's fascination with mirrors is a reference to THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, by Lewis Carroll. The book is a sequel to ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND. Both books are said to have been used extensively as programming matrices in early trauma-based programming.

Another important piece of fiction said to have been used in trauma-based programming is THE WIZARD OF OZ, with its land located somewhere "over the rainbow." In EYES WIDE SHUT the characters talk about rainbows, a shop called "Rainbow Costumes" is located above another business called "Under the Rainbow," and there are rainbows of Christmas lights everywhere.

The Oz books and the 1939 movie were used early on in mind control programming. Many of the triggers used to control alters (and many of the personal mythologies programmed into newly-created personalities) are taken from THE WIZARD OF OZ. Fritz Springmeyer and Cisco Wheeler have researched various aspects of mind control, and they've noted some connections between THE WIZARD OF OZ movie and the Monarch Project. They make many interesting points, including the following:

Dorothy becomes unconscious, the world begins spinning, and then she sees disjointed pictures. This also happens to Monarch slaves. Later in the film, Dorothy states, “My! people come and go so quickly.” This is exactly what happens to the Monarch slave whose multiple personalities come and go.... Personalities are switched in what are called “tornado spins” or “tornado spinning” and personalities called “spin off" personalities come up according to the number of revolutions the slave is commanded to spin. By spinning the slave, the master can choose what sexual perversion he wants as each “spin off" personality has been trained to carry out a different perversion. [My note here: This puts me in mind of Alice Harford "spinning" in the dance with flirtatious Sandor Svavost near the beginning of EYES WIDE SHUT. She later describes how a naval officer once triggered a desire in her to have sex, so perhaps her dance partner is attempting to do the same].

“Somewhere over the Rainbow...there’s a land where the dreams that you dare to dream really come true.” These lyrics are a method to hypnotically confuse the brain to perceive that the “over the Rainbow experience” (which is usually horrible abuse) is a “dream”. The dissociative mind is only too happy to call the trauma a dream... The term for this is cryptoamnesia...

To continue with the Oz/Monarch observations, one of the more famous of the alleged mind-controlled slaves is Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon. Chapman's zombie-like behavior at the scene of the crime convinced at least one of the responding policemen that mind-control had been used to carry out the assassination. Chapman strongly identified with THE WIZARD OF OZ movie. Researcher Peter Levenda wrote in "Sinister Forces" that Chapman "was so enthralled with this movie that when he went to New York City to kill John Lennon, he bought a still of the film that he left propped up in his hotel room." Chapman believed that a group of little people (possibly munchkins) ran his life, and the little people abandoned him after he'd killed Lennon. "The movie strip broke," Chapman said, according to Colin Ross in his book "Bluebird."

Some people believe Chapman's killing of Lennon was just a practice run for John Hinckley Jr.'s attempt on President Reagan's life less than four months later. Both Chapman and Hinckley had been members of World Vision, a company that employed John Hinckley's father.

"...World Vision official John W. Hinckley, Sr. was on his way to a Guatemalan water project run by the organization on the day his son shot at president Reagan." [The Black Hole of Guyana - The Untold Story of the Jonestown Massacre, by John Judge, 1985]

Also on the day Reagan was shot, John Hinckley Jr.'s brother Scott was supposed to have dinner with Neil Bush in Denver. Neil's dad (former CIA Director George H.W. Bush) was vicepresident of the U.S. at the time. The dinner was scheduled, but it was cancelled after the shooting took place. This was reported in many newspapers and by the television networks. George Bush would have become President if Reagan had died. World Vision came into the public eye in a big way in 1978, when their operation at Jonestown, Guyana made the headlines. Jonestown was just one of many World Vision compounds scattered around the world.

According to media reports, 913 "cult members" killed themselves because their "crazy" leader told them to commit suicide. The incident began when U.S. Congressman Jack Ryan went to Guyana to look into what was going on at Jonestown. He was murdered there. Below are more excerpts from John Judge's book:

"...(Ryan) was an author of the controversial Hughes-Ryan Amendment that would have required CIA disclosure in advance to the congressional committees of all planned covert operations....

"Witnesses described them (the killers) as 'zombies,' walking mechanically, without emotion, and 'looking through you, not at you' as they murdered...

"The Hughes-Ryan Amendment (that would have required the CIA to report to congress) was defeated shortly after Ryan's death."

The description of the Jonestown killers as "zombies" suggests mind control.

Trauma-based mind control has been extensively studied by the U.S. government and its intelligence agencies. In trauma-based conditioning, a person is tortured until his or her mind forms a new personality, then that personality is trained to carry out specific tasks. Our government has proven its willingness to torture time and again (just research "Abu Grahib" and "waterboarding"), and a government that tortures would not be above creating mind-controlled assassins, prostitutes and spies. Evidence of trauma-based conditioning is everywhere, but do you see it, or are your eyes wide shut?

Kubrick's film deals with trauma-based mind control, and maybe he would have told you so himself if he hadn't died unexpectedly just four days after he delivered the film to Warner Brothers. He'd been in good health, and then he was "found dead."

MK-ULTRA mind control experiments and Monarch sex slave programming

In Stanley Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut, are numerous veiled allusions to the CIA's MK-ULTRA mind control experiments and Monarch sex slave programming, subjects which readers of The Konformist should be well familiar. According to believed victims of Monarch abuse, their ranks number literally in thousands, and it has been alleged that these very same victims have been used extensively as sex slaves, drug mules and assassins. According to varied sources, Monarch programming begins immediately at birth, and is carried out through the lives of its victims, as they are used by intelligence agencies and secret societies like mere pawns on a gameboard, until--in many instances--they have outlived their usefulness, and are terminally "discarded". While this author does not buy lock, stock and barrel all of the sordid tales associated with Monarch abuse, I nonetheless suspect that it does actually exist in many cases, regardless of all the disinformation that exists in mind control lore obscuring the true reality of the situation. Like all weighty subjects--conspiratorial or otherwise--one must separate the wheat from chaff, which is not an easy proposition, to say the least. According to Per Sewen of Illuminati News, he viewed Eyes Wide Shut with a woman who had been "subjected to Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) by the Illuminati and she found it very, very accurate. None of us had any idea what the movie was about, so it was a shock for both of us, especially as these kinds of movies can be very triggering for victims of SRA. And it was. This girl didn't feel well afterwards..."

Associating the "Bavarian Illuminati" --as it was originally identified--with the ominous spectre of mind control is another sticky area, as the presumed current day existence of this secret order is not an easy thing to document, although fringe Christians and right wing extremists would have us believe that The Illuminati has been behind nearly every crucial development in the history of mankind over past few hundred years; from the French and American Revolutions to the forthcoming New World Order/One World Government takeover, not to mention the Kennedy Assassination and water fluoridation. In response, I would not totally dispute this proposition, nor do I wholeheartedly endorse it, preferring instead to straddle the fence between shadow and light, at the crossroads where facts and fancy meet. It is at this meeting point where we are briefly allowed a glimpse of the truth, while at the same time the edges of the picture blur, leaving us once again in a quandary. (Or a Philip K. Dick novel...)

According to certain legends, The Illuminati was purged in 1785 by the Bavarian Government on the grounds that it had attempted to overthrow the ruling class of Europe. Other legends suggest that The Illuminati were merely driven underground at this juncture, all the while continuing their multifarious activities under a maze of guises--including such current incarnations as the Bilderbergers, The United Nations and the Council of Foreign Relations--and exist unto this day as the Ultimate Octopus actually pulling the levers behind the scenes of world events, albeit hidden behind a cloak of subterfuge and secrecy. Other researchers contend that the Illuminati is simply a subdivision of Freemasonry, this due to the fact that the original Order of the Illuminati was formed within Masonic Lodges in Germany, by one Adam Weishaupt in 1776. According to noted Guerilla Ontologist, Robert Anton Wilson, who has spent many years attempting to unravel this mystery: "Since Masonry itself is a secret society, the Illuminati was a secret society within a secret society, a mystery inside a mystery, so to say." Arcane history lesson aside, I will henceforth use the term "Illuminati" rather liberally throughout this tract, as an easy catchall which captures under its umbrella a wide-ranging hierarchy of hidden powers; a combination of intelligence agencies and secret societies creating an Orwellian nightmare under the guise of a New World Utopia. Bear in mind that the dreaded Illuminati are never once so-named in Eyes Wide Shut. Since this is "an interpretation", I have freely chosen to exercise my poetic license, using "Illuminati" as a simple literary device, although nothing is ever quite as simple as we would like it to be. Once again, we're speaking here of the shadow realms, like those hinted at in Eyes Wide Shut, where nothing is ever for certain, nor can anything be taken for granted.

Early on in Eyes Wide Shut --while at a lavish party hosted by a rich bigwig named Ziegler (played by Sydney Pollack)--star Tom Cruise's character, Dr. Bill, is seduced by two beautiful "models" who take him by either arm, leading him toward an apparent menage a trois. When Dr. Bill asks where exactly they're taking him, the two lovelies reply: "Where the rainbow ends." When taken into context with what transpires later on in Eyes Wide Shut, this snatch of dialog appears to be an allusion to Monarch programming, as The Wizard of Oz has been long acknowledged by Monarch insiders as a common programming matrix, which uses Wizard of Oz themes and imagery as a tool to program minds. (It has been rumored that Judy Garland herself was the subject of just this sort of Monarch-styled mind control.) Later, Dr. Bill rents a cloak and mask from "Rainbow Costumes", which just happens to be located above another shop called "Under The Rainbow". In the first scene at the costume shop, the owner catches his underage daughter in a state of undress with two apparent drag queens, and understandably becomes quite upset. In a later scene, the shop owner does an about-face and appears not only to be pimping out his nubile daughter to these very same drag queens, but tries to interest Dr. Bill in her pert young bod, as well. This is all very telling, as most Wizard of Oz programming I've heard about allegedly deals with the programming of boys and girl--at a very early age--in their roles as Monarch slaves, through sexual molestation and other related trauma such as SRA, as part of pact between the parents of the abused children and their Monarch "handlers". (In many instances--it has been alleged--the parent will also perform the role of "handler". The "handler, in essence, is the "programmer", as well as a sort of go-between with the higher ups in the Monarch organization.) Whatever the case, something drastically "transformed" the costume shop owner's way of thinking, between the first and the second scenes, in a space of less than 24 hours. The inference here is that the Illuminati-styled cult that Dr. Bill stumbles upon is somehow responsible for this "trance-formation" of father to pimp and daughter to prostitute. This is part of the symbolism of Monarch, one of transformation, of caterpillar into butterfly; free-will into mental slavery. The term Monarch is deceptive in this sense, due to its identification with the Monarch butterfly, a creature of transformational beauty. This appears to be part of the deception of this programming; to delude its victims into believing they've been transformed into something magical, and full of wonder. Follow the yellow brick road. Although the "trance-formation" of the shop owner's daughter seems unrelated to later events that occur in the film, somehow these two seemingly anecdotal characters--the shop owner and daughter--have been affected by Dr. Bill's Illuminati-sex-ritual experience. The implication here is that anyone who comes within the span of Dr. Bill is, by association, caught up in a similar web of intrigue, often resulting in dire consequences.

Another MK-ULTRA/Monarch allusion is the reference to the "models" who seduce Dr. Bill at Ziegler's party, which I associate with what is known in the annals of MK-ULTRA as "Presidential models". "Presidential models" were/are allegedly used by big time entertainers and politicians as sexual playthings; mind controlled puppets programmed to perform assorted perverse acts at the bidding of their manipulative "handlers". Supposedly Marilyn Monroe was the first Monarch sex slave who achieved "celebrity" status. For those unfamiliar with the term "Presidential model", I'll refer them to The Control of Candy Jones by Donald Bain and Long John Nebel. As the story goes, Long John Nebel--a New York radio personality in the 50's-70's--discovered via hypnosis that his wife, Candy Jones, was a victim of just this sort of mind control project, one of the many MK-ULTRA mind slaves, programmed by CIA "spychiatrists" and used by high mucky muck dignitaries to perform their perverse sexual whims, among other assorted duties such as being used as drug mules and message couriers for this vast network of morally deficient power brokers. More has come to light in this regard in recent years by way of similar allegations disbursed widely across the Internet, as well as such highly controversial books as Trance Formation In America by Mark Phillips and Kathy O'Brien, wherein Ms. O'Brien relates her own troubling tales of MK-ULTRA and Monarch abuse. Once again, the tricky part is trying to untangle this web of fact vs. fiction, for a great measure of the Monarch mythos is the obvious result of contaminated stories, planted as a means of discrediting the truth, or simply due to pure delusion on the part of the believed victims For example: the current trend of shape-shifting Reptilian extraterrestrials who have entered into the mind control lexicon of late, such as one purported Monarch victim has described ex-President George Bush, among a group of other world leaders, who double as alien lizards and smack-shooting Satanists. As the late Jim Keith noted in his final book, Mass Control: "By injecting outlandish details into these stories, by linking intelligence agency mind control with extraterrestrial aliens and such, a pallor of doubt is cast upon real cases of abuse. This is the activity of 'scrambling' that Katherine Sullivan and others talk about. It is also true that traumatic abuse and conditioning confuses and disorients the victim, causing cross-referencing of mental information, and potentially adding to the nightmarish quality of many reports of this sort..."

Before the two "models" are able to lead Dr. Bill on a journey to "Where the rainbow ends", he is called to the aid of his host, Mr. Ziegler, who is upstairs, trying to revive a naked beauty O.D.-ing in his bathroom. Dr. Bill helps Ziegler revive the sultry junkie from her self-induced speedball funk. As fickle fate would have it, this naked beauty later resurfaces in the film as Dr. Bill's savoir, and is--in my estimation--another of the many Monarch sex slaves who appear throughout the story. From there the film progresses into the previously alluded meeting of a secret order akin to the Illuminati, of which Dr. Bill inadvertently gains knowledge of, and sneaks into, undercover of mask and cloak--as all the other participants are likewise bedecked--in what he soon realizes is some sort Satanic/Freemasonic sex magick rite featuring a whole host of naked hotties engaged in steamy sex scenes right out of an Aleister Crowley freak-out. When it's discovered by this Illuminati-like group that they have a spy in their fold in the form of Dr. Bill, Cruise's character is taken before the High Priest and his mask ceremoniously removed. Just when it looks like curtains for Dr. Bill, a well-proportioned lady--adorned only in mask and high-heeled shoes--steps before the assembly and offers herself up in sacrifice in exchange for Dr. Bill's life. As it turns out, this is the same woman, Mandy, that Dr. Bill rescued earlier from overdose. (Drug addiction is a common modus operandi in the control of Monarch sex slaves.) Long story short, Mandy is apparently sacrificed, although the next day newspaper reports characterize her passing as an apparent O.D. The deeper meaning here is that all Monarch sex slaves are expendable if they cross the line, and many of these victims reportedly have been "discarded" in just such a manner after they become a certain age and are no longer desirable as prostitute/sex slaves, or if they in someway break free of their programming and are considered a "risk".

During his dark night of the soul, Dr. Bill travels through the seamy underworld of his disturbed psyche, searching for sexual release, haunted by some insatiable hunger driving him toward unknown ends, along the way encountering a woman he hardly knows, who swears she's madly in love with him. Add to this collection an HIV positive prostitute, as well as the daughter of the aforementioned costume shop owner--who's apparently being pimped out by papa--and what we have is a trinity of lost souls, caught up in the grinding wheels of a powerful machine that eats people up, then spits them out in tiny, fragmented pieces. Monarch programming would explain the actions of all three: the irrational love of the woman Dr. Bill hardly knows is characteristic of a mind controlled slave programmed to love someone without truly understanding the reasons why; likewise the prostituted daughter, a common thread of Monarch programming where parents sell their children into sexual bondage and generational molestation as part of a deal made with the "Illuminati". And lastly, the common prostitute, there to do the bidding of the men who manipulate her by way of either money, drugs or violence. All of these woman could easily be Monarch victims, and even if they aren't, each is a prisoner of a system of control prevalent in our society; a system which exists on many levels, and in all strata of society, both seen and unseen. Eyes Wide Shut is a glimpse into these dark, shadow realms.

Many people unfamiliar with the subtleties of mind control will be utterly perplexed with the allegorical symbolism in Eyes Wide Shut. The characters, for the most part, appear either as detached spectators (i.e. hypnotized subjects) or obsessed sex fiends forever in search of a carnal fix. Unlike other Kubrick films--where the characters, in most cases, are more well-developed, complex characterizations--those in Eyes Wide Shut seem mere cardboard cutouts, which I think is the desired effect that Kubrick was striving for. Victims of mind control are just these sorts of automatons, stumbling through life blind to the true significance of their actions, lost in the fog of their work-a-day world, mere stringed puppets who believe they control their own destinies. The reason there appears to be no true depth to the characters in Eyes Wide Shut is that their inner depth has been buried beneath layers of mind control. What I believe Kubrick was hinting at, in Eyes Wide Shut, is that we are all mind controlled in one sense or another, sleep walking through our lives with "eyes wide shut"; "Manchurian Candidates" who kill without understanding the true motivations behind their acts. Even Nichole Kidman's character, Alice, who appears to be complicated, and seemingly multifaceted--a lady of many moods--is in reality a simple caricature who wears many involuntary masks, shedding one for no apparent rhyme or reason, and then donning another for equally vague motivations, unknown even to herself. Each mask is merely a new and different role; each mask an alter ego, with no true relation to the core personality. Ala Gurdjieff, she is a mere meat machine, sleep-walking through her life.

The choice of Cruise and Kidman in these roles is, to say the least, curious. Their emotional depth as actors--throughout their respective careers--has always appeared lacking, in my opinion. I sincerely doubt that either of them were actually perceptive enough to grasp what Kubrick was getting at with this film, which is perhaps just the sort of emotional content--or lack thereof--that the director was looking for from his characters. Eyes wide shut. This emotional complacency, for want of a better term, seems to go hand in hand with the duos involvement in Scientology, in whose members I have always perceived a certain lack of self-awareness. Call it brainwashing, or whatever you wish, this is simply on visceral observation on my part, and should not be construed as a total condemnation of Scientology. In all fairness, the Church of Scientology has long been outspoken about the abuses of MK-ULTRA, as documented often in the pages of their magazine Freedom, not to mention L. Ron Hubbard himself, who during his later years was a quite vocal critic of the CIA, and their involvement in MK-ULTRA shenanigans.

For those unfamiliar with the subtle spectre of secret societies and their peculiar practices, there will be obvious confusion as to why Dr. Bill immediately becomes a marked man just because he happened upon some seemingly harmless kinky scene with a bunch of guys and gals wearing masks, chanting meaningless mumbo-jumbo and humping one another like a pack of dogs in heat; a provocative spectacle, indeed, but certainly not enough to mark a man for death, one would presume. Well, the deeper implication here is that Dr. Bill has become not only an unwitting witness to a sex orgy of Hell Fire Club-like proportions, but more importantly, a witness to Monarch sex programming, and ostensibly a potential threat to National Security if he were to reveal these dire, dreaded secrets, that even he himself doesn't quite know what to make of.

After his close call with these evil Illuminati-type characters, the plot thickens ever more as Dr. Bill is pursued by his own inner sexual demons--through one sordid scene after another--finally discovering that his wife, Alice, has had a "dream" where she was a participant in a similar Illuminati-styled sex orgy. These memories come to Alice during a "dream", which in reality appears to be a repressed memory; a "dream" featuring a "Naval Officer" with a penetrating stare, that Alice once saw while on vacation years earlier; a "Naval Officer" who seemingly hypnotized her for a brief instant, as they passed each other in a hotel lobby one day, and since then she had been haunted by the memory of his penetrating stare, so much so that she can't get it out of her mind. Anyway, it is this "Naval Officer" who enters Alice's dream like some sort of MK-Incubus, and--after having his way with her--initiates Alice into this aforementioned Illuminati-type sex orgy-nightmare, where she gives herself up to all takers, albeit within a supposed "dream-state". Here, once again, the student of Monarch lore must exercise their poetic license, connecting the dots and placing into context this veiled allusion to the mysterious "Naval Officer" who "possessed" Alice's thoughts--in both the sleeping and waking worlds--and from there draw a parallel between the "Naval Officer" to Naval Intelligence, a branch of the Armed Forces that has long been an active participant in MK-ULTRA operations. The Naval Officer in this instance is merely symbolic of a larger hierarchy of mass mind control. On another note, a branch of Scientology--known as "Sea-Orgs"--uses naval-type uniforms in their organization, which is another chilling parallel when taken into context with Cruise and Kidman's involvement in the church. Perhaps I'm way off course here, but I feel this "coincidence" bears mentioning.

At the end of Eyes Wide Shut --as the credits rolled by--my central thought was: "Who the hell wrote this?" I don't recall the author's name now, but the credits said the screenplay was based on a book called Trauma-ville, which I indeed found to be a troubling title, as the main tool used in MK-ULTRA/Monarch mind control is what is known as "trauma based programming". According to alleged victims of this type of abuse, various types of trauma--both physical and psychological--are used to create disassociated states known as "alters", or multiple personalities. Alters are a way of splitting off the victim from their core personality, and as a means of self-defense the victims themselves use to escape from the induced trauma, by adopting another personality, or "alter"-ego who is completely unaware of the trauma experienced by the core personality. It is a psychological means of putting on a mask to hide from the awful truth of this type of abuse, and at the same time a calculated result of "trauma based programming". This explains the significance of the masks that are used in the film during the big sex orgy scene, as the Monarch victims have switched to their sex slave personalities, adopting one of their many programmed "alters". Through "trauma based programming" a whole host of alters can be purportedly created and induced; alters unknown to the core personality, such as the aforementioned sex slave personality, or "Manchurian Candidate"-type assassins like a Sirhan Sirhan, who commit murder while in an "alter"-ed state of mind, and then afterwards possess no memory of the actual event which has transpired.

Likewise, Eyes Wide Shut is a curious title for this film, for what it suggests is that information is being processed, while simultaneously the conscious mind is deep asleep, totally unaware, subliminally filing this information into the subconscious where it can be used later by the "handlers" of these mind controlled victims. This is similar to what Conspiratologist Michael Anthony Hoffman II calls the "Revelation of the Method" and "The Making Manifest Of All That Is Hidden", which is the subtle processing of humankind using these insidious tools of trance-formation, whether done individually or on a wide-scale level through television, mass media, and the movies. It is for this reason--some have hinted--that Kubrick met his fate just prior to the completion of Eyes Wide Shut: for ostensibly spilling the beans of what goes on behind the scenes in regards to secret societies and intelligence agencies who use mind control to program the masses. In this context, Kubrick may have been playing a part in ushering in the New World Order of The Illuminati, but to his own misfortune revealed "too much, too soon", thus a possible reason for his sudden passing. In Hoffman's Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare, he states that "...the Revelation of the Method has as its chief component, a clown-like, grinning mockery of the victim(s) as a show of power and macabre arrogance. When this is performed in a veiled manner accompanied by certain occult sign and symbolical words and elicits no meaningful response of opposition or resistance from the target(s), it is one of the most efficacious techniques of psychological warfare and mind-rape..."

One of the most memorable scenes from Eyes Wide Shut is when Cruise and Kidman are embracing in front of a mirror, a prelude to sex. According to Monarch researchers, Cisco Wheeler and Fritz Springmeier: " programming Monarch slaves, mirrors are used a great deal. Within the Monarch slave's mind, countless mirror images are made. The slave sees thousands of mirrors everywhere in their mind. Because Marilyn (Monroe) was so stripped of any personal identity, she decorated her house as her mind looked on the inside--full of mirrors. Although other Monarchs may have some desires to decorate with mirrors, Marilyn is the most extreme case I know of filling one's house full of mirrors..."

In this mirror scene--as Dr. Bill and Alice are engaged in an erotic embrace--Alice twice gazes into the mirror, and her reflection could be interpreted as an expression of either guilt or confusion. In Monarch programming, mirrors have been reportedly employed as a means of triggering alters and causing disassociation, which is my interpretation of this scene: Alice is engaged in what is known in Monarch programming as "switching." The supposition of Alice as mind control victim explains much of what unfolds throughout the course of the film, as her character is one possessing a great many contradictions, and inexplicable moods. At Ziegler's party--while dancing with a rich foreign aristocrat--Alice adopts the persona of an intoxicated, flighty airhead. At other times throughout the film she is smart and sophisticated, then alternately cold and cruel; at other times a caring mother, and a devoted wife. After a few hits off a joint, Alice goes on a tirade where she's becomes both jealous and judgmental of her husband, initiating a heated argument. It is telling that after a toke or two of the killer weed, Alice's mood shifts so precipitously, as drugs are another well-established tool used in Monarch programming for triggering "alters". What I'm suggesting here is that Alice is just that, a victim of Monarch programming. When--toward the end of the film--Dr. Bill's missing mask is discovered upon a pillow next to his sleeping wife, a message has been delivered, clear and simple, that the same Illuminati mind controllers hounding Dr. Bill, have all along had access to his wife, even while she sleeps, deep in the shadowy recesses of her unconscious mind. Whether their eyes are wide open or shut, there can be no escape.

"Eyes Wide Shut" missing 20+ minutes

Alex: "Let's go to Don, in Wisconsin. Don, you're on the air."

Don: "Hey, Alex, I wanna talk about conditioning and brainwashing in movies for a little bit and specifically, like Stanley Kubrick, I want to get your opinion, like whether he was an insider or he was trying to expose the situation..."

Alex: "He was a top insider. And he refused, this was confirmed even in Variety, he refused to cut 28(?) minutes... It was 28 minutes if memory serves... I know it was over 20 (...) Kubrick said this movie was gonna show you what's really going on. He had final cut, and he had an ironclad contract, he had final cut on the film where he couldn't be controlled, and he refused to cut it. Then the distributor threatened to not distribute it, and then he died mysteriously and they cut the 20-plus minutes. So yes, Kubrick, total hi-level insider, total Illuminist. Same thing with Arthur C. Clarke. I mean, you don't get any more hi-powered than this people. I believe they killed him deader than a hammer."

Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

1999/ 159 mins.

The last film by the great Stanley Kubrick. The last and the best. It may take twenty times watching it, but eventually, one sees this film for the sheer brilliance that it is. One sees the thought and meaning Stanley Kubrick put into this film. All of Kubrick's signature traits are present, but there is so much more to this film than that.

This film comes from a novel titled Traumnovelle by Arthur Schnitzler. The word "traumnovelle" means "dream novel". When looked at from many different "dream-like" perspectives, this film is given so many different dimensions and forms that one cannot help but fall in love with it.

Tom Cruise plays Bill Harford, a doctor who is happy with the stability of his life. One fateful night, though, his wife Alice (Nicole Kidman) confesses a fantasy she had one time. This sets Bill on "an erotic foray that threatens his marriage--and may even ensnare him in a lurid murder mystery" (from the DVD cover). Ultimately, there are some good lessons to be learned from this film, not only in the story, but also in how it was made. Stanley Kubrick spent 14 months filming this motion picture. He spent a couple of years before writing the project. So much could be said about this film; one little review could not possibly hold it all. This film is my second favourite motion picture of all time.

At the very beginning of the film there is a shot of Alice standing in front of a mirror wearing a black dress. She loosens it and lets it drop to the floor, just as the girls at the ritual let their black robes drop to the floor before the the high priest with the red cloak and gold mask. This is a definite parallel of shots communicating to those who know what to look for that Alice is/was a mind controlled sex slave, of the type seen at the ritual.

Alice stands in front of mirror and drops her black dress to the floor just like the robed girls at ritual drop their black cloaks to the floor before orgy begins -

Girls at ritual have dropped their black cloaks to the floor just like Alice drops her black dress at beginning of film -

One of a pair, a statue in Milton Keynes.  Exactly the same as characters in the Satanic Ritual orgy in the Kubrick film, 'Eyes Wide Shut'.

The new town of Milton Keynes, I suggest (and I'm not the only one), is a major Illuminati project. Set out like a noughts and crosses grid it is brimming with Illuminati symbolism in road plan, structure and monuments. Built on land (I am told) that once (or may still) belonged to the Russell family, The Dukes of Bedford, The Lords Tavistock, I suppose we wouldn't expect any less. The initials MK and the association with Tavistock seem unlikely to be chance when considered with the automated atmosphere permeating the town.

Figure 1 - Publicity for the film Eyes Wide Shut focused exclusively upon the fact that a married couple had been signed as the films' principal leads, while ignoring the REAL STORY, which was the fact that this film exposed the global cabal known as the Illuminati.

Figure 2 - Eyes Wide Shut has its' share of sexual titilation.

Near the beginning of the film, Dr. William Harford and his lovely wife Alice attend a Christmas party held by Victor Ziegler and his wife, Illona. The thing that attracted my attention, however, were the strange decorations that hung upon the walls. One of these decorations appeared at first to be an eight-pointed star with a ring of Saturn around its’ mid-section. This is shown in the screenshot below:

Figure 3 - A rather peculiar Christmas wreath, which is made up of three seperate occult symbols. Can you name them?

As the wreath found in the screenshot above clearly shows, it is what looks at first to be an eight-pointed star. However, upon closer inspection, there are three distinct occult symbols that make up this wreath. As I will show in the diagram below, these three visual components are as follows; the two AS ABOVE and SO BELOW symbols, coupled with a third symbol, which is known as the VESICA PISCES.

Figure 4 - Vesica Pisces and "As Above, So Below"

Upon closer inspection, however, this so-called star contains three elements of occult symbolism. If the reader examines the screenshot above closely, they will see the upward and downward arrowheads representing the as above, so below axiom of occult practitioners, which come from the Emerald Tablets of Hermes. The nature of this statement is that the macrocosmos (the Universe) unites with the microcosmos (man) and represents the influence that the heavens have on man himself. Across the mid-section, is the symbol known as the Vesica Pisces, which is a ideogram representing the vagina of the goddess, the vessel from which all human live emanates.

This is the uniting of the macrocosmos of the Universe, with the microcosmos of man himself. It is a way of saying that what is above us in the heavens is the same as what resides within us in the human body; a scientific principle that has been proven to be true all the way down to the level of quantum physics.

The plot of EWS is based on Arthur Schnitzler’s 1926 novella entitled Traumnovelle (Dream Story), and Stanley Kubrick had wanted to make this story into a film way back in 1968, when he first read the novella, while making his magnum opus 2001: A Space Odyssey. The novella wrestles with issues that are germane to today’s world, such as the issue of being spiritually asleep versus being spiritually awake. So, as the viewer watches the film, the audience is left to wonder which parts of the story are real, and which are dreams. It took Kubrick thirty years to make EWS, and throughout all those many years, there was no competing interest in making a film of Dream Story.

Kubrick, in writing the screenplay, employed many fiction devices to drive home his interpretation of the story. For example, the character name Dr. Bill is an obvious pun that should require no further explanation. It has also been said that the last name of the lead characters of Bill and Alice were taken from comments that the character of the doctor should be like a Harrison Ford type --- thus, Kubrick came up with the last name of Harford. Using Alice for the wife’s name references the character of Alice In Wonderland. Calling the wife Alice subconsciously reminds the audience of Alice’s strange trip ‘Through The Looking-Glass,’ which is exactly where we find Alice in the following screenshot. Notice in the upper right corner of the screen, that there is a painting of a sunflower, which immediately connects with the Illuminati being worshippers of the SUN.

Figure 5 - "Alice" through the eye of the looking-glass.

The underlying theme and allusion to Lewis Carroll’s books Alice In Wonderland (1865), and Through The Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There (1871) (aka – Alice Through The Looking Glass) is highly appropriate, as EWS deals with the issues surrounding reality versus the dream-world, and this metaphor could not be an accident, and had to have been inserted into the storyline by Mr. Kubrick on purpose. This is also a fitting metaphor for our times, as many people seem to be fast asleep as to the evil that is being carried out in their names, and in the names of their children, and our nation. The down the rabbit hole metaphor has been widely used in the contemporary American mass media, such as with perhaps the most infamous instance, which appeared in the 1999 film The Matrix, which also dealt with many of these same issues of reality versus dreams.

In regards to the title of this film, Eyes Wide Shut is said to be a code phrase used by members of high society that translates roughly into --- you have not seen any of my misdeeds, because your eyes are wide shut. This allows such people to run amok above and beyond all laws, and without the threat of ever being caught. We see this happen time and time again in our lives, where if one of us broke the law, we would be dealt with in a prompt manner. However, we see on the news and read in the newspapers and news magazines, where globalist figures are constantly walking away from serious crimes without so much as a slap on the wrist. This immediately calls into question, the corruption of all levels of law enforcement and the judiciary, where justice can indeed be purchased, if the price is right.

A fitting example of this was the January 8, 2006 motorcycle accident involving Arnold Schwarzenegger, who at the time of the accident, did not have a valid California motorcycle license. There is no excuse for this, especially as he has lived in California for many years. However, he did not receive any citation for driving without a license, and was let go without so much as a warning. The USA Today article that is quoted in this essay states that no citations were given in the incident; even though he was riding without a valid motorcycle license. The police officer more than likely asked him for his autograph, and not proof of his having a valid California license to operate a motorcycle.

Thus, we see that there are two sets of laws in this nation; one for the common man, and another set of laws for the ‘chosen ones’ of the globalist Illuminati cabal.

At the opening party at Victor Ziegler’s house, Alice Harford meets up with and dances with a Hungarian man. The name of this character is Sandor Szavost. This character shares his name with the creator of the Church of Satan, Anton Sandor LaVey. This would be an accurate analogy, as members of the global elite are all dedicated to either Lucifer or Satan. Their religion has them believe that both Lucifer and Satan are good, and the God of the Christians has forsaken these so-called fallen angels, and is therefore, an enemy God. This type of thinking is extremely twisted, and represents what some have called a Satanic Reversal --- evil is good, lies are truth, death is life, and darkness is light.

Figure 6 - Alice Harford with Sandor Szavost. Please note that the lighted flowers on the back wall are actually pentagrams.

Here, we have a scene in which a holiday Christmas party is played out, with much more symbolism below the surface. As Sandor Szavost attempts to hit on Alice Harford, we see that there are some attractive lighted flowers that are hung upon the back wall of the ballroom, where the partygoers are drinking and dancing. But, upon closer inspection, one finds that they are not flowers at all, but pentagrams. This is a very unusual holiday design element, and it does not match my own experience at any of the parties I had personally attended over the years, or have decorated my own home for the holidays as an adult.

The pentagram, or five-pointed star, has special meaning for those who practice magick, and other occult disciplines. It relates to the four Classical elements of; earth (Gaia), air (Aer), water (Hydor), and fire (Heile/Heat) --- and a fifth element of spirit (Idea/Hieron; a divine thing). The usual way of displaying a pentagram is with one point up, and two points down. However, those who are Satanists display this symbol upside-down, with two points upward, and one point downward, as can be seen in the women’s freemasonic organization Order of the Eastern Star. If the reader looks closely, the five letter word of F-A-T-A-L can be seen along the edges of the inner pentagonal area, as shown below:

Figure 7 - Order of the Eastern Star Inverted Pentagram Logo.

It is highly unlikely that the typical viewer of this film would know or even understand this to be true. The Order claims that FATAL stands for “fairest among thousands, altogether lovely.” Using one form of numerology, FATAL is the equivalent of the number 13, which is one of the Illuminati’s favorite numbers. For instance, in the tarot, the thirteenth card is the Death card. And, in heraldry and the symbolism of coats of arms, the number 13 is related to “death of the established order, and the beginning of a new age.”

The true reason why the number 13 and specifically the unlucky Friday the 13th is considered negative is because of the events of Friday, October 13, 1307. At dawn on that day, the Templar Knights were to be seized and arrested by the King of France, Phillippe IV. This is a story that is historically correct, but not taught in any school curriculum, because to do so would reveal the importance of the Order. After all, they were subjected to an order by the King of France! In order to draw that much ire, the group had to have been important.

Figure 8 - The Pentagram is just a five-pointed star.

The use of the pentagram goes all the way back to ancient Babylon and Greece, dating back to about 3,500 to 3,000 B.C. During this ancient time, the pentagram was a sign used by royalty, meaning that their power and influence would travel to the four corners of the earth. During medieval times, the pentagram was used as protection against evil entities, where it was worn by people, as well as placed over doors and windows, to protect the homestead. The Celts called it an endless knot, and for them, it was a symbol representing truth.

Painted on the shield of a knight; the pentagram represented the five virtues of generosity, courtesy, chastity, chivalry, and piety. The pentagram is also a Christian symbol representing the five wounds of Christ. In Pythagorean mathematics, the pentalpha, as they called it, was a symbol representing the perfection of man. The pentagram contains the sacred geometrical concept known as the Golden Mean. Perhaps most interestingly, the pentagram, with one point facing up, was a Druidic symbol for summer, and with two points up (or an inverted pentagram), symbolized winter.

The inverted pentagram used as a symbol of non-Christian belief, was introduced and first used by Eliphas Levi, an infamous priest and occultist who lived in the years 1810-1875. Levi, whose real name was Alphonse Louis Constant, was also the source of the Baphomet drawing and the Goat of Mendes glyph.

Figure 9 - Eliphas Levi's Baphomet and Goat of Mendes drawings.

The pentacle, which is a disk representing the element of earth, is also related to this symbolism, and is very important to these people. A pentacle is usually made of wood, and is one of the four major tarot suits. Since all common decks of playing cards are based upon the tarot; the pentacles suit represents and is equal to the suit of diamonds, the swords suit is equal to the suit of spades, the wands suit is equal to the suit of clubs, and the cups suit is equal to the suit of hearts.

At the Christmas party at the beginning of EWS, while his wife Alice is being hit on by Sandor Szavost, Dr. Harford is being led away by two gorgeous model types. He asks where they are leading him, to which they reply:

“To the end of the rainbow.”

Figure 10 - Dr. Harford being led “to the end of the rainbow,” wherever THAT is.

One of the young ladies then asks Dr. Harford:

“Don’t you want to go to where the rainbow ends?”

To which he replies:

“That all depends where that is.”

Here, we have a very subtle reference to mind-control. In the various books and videotaped lectures on mind-control that I possess in my personal reference library, they all refer to The Wizard of Oz as a tool used for triggering mind-control programs in the minds of its’ victims. In the 1996 book by Fritz Springmeier and former Illuminati member Cisco Wheeler The Illuminati Formula Used To Create An Undetectable Total Mind Controlled Slave, there is an entire section on how fiction is used in mind-control.

The books’ discussion includes The Wizard of Oz and Alice Through The Looking Glass, both of which are discussed in this essay. However, Springmeier and Wheeler also discuss Star Trek and Star Wars, which have been used for this purpose as well. Such mind-control was developed and perfected by the German psychologists that had infiltrated the CIA in PROJECT PAPERCLIP, and the techniques learned and developed through the MK-ULTRA program are still in use today, where they are largely implemented through the television, Hollywood feature films, and the popular culture of the nascent 21st century.

Here is a small sampling of the numerous parallels between the occult, and the story of The Wizard of Oz (books and 1939 film):

Dorothy’s three companions; the Scarecrow [brain], Tin Man [heart], and Cowardly Lion [courage], represent the mental, emotional, and physical bodies that H. P. Blavatsky wrote about in her Theosophical poem entitled There Is A Road:

“There is no danger that dauntless courage cannot conquer, [Lion]
There is no trial that spotless purity cannot pass through, [Tin Man]
There is no difficulty that strong intellect cannot surmount.” [Scarecrow]
--- H. P. Blavatsky; Collected Writings (vol. 13, pg. 219)

One other interesting bit of EWS trivia, is that the small daughter of Dr. Bill and Alice Harford, is named Helena, after Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.

For those unfamiliar with CIA mind-control programming, it is done with children beginning at a very early age, from as early as four years old. Because these children are so young, children’s stories and fairy tales are used. Among those used are The Wizard of Oz, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Grimm’s Fairy Tales, and a 1950 Harper & Row book entitled The Tall Book of Make Believe, which was written by Jane Werner and illustrated by Garth Williams. The basis of mind-control programming is to instill loyalty to the Illuminati, fear if they should ever think about leaving (as some have done), and perhaps most importantly, that they obey the orders they are given, whenever or by whom they happen to be given.

The methodology used by the high-level programmers of the Illuminati is based in trauma. This is done for two reasons; it creates a disassociative state in the victim, and this is so the programming and the codes, keys, and triggers can be more easily implemented. The second reason is because trauma creates a psychotic break, which results in multiple-personality disorder, as well as the highest level of suggestibility in the mind of the victim. Remember that I am talking about children under the age of six, when I talk about trauma-based mind-control. However, this mind-control is an ongoing process that occurs throughout the entire life of the mind-control victim.

Figure 12 - The Wizard of Oz book cover and DVD cover.

Because I am talking about The Wizard of Oz here in this essay, allow me to briefly focus on how this story and its’ film are used for mind-control programming. Both positive and negative reinforcement are used, which furthers the foundational programming. Children are first traumatized through a number of repugnant actions --- such as physical, emotional, mental, or sexual abuse. The child is taught that things are NEVER what they seem, and the behavior of the programmer (which is often the child’s parent) is deliberately mixed up, so that from one moment to the next, the child never knows what to expect; a hug, a sexual assault, or a beating. To further this programming, an individual who is known to be gregarious and charismatic, will turn into a frightfully mean person when they are home behind closed doors.

The child is taught that loyalty to the Illuminati supercedes any other responsibility, and when they perform their tasks correctly, they are lavished with praise and positive reinforcement. The child is told they are special and are one of the chosen ones, and they are told that the new world order is to help save humanity from its’ own ignorance and stupidity. These of course, are lies. They learn the truth when they are much older, but by then, the programming is laid in so thick that they feel powerless to do anything but obey the orders as they are received.

Here are some of the references to mind-control in The Wizard of Oz:

In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy’s home state of Kansas is shown in black and white, dull colors, which represent something undesirable to the subconscious mind of the children. Who wants to be a part of something dull and boring? Reality is downplayed, and make-believe is encouraged, especially with today’s realistic videogames, a few of which have been dedicated to new world order and Illuminati themes. Oz appears to be exciting, with its’ unique (for 1939) presentation in color. It is a place of adventure, and the Yellow Brick Road itself is a not-too-subtle reference to GOLD and wealth and success.

Mind-control slaves programmed under The Wizard of Oz system, are told to “always follow the yellow brick road.” The yellow brick road symbol is associated with compliance, travel, and a goal to be achieved. It is adapted to fit in with the differing circumstances of the individual. For example, if a person were in a career that required them to drive a NASCAR race car, the yellow brick road might be the track upon which the individual races. But, if that same person were a politician, the yellow brick road might be the overall agenda that needs to be gradually put into place. No matter how bleak or difficult things become, they are told to remain on that yellow brick road!

The seven-colored rainbow is used as a hypnotic device. Douglas Monroe, in his book of Druidic magic, describes the rainbow in the following manner: “The rainbow is a true sign of magic, it exists in both worlds at once!” And, what two worlds was Monroe talking about? He was talking about the physical and spiritual realms, the command of both are needed to carry out successful magical acts. Children are told that they do not have a brain, just like the Scarecrow. Perhaps they are told that they do not have a heart like the Tin Man. Some children are found to have no courage, so they are involved with the Cowardly Lion as a central theme of their programming. Once they are told that they lack something, the focus of their life becomes finding and integrating what was found to be lacking or lost.

The 1939 film The Wizard of Oz contains some interesting connections to mind-control.

Elvira Gulch is said to own half of the land in the entire county where Dorothy Gale lives with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, and her pet dog, Toto. When Elvira Gulch shows up as the Wicked Witch later on in the film, this parallels the real-life activities of those in the Illuminati, where they quite literally lead double lives. In my own experience of personally knowing people in the Illuminati, I have found that a person’s cover-story is often quite different from the real story of their behind-the-scenes life and activities. For example, a businessman in the Illuminati may be lauded by the media as a genius in business, when in reality, what created the success were the closed-ended Illuminati connections; the no-bid contracts, the preferential treatment, and the ability to successfully get the account, even while others outside of the group never get past the secretary.

Professor Marvel uses a crystal ball that he states was used by the Priests of Isis. Isis and her brother-husband Osiris, are the two primary deities of ancient Egyptian religion and folklore. Dorothy, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow must prove themselves worthy to receive the Wizard’s benevolence. The occult world is full of rituals where the candidate must prove themselves to be worthy of a special knowledge called illumination.

There are several scenes in the movie The Wizard of Oz that show transference of power through a witch giving her slippers to someone. The film also shows that Dorothy needs to have on her special ruby slippers in order to travel over the rainbow to get to Oz. When a older Illuminati witch is ready to die, a special ceremony is carried out, in which the elderly witch passes on her power to a suitable replacement. This ceremony also involves the passing on of the witch’s slippers to the up-and-coming witch who was selected as her replacement.

The costume shop that Dr. Bill Harford visits is called Rainbow Fashions. The shop below is called Under The Rainbow. This is an allusion to the power behind the power, as the rainbow is a symbol of transcendence and ascension. It was while visiting this costume shop, Rainbow Fashions, that Dr. Bill Harford empowers himself, which ultimately leads to his getting inside the ritual that was taking place behind the cloak of mystery. While the viewer never gets to see inside of the shop Under The Rainbow, it is an important symbol nonetheless.

It should also interest the viewer of this film that the building directly adjacent to the Rainbow Costume shop is a Freemason Lodge, which can only be seen with the DVD player's ZOOM feature. Stanley Kubrick was careful to bring the Masonic Lodge into the preceedings, which may be yet another reason WHY he was murdered EXACTLY 666 days before January 1, 2001 --- the first day of the year in which his most famous film takes place.

Figure 13 - The Rainbow Fashions and Under The Rainbow shops.

The MK-ULTRA mind-control slaves have reported extensive programming and conditioning based upon The Wizard of Oz, and rainbows obviously play a huge role in that story. Rainbows play a huge role in the mind-control conditioning that is based upon that story and that symbolism. L. Frank Baum (1856-1919) was himself an occultist and a member of the Theosophical Society, and this is why there is so much occult content in the fourteen Oz books, which were published between 1900 and 1920. Baum claimed that a spirit had given him the ‘magic key’ to write the first Wizard of Oz book, which was the one made into the infamous 1939 movie starring Judy Garland.

“It was pure inspiration,” Baum wrote in The Annotated Wizard of Oz. “It came to me right out of the blue. I think that sometimes the Great Author has a message to get across, and He has to use the instrument at hand. I happened to be that medium, and I believe the magic key was given to me to open the doors of sympathy and understanding, joy, peace, and happiness.”

Incidentally, in the 2002 film “Dragonfly” starring Kevin Costner, yet another rainbow plays a prominent role. After Emily, the wife of Dr. Joseph Darrow, dies in a violent bus crash, a young boy tells him that his wife wants to meet with him inside the rainbow. The dragonfly theme was artistically rendered as the cover art for the progressive rock group YES, for their House of YES CD and DVD titles, a group that writes and performs music related to spiritual ascension. The dragonfly is also featured in Ted Andrews’ wonderful book Animal Speak, where it is said to represent the ascension of the soul and deliverance of the soul to the light.

The Unexplained Masked Ball:

Of the films’ two and one-half hours, the most curious aspect are the thirty-five minutes that take place during Dr. Bill Harford’s trip to the masked ball, which is yet another pun! On the DVD, this section begins with (ch. # 13 – Sonata Café 0:52:34), which is the scene at the Sonata Café, where Bill’s old friend Nick Nightingale reveals that he plays keyboards at various locations while blindfolded. Of course, this piques Harford’s curiosity. He just has to sneak in, and with Nick’s password of Fidelio, which is the name of Beethoven’s only opera, he will be able to do exactly that.

When the symbolism behind the Nightingale is examined, the reader finds an allusion to the story itself, which had to have been inserted on purpose. There is a bird called Nightingale, which has a beautiful song. The bird sings, and one of the definitions of the word ‘sing’ involves informing the police, or acting as an informant. This is precisely what Nick does with his old medical school chum, Dr. Bill Harford. He informs him that he plays the keyboards while blindfolded, that the location is always changing, it is always in the middle of the night, and he only knows the location and password a little while before he is to play.

Additionally, the Nightingale symbolizes the connection between life and death, which is what the film turns into after Harford’s entry into the Illuminati sex-magick ritual. Harford falls under great danger, as he was discovered only minutes after he gained entrance. The song of the Nightingale was also thought to announce a death, or was the cry of help of a soul in trapped in purgatory. Nick places the two of them in great danger by his revelations of mysterious blindfolded performances in the homes of the deadly powerful global elite.

Figure 14 - Nick Nightingale plays keyboards while blindfolded.

The use of Fidelio as the password to get into the Masked Ball is an example of a literary device known as foreshadowing, a term referring to clues that provide a glimpse of what is to come. On the Wikipedia website, Fidelio is said to be a story of a woman who rescues her husband from death in a political prison. The Masked Ball is exactly that, as Harford comes to be threatened by the man in the red cloak; it should also be noted that the high-priest who carries out Illuminati black magic rituals also wears red, a color symbolizing the bloodline that is of paramount importance. Just as his situation appears rather grim, Dr. Harford is suddenly saved by a mysterious woman, who sacrifices herself at the last moment. Because the Illuminati are extremely political, this was a rescue from a political prison of Dr. Harford’s own making.

This Masked Ball segment of this film depicts an Illuminati sex-magick ritual orgy, which actually occurs behind closed doors in some of the most exclusive housing in the entire world. Those who practice ritualized sex magick draw upon the combined power of the sex act and the partners themselves. Magick spells and incantations are launched during orgasm, when the sexual power of the couple is at its’ peak. However, shown in the context of EWS itself, the men of the global elite use sex as a manner of claiming power over their sex partner, who is looked upon and treated as a sex slave of sorts. I direct the reader to the books written by Cathy O’Brien and Susan Ford (writing as Brice Taylor), whose books appear in the sources section immediately following this report.

As Dr. Bill Harford arrives at the masked ritual, he gives the password, Fidelio, which as we are told in the film, is the name of Beethoven’s only opera. He has to pass through seven people to enter what the DVD calls THE ABYSS. This is certainly interesting, as it may be symbolic of the Seven Gates of Hell --- or the seven rings that surround Dante’s Inferno --- which are themselves, symbolic of the Seven Gates of Hell. There were two men outside of the house, one man at the front door, one man in the vestibule (where Harford gives the password a second time), another man takes his cloak, one man stands at the inner door, with the seventh masked man standing directly outside of the ritual itself.

Figure 15 - The first glimpse of the Illuminati ritual.

The music that is being played during this scene is extremely creepy and was written and performed by Jocelyn Pook, and the selection was originally titled “Backwards Priests.” For this film, it was renamed “Masked Ball.” This selection can be found on the film soundtrack, as well as her album titled “Deluge” (or alternately “Flood”). It is positively haunting, and creates some unforgettable tension. The chanting is in reverse, and is of a Romanian priest giving a mass in Latin. The first voice is deep and bellicose, and is obviously the voice of a high-priest, as it invokes a seriousness that was rather disturbing upon first hearing this combined with the sights in the film itself.

The following quotes are actually Latin translated first into Italian, and then, into English.

A rough translation of the chanting is as follows:

“The High Priest bids Gloria to all apprentices . . .”

As the ritual progresses, a second reversed voice can be heard. The second voice is higher-pitched than the first, and is vibrated with a hurried cadence. This is after the hooded participants of the ritual are revealed to be beautiful young women. The rough translation of this second voice is as follows:

“. . . for our naked shepherdesses, for the compassion,
the life, the peace, the good health, the absolution,
and the control of the departed ones, and for the
forgiveness of the sins of the slaves of God, the
siblings of its Saint church . . .”

Much speculation among those who have seen this film surrounds the manner in which Dr. Harford is almost immediately discovered to an imposter. However, using a little common sense, it becomes very clear how this would be discovered. The Illuminati are a trans-generational group of insiders. If these participants performed regular rituals behind masks, they would be very likely to repeatedly use the same mask. The act of recognizing a mask that was unfamiliar would occur almost immediately, as Dr. Harford was asked to “kindly remove” his mask. If it was a new mask covering a recognizable face, the ritual would proceed, and the newly purchased mask would be noted by everyone in attendance.

Figure 16 - Dr. Harford is asked to kindly remove his mask. Incidentally, in the above screenshot, there is an Egyptian Uraeus Serpent with the two heads on the back of the chair. This relates to the Sun, and the two heads -- which face and East and West, relate to the rising and setting of the Sun.

However, because Dr. Harford did not belong, he was expelled, following a symbolic intervention by one of the young ladies who attempted to warn him of the deep trouble in which he suddenly found himself. The high-priest commands Harford to remove his mask. As Harford is told after the young woman’s symbolic intervention, there is nothing he or anyone else could do that would change her fate. The mask itself has a heavy symbolic meaning, which author Michael Tsarion describes in the following way:

“The mask is how the devilish, evil people disguise who they are.” Michael Tsarion said on the February 15, 2006 broadcast of the Jeff Rense talk-radio show. He further stated that the planet was going through something called The Mayan Age of Revealing, which is a thirteen year period from December 21, 1999 to December 21, 2012. This, he said, was a time for the bringing down of the mask, which would reveal these people for what they really are, and the Children of Light, Truth, and Justice would defeat these people, stamping them out of existence, like a virus.

Figure 17 - “When a promise has been made here, there is no turning back.”

As the high-priest explains: “When a promise has been made here, there is no turning back.”

This section ends with Dr. Harford sneaking back into his Central Park West apartment, which is (ch. # 23 – Home 1:26:20). After being exposed, Dr. Harford sneaks back home, and as he is entering his apartment, an all-seeing “Eye of Horus” can be seen briefly flickering across his back, as though he were a marked man. The all-seeing eye is the long established symbol of the illumined ones --- more commonly known as the Illuminati. At first, it looks like a shadow, but this is an impossible explanation. This is because the shadow could not fall upon his back, which was turned away from the lamp itself, which was in the hall in front of him. Simply put, shadows always fall away from the light source, but never toward it. (Ch # 23 – 1:26:41 freeze-frame)

Perhaps the oddest thing about this sequence, is the fact that it is never addressed either in the film itself, DVD packaging, plot synopsis, advertising, and the DVD interview segments with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, the two stars of the film who themselves were married during the three years it took to shoot this film in England, and who coincidentally divorced immediately after their own participation in the film.

Figure 18 - Dr. Harford faces his savior, who will give her life for his safety.

The culmination of this tense sequence occurs near the end of the film, when Harford is called back to speak with Victor Ziegler. This begins on (ch. # 33 – 2:05:09) and concludes at (ch. # 36 – 2:18:17). Interestingly, this scene is precisely 13 minutes. As it turns out, Victor Ziegler was at the ritual.

Figure 19 - Victor Ziegler announces that he was at the ritual, and saw everything.

Also, Alice wakes up to find Bill’s mask on the pillow next to her. This begs the question as to whether or not Alice was at the Masked Ball, or was her finding the mask just a discovery of her husband’s amorous secret life? Then, there is the matter of a ‘dream’ that Alice describes, where she was made love to by a nearly endless line of men whom she did not know. As she is describing this, it matches extremely closely to what her own husband witnessed at the ritual he snuck into.

Figure 20 - Alice in bed with the mask; was it only a dream, or did it really happen?

This emphasizes something that former MK-ULTRA Presidential Model mind-control slave Cathy O’Brien often speaks about in her 1995 book Trance Formation of America:

“There is nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide.”

However, all this intrigue is completely ignored by everyone associated with this film, preferring instead, to emphasize the sexual aspects of this DREAM STORY. This is a shame, as I would have been very keen to hear what Mr. Kubrick would have said about this film, such as the reason why he made the choice to concentrate on the Illuminati aspect of the story, while largely downplaying the sexual exploits of the films’ central characters, Bill and Alice Harford.

The Untimely Death of Stanley Kubrick:

When one hears the name of legendary film director Stanley Kubrick, the first thing that comes to mind is the exquisite 2001: A Space Odyssey. This was the first major Hollywood film that showed the exploration of space in a believable manner. Because of this, along with a great story written by Arthur C. Clarke, 2001 was a smash hit throughout the world.

Only four days after Kubrick turned in the final cut of EWS to Warner Brothers, he was ‘found’ dead by his wife. He had no heart trouble, and wasn’t ill before his sudden and shockingly unexpected death. Perhaps a clue into the nature of his death is the fact that it occurred precisely 666 days prior to the first day of the year in which his most famous film occurs --- 2001: A Space Odyssey. Everyone was shocked by his death, and this group includes all who were working on EWS, and his family, as well. Even though the official report was that he died of a heart attack, his wife did not accept the explanation. Stanley had not been ill, or even in seemingly bad health.

However, according to William Cooper, author of the book BEHOLD A PALE HORSE, and the forty-two hour series on the Illuminati and their Babylon mystery religion entitled MYSTERY BABYLON, stated during the second broadcast of MYSTERY BABYLON, that Stanley Kubrick was himself an initiate of the Mysteries. This helps to explain the films' unexplicable aspects, such as the unexplained MASKED BALL portion of the film, and his shockingly unexpected death, only four days after he turned in the final print of EWS to Warner Brothers.

Not only does this film contain some inexplicable symbology, but in making this film, director Stanley Kubrick may have made the fatal mistake of showing too much truth concerning a group of self-appointed global elite world rulers known as the Illuminati. While it may truly be coincidence, but, there were many peculiar circumstances surrounding the death of Stanley Kubrick --- who was known to be in perfect health just one day prior.

When one considers the very real possibility that these 666 days represent Mr. Kubrick being punished for the crime of revealing too much during the two and a half hours of Eyes Wide Shut --- then his sudden death becomes immediately understandable. There are ways of inducing heart attacks while leaving behind no trace of the crime itself. In the Sources section at the end of this essay, the reader can find a link to my own August 16, 2005 investigative piece How The Globalists Create Heart Attacks, which describes some of the many ways in which someone could be murdered by what looks to be a normal heart attack, without being detected.

Stanley Kubrick – By The Numbers:

    * Date of Birth = 07/26/1928

    * EWS Final Print Delivery = 03/03/1999

    * Date of Death = 03/07/1999

    * 2001: A Space Odyssey = 01/01/2001

    * Number of days between Kubrick’s death and the year of 2001 = 666!

At the film’s climax, Dr. Bill Harford reads in the New York Post about how a former Miss America contestant had suffered a drug overdose early in the predawn hours of the very same night he snuck into the ritual. The headline on the front page of that newspaper reads LUCKY TO BE ALIVE.

Also, in the newly constructed English suburban town of Milton Keynes, which is nestled in the Chiltern Hills west of London, there are a pair of statues that feature one of the masks from this film. An identical pair of these statues are down the road a bit from the Waitrose Supermarket in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England, UK. The photo below shows this statue juxtaposed with the same mask as seen in the film. Incidentally, the largest landowners in Buckinghamshire, where these EWS statues can be found, are the Rothschild family, one of the 13 Illuminati bloodlines that appear to control the direction of the entire planet.

Figure 21 - EWS Statues and same mask from film (statue photos by: Ellis C. Taylor and Mike Dodd)

Caped figures wearing one of the masks from EWS were seen in an IBM television commercial shown on television during 2003, where a distressed business executive is relentlessly chased by “tough customers.” These masks are shown immediately below, where the IBM commercial is shown in the center, flanked by two shots of this same mask from the film, which of course, is all one big coincidence, I am sure. The name of this advertising campaign was entitled Dreams, which ties in to the themes of EWS. The name of this specific advertisement was entitled Mob, which carries its’ own connotations.

Figure 22 - 2003 IBM TV advertisement surrounded by EWS masks.

In a 2003 television commercial for IBM, an agitated corporate CEO is shown recalling a recent dream with his therapist:

CEO – “I’m being chased.”

Therapist – “By whom?”

CEO – “I don’t know – they’re, they’re, tough customers.”

Therapist – “Customers? What do they want?”

CEO - “Everything. Now.”

This is saying that once someone gets into business with this mob of tough customers, they want everything, and they want it right now. There is no refusing these people, and those who do, suffer perils greater than the bad dreams this corporate CEO is sharing with his therapist. I know about this personally, as I have dealt with some of the tough customers of my local area. These people do not screw around, and are quick to drop a formerly trusted client, once they have decided that they are finished getting whatever it is they want.

The day after the ritual, Dr. Harford is foolish enough to go back to the residence, where he is immediately picked up on the security camera. A moment later, a man drives up to the gate, gets out, and hands the doctor an envelope with his name on the front. Inside, was the following message, clearly a warning to stay out of their business.

Figure 23 - Dr. Harford's second warning.

These people with whom Dr. Harford gets mixed-up are at their core, cowards who hide behind their money, security forces, and threats. They FEAR the truth, and all they know are lies, obfuscation, and semantical gymnastics. In the revelatory scene with Victor Ziegler, Harford is told that he was caught because of three reasons; first, he took a taxi to the ritual, while everyone else arrived in limousines. Secondly, a receipt from the costume shop with his name and address upon it was found in his coat pocket. Third, he wore an unfamiliar mask, which immediately identified him as an imposter. Because the Illuminati are such a closed group, it would be rather quickly that someone like Harford would be quickly identified as not belonging.

The Intervention and the Death:

Just as the man in the red cloak is ready to mete out the appropriate punishment to Dr. Harford, a rather dramatic plea is heard echoing throughout the halls. On a balcony, a masked and barely clothed woman cries out for Dr. Harford’s salvation. Essentially, she offers to take his place, to receive whatever punishment he would have gotten. The red cloaked man asks her if she understands what she is asking, to which she replies that she does understand and is ready to accept whatever punishment that would have been given to Dr. Harford.

During the final revelatory scene between Ziegler and Harford, Ziegler is given a newspaper clipping of a story involving the death of a former Miss New York contestant, by a drug overdose. Amanda Curran, 30, was found dead after she was unable to be reached by telephone. Ziegler’s response was a dispassionate claim that “people die all the time,” and downplayed any concern that what really took place was a homicide, and not an accidental drug overdose, as reported by the newspaper.

Figure 24 - Here, Dr. Harford displays an Illuminati hand-neck sign.

Figure 24a - Here, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan makes the same hand sign on the September 18, 2007 edition of THE DAILY SHOW.

Also curious about this film is the highly unusual and physically awkward contortion, as shown immediately above. This is representative of one type of Illuminati symbolism, which is shown and discussed in chapter fifteen of Texe Marrs’ Codex Magica, pgs. 295-305, an authoritative book on Illuminati signs and symbols.

As Marrs himself points out on pgs. 296-297 of Codex Magica:

“A number of dictionaries of symbols state that the hand placed on the neck signifies sacrifice. Now, sacrifice can have at least two meanings --- one, the continuing threat of the penalties to be applied to punish those adepts and initiates who so impertinently reveal the secrets of the Order; and two, the willingness of the individual performing the sign to sacrifice himself for the good of the Order, or for the good of the cause or Great Work of the Illuminati.”

Take a good close look at the screenshot of Dr. Harford holding the palm of his hand to his cheek. Has the reader ever seen anything like this in another film? How about seeing this in one of the many films that Tom Cruise Mapother IV himself has done? How about in any other film, by any other actor? I have never seen this gesture or hand sign in any of Mr. Mapother’s other films, and I have to assume that it was inserted into this film on purpose, and this is because the context is correct. If this hand over the throat hand sign refers to a sacrifice, this is appropriate, because that is what Ziegler and Harford are discussing, the young woman’s life having been sacrificed for Harford’s safety. There is a second significance to this sacrifice, as Dr. Harford has sacrificed his innocence for the forbidden knowledge that lies beyond the locked doors of Illuminati and blindfolded eyes of Nick Nightingale.

As the dream story draws to a close, the viewer is left wondering just exactly has gone on in this film. Fantasy has been juxtaposed with reality, and the blurring between both worlds remains uncertain. The viewer is left wondering about the significance of the mask laying upon the pillow, as Alice lay sleeping beside it. Likewise, the viewer is left wondering if the events truly happened, or if they were imagined.

As filmmaker Richard Linklater, who hails from Austin, Texas USA, asked in his 2001 film Waking Life:

“Are we sleep-walking through our waking state, or wake-walking through our dreams?”

This appears to be a valid question to ask, especially given the Illuminati’s propensity to inject heavy doses of fantasy to keep as many people asleep as they can, sleeping as they do, with their eyes wide shut.

That's a link to the script for Eyes Wide Shut.  I found screenplays for all the movies on the Kubrick forum and will post them, but I'm not sure if they're shooting scripts or post-production scripts.  Shooting scripts can be very different from the finished movie, after edits are made.

If you're not interrupted, it takes about the same length of time to read a screenplay as it does to watch the movie onscreen.

Very interesting read. Haven't seen this movie since 2001 [I was what...13?] but I knew there was more to this movie then the sex scenes [why all the other boys were watching the movies for].

I just found out that the city of Reston, Virginia is patterned (urban design) after Milton Keynes.  I sent the following email to the folks in Milton Keynes ( ):

We're planning to take a tour of Illuminati cities this summer and are interested in visiting Milton Keynes. We live in the U.S., and so far our itinerary includes stops in the U.S. cities of Memphis, Tennessee, Reston, Virginia, and of course Washington D.C. From Washington we'll cross to England and be spending time in London visiting various Illuminati sites.

The Illuminati urban design of Reston, Virginia was patterned on that of Milton Keynes, and we are keen (pardon the pun) to visit your fair town.  I cannot find any information on the internet about Illuminati tours and such in Milton Keynes, so could you please tell me what you have to offer in that area?  Do you have tours of Illuminati sites or lectures by local experts?

Please let me know.  I appreciate your time.

But I will say this:
the "masquerade ball" is almost always symbolism for the Illuminati.

Here's scenes from Batman Returns

But the reason for the masks is not as obvious as you may think.

Just 2 cents: next time skip the satanic ritual scene.

My friend had many nightmares after watching something like this.

An in depth analysis of
Stanley Kubrick’s
© by Rob Ager 2007 (text last updated 24/10/07)

EWS operates on a completely unconventional form of narrative, which upon first viewing virtually always confuses. Like 2001: A Space Odyssey, it is designed to psychologically include the viewer within the film content whilst also including itself in the viewers own reality. In 2001 the rectangular black Monolith doubled up as an unconscious representation of the actual cinema screen (rotated 90degrees), thus sucking the audience into the film narrative so that we were symbolically pulled along the same journey as the apes and astronauts. As we shall discover here, EWS uses a similar form of hypnotic trickery.

Dream logic

The foremost unconventional story device used in EWS is dream logic - the simplest clue being that the film is loosely based upon a book called Traumnovelle, which translates as Dream Story. And this is exactly what we get while watching EWS – a story that combines the psychological traits of both dreams and reality … of being simultaneously asleep and awake … Eyes Wide Shut.

In dream logic characters or locations can take on more than one physical appearance, seemingly insignificant dialogue can carry hidden messages, thoughts and emotions can repeat themselves in transformational loops and the smallest sensory details can contain the most powerful meanings. All of these phenomena are at work in EWS.

Fractal logic

For added hypnotic effect the story uses a sort of fractal logic – or dreams that are repeated within dreams.

The clearest example of this is when Bill Harford returns home from the Somerton Mansion orgy. His wife awakens and describes a nightmare in which she also took part in an orgy. So this ritualistic sex fest was operating on at least two logical levels – Bill’s “reality” and Alice’s dream.

Another example of fractal logic is the jealousy crisis that Bill experiences after his wife confesses prior sexual fantasies about a naval officer. She did not act upon these fantasies, yet Bill’s intense reaction causes him to go on the hunt for sexual encounters with other women. Again Alice’s fantasies are merged with Bill’s “reality”.

More fractal logic can be found musically. The opening piece of music comes across as part of the score, but when Bill switches off the stereo in his bedroom we find that this music was actually part of the film content. This happens again in Dominos bedroom (he switches off the musical “score” before answering his mobile) and again when Bill witnesses the Somerton ritual – the music is actually his friend Nick playing.

The sets of the film are also fractal and dream like, with their intense colours and “simulated natural lighting”. Kubrick apparently created a new film processing technique to enrich the colours of the footage. Combined with the onslaught of coloured Xmas light props, this colour enrichment gives EWS an almost psychedelic visual style. And this “rainbow” coloured reality is mirrored in the assorted paintings that adorn the films sets. Incidentally these were painted by Kubrick’s wife Christiane.

In many instances the actual content of these artwork props are mimicking aspects of Bill’s and Alice’s reality. In Ziegler’s bathroom where Mandy lays OD’ing on a blood red sofa we see a large painting up on the wall, which is depicting an identically posed woman sprawled on a bed with blood red sheets. A couple of scenes later we see Alice laying almost naked on the blood red sheets of her bed, smoking a joint with her husband – naked woman, drugs, blood red sheets, with a bathroom in the back of the shot. The drug induced woman motif now exists in at least three contexts.

This kind of fractal logic in EWS also extends into the audiences “reality”. Cruise and Kidman play a married couple, which at the time of production was mirrored by their marriage in the real world. And this was blatantly depicted in the films marketing campaign. The main poster showed the infamous couple reflected in a silver-framed mirror - the same mirror in which they are seen engaging in foreplay after leaving the Ziegler party. This was art and reality in deliberate reflection of one another.

The overall experience of watching EWS is designed to act as a metaphorical mirror for audiences to sit and “reflect” upon their own reality. Consider this. Tom Cruise’s character spends much of the film seeking out sexual gratification … only to find repeated disappointment … during which he makes a terrifying discovery about the social hierarchy that he lives in. This is the exact same journey that audiences had in viewing the film. They went into cinemas expecting to feast their eyes on raunchy sex scenes … only to find repeated disappointment … during which they made a terrifying discovery about the social hierarchy they live in. So the widely believed idea that EWS was badly marketed is false. The marketing drew the attention of millions of people on the promise of sexual fantasy, but what we got was Kubrick ingeniously using the cinema screen as a symbolic mirror to show us a reflection of how perverted and decadent we have become as an entire society.

As already mentioned, the various paintings that appear throughout the movie are “reflecting” Bill and Alice’s reality. In a symbolic sense these are not paintings at all – they are painted mirrors. One of the books visible on Dominos shelf is even called Shadows On The Mirror.

Now look at the paintings on the sets of the Somerton orgy scene and in the ballroom of Zieglers party. Kubrick seems to have purposefully divided the painting props of EWS into rainbow coloured mirror metaphors on some sets and European nobility portraits in others. So what is the message here?

Well we already know that upper class European nobility types such as Sandor Szavost are in attendance at Zieglars party, but at the Somerton mansion we are presented with a crowd of anonymous masked people to puzzle over. Now considering Stanley Kubrick’s career-long distrust of wealthy and political establishments, which he took painstaking efforts to encrypt in his films, the artwork doubling up as mirrors concept could provide a direct answer as to the identities of the orgy participants. Notice how there are very few actual mirror props at Somerton. The mirrors are there, but their content is presented in painting form. The portraits are symbolic mirror images of those in attendance, unmasked and undisguised. Even as Victor Ziegler circles his pool table refusing to reveal the names of his orgy associates, we can see their portraits up on his walls. Talk about spelling it out. Ever the controversial risk taker, Kubrick was having a direct stab at nobility and right or wrong, he viewed them as decadent.

Many interpretations of EWS have taken the orgy scene as literal, as if Kubrick was announcing that these kinds of orgies actually happen in the very way that we see them at Somerton. This is possible and if that is your area of interest then you will find plenty of other reviews exploring those ideas. But my interpretation is that this ritualized orgy is a metaphor for moral decadence in high society.

The two parties

The two upper class parties of this film are actually mirrored reflections of each other. At the Zieglar party we are hypnotized by visual glamour and surface sophistication. And at Somerton these illusions are stripped away leaving the underlying greed and decadence on display.

The characters who are openly verified as having been present at Somerton are Bill Harford, Victor Ziegler, Nick Nightingale and the prostitute Mandy, all of whom were also in attendance at Zieglers party. So an important question is, was anybody else from the Ziegler party also at the orgy? Let’s take a closer look.

The two women who tried to seduce Bill at the Ziegler party were models and we learn from the newspaper article about Mandy’s death that she also was a model. So it is not unreasonable to assume that all of these models were present at both parties. The two models’ dialogue with Bill about taking him to “where the rainbow ends” is a metaphoric link to both Milich’s store “rainbow costumes” and to the Somerton mansion. The rainbow literally ends at Somerton in that this is the first indoor set of the movie that is not decorated with coloured Xmas lights. It is a revisiting of the Ziegler party, but stripped of the illusions and pretence.

As for the Dracula-esque Sandor Szavost, who tried to seduce Alice at the Ziegler party, we can imagine he would have a whale of a time at the orgy and he certainly presented as wealthy and influential enough. His dialogue offers some very nice clues. He asks Alice if she has seen Victor’s collection of renaissance bronzes and as it turns out the Somerton mansion is virtually a museum of them (the bronze statues with lamps on top). He also tells Alice “one of the charms of marriage is that it makes deception a necessity for both parties.” Note the double speak there “…deception a necessity for … both parties” (the two parties being Ziegler’s and Somerton). We can safely guess he was at the orgy.

Alice, while not being at the orgy in conventional terms, is definitely there metaphorically. She has a dream of being at an orgy that is very similar to Bill’s experience at Somerton. Also the password “Fidelio” is a Beethoven opera about a woman who rescues her husband from death in a political prison. Like in the story of Fidelio, Harford is saved at Somerton by the self sacrifice of a mysterious woman. So if we take into account the connection between Alice and Mandy depicted in the painting on Zieglers bathroom wall, then the dream logic reveals itself. The woman who saves Bill is a combination of Mandy and his own wife Alice. In fact neither Nicole Kidman nor the actress who played Mandy are credited as playing the woman who helps Bill escape. Kubrick used a completely different actress all together. She is a psychological synthesis of Alice and Mandy.

Also included in this character synthesis is the prostitute Domino who picked Bill up on a street corner. Her name itself is a giveaway. The word Domino originally referred to the black hooded cloaks worn by 17th century priests and it later became a name for certain types of Venetian masks. Domino cloaks were also worn by women as mourning veils and the word stems from the latin word Dominus, which means “lord” or “master”. This all links up with what we witness at Somerton. And what do we see hanging on the wall in Dominos bedroom? Masks of course.

For yet another clue as to Dominos symbolic presence at the orgy look at the beak-like mask of the man who takes away the female after she redeems Bill. These masks were worn by plague doctors centuries ago and the beaks were stuffed with herbs to purify the air breathed by the wearer. So why the disease metaphor? Because Domino, as we soon find out, is HIV positive. So we have three female characters, Domino, Mandy and Alice, symbolically rolled into one.

For further evidence of Alice’s symbolic presence at the orgy compare the following two shots. As Bill and Alice enter the Ziegler party they walk hand in hand along a hallway which has mirrors and a section of black and white tiled floor. Another couple are following behind them. The camera pans left with Bill and Alice until we see a stairway in the backdrop. We can see couples wandering upstairs. The Zieglers and Harfords greet each other and exchange kisses then Victor comments on how beautiful Alice looks.

Now we have the following almost mirror image shot at Somerton, minus the pretence. Bill and a naked woman hold hands as they walk along a hallway with mirrors and a section of black and white tiled floor, again with a couple following behind them. The camera backs up with Bill and his partner as they veer to our left. Then the angle changes to where it would be if it had panned left in the first place. Just like in the Ziegler shot we see a stairway in the background. A mysterious man steps in and takes the naked woman away from Bill and up the stairs.

We already know what is happening upstairs from what we saw in Zieglers party – sex, drugs, prostitution and probably wife swapping. And remember the question Alice asks Bill as they danced in the ballroom, “Why do you think Victor invites us to these things every year?” Her question is answered as soon as she and Bill wander away from each other. They are both sexually propositioned. So on a symbolic level Alice is present at the orgy and the masked men’s motives of sexually exploiting her are plain to see.

At Zieglers party women are hypnotized by the charm and social status of men like Sandor. At Somerton their status as mere sex objects is made clear by their nakedness and ritualized subservience.

At Zieglers people greet each other with false smiles, false kisses and false personas. At Somerton their false personas take on the physical form of masks, which of course cancels out smiles and reveals their kisses as ritualized gestures devoid of intimacy. The masks themselves are the kind used in Venetian masquerade balls, which have historically been a high society pastime.

Now if we take another look at the Rainbow Costume shop we find some interesting features. The mannequins are framed on the back wall by a shower of white Xmas lights just like the ones seen glittering in the backdrops of Zieglers party. The floor is carpeted by a blood red felt material just like the red carpet entrance at Somerton. As Bill enters and looks around Milich points to the figures and says “looks like life huh?” This set is acting as a transitional piece that visually combines elements from both party scenes.

We even find a drug-induced mini-orgy going on at Milich’s. His daughter whispers in Bill’s ear and, if the subtitles are accurate, says “You should wear a cloak lined with Ermine”. Ermine is an expensive type of fur traditionally worn by … take a guess … European nobility. And of course nobility love their red carpets.

The process of awakening

Virtually everything that I have so far described about EWS has an overall theme of awakening, of stripping away veils of illusion to reveal underlying truths, no matter how ugly those truths may be. To this effect EWS repeats certain ideas in transformational loops. So let’s take a sequential look at the overall story with this in mind.

On first glance of the films opening shot we see an attractive woman getting naked, but attach very little meaning to it. Look at the shot again, this time bearing in mind the concepts of dream logic and fractal logic. We see mirrors, which are a key concept throughout the entire film. We see red curtains, a lamp and pillars – features that repeat not only throughout the entire Harford residence, but also at the Somerton mansion. We also see a set of tennis rackets. Now here’s something more interesting. Alice is not wearing any underwear and after she drops her black gown to the floor she is left wearing nothing but black high heels. Where else do we see naked women in black high heels dropping their black gowns to the floor? At the Somerton ritual of course. This shot alone reveals Alice as being symbolically linked to the ritual.

We cut to the films title caption EYES WIDE SHUT and then after a brief night shot of a city street we see Bill stood in the same bedroom location. The angle is slightly different and this time we can see book shelves, another feature that repeats throughout both the Harford residence and Somerton mansion. The shoes are still under the window, but this time the lamp is gone and a red carpet has suddenly appeared in the middle of the floor. In the corner is an upright black object, perhaps a golf bag, in place of the tennis rackets. There are more of these blatant continuity errors scattered about the film, which are not typical of the perfectionist Kubrick. They could be deliberate clues that we are watching a dream story.

Bill is unable to find his wallet in his introductory shot and when Alice asks him how she looks he replies “beautiful”. She tells him he’s not even looking. Once in the hall he asks her what the babysitters name is, even though Alice just said her name “Roz” in the bathroom. We have already established that Bill neither sees nor listens as he stumbles through life.

We next get a look around the Harford apartment as they say goodnight to their daughter on their way out. We see more lamps, pillars and red carpets, but another couple of features that are familiar to Somerton are globe shaped light fittings, tall green plants and red couches. The reasons for these visual similarities with Somerton will become apparent later.

Next we have the Ziegler party sequence, which we’ve already explored in some detail. One feature I neglected to mention was the hypnotic star shaped decorations on the walls. These are unusual and have been interpreted by reviewers as everything from secret society symbols to representations of the heavens, though they equally could just be giant snow flakes. Knowing Kubrick they are probably intended to carry several meanings.

After Bill points out his old medical school buddy playing Piano he seems to take pride in telling Alice “He’s not a doctor. He dropped out.” Bill wants to say “hello” to Nick, but Alice is disinterested. She heads off to the bathroom, necking another drink along the way then waits for Bill at the bar.

Now we have Both Bill and Alice being sexually approached by strangers. We don’t actually find out if Bill was going to take up the models offer because he is called away to deal with the overdosed prostitute predicament in Ziegler’s bathroom. Ziegler, as we have seen, is married and Sandor attempts to persuade Alice to disregard her marriage. So this establishes infidelity as the norm at this glamour coated event.

After Bill attends to Mandy and she begins to recover from her overdose, we get a glimpse of Ziegler’s true nature. He can’t wait to get Mandy out of his home and is more concerned about protecting his reputation.

Meanwhile in the ballroom, despite being drunk, Alice resists the charm of Sandor and knocks him back. We then cut to an important shot. Bill approaches Alice in their bedroom. They are both naked and reflected in a mirror – the same mirror seen on the marketing poster. Alice looks uncomfortably at what she sees in the mirror and the shot fades to black. Something is bothering her.

Now we are presented with a series of shots that depict the daily routine of the Harford family. Bill orders his assistant to bring him coffee as soon as he walks in his office – later we see a painting behind his desk depicting several cups of coffee. Once again this is art reflecting his reality. Another shot shows Bill doing an examination on a naked breasted patient, which is also later depicted in a painting on Bill’s office wall. We next see Alice in her blue gown grooming their daughter Helena who is dressed in red. This blue and red colour combination is repeated many times as the film progresses, the most prominent being the red cloaked conductor of the Somerton rituals who sits upon his throne flanked by two blue cloaked figures. In this scene we also have a terrified Bill Harford stood on a red carpet, bathed in blue light. I don’t have an explanation for the significance of this repeated blue red colour scheme, but it is there. (Update: I believe the recurring colour combinations in EWS are basically used to make certain locations and scenes parallel each other. EG. The blue lighting that shines down upon Bill as he is threatened is repeated when Ziegler places his hands on Bill's shoulders in the pool room .)

Going back to the daily routine montage, Alice and Helena groom themselves some more in the bathroom and proceed to wrap Xmas presents, but once Bill is home and sat in the living room he refuses to help Alice wrap the remaining ones.

Now we come to another important shot. Alice looks in the bathroom mirror. She is tired and again is looking at herself as if something is bothering her. Out of the cabinet she takes the “band-aid” box, which is where their cannabis is stashed. She closes the cabinet and considers herself again. What is she thinking? Well considering the argument she is about to have with her husband, my guess is that she is questioning her role in the marriage. Notice that the apartment is immaculate throughout the movie, yet there is no maid. Given Bill’s self preoccupation perhaps it is appropriate that we don’t actually get to see Alice doing any of the cleaning.

Now comes the event that sets the story in perpetual motion. Stoned out of her mind, Alice unleashes a tirade of awkward questions. Alice is dropping the veil of secrecy in their relationship and she demands that Bill does the same. Bill instead tries to maintain the illusions of marital bliss by responding with a tirade of lies, many of which he actually seems convinced of. When asked where he disappeared to in the party he tells her that Ziegler wasn’t feeling too well and that he went to attend to him. This is his first lie. She asks if he believes a man would only talk to her to try and have sex with her. He replies “I don’t think it’s quite that black and white …” his second lie. He has actually been trying to seduce her himself for the last few minutes and note that he is wearing black underwear and she is wearing white. This “not quite black and white” lie is thrown back in Bill’s face as he is later tormented by black and white thoughts of his wife having sex with another man.

During the bedroom argument Bill’s pathetic pleas of innocence continue and he even spouts the line “I would never lie to you or hurt you”. He has already lied to her repeatedly for nearly five minutes. Alice then puts forward the contention that sexual fantasies are occurring during Bill’s examinations of his female patient’s breasts and he responds with more lies. Remember that in Bill’s office we see paintings depicting coffee mugs and a naked breasted woman? In addition to this, on the wall opposite his desk, is a picture of a naked couple making love on a chair. Sexual fantasies do exist in his office.

Now comes the bombshell. Sitting beneath the window with her back against a peculiar “black and white” patterned patch of wall paper, Alice reveals her previous fantasies of having sex with a naval officer. (Update: the black and white patch behind Alice is a radiator grill commonly found in New York apartments) Bill’s lie that he is not the jealous type is scattered to the winds and this is where he begins his long and painful awakening. From here on the story is part conventional narrative and partly a manifestation of Bill and Alice’s awakening process. Remember that he is also stoned at this point.

Bill next visits Marion, the daughter of his deceased client Lou Nathanson. He is let into the apartment by a maid who he calls “Rosa”, remember that the babysitter at the Harford’s was called “Roz”. Marion reveals that she has had intense fantasies about Bill and wants to give up everything, including her fiancé, to be with him. This is a repetition of Alice’s fantasy about giving up everything to be with the naval officer. But this time around Bill is actually playing the role previously inhabited by the naval officer. When Marion’s boyfriend Carl enters the room, we see that Carl and Marion are almost a carbon copy of Bill and Alice. In true dream logic fashion, Bill is mentally exploring the dynamics of his relationship with Alice, but in a third person perspective. Perhaps he is attempting to restore his damaged ego by fantasizing about being the naval officer.

In the next scene Bill walks the streets and is insulted by a group of abusive men, who call him a homosexual. This is likely a manifestation of his feelings of lost masculinity. He is then approached and propositioned by a prostitute, Domino, and goes into her apartment. Her charming demeanour gives the experience away as a sort of unrealistic fantasy on Bill’s part, though the poverty stricken messy apartment and her statement “maid’s day off” could be part of Bill’s emerging awareness of how lucky he is both financially and in terms of his wife’s maintenance of the home. The phone call he receives from his wife as he kisses Domino is undoubtedly a manifestation of his guilt at the prospect of cheating on her. Unable to follow the experience through, he pays Domino anyway, if only to secure her admiration, then leaves.

Now Bill Wanders to the Sonata Café. On his way in a sign reads "all exits are final" and another reads "the customer is always wrong". These statements are true for Bill in that the cafe is closed next time he visits and he wastes his money endlessly in the pursuit of sexual gratification. The reason he goes to the cafe at this point is most likely to mend his ego by hanging out with a man who he obviously perceives as lower down the social ladder. This doesn’t quite work though. Bill finds out Nick is happily married with four children, but he also finds out about the Somerton party, which according to Nick is packed with beautiful women. He acquires the password and finds out that he needs a cloak and mask to get in. In Bill’s dream logic he is attempting to restore his ego by revisiting his flattering experience with the models at the Ziegler party.

So off he goes to the Rainbow Costumes store. Now here is another blatant continuity error designed to give away the dream elements of the story. Reflected in the window as Milich approaches Bill and also seen behind Bill across the street in the reverse shot, is the Sonata café, which Bill has only just left. So why did he arrive in a taxi? Perhaps he was ripped off by the driver, who simply drove him in circles. Poor Bill just can’t read the signs. Everything Bill does on this night seems to cost him a small fortune so maybe he is beginning to realise the all powerful controlling force of money.

The stores symbolic link between the Ziegler party and Somerton orgy has already been noted, but the presentation of Milich’s daughter as a sex object is very interesting. This scene could be depicting Bill’s fear that his daughter will grow up to be seen as a sex object, just like his wife. In her white underwear and drug-induced pose Milich’s daughter looks like a younger version of Alice (who we saw stoned and posing in white underwear in the Harford bedroom). When we see the daughter again in the second half of the film she has a vacant expression and looks strangely like a Japanese doll. It’s also significant that the two Japanese men were already acquainted with Milich, just as Bill’s own so-called friend Ziegler may have had sexual agendas regarding his wife. Yet another example of EWS mirroring reality is that the costume shop owner looks very much like Guerrino Lovato, who designed all of the films masks during production.

So off bill goes to the Somerton mansion, still plagued by black and white thoughts of his wife with another man. Unlike the Ziegler party, the mansion is very difficult to gain entrance too. This is Bill’s increasing awareness of his true social status, which is much further down the ladder than he thought. The complete lack of Xmas decorations, even on the small pine trees outside the entrance, carries several meanings. It indicates that Bill is no longer seeing the tinsel wrapped illusions he saw at the Ziegler party and is thus awakening to the decadent horror of the upper class social circles that he aspires to. It is also possible that Kubrick was implying an occultist element to the ritual proceedings. Why else would they be engaging in such sordid activities, while everybody else is surrounded by Xmas decorations and celebrating the festive season?

Bill is unfamiliar with the Somerton rituals. He stands in the wrong place as he watches the choreographed proceedings, and draws the attention of a couple on the balcony. The male figure acknowledges him. Could this be Ziegler and his wife? It probably is. Note the sad expression and tear like markings on her mask. In fact the concept of female prostitutes in this scene could be Kubrick’s uncompromising revelation that those who marry for money are forever enslaved.

There are some other aspects of this ritual that do not fit as manifestations of Bill’s own psyche. The décor and music of the mansion seems to be a combination of ideas from different cultures and religions. The smoking incense ball is called a Thurible and is used in various religions, as well as in black magic rituals. The anti-clockwise movements of the priest, who is listed in the credits as Red Cloak, along with anti-clockwise camera movements, could also tie in to black magic. At one point the ceremony participants, including Red Cloak himself, bow down as if they are worshipping a deity.

The characters of EWS definitely seem to be a global crowd as well, Ziegler is an American but his name is German, Sandor was Hungarian, Milich was French and the men caught with his daughter were Japanese, and of course the leader of the ceremony, Red Cloak, is English. Nick Nightingale revealed in the Sonata café that the parties are in a different place every time, which is a clue that the orgies are held by an ongoing club and its members are spread around the country and probably the globe. Nick also states that the parties get started around 2am. Why so late? Well 3am is known to occultists as the witching hour. So perhaps those who have stated that Kubrick was attempting to expose some ongoing occultist secret society, like the Illuminati, were onto something.

It has also been suggested that the skull-like mask worn by the man on the balcony was a reference to the skull and bones secret society at Yale University and that he nods like an owl, apparently a favourite symbol of theirs. However, this is actually a specific type of Venetian mask, called a Bauta.

In terms of Bill’s awakening, the sexual exhibitionism of the orgy ties in perfectly with the Ziegler party where people show off their bodies, their financial status and their social status. We are finally delivered the sexual spectacle promised in the films marketing campaign, but instead of being aroused we are simply repulsed. The assorted figures sat watching these sexual encounters look equally bewildered.

The masked figure who spotted Bill from the balcony sends a woman to lure Bill into a trap, but Bill is pulled away by the other woman who has been trying to warn him. It’s interesting that being in a predicament that would likely scare the hell out of most people Bill is disinterested in her second warning. He is still preoccupied with the pursuit of a sexual encounter and asks her to go with him.

Now he does the absolute forbidden and tries to take off her mask. She disengages him and Bill is abruptly summoned and presented to the circle for a sort of mock interrogation.

A brief scene shows Nick Nightingale being led away, still blindfolded. This shot, more than any other at the orgy sequence, bares the strongest similarity to the Ziegler party. We see couples dancing, some naked and some clothed, but all masked. Note that this time some of the women are clothed and some of the men are naked. There are also males dancing with males and females dancing with females.

Now we cut back to Bill and his interrogation and here we get some more clues about the groups possible religious leanings. In the first shot that we see of the circular gathering staring at Bill there is an interesting mask to the right of the shot. It is a golden sun with rays emanating from it. And in other shots of this scene we can see at least one more Sun shaped mask among the crowd. The remaining masks appear to be a mixture of those used in Venetian masquerades, theatre productions and ancient religious rituals – in particular those depicting demons. A possible reference to Masonic beliefs can be found in a white and green mask, which has a protruding triangle etched onto it. The top corner of the triangle overlaps the wearers right eye, creating a Masonic pyramid-like emblem, just like the one depicted on the dollar bill. Even the colours of the mask are the same colours used in dollar bills, as if the mask is a crumpled up dollar bill with the masonic pyramid still visible. This image could well be a similar cryptic trick to Kubrick's eye in the triangle design that was depicted on the Clockwork Orange poster. Red Cloak’s mask is also gold, a possible hint back to Egyptian belief systems.

Now let’s further explore the curious inclusion of Sun masks by jumping ahead to the shot outside Nick Nightingale’s hotel. Bill walks past a store called The Artinis Gallery. The word Artinis has two meanings. First, it is a form of small portable artwork, hence the store is a gallery. However, I have searched online for The Artinis Gallery and found no reference of it. If this store does not exist then we can only assume Kubrick fictionally created it, which brings us to the alternate meaning for this word. Artinis is the Urartian God of the Sun … and Urarta was an ancient kingdom of Armenia, the first nation in history to adopt Christianity as its state religion. An additional street sign reference to an ancient God is the word EROS, written in red neon across the street as Bill is buying entry into Milich's costume shop. Eros is no lees than the Greek god of lust, love and intercourse. So with these references to Gods in street signs, including a sun-god, perhaps the sun masks at the orgy were a hint of the group being sun worshipers, a trait also associated with modern secret societies. Some researchers have even attributed sun worship and the constellations of the Zodiac as the core inspirations behind religious mythological stories, including those of Christianity. What is perched at the top of Red Cloak’s throne? A small, but clearly visible, Christian cross, verifying the presence of a religious belief system at the Somerton proceedings. Christianity, monarchies, sun worship, ancient religions and secret societies. As always Kubrick takes on the grandest of subject matter.

Now we have a strange jump-cut to Bill quietly entering his apartment. It has been noted by some reviewers that a couple of seconds after Bill closes his apartment door a strange light pattern crosses over his back. This is claimed to look like an eye – the hint being about the “all-seeing eye on the dollar Bill”, which is another reference to secret societies and certainly ties in with the monetary control sub-theme of EWS. Personally though, I found that the light pattern just didn’t look enough like an eye to make that interpretation convincing.

Bill strolls through his apartment after checking on his daughter Helena. He takes his hand out of his pocket and touches a door frame as he walks into the lounge. Perhaps he is trying to reassure himself that he is back in his familiar “reality”. He then hides the mask and costume.

Next we hear Alice’s dream story, which has stark parallels with Bill’s experiences at Somerton, but some key differences also. The story basically seems to be an amalgamation of many different scenes throughout the film. Here are some important observations. She talks of being naked and terrified in a deserted city. Bill later experiences this as he is followed around the deserted New York streets. She talks of being in a beautiful garden, which is depicted in the art collection of their apartment.

Next up we have a couple of fairly uneventful scenes. Bill goes to the Sonata café, which is closed, then enters a café next door and persuades a waitress to reveal where Nick has been staying. The waitress has the same classy and sexy demeanour that we see with many of the females in EWS.

Now Bill asks about Nick at the hotel. The camp desk clerk looks anxious as he tells of Nick being fearfully taken away by suited men, who also intercepted an envelope that Nick tried to pass on to the clerk.

Bill next returns the costume, minus the missing mask, to Rainbow Costumes. Milich is now obviously pimping out his daughter to the Japanese men so we can safely assume that he has been bribed, as opposed to threatened. Remember that Bill also bribed his way into Milich’s store outside of business hours.

Back to Bill’s office and we see he is still struggling more with his black and white thoughts of Alice and the naval officer than with whatever danger he might be in as a result of gate crashing the orgy. So off he goes to Somerton again. In a painfully slow scene Bill is rejected entrance to the grounds and given a second warning. An important question here is what exactly is Bill trying to do in revisiting these locations? He only returned the costume to the store after he found out that Nick Nightingale had left town. Rather than trying to unravel the conspiracy regarding his friend and the Somerton orgy, he still seems to be seeking out a sexual encounter to restore his vanity. His Eyes are still Wide Shut even though the web of lies that he lives in has been exposed so blatantly.

Now back to Bill’s apartment, where Alice is teaching math to Helena. He tells her he has to go back out and his jealousy crisis kicks in again as he watches her from the kitchen, while hearing her recite her dream of being at an orgy.

Now cut to Bill’s office, where he continues his jealousy thoughts. He calls the Nathanson residence, hoping to speak to Marion and hopefully arrange to meet her. But her fiancé Carl answers. No cigar for Bill.

So off he goes to visit Domino, who is not home and so he talks to her room mate Sally, who is a total Nicole Kidman look-alike. He tries it on with her and instead finds out Domino is HIV positive. Bill is awakening to the harsh realities associated with sexual promiscuity.

Bill then wonders the streets and is followed by a mysterious man wearing a mack. He buys a newspaper and sits in a café. As he sits we can see the newspaper front page caption “LUCKY TO BE ALIVE”, which is a direct quote from his chat to Mandy at the Ziegler party. And now we’re given one of the most important and overlooked shots in the film. We see roughly a six second shot of a newspaper article depicting what turns out to be Mandy’s death. The article caption reads “Ex-beauty queen in hotel drugs overdose”. However, if you pause the dvd and read the article then Mandy’s fate is revealed. It explains that Mandy had returned to the Florence Hotel at 4am accompanied by two men. “The staff said the two men seemed to be holding a giggling Curran as they brought her into the posh hotel”. This “giggling” statement is important. Clearly Mandy was drugged and remember that Alice was giggling in her sleep as she dreamt of the orgy – another connection between the two women. The article continues that Mandy was found unconscious in her room by hotel security and taken to hospital.

There are three severe misprints in the article, which involve lines of text repeating themselves. The first misprint reads “Amanda Curran, 30, was found unconscious in her room at the Florence hotel by security personnel after her agent asked them to check on her be … hotel by security personnel after her agent asked them to check on her be … cause he’d been unable to reach her by phone.” The second misprint reads “It was unclear if there was anyone with her at the time she ingested the drugs … her at the time she ingested the drugs.” The third misprint reads “She has many important friends in the fashion and entertainment worlds … She has many important friends in the fashion and entertainment worlds … and she believed she’d break through in the end.” These double printed statements were most likely intended by Kubrick as a way of letting us know that the three statements are lies. He is letting us know that Mandy was deliberately overdosed in the hotel and the act passed off as an accident or suicide. The description of two men taking Mandy back to the hotel also fits with what we have learned about Nick Nightingale being brought back by two men. So it’s most likely that he is dead too. (Update: If the Somerton orgy sequence was in fact a dream sequence then this newspaper article could in fact be saying that Mandy simply overdosed after Zeigler's party, which would utterly refute the entire conspiracy interpretation of the film. I will soon write an additional chapter for this review that explores this possibility further).

The final section of the article offers more revelations. Here it is, quoted word for word. “After being hired for a series of magazine ads for a London fashion designer, Leon Vitali, rumours began circulating of an affair between the two. Soon after hiring her, Vitali empire insiders were reporting that their boss adored Curran – not for how she wore his stunning clothes in public, but for how she wowed him by taking them off in private, seductive solo performances”. The important factor here is the name Leon Vitali. He was Kubrick’s personal assistant on several films, including EWS, and here’s the clincher … he is credited in EWS as playing the role of Red Cloak. So from this article we can gather that Red Cloak had a personal fixation on Mandy Curran and it was likely he who ordered her murder.

After this we see Bill’s visit to the hospital where he takes a look at Mandy’s body. A very strange shot shows him slowly leaning toward her face for a few seconds and then pulling away. What is going through Bill’s mind at this point is a mystery. Is he in so much denial of what is happening that he finds a sudden urge to try and kiss this naked woman? Who knows.

On his way out of the hospital he is summoned to visit Ziegler. As Bill is lead to the pool room Kubrick again uses visual aesthetics to connect scenes together. The star shaped decorations are now switched off in the hall just as they were absent at Somerton. Also at Somerton he was led by a suited man to face interrogation and warning on a red carpet, with the camera arcing in circles around the proceedings. This time he is led by a suited man to face interrogation and warning in a room that is almost identical in décor to the orgy rooms of Somerton, with a red pool table symbolically standing in for the carpet. Bill and Ziegler wander back and forth around this table during their debate. (Update: An email correspondant brought to my attention that Zeigler rolls a pool ball in small circular gestures, much like Red Cloak did with the incence ball at the ritual)

Most of what Ziegler offers in terms of tying the plot together is not very revealing. We could have guessed most of these contentions even upon our first viewing of the film. Yet having examined the article about Mandy’s death in more detail and noting the misprint clues, it becomes obvious that Ziegler is lying about what happened to her. She was murdered by a forced overdose. As always, Bill is blind as a bat. He is genuinely surprised by Ziegler’s explanations, but for the first time in the whole story he actually attempts to dig below the surface by questioning Ziegler’s version of how Mandy died. Ziegler’s response to this is interesting, not in his words, but in his body language. He raises his voice, steps up the dialogue pace and points a threatening finger at Bill, ordering him to accept the false version of events. This is a repetition of Red Cloak’s finger pointing threat at Somerton. Make no mistake about it. Ziegler’s purpose here is to silence Bill one way or the other.

Now we cut to a shot of Bill’s party mask next to Alice on the pillow. Under the cold blue light we could easily presume her dead. Bill enters his apartment and does something revealing. He switches off the Xmas tree lights, symbolising that he has now accepted the reality of his world, stripped of its innocence and sugar-coated illusions.

Once in the bedroom, he sees his mask on the pillow next to Alice. He doesn’t check to make sure she is alive and so his sudden crying fit is not about her potentially having been murdered. When Alice awakens she does not respond with a barrage of questions about where the mask came from, but instead tries to comfort Bill. In fact she doesn’t even look at the mask. Apparently in the original book Traumnovelle the wife character did place the mask on the pillow, but this is Kubrick’s film and like with The Shining he has reshaped the story to his own wishes. So here is an alternate interpretation of this scene based upon the films use of dream logic. The mask on the pillow is imaginary. It is a manifestation of Bill’s sudden awareness that he has been lying to himself and his wife throughout their entire marriage. He was wearing a mask of deception even before going to Milich’s costume store.

Alice already tore off her mask when she revealed her most secret sexual fantasies to Bill. Now he must do the same. So when he sobs and says to her “I’ll tell you everything” he is not necessarily referring to Somerton. He is referring to his marriage and partnership with Alice.

Now the final scene in the toy store loses its cryptic vagueness and offers a more satisfying resolution. Bill and Alice are not discussing the dangers of being tangled up in a conspiracy. They are talking about their relationship. When Alice tells Bill that they need to "f**k" as soon as possible it is because they have never had sex without removing their masks of deception. They have used each other as sex objects just like the orgy participants at Somerton and the partner-swapping couples at Ziegler’s party. By engaging in real intimacy with their eyes wide open this marriage will be healed. In his own unique way Kubrick is giving us a happy ending.

Due to EWSs stunning intricacy and complexity this has been by far the most difficult and time consuming film analysis I have written to date (now superceded by the unbelievable complexity of unravelling 2001: A Space Odyssey), but it has been well worth the effort.

Once we begin to notice the carefully crafted meanings in EWS’s narrative and visuals it makes perfect sense that the film is slowly paced with lingering unedited shots. The images are almost like paintings and Kubrick draws them out so that we are forced to pay attention to the symbolically potent details. This shows up modern fast-paced Hollywood films for what they really are – assembly line products that rely on over-editing to disguise their intellectual and artistic emptiness.

In a modern world that is rife with infidelity, lies, hedonism and sexual decadence Stanley is encouraging us all to throw away our masks and take a good look in the mirror. His final and most underestimated masterpiece is a call for an end to all forms of secrecy, be they personal, social or political.

Whether EWS was chopped and changed by the studios after Kubrick’s death is of little consequence. His messages still come through loud and clear for those who are willing to watch it with eyes wide open.

Bravo Stanley. RIP

Figure 24 - Here, Dr. Harford displays an Illuminati hand-neck sign.

Figure 24a - Here, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan makes the same hand sign on the September 18, 2007 edition of THE DAILY SHOW.

Also inside the great hall are a couple of Gargoyles, whose presence in an Airport, or inside any building that isn’t a church or temple, is quite odd.  Gargoyles that are not designed to divert water runoff, (their original purpose) are actually called chimeras, or grotesques.  The are said to ward off evil spirits.  From the looks of these two, it appears that their purpose is to ward off the evil spirits of lost luggage.

Within the great hall of the DIA is a capstone, commemorating the construction and completion of the project.  In the center of the stone is the Masonic symbol of a compass, along with a dedication by the “New World Airport Commission”.  Several groups have investigated this organization, and found that it is unique to the DIA.  No other airport has been connected with such a group.  Of course, this has raised the blood pressure of more than a few conspiracy theorists, who see the connection to the phrase “New World Order”.  And of course, the rest of the building does nothing to lessen those worries.

This guy does an interesting presentation on the Denver Airport. The gargoyle has a Samsonite briefcase at the base of it. Samsonite= Mason Site?

Movie Predictive Programming / Occultic Connection

"One of the most commonly talked about movies to do with, "oh, the scary stuff, oh, children. I want to drink your blood," is "Eyes Wide Shut" done in 1999.  Very well done, done by Stanley Kubrick who was high up there in the high freemasonry.  He did "2001" and "2010" for Arthur C. Clarke so he understood the agenda. He died just after the movie. Some say that he went too far with the movie, but again, that could be speculation. You have to watch it and follow it to understand what's going on and even then take note of the street names and all of the names you hear in that movie, and pronounce them backwards and forwards and so on. There's a lot more in it than most people ever imagine.

You'll see the type of ceremony they have at the top where "do what thou wilt is the whole of the law," where there is mass promiscuity within these secret meetings, orgies you might say, and masks. They love the masks at the top and the masks served the ones of ancient Egypt. The hermetical sciences again, with the jackal head and various other heads on different people.  You'll see Thoth in there (sometimes it's called Thoth or Toth) of Egypt, and the simple secret behind Thoth who brought writing and mathematics and all this to society, it's not a person or a thing; it's "thought." That's where the word comes from, thought.  Most people never use their own thought.

"Eyes Wide Shut" shows you again, similar to "The Wicker Man", how an elite play with one character right through the whole movie and this character has no idea he's being led along. He's coming to the conclusions they want him to come to. He goes places to find out what the mystery is and they always know he's going to go there. They in a sense lead him on the whole way right through the whole movie and they kill people in the movie just because to them it's a game. It's nothing. They're untouchable by society. There's no policemen to come after them. No inquiry. Well worth seeing and these groups do exist."

Finally got a reply to my email to Milton Keynes (see above).  Took them a while.  I wrote as "William Harford"  lol:

Dear William

Please accept my most sincere apologies for the delayed response from all in Milton Keynes. Unfortunately your e-mail enquiry got stuck in an e-mail system somewhere at Milton Keynes Council, but was eventually discovered and forwarded on to me. Interestingly I had a visit from a group of students (and Head of School) from Gustavus Adolphus College, St Peter, Minnesota last year and used Reston as one of the American cities that are comparable to Milton Keynes in my lecture. Of further interest to you might be my other lecture on the History of Grid Planning.

My name is ---- and I am the new Director of the Milton Keynes City (job title) and I would be glad to host your visit to Milton Keynes. I do a number of different presentations regarding Milton Keynes as a “model city” or “new town”. I cover a number of specific topics such as:- sustainability; urban design; a brief history of grid planning over the millennia; the people involved in the planning of Milton Keynes or more specifically I can cover whatever topic you think would address the needs of your students or group. Included in the presentation is obviously a history and overview of Milton Keynes as a “new town” or “aspirational city”.

The visit will consist of PowerPoint 40-50 minute presentation covering the above key topics and/or your chosen area; and a tour of approximately 2 hours using the City of Milton Keynes as a living model. You would have to provide your own tour bus with a PA/microphone system for the tour. If you are not planning to have one during your visit to the UK we can assist you in organising this locally. We also highly recommend that visitors come and stay in the city in one of our many local hotels. This cuts travelling time down and the risk of getting stuck in traffic on the day. We can arrange, through a partner organisation, a good price at one of our local hotels allowing you to experience the night life, other cultural offerings and heritage of Milton Keynes. Please let me know if you would like us to assist you with this.

I need to make you aware of the fact that we charge for our services as we are an Educational Charity striving to be self sufficient – the charges for a 3 hour visit...

And so on.  The man's name withheld.  He doesn't mention The Illuminati, but he does talk about Milton Keynes being a "new town" and an "aspirational city."  I'll do some research on the phrases in this letter, see what I turn up.  The guy says he can specifically address when my group would be interested in.  As in, The Illuminati?  That which he dare not mention in an email?

Oh, well.  I found it interesting.

This movie is an occult New World Order masterpiece, created by the legendary Stanley Kubrick, who some say was murdered because of what it exposed. He did die strangely 666 days before the film came out. In fact all of Kubrick’s films from A Clockwork Orange to Space Odyssey are oozing with symbolism and hidden messages that expose the NWO. The film’s very name inspired this website. It amazes me then that mainstream critics are completely oblivious and seem to focus on surface concepts instead of digging deeper. Could it be that their publications are controlled by the same elites? If not, they themselves have their “eyes wide shut” – they are looking but don’t see. They claimed that it dealt with dreaming, infidelity and sexual fantasy, barely even mentioning its tight fisted links to Freemasonry, the Illuminati, ritual sacrifice and so forth. Maybe it’s because most mainstream media is owned by the New World Order.

Every scene is carefully crafted with its own message. This is not just a movie! Tom Cruise had to walk through a door over 90 times before Kubrick got what he wanted. Altogether the movie took 3 years to shoot. This is because every little detail had to be perfect. It wasn’t a case of “oh lets use this studio backdrop”. Symbolism is everywhere.

Re-watch the movie, but this time take a look at what is going on around you, not necessarily the surface performances. Instead of regular Christmas decorations you see wreaths made up of esoteric and satanic symbols, such as the seven pointed star, pyramids and suns. You have the “devilishly” charming “Sandor” Szavost, who tries to corrupt and seduce Alice. His name is clearly taken from church of Satan founder Anton “Sandor” LaVey. By the same logic Alice represent the characters Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass. In the stories Alice goes in to a strange alternate reality, something New World Order followers believe the masses are stuck in, dumbed down by propaganda media and celebrity culture. You even have the symbolism of the mirror that Alice opens with in the movie. Her daughter is called Helena, after Helena Blavatsky, a woman in the late 1800s who became famous for reportedly having physic abilities, a state of mind that the Illuminati allegedly try to block the masses from attaining, by contaminating our drinking water with fluoride among other things.

The symbol of the rainbow is also very important. In the MK Ultra CIA mind control/hypnotism programs the rainbow was supposedly a hypnotic symbol used in conjunction with a lot of other disgusting practices that resulted in proverbial mind controlled slaves. According to some sources this wasn’t just performed on willing adults in labs, but very often done on children using the movie The Wizard of Oz, which also contains rainbow symbolism. In Eyes Wide Shut Dr. Harford is asked at the party by two women if he wants to “go where the rainbow ends”. Maybe Kubrick was asking the audience, do you want to go where the truth is? Along the same lines, the costume shop where Harford buys his Illuminati hood is called Rainbow Fashions. The owner’s young daughter appears to be used as a prostitute for her father to make money. Child sex rings are often linked to Illuminated politicians and again back to MK Ultra and the abuse those children suffer. What’s even more interesting is the store is directly adjacent to a real life Freemasonic lodge in New York!

The most glaringly obvious link to the Illuminati and Freemasons are the scenes where Harford gains access to a secret masked ball held at a secluded mansion, where there are orgies and satanic chanting. There are countless reported cases of strange wealthy people holding orgies and masked balls, whether it be aristocrats at a Mansion in England, or the elite of the US holding mock sacrifices at Bohemian Grove. Despite being a secret society Freemasons are well known for their rituals and ceremonies, and the Red cloaked priest in the movie is said to be a spitting image of the High priest of the Bavarian Illuminati.

Want to get a feeling how the wealthy dominate with their power through secret societies, then watch this movie. Other great movies that show the conspiracy, corruption etc include “They Live”, “Devil’s Advocate”, “The Matrix”, Rosemary’s Baby”, “V for Vendetta”, “The Manchurian Candidate”, “Fight Club”, “iRobot”, “Terminator”, “The Firm”, “The Network” and “The Truman Show”. There are countless others that you will then pick up on with your knew knowledge. It’s almost infinite.

..But the reason for the masks is not as obvious as you may think...

Is is cause the High Priests used to wear them when going into the ancient Temples to fornicate with the women who were on their two week yearly Temple prostitution service?

pretty much, and it went both ways.

I highly recommend everyone watch this movie and see clearly how the incestuous psychos at the top have always ruled with insanity and deprvity:

La Reine Margot:
All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

[the code is cracked]

OK so i was watching the bluray last night looking for patterns and hidden esoteric symbols and stuff and did note a couple of things.
All of the christmas lights used in all the different locations are of the same type and color and i did suspect that other women in the movie were actually women from the mansion, like a couple of women in cafe when the doctor be looking for his musician buddy.
Anyways so i gets up this morning listening to the last show of a series on the esoteric with Alan Watt and he gives away the real meaning of EWS.
Believe it if you want but it seems it has to do with a wicker man type ceremony,
which makes a lot of sense to me, that the good doctor was played from the very first move, a grand occult chess game with sacrifices, ceremonies, and scheming.

This elaborate set-up would explain all the same types of lights throughout the movie cause the same people have set it all up themselves.

Here's the transcript from Alan Watt explaining exactly what EWS be about:

[talking about the elite]
..But they do they really really do go through ceremonies at the very top which are to do with sexual orgies; that shines through time after time in the higher material.
Any yet they cloak it under the most respectable phrases and language but ..."Regeneration"; and they literally mean it.
They have different meanings in different orders and the further down they go it doesn't seem too bad, it's only a hint at something, but the higher up you go
they literally are into regeneration which they called a Godly process and that is where this soul reincarnates into.
Do you know that movie Eyes Wide Shut?

There's some nudity in it but again we have to look at what is to understand what is because that really has been the closest thing to what does happen at the top
which is so foreign to what we're given at the bottom and yet it definately is to do with regeneration and every street name in that movie has a meaning and every restaurant name has a meaning, read them backwards and forwards and so on, and the whole story is based upon a doctor who goes through a whole episode in his life, who, because of his conditioning cannot understand right through this plot that he has been set-up from the beginning.

But you have to see it to understand how the ultra elite do behave.

Tip on watching eyes wide shut:

Try to forget it be a Kubrick movie, though not many other people could have made it, and take everything within as part of the story and not as something Kubrick be trying to say.
For example things like when the two women be trying to take the doctor to where the rainbow ends, which of course be the mask and costume shop, all the five and eight pointed stars etc. remember that this be part of the story and not messages hidden within, because the message is in plain sight.
Quit looking around for the answers and look UP for once to see who be controlling the strings.

Personally i've yet to research the lost twenty mins, i guess the film crew will know what  is missing.
I don't suppose it just be sex scenes that have been cut, having just watched Caligula, that movie (available in bluray at ya local high store) be straight up hard-core porn in parts, penetration, the lot.
;D i be watchin' it sayin' no! she can't be! GTFO! etc. etc. ;D though i did enjoy the brilliant acting.

Like what's happening is that they need "willing fools", grabbing them off the street and then sacrificing them wouldn't have any satanic power, the victim needs to be at least "somewhat" aware of what's happening for the spell to work.
I guess the wicker man "ceremony" can bee seen played out in other movies too, like in a Texas chainsaw massacre, outside the satanists house were signs hanging on the trees and stuffed animals in the portal of house, also many cars parked outside, so ...having seen all these warnings (including the mad slasher hitchhiker) previously, they still went ahead and entered, putting themselves into the roles of "willing fools".
