Thanks for posting the above link. I downloaded it to my hard drive. It feels good to have it for safe keeping.

In reference to Alex Jones 1/7/11 interview with Charlotte Iserbyt; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trw9pNQreEQ

I have listed the books she referenced.
I had to listen to it a few times to catch one reference to a book that she termed the best book on Lyndon Johnson. It turned out to be: "A Texan Looks at Lyndon: A Study in Illegitimate Power" by J. Evetts Haley.

The book she mentioned on Ronald Reagan was called: "Here's the Rest of Him" by Kent H. Steffgen. It is indeed difficult to find as no copies are currently listed online in the places I've looked.

The Book "The Impossible Dream" by Maureen Heaton is available in pdf download at: http://www.americandeception.com/ (The direct link won't copy.)

The small book: "Back to Basics Reform" by Charlotte Iserbyt is available at: http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/OtherPDFs/B_to_B_Reform_Iserbyt_17p.pdf

I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of society, but the people themselves, and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. - Thomas Jefferson.

"Dumbing Us Down" by John Taylor Gatto is an excellent read, too.

Quote
The system is working exactly as planned; the problem is that the American public has been fooled into thinking the plan is to educate our children. Oh, no. The plan is, as Iserbyt says, ?. . . the gradual transformation of our once academically successful education system into one devoted to training children to become compliant human resources to be used by government and industry for their own purposes.?
Don't believe me. Look it up yourself!

Jo --

Thank you for posting Charlotte Eserbyt's book!  It's a nice .pdf simply available and should be distributed so that people understand.  She writes beautifully and I'll be reading the entire book.

p. (44 of 736) has great enlightenment on basic "humanism" vs "Judeo-Christian" morals and beliefs.
