PEAK OIL MYTH
« on: December 12, 2009, 10:54:56 am »
Hi all,

I have recently been finding it very difficult to accept that crude oil originates from dead organic matter decomposing (dinosaurs etc). How many dinosaurs would it take to produce this amount of oil??? How did the dead matter manage to burry itself up to 40,000 feet beneath the earths surface?? Do the oil companies take us for complete idiots to accept this nonsense?

Oil is a by-product from deep within the earth that is continually replenishing and NOT a finite source!!

See some links below for a more detailed explanation!

It's not a myth.

After reading your post, I finally managed to have the time to gather some core information I've collected on the subject, and I've posted it here on this forum, to warn all the good people that come in here about a most worrying implication this phenomenon has.

I've put it in a thread located in the sub-forum that includes the term "Peak Oil lies" in the title, since I thought it would be more proper:

I dont know if thats true but oil does seep out of the surrounding rock.
That is taught in the appropriate schools.

Peak oil is not really a myth, but we have never surveyed all the oil reserves so there is no way to know when the peak will come.
Therefore its a deliberate obfuscation

Yes, crude oil is likely not formed by organic matter but by some as yet undocumented process within the earth. I've been told that this is the majority opinion of much of academic geological circles outside of the West. Apparently the Russians discounted the organic-matter origin of oil back in the 1800s and have been working from alternate hypotheses ever since.

Great info, Owen!  Welcome!

There is enough oil in the U.S., alone, to last us 100 years...I have heard that straight from a geologists mouth!  That's not counting fields we have capped and areas we have not drilled yet.

Michael Ruppert is a disinformation mouth piece--the artificial scarcity allows them to keep prices high and rob us in the process.

Joe Vials was a leading conspiracy researcher, who died of a heart attack, and operated out of Australia.

He basically proved the existence of Abiotic Oil

http://www.scribd.com/doc/3209608/abioticoil

I 'sanitized' his paper making it usable in 'Hate Legislated Countries' by removing all references to 'Zionism', and issued it strictly as a 'look at the facts - OIL DOESN'T RUN OUT'

This is a wake up war, tell everybody, copy and send that document to the four corners of the planet.

Of course oil doesn't run out.  The question is, are we using it up faster than it is replenished?  And the answer is yes.
