Your fight should be focused on the senate. Sorry, but these people aren't going to change their vote.

The fight should be focused on both... in keeping with my original post here, you do not know that they will not change their vote when pressured under the rules... the Senate will not vote on it until after July 6... we have until the July 2nd to convince four representatives to vote no...

Here are links to complete lists, of all state representatives, and all state senators... please us these numbers "liberally"... ;D

From the linked article:

Motions to reconsider are routinely laid on the table — or killed. If a motion to reconsider is adopted, it requires a vote be held again on whatever the House has voted to reconsider. Only Members who voted on the winning side may move to reconsider a vote. Members have been known to change their votes at the last minute in order to be eligible to offer the motion....

So...if your representative voted for this (on the winning side) contact him or her.  What would it hurt?  Momentum against this was REALLY building just before the vote, so maybe some that voted yea are worried right now.  You could call and ask how they could vote for something they didn't even read AND taxes breathing.  And fax them that simple question.

Two free faxes per day sent out from your computer.  They go into a queue and may take a day to deliver, so do it early.  Thanks for pointing this out, JT.

Go get 'em Americans! Remind your reps who's boss! What can people around the world do, though, anything? We hope more of your countrymen wake up every day!

The senate is our only hope for stopping this.  Call your senators this week and tell them what you think.

Dear Mr. McHugh,
I can not for the life of me figure out how you voted in favor for the cap and trade bill.  Did you have a chance to read and digest the 300 pages that were added to the bill at 3:00 AM the morning of the vote?  Do you feel comfortable taxing an already exhausted tax base to benefit among others...foreign interests?  I guess it really doesn't matter that you won't be re-elected next term, since you will be the Secretary of the Army.
How convenient.

I urge you to change your vote.  Will you protect the Constitution of the United States of America, or will you pander to other interests?

Help me to restore confidence in our system.

Ok JT. I just think we have a better chance of stopping this in the senate. But by all means call these scummy f**kheads who voted for this travesty.

Maybe so, but don't let that stop anybody from writing to every last Representative and Senator letting them know which side of history is going to be the right side to be on.  Regardless of whether it will change their vote this time or not.

Here is my letter to Representative Mike Thompson (D) -

I feel that I must direct your attention, Rep. Thompson to the names appearing on the website http://www.capandtr8tors.com/ .   While the list of names appearing at capandtr8tors.com are Republicans who are listed as voting for HR 2454, your vote as "AYE" for HR-2454 as reported at http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll477.xml reserves a place for your name on the list at http://www.capandtr8tors.com.  I am urging you, sir, with the utmost and genuine of sincerity to OPPOSE HR 2454, pursuant to and in step with the strong will of your constituents here in CA that have not been so easily distracted by the non-stop coverage by the Main Stream Media of the deaths of Nada, M. Jackson, F. Fawcett, Ed McMahon and Billy Mays. It is illogical and impossible for you (or any Representative for that matter) to faithfully execute the will of your constituents when you vote on such an important matter WITHOUT EVEN BEING ALLOWED TO READ the 1300+ pages of the proposed bill.  In short, this fact is infuriating. Take not these words lightly, for much is at stake.  Being on the right side of history is NOT a luxury that the supporters of HR 2454 are going to have in their legacy, mark my words and the words of every other person writing to your office and all the other Representative and Senate offices across the country on this gravely serious matter.

It is always wise to prevent outright war and genocide if possible.

Call your Representative's off the hook and scream bloody murder. Tell them they are committing treason and if they are worried about getting re-elected, they should be further worried about what will happen to them if the entire Government collapses and they have no jobs.

Dear Mr. Price

At the end of the vote on HR 2454 on friday there was a motion to reconsider by one of your fellow congressman. This means that until the deadline of July 2nd there is still a chance for you to redeem yourself for voting for  this monstrous legislation that was not read until 30 minutes before the vote. How can you vote for something you have not read? How can you vote for a bill that not only taxes breathing, oil, and barbecues, but also would raises prices for almost every product and market in America? Everything from food and spray cleaners to toilet paper and tires has some sort of ingredient derived from petroleum. Even Tofu uses Hexane, which is derived from petroleum.

Please reconsider this legislation and vote no! I fear for your future as a representative if you don't give this legislation what it deserves... a  no vote. Your a Christian you must have some morals left in you that would allow you to reconsider...

I am afraid that failure to do this may result in you losing your next election if this passes. Your constituents are very supportive of the free market and fear that it may die if this bill is passed.

Do not let your constituents down.

Also please look at the congressional testimony in front House and energy subcommittee to help you decide on this issue. This is very important!

As was said in Congress on Friday " the choice in voting for this legislation is a choice between freedom and Tyranny" Why did you vote for tyranny?

Bombard these guys... HIT them hard with infobombs... Pick out the high points of Boehner's little mini filibuster, and make them feel guilty as hell. All we need is for FOUR of them to change their vote by Thursday evening.

http://www.teapartypatriots.org/

At the same time, be pounding on the Senators... keeping in mind that we need to get 51 of them on our side... but we only have to change the mind of four Congressman in the House.

How to Fax for Protest on HR 2454 #2
« Reply #63 on: June 29, 2009, 09:39:27 pm »
Below the 1-6 steps,  is a list of the Congressmen & the fax numbers for all those "other" than the Republicans who voted "yea" on HR 2454 {Cap & Trade}.  These people have until July 2, 2009 to change their vote to "no."  This is the goal.

Later -- it truly would be nice to send a fax to all those who voted properly :)  The entire States of: Alabama, Idaho, Louisiana, Alaska, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, Wyoming came through, with no votes in favor,  for instance.

I have been doing a lot of faxing on HR 2454.  This is fast written communication that is so vital with the looming deadling for reconsideration of their "yea" votes on July 2, 2009.

How To:

1. Create a document of what you wish to say. Save it to your desktop.  Make it short.  I used the Pink Slip posted last night.

2. Decide on or create an email you wish to use.  Create two folders:  Faxes Sent  & Faxes Unsuccessful.  I used a fake name.

3. Not to "prefer" any free fax site, but I found this one to be easiest, fastest {least info input} & no limit.  I decided I don't care if it is supported by advertising on their cover page:  http://www.freepopfax.com/main/controlFax

4. Copy the list below to a document on your desktop.  Then, you can look at the numbers as you make your faxes. Highlight each name as you accomplish the fax.

5. Create your faxes.  Input the fax #, place your document on the freepop website.  Send.

6. Go to your email and "confirm" so the faxes will be sent.  I would Fax all-at-once, then confirm all-at-once.

The following is a list of the Congressman with color indications:
RED = Change vote from "yea" to "nae" P  Please send a fax expressing your displeasure
GREEN = Republicans who voted "yea"  Please send a fax expressing displeasure if not done yet
NO COLOR = Voted "no" which is good & deserve a hearty "Thank You"

Thanks for the video on Agenda 21 !

Those work well for us as my husband is hearing-impaired, so I downloaded it for him to see later.

What a bunch of sickos these people are.  They are the result of centuries of being too far removed from reality, in-breeding, and sociopathy/psychopath.  I'm almost certain that sociopathy/psychopathy is in the genes -- aren't you?   !!

Of course.... all that in-breeding to "keep with the bloodlines" for eugenicist purposes has done a number on these people... they're horrific creatures!

I like the text along with the audio as well ;) I'm a little troubled with my hearing too...

It's only 219 faxes.  All you do is type in the fax number because after the 1st fax, the rest of the information is retained.

Then, by the time it is all accomplished, you'll know your numbers on the keyboard without looking, if you don't already.

haha!

Well, it seems I'm having a bit of trouble now.  I thought with that one fax service that one could send unlimited free ones because of the advertising they use.

I have to check it again.  Am doing so right now

http://fax.1888usa.com/

Looks like http://www.gotfreefax.com is the best deal, unless one wants to do a "free trial."  There is a free trial for 30 days on one of them.

1. prepaid, so no monthly fees
2. $20 for 300 faxes

I am sorry everyone.  But, with the following site you can send approximately 10 faxes for free -- 2 on each site.  No registration, nothing.

http://fax.1888usa.com/

I was doing fine with the freepopfax, but then the numbers I was sending to started showing as "invalid" when they are not, on another fax service.

Revise on the best, easiest & free way to fax Congress persons:

Go to:  http://www.congressfax.com/sendfax.html

Copy the above Congress persons list to desktop, so you know what to say according to whether their vote was for or against HR 2454.

Please pick the "red" ones and ask them to change their vote on HR 2454 to "nae"

You can send the same message easily with copy/paste.
