Well, April 15th (the real April fool's day) has mostly come and gone and there have been reports of tax protest tea parties from all over the country. I can't think of a better way to have spent part of your April 15th than to have protested the ongoing socialism of Obamessiah and his deep pink cohorts. I heard that protests were conducted in around 500 cities across the country, many of them in the South, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi.
Of course the prostitute press will try to play this down as much as possible. Where protesters numbered in the thousands the media will tell you there were about a hundred or so. I have watched them play this numbers game for over thirty years now and their tactics never vary. If it's a conservative protest, as these tea parties were, they will cut the number they report in attendance by about 80%. Should the event be a leftist or "progressive" event they will quadruple the number actually showing up. When it comes to accuracy don't trust the media. They have already sold their collectivist souls to those who run the New World Order. "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?"
I am glad these tea parties have done so well, in spite of what the media will tell you in tomorrow morning's daily fish wrapper. We must not forget, in all of this, that we should not only be protesting what the Democratic socialists are doing to us, we should also be protesting what the Republican socialists did to us during the Bush regime. In fact, Bush can be said to have set the state for Obama to do what he is doing. Bush was the one that started all the ridiculous bailouts that Obama has continued with. And if you want to find out a bit more about Obama, or whatever his name really is, you can check out the Obama File on the Internet. When you do that check out the section on his political views. That section, alone, is 93 pages in length. You will find that Mr. Obama has been steeped in Marxist ideology from his earliest days and associated with several dedicated leftist revolutionaries for most of his career. I understand there are yet several of these tea party protests coming up in some cities in the future, some on the 4th of July. That's a good time for them, too.
I understand, also, that several states have already passed state sovereignty resolutions or Tenth Amendment resolutions basically telling the feds to do what they are supposed to do and to stay out of the rest. Economist Walter Williams recently did a column in which he applauded these resolutions, but he said the states that had passed them needed to put "teeth" into them so the feds would get the message. I agree. It will take a lot more before they get the message so the pressure needs to be kept up. I just heard today that the state of Louisiana has such a resolution in the works so folks in Louisiana need to let their senators know they want this resolution supported. I emailed my state senator this afternoon telling him I expected him to support this measure.
Professor Thomas DiLorenzo recently did an article for LewRockwell.com in which he mentioned the possibility of peaceful secession. I agree with him. This is actually an idea whose time has come--an idea whose time never really should have left in the first place. If the present government continues to try to drag us kicking and screaming into the camp of the Far Left, where the glories of Karl Marx abound, then I think peaceful secession is an excellent idea--one that needs to be talked about and debated in the public forum so that people will be informed as to how valuable an option this really is. As they say "If at first you don't secede..."
