FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real...

« Reply #40 on: May 07, 2009, 10:59:11 PM »

I have held my judgment up until this point but...

Patsy Huh Definitely.

Unwitting Patsy Huh Definitely not.

Michael Dwyer unfortunately was an wannabe hard man, that got himself mixed up in something that was way too big for him and ultimately payed the price for it.I feel for his family and friends and by no means did the guy deserve to be executed as he was but the lovable scamp away on an innocent holiday to Bolivia is simply just not true. There are too many unanswered questions and some unexplained sinister connections with people he was in contact with in Bolivia.

I might come across as being a little harsh or in some way trivializing his family's grief which is not my intention, but people need to forget for a minute that his was "one of our own" and accept the facts that he most definitely at the least had some idea what he was getting himself into.

I agree but it doesn't change the fact he was summarily executed - along with Flores .. et al  .... I definitely don't agree with their politics and in fact I admire Morales .. his policies ... standing upto the USA and kicking out the DEA ... etc ... I would hate to see something like this used as leverage against him and his Government ...  I have a feeling Morales wasn't any way involved in this but these guys were definitely set-up and shot in their bedrooms --- I also know there are photos floating around of them posing with guns ... etc .. these photos are exactly that ... posing ... even immature posing IMHO .... they were in Bolivia ... photos were probably taken around Santa Cruz ... rules are different in Bolivia and I am even more convinced of Dwyer's innocence having seen these photos .... somebody in the Bolivian Security Service is absolutely corrupt -- I think the Irish Government should demand a proper independent investigation -- It's probably too late now ... Also the post mortem on Dwyer ... His body arrived back in Ireland on a Thursday night but *officially they waited until Monday to carry-out a post-mortem --- I know we're laid-back in Ireland, but you'd carry out the post-mortem immediately ... I knew at this stage that the Irish Govt. had decided to draw things out and play things down ... it's obvious they decided not to make a major incident out of it --- but make it appear they were making a big deal ... to appease his family I suppose --- an Irish solution to an Irish problem ... Oh well ... life goes on and there are thousands being murdered everyday by Governments and others ... It must be the Tribal instinct in me that wants real answers to this -- that he was one of our own -- He was a really nice guy too -- I didn't know him personally but have friends who did work with him in Galway.
