I get IFC, and IFC Free (on demand). They've been promoting it this week, and it is listed on the website as available April 16th, but it isn't on the IFC video on demand list yet. I called my cable co. to find out why, all they said was that they get a push from IFC and if they had rec'd from IFC it would be out there, indicating its unavailability is a result of IFC.
Can anyone tell me, is this available in other areas, or is there a delay in its release?
Guess I'll have to wait until May to watch it on IFC.

also pretty much everything can be found on rapidshare and megaupload these days
use a free program called jdownloader and copy the links into it, that you find by just typing "megaupload.com" and whatever youre searching for on google
jdownloader how to's can be found on youtube im sure, extremely simple and as far as i know you cant get in trouble and there's no worrying about seeding ratio like there is with torrents

Just finished watching it and I must say I didnt care for it. t portrays truthers as hillbillys and society outcasts with a bone to pick with the government. Seemed like a hit piece done with selective editing.

Sorry to say but this guy's attitude is completely wrong. First of all, as a consumer who is strapped for cash, I don't buy DVDs I don't know the exact content of...I have purchased three versions of Loose Change, three versions of Terrorstorm, Road To Tyranny, Endgame, Martial Law, 9/11 Mysteries, America:Freedom To Fascism...and many others. All of them I saw first for free on the internet. Large numbers of downloads, apparently, isn't a selling point...  Bullshit. These guys suspect that the true reaction to their film, might be... And, what Truther is going to buy that? We're a large target audience...with a history of buying DVDs. Second...the filmmaker whines that all they have is TV rights, etc. to sell. Is that the fault of the consumer, or the corporations? Why is this filmmaker out guilt tripping his potential audience? Let IFC be the bad guys. They employ lawyers, this guy dealt with them when he sold the film to IFC. Personally, I find it highly suspicious that this guy doesn't want you to see his film before buying it. He already has his money from IFC, what does he care if you cheat them? The idea that internet/underground popularity isn't measured and used as a selling point for future broadcast rights is patently ridiculous. If I ever make a full length documentary, I'll be the guy seeding it all over the place. In film, you have to make a name...then you make your money. These guys are twits...IMO. Obviously, I'm not interested in that link... |

And I think the clips of the constitutional mountain community are lifted directly from a BBC Louis Theroux hitpiece that portrayed truthers as living in houses made out of bales of hay (seriously!). But the IFC account of the community is a lot more generous than the BBC account

Yup, that was an instant classic. It was almost like he was rationalizing all of the dangers then did a personal assessment of constitutional responsibility. So the obvious conclusion is "f**k it, let's go!" I also think the real hero of the movie was Luke. There was just no escaping his genuine purpose, drive, and commitment. |

I think the statement was the human ness of people in the truth movement and their genuine credibility (no alternative agenda, not raking in the cash from it, promoting peace and non-violence, people who care about their family and friends, and it is an overly underappreciated lifestyle). That is what I got out of it and I believe those "statements" are highly needed as the truth movement has just broken a new threshold with The Obama Deception and the Thermite Peer Review Study. |

i thought it was disgusting. and very disappointing. heck i like the idea of infowarrior reality shows.. but certain shots were totally cut in to make them look like idiots. or crazy. the one where they show and extended clip of alex ranting slightly manic.. they then show luke saying he thinks alex is this great guy and he believes in him and he has charisma. as if to first to subtly imply alex is crazy and then to follow with luke as if to also discredit them both. some parts i enjoyed..but for the most part it was gag evoking.

I just found this great 2 minute IFC promo clip for "New World Order" film. The clip not only includes Alex discussing the film, but also shows Alex driving around downtown Austin spreading the truth via speakers mounted to the roof of his car! I don't remember this footage being included in the film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOIbPFj73UwI'd seen a cartoon of Alex doing this in the film "Waking Life", but I'd never seen footage of him actually doing this in real life.
