This is a total patsy raid complete with plastic toy guns and 16 year old kids: Five youths held under UK Terrorism Act for alleged G20 plot http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Youths_held_under_terrorism_provision_for_0330.html Stephen C. Webster Published: Monday March 30, 2009Police raided 25-year-old's home for allegedly spraying 'antifa' graffiti "Simple fireworks" and "imitation handguns" are all that it took for British authorities to arrest five young activists who allegedly aimed to disrupt the G20 summit. "The three men, aged 25, 19 and 16, and two women, both 20, all live in Plymouth and the surrounding area," reported The Guardian. "They are political activists unaffiliated to any terrorist organisation, and were arrested at addresses in Plymouth. They are being held under terrorism legislation. The explosive devices were made from simple fireworks, police said." The arrests were made under the UK's Terrorism Act; a measure which was strongly criticized at its introduction for carrying the potential to "criminalize dissent." They were detained and held over the last three days after police raids in Plymouth, while officers uncovered a number of weapons, suspicious devices and allegedly extremist materials, said Devon and Cornwall Police. Asked to clarify by The Guardian, an official said, "It's political, it relates to political organisations, it's not extreme but it's a different political view. It leads to motives and things like that." "I think [the explosive] was more designed to disrupt than injure or kill," a source told the paper, adding that the quantity and type of material found at the addresses indicates a small-scale stunt. "At a press conference at Crownhill police station in Plymouth, Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton said the investigation was sparked when a 25-year-old man was arrested for spray-painting on a wall in Plymouth city centre - but would not comment on the nature of the graffiti," reported the Press Association. Under the Terrorism Act, the arrested youths "can now be held in custody for up to 28 days and questioned," reported the Brisbane Times. "The arrests unfolded after a raid by police on the home of a man who was accused of graffiti and had been spraying the word 'Antifa' - for antifascist - and the name of a group that is anti-racist and fights extreme right-wing groups." "The arrests were an 'isolated incident' and local people were not at risk," reported the BBC. "The arrested people have not been linked to any religious group. "ACC Netherton said the weapons included imitation handguns and a Kalashnikov, as well as fireworks. No ammunition for the guns was found." Police discovered three of the youths at the man's home and arrested them initially on drug charges. "One of those arrested was said to be an international student and the other four are British nationals. Police were granted more time to question them on Monday afternoon," reported The Telegraph. "Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton of Devon and Cornwall Police said the suspicious devices were "made of simple fireworks" but were probably not lethal." Local police were coordinating with the Metropolitan Police in London, which takes the lead in terror-related crime fighting. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We would stress that the investigation is at a very early stage and that speculation regarding the capability, intention or motivation of those arrested is unhelpful. "At the current time we have no information to suggest a change to the threat picture facing either the demonstrations or G20," he said, referring to protests planned in London for Wednesday and the day of the summit.

So is Tory(noble plot) the opposite of "Common Purpose" or the reason for it?

Strange that G-20 and "The Protocals of the Learned Elders of Zion" should share that goal. any global order must overthrow all free expression (just an fyi, protocols is totally true concerning the methods but all the racist stuff is total BS). that includes freedom of expression in the following arenas: financial (free market capitalism), religious (freedom of religion), political (equal separate branches, checks and balances), media (freedom of the press), technology, and geography (state sovereignty)

Sky news for some reason feels the need to tell us all that air force one is a cpl hours out, its going to land a standstead (probably a decoy) it can survive an atomic blast from below and blah blah blah and that they have stores of blood on board and that his blood type is AB? HUH?
More news on expected trouble tomorrow . . . why are they outlining obamas plans giving times of his itinary all over the tv - surely any one who wanrted to do him harm would find this info very useful - or is that what they want? some crazy to shoot him or something?

BBC keep wombling on about shops shutting down to protect themselves from a terrorist assault (?WTF) They are expecting trouble in the docklands area - not sure wether this means we should watch this area or not - might be the exact opposite end of london - who knows ! Why are they expecting so much trouble - so far as I know no one has made a single threat! We should start a new thread tomorrow am with events as they happen and paste in news reports of anything that does happen before it disappears or changes.

A summary that i made in spanish with the info in this thread, also posted in the section of this forum " español.

Interesting to note:
Scotland Yards banning Video Taping of Police Officers Worm on the loose come April 1st to bring down computers CCTV to go off during G20 Anarchists being arrested Taliban warns of Washington being attacked...
Most likely this will all fly by with nothing big happening bar a few mini riots... however with Obama over here... assasination isn't far from wrong. I mean, I've heard that since he got in. You realise how fast the NWO's agenda would move if that were the case? It'd hit hyperspeed.
Doubtful it'll happen, far too soon. However I wouldn't rule out something, but the CCTV's in LONDON seem to be a diversion.
Keep an eye though.

More (?dis)info: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/G20/article6005080.eceThe security operation to protect delegates attending the G20 conference is far from straightforward. The police have had to prepare for every possibility – from terrorism to riots to green custard incidents and must manage a crowd ranging from novice protesters to hardcore anarchists. The trick is to create a hostile environment to deter criminal or antisocial behaviour, while at the same time reassuring the public. It is a difficult balance to achieve. Too many police officers can prove to be intimidating or provocative. Too few opens the door to troublemakers. The first job in preparing for this type of event is to collect intelligence. Officers will have been scouring the internet and other “open sources” for weeks. They will know that the majority of protesters are law-abiding but they will have identified some activists intent on violence. What makes the G20 demonstrations unique is the range of pressure groups planning to protest. Protesters concerned with climate change, capitalism, war and globalisation are to be represented. It will be crucial to locate the agitators and those orchestrating disorder as quickly as possible. Police spotters will be stationed at key vantage points while undercover officers mingle among the protesters. Disorder has to be nipped in the bud otherwise it can escalate at frightening speed, putting police on the back foot. If needed “snatch squads” will be used to remove troublemakers. The priority is to secure the summit venue, the ExCeL centre in Docklands. The ExCeL centre has the advantage of having water on one side and it is easy to put a ring of steel around the building. This will involve police marine launches, surveillance cameras, barriers, checkpoints and cordons. Once that is done the security focus will be on protecting the delegates' journeys in and out of the venue. With the venue secure, protesters are likely to demonstrate elsewhere, creating a cat-and-mouse chase across London. Text messaging could help change a protest location at the last minute. Demonstrations outside London cannot be ruled out. Plans for four simultaneous marches on the Bank of England are a real headache. A protest on the move is harder to police than a stationary rally. Protesters will be prevented from running as this raises the risk of injury to innocent bystanders, the police and other demonstrators. Tactics to herd the crowd into a pen, known as “the kettle”, have been criticised heavily before, yet the police will not want groups splintering away from the main crowd. This would stretch their resources. We can expect mounted police officers to guide the crowd along the routes. Reinforcements able to deal with any eventuality will be on standby in side streets. The control room at Lambeth will be receiving pictures from across the City and from cameras in the air. Despite months of preparation, things will be tense. Andy Hayman is former Assistant Commissioner Special Operations at the Metropolitan Police and: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23648143-details/Anarchists+plan+City+demo+for+G20+leaders'+arrival+in+London/article.doAnarchists plan City demo for G20 leaders' arrival in London Robert Mendick and Nigel Rosser 17.03.09 Look here too Poll: Are G20 protests justified? %3Cbody%3E%3Cdiv%20id%3D%22adDiv%22%3E%3C%21--%20BEGIN%20STANDARD%20TAG%20-%20160%20x%20600%20-%20ROS%3A%20Run-of-site%20-%20DO%20NOT%20MODIFY%20--%3E%3CSCRIPT%20TYPE%3D%22text/javascript%22%20SRC%3D%22http%3A//ad.yieldmanager.com/st%3Fad_type%3Dad%26ad_size%3D160x600%26section%3D460980%22%3E%3C/SCRIPT%3E%3C%21--%20END%20TAG%20--%3E%3C/div%3E Anti-globalisation activists are plotting a mass demonstration against bankers in the heart of the City, the Evening Standard can reveal. Police are on full alert ahead of the protest, planned for 1 April - the day world leaders arrive in London for the G20 summit. Thousands of demonstrators, including anarchists and anti-aviation activists, are planning a series of protests, aiming to capitalise on disenchantment with City financiers blamed for dragging the economy into recession. The event, dubbed 'Financial Fools Day', is likely to cause mass disruption as demonstrators try to block traffic and buildings by lying in tents and sleeping bags across the road. One source suggested the protest would include a "spectacular action". Organisers said on the Climate Camp website: "Join us for camping, workshops, protest, positive alternatives, direct action and community. "We need to stop this foolishness... Bring a pop-up tent if you have one, sleeping bag, wind turbine, mobile cinema, extra shoes, action plans and ideas... let's imagine another world." Protesters hope to mobilise "anti fat-cat" sentiment among students and workers affected by the credit crunch as they demonstrate against the financial system, and are inviting activists to "set up camp" in London's financial centre. One environmentalist source said: "People are angry about losing their jobs and bankers still getting their bonuses. People are also up in arms about the Government bulldozing anti-airport legislation through as we saw with the third runway at Heathrow." Despite police becoming adept at controlling such demonstrations and preventing widespread disorder of the type that occurred during the May Day and poll tax riots in the Nineties, there are fears small groups will wreak havoc. Police sources said: "Angry activists and aggressive City trader types are a volatile mix, as we have seen before." During the 1999 City Riot, which left 46 people injured and caused up to £2 million damage, fights broke out between City workers and anarchists protesting in the streets and in private premises. The April protest has captured the imagination of anarchists. Some are plotting further demonstrations against the G20 on the day of the summit on 2 April. One protester said the example of Athens, where young Greeks have been rioting for several months since police shot dead a teenager, could provide further inspiration. An anarchist blogged: "The combination of the recession, the inspiration of the Greek anarchists and the G20 summit being in London on 2 April gives us the opportunity to mobilise far larger than usual numbers on to the streets... Seize the time

Something BIG is going down this year, I don't know what it is - but I can clearly sense there is some major dialectic building going to happen this year. I have a 'gut feeling' but am now trying to confirm what my instinct is telling. Not necessarily with the G20, but this entire year. In one of the previous threads the Police spelled it out - by actually calling the protest groups and basically promising that there was going to be violence. Yesterday, the Metropolitan police was understood to have contacted a number of protest groups warning that the main day of protest, Wednesday, 1 April would be "very violent", and senior commanders have insisted that they are "up for it, and up to it", should there be any trouble.http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/mar/27/g20-protestThe force has refused to rule out the use of anti-terror legislation, with Sir Paul Stephenson, the Met commissioner, conceding that the week ahead, in which President Barack Obama will lead a cortege of other world leaders to the UK, will be the Met's greatest challenge.
Senior officers insist there is intelligence that some activists demonstrating against climate change, capitalism, war and globalisation are intent on violence and will try to disrupt the summit. They say that some troublemakers who were active in the 1990s have emerged once more, and that chatter between groups shows they are forging alliances to take their message to world leaders. Some protesters have also promised to storm buildings, taking out their anger over the collapse of the capitalist economy with direct action designed to bring London to a standstill. Now ask yourself: - How do the police know it is going to be very violent, before it occurs? - If they know this - they they would have to know who was planning it, and what it is they are also planing to do - they should already be arresting the perps, but they not! - So they are allowing the violence to escalate - and the 'menu' of anarchists is is being layed out for us all to see: Creating a media smorgasbord. Villainizing the peaceful activists whilst at the same time, creating a dialectic of fear and propaganda to build consensus for a G20 summit 'success story' towards a world currency. Police expect up to 1,500 protesters to converge on the Bank of England on Wednesday. At 12.30pm, other demonstrators are expected to “swoop” on the European Climate Exchange centre in Bishopsgate, where they plan to erect pop-up tents, makeshift toilets and even a bicycle-powered cinema, marking the start of a 24-hour Climate Camp. WHO’S DEMONSTRATING London Anarchists: have appealed for people to join in “direct action” similar to that seen at previous anti-globalisation protests Whitechapel Anarchists: London group which praised the attack on the home of Sir Fred Goodwin, the disgraced bank boss Class War: veteran anarchists who are encouraging supporters to “burn a banker” G20 Meltdown: A new organisation which will host a carnival at the Bank of England Climate Camp: environmentalists behind direct action at Heathrow airport and power stations in North Yorkshire and Kent Climate Rush: group against airport expansion who have “rushed” parliament People and Planet: student network campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment Stop the War Coalition and CND: anti-war protesters against Iraq and Afghanistan wars

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7975320.stm#THEMAPMap of expected protest areas. Apparently the police will use 'kettle tactic' of cordoning the public into a funnel and then pen operation. Some buildings are ready to be completely surrounded and cordoned with the crowd inside the cordon with metal fencing.

there are protestors and policemen covered in blood and they're just now storming the Royal Bank Of Scotland building the protestors are screwed anyway, they're outnumbered and they're hemmed in as a mob -- they need to break up and regroup elsewhere. anyway...

You sound like you like being watched and recorded by your government everywhere you go. Screw the windows, I should destroy the cameras if I were you. Set the NWO fascists back a few months and several hundred million dollars. That should be one of the main purposes of the protests. Hit them in the face and pocketbook. Destroy the infrastructure of tyranny.
And, for heaven sake, get rid of the monarchy once and for all. Join the modern political era.

In Houston, there are cameras in all the stop lights. I've always wanted to slingshot a paint filled balloon at those cameras!

You should use the Dutch (I belive it's the Dutch that started it anyways) trick that they use on speed cameras, they get one of those wee gun type gizmos with the plunger cartridges and fill the boxes up with super expanding foam and it kills the camera!

the campaign here in the uk that involved sneaking up and painting / spraying the camera lens black was quite effective - so long as you go in cognito - else you`d be on lord knows how many cctv cameras doing it!

Aye, you could probably get away with that anywhere but London .... but in London you would have bigger crowds to dissappear into..
