Sounds familiar, dunnit?

Wilco can be added to this list, which surprised me a little.

Country Disappeared

Wake up we're here
It's so much worse than we feared
There's nothing left here
The country has disappeared
If the winter trees bleeding, leave red blood
The summer sweet dreaming, april blush
But none of that is ever gonna mean as much to me again.

Hold out your hand,
there's so much you don't understand
So stick as close as you can,
all of the best laid plans
You've got the white clouds hanging so high above you
You've got the helicopters dangling angling to shoot,
the shots to feed the hungry weekend news crew anchorman.

So every evening we can watch from above,
crushed cities like a bug
Fold ourselves into each others guts,
and turn our faces up to the sun.

I won't take no
I won't let you go
All by yourself
Oh no you need my help
When the cold night shakes you like a chandelier
The snowflakes break through the atmosphere,
and melt on the blue breath of the auctioneers and disappear.

Every evening we can watch from above,
crushed cities like a bug
Fold ourselves into each others blood,
and turn our faces up to the sun.

Silversun Pickups - Royal We

We are ready for the siege.
We are armed up to the teeth.
Be careful how you live and breathe.
Relief was spoken underneath.

How many times do you want to die?
How many ways do you want to die?
Do you feel safe again? Look over your shoulder.
Very carefully look over your shoulder.

We can laugh about it now,
But we hope everything works out.
Be careful how you lick your wounds.
Believe that change is coming soon.

How many times do you want to die?
How many ways do you want to die?
Do you feel safe again? Look over your shoulder.
Very carefully, look over your shoulder.

You used to do a little, but a little won't fly
Right before you hit your prime.
That's when we fell in love another first time.

Can I please you still, remain in your father's will,
Or does it make you ill that it's bruised and beat?
We wen't in straight for defeat.
You will be relieved, so relieved, oh relieved to know.
we fall into desire, bitter sparks and the friendly fire.
Misery is fast. You're throwing up several times.
Before, never noticed the size of the flow.
It can't be ignored.

Do you feel safe? Look over your shoulder.
Carefully look over your shoulder.

you said you believed, but believing won't fly
Right before you hit your prime.
That's when we fell in love another first time.

when it's all over and you open your eyes,
You'll see the room turned on its side
And you'll be lying down and over on the floor.

Signed,
The Royal we, love the royal we.

Considering whats going on in U.K. this seemed appropriate.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weGEv_BhjNw

London's burning! London's burning!

All across the town, all across the night
Everybody's driving with full headlights
Black or white turn it on, face the new religion
Everybody's sitting 'round watching television!

London's burning with boredom now
London's burning dial 99999

I'm up and down the Westway, in an' out the lights
What a great traffic system - it's so bright
I can't think of a better way to spend the night
Then speeding around underneath the yellow lights

London's burning with boredom now
London's burning dial 99999

Now I'm in the subway and I'm looking for the flat
This one leads to this block, this one leads to that
The wind howls through the empty blocks looking for a home
I run through the empty stone because I'm all alone

London's burning with boredom now...
London's burning dial 99999
For who can endure a doctrine which would allow only dentists to say whether our teeth were aching, only cobblers to say whether our shoes hurt us, and only governments to tell us whether we were being well governed? C.S. Lewis

Spiderlegs - Keep Doing What You Normally Do

they are counting on you not to move
or do anything contrary to what you've
done in the past--up to this point

now, you might be angry
but they want you
not to act upon that anger
just keep doing what you normally do--
it's what they want from you

they want you to
keep doing what you normally do (X2)

don't act with your conscience
let your complacency think for you
and keep you in your comfy chair
facing your tv
and believing everything they tell you

they want you to
keep doing what you normally do (X2)

Keep buying what they sell you
Keep doing what they tell you
never think for yourself
Keep buying what they sell you
Keep doing what they tell you
never ever think for yourself
just keep doing what you normally do
just keep doing what you normally do
Keep buying what they tell you
Keep doing what they sell you
never ever think for yourself

black rebel motorcycle club - MKUltra
I spit my faith on the city pavement
To keep a smile
I bought my legs from the US Government
To keep me in line
We are the ones that keep you high
We are the ones that warm the sky
And you're burning bright

I filled my head with another replacement
To keep me high
I shot my soul when they wanted to take it
Your worst ain't mine
We are the ones that keep you down
We are the ones that warm the ground
While our arms surround

She's my river of sunshine, she's my girl
She can save the US, save the world
Yeah she's alright, I'll be fine
There's no US, save your mind
Save your mind come on

I'll give you nothin if you're just gonna waste it
But that's alright
I'll give you love if your wanting the taste that leaves you behind
We are the ones that keep you high
We are the ones that burn your pride
And you're burning bright

I've been waitin for the sun to come, lead me through the gates of Rome
Your gonna know they were never, never yours to kill
Oh no they were never, never yours to kill

I've been waitin for the sun to come, show you all what's being done
Your gonna know they were never, never yours to kill
Oh no they were never, never yours to kill

Friends of mine wrote this song for a movie, it's got some Anti-NWO themes, me thinks. ;P

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_WkPXLl9yA

Silent Revolution

You won't know when it hits you
Until it's too late
You see this has to happen
You won't have time to blink
We've taken this for too long
Snd we'll no longer wait
To "Exterminate"
Until you all are gone

You got away
With it too long
It's about time
We righted the wrong
Yeah it's time
It's time
Yeah it's time
It's time

All it took was one hit
And you got yourself in some deep shhh
Silly thing you started now
You're gonna pay

Revolution
Silent revolution
Has begun

The fuse is lit
And the bombs about to blow
No use in runnin
You ain't got nowhere to go
This is what you want? This is what you get. This is what you want? This is what you get. This is what you want? This is what you get.

You can download (or listen streaming) my last full mixtape, Macc Presents "Illuminati Life" here: http://www.datpiff.com/mixtapes-search.php?criteria=macc+illuminati+life&x=12&y=11

29 tracks of pure anti-NWO high quality hip hop, with many interesting skits, in the vein of Jedi Mind Tricks/ Immortal Technique/ Wu Tang Clan/ Non Phixion.

would love any feedback. Got lots of good feedback from this forum from my song "Electric Blue" which is featured on this mixtape. Thanks!

Corey Red is one of the realest truth rappers out there. He's a gospel gangsta, but don't let that put you off if you ain't Christian, his rhymes are as rough and raw as any hard core rappa out there.

Here is a sample:

Miacheal Franti - yell Fire
The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

As a music lover and a musician myself, I just have to add to this:

Serj Tankian's debut solo album Elect the Dead (2007), of course (as already pointed out)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvBxkVahkbc

Iron Maiden's album Fear Of The Dark (1992)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZLv2G0Hhn4

Green Day - American Idiot (2004)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkmEZs_Kcms

Bruce Springsteen - The Ghost of Tom Joad (1995) (later covered by Rage Against the Machine in 1999)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKKpmbcSe5E

The Living End - Prisoner Of Society (1998)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVtD4qMy5Hc

more to follow...

I love this song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1rBl1l5obs

Best part:

Now the ball is in our court, while we sit and watch passively,
The face of the earth changes drastically, after we,
Clear space at this rate for strip malls and factories,
We risk take a crew fate at a pace beyond gradually,
No more crops for us to harvest and feed,
Self-sufficiency replaced by clone-copy written seeds,
Now ask yourself, how can we be free,
When the water that we drink is owned by some company
,

I hear the weep up the streets, and cries up in the skies,
The weakness is disguised with deceitful lies,
Well we all eat to survive, and sleep through our lives,
Repeat in for high, all shit and no pride,
Never speak of our lie, let the fear fortify,
My insides are dying, trying to fit in the design,
I'm reminded daily, of a world gone crazy,
Guns mean safety for orphan babies,
Ignore the distortion you're forced to perceive and believe,
What supercedes is love, but who agrees?

Pennywise - Look Who You Are
http://youtu.be/UykRDZ8hjSg

Asleep at the wheel
you didn't know till its too late till now
divided by the things you could not see
the land of the free
there is no safe haven now
because you don't want to try
you don't want to die
you've got everything in mind
but the answer is what you don't really know
how its gonna be
so pretend i'll be ok

look who you are just a member of society
in a tragic comedy
pretending it will be ok
look who your are just a partical of a history
another faceless nobody
pretending it will be ok
look who you are

a rat in a cage
accept the things you can't deny, do you?
recognize the lie you have become
like everyone
you're afraid to face the truth
and now you can't get away
the fortune of fame
and the answers that you seek all will slip away
you don't really care
you don't have a prayer
your escape will be your grave

look who you are just a member of society
in a tragic comedy
pretending it will be ok
look who your are just a partical of a history
another faceless casualty
pretending it will be ok
look who you are

so you just give up
yea you just give in
you gotta sleep in your dream at night
at the life that might have been
when you've had enough
how much can you take?
just try to convince yourself
everything will be ok
it will never be ok

look who you are just a member of society
in a tragic comedy
pretending it will be ok
look who your are just a partical of a history
another faceless nobody
pretending it will be ok
look who you are

Strike Anywhere - To The World
http://youtu.be/eJ7Z6TrOtJY

Look how the ruts cling to my footsteps
the fatal invisible tool
by which we define we fight! for our approval
and fear our removal from the safety of fools

from the tidal forces of our positions
not won not one! to take for granted
are our rebel hymns in canted
to sing in the mines for the fortunate sons?

So brothers in spirit sisters in rage,
will we live out our lives in this concrete cage?
another heartbeat lost another police murder
buried in the public eyes on the back page.
Heartbeats lost in a new world order
hobbled and bound but still walking away

I pledge allegiance to the world
nothing more, nothing less than my humanity
I pledge allegiance to the world
searching for vision not invisibility
I pledge allegiance to the world
searching for vision not invisibility
I pledge allegiance to the world
until the last law breaks none of us are free...

until the last law breaks none of us are free.

we fight to balance our minds
petty powers pushing profits over our lifetimes
world leaders mortaging our lives with words
I don't need to be reminded of whom you really serve.

Brothers in spirit, sisters in rage,
will we live out or lives in this concrete cage?
another hearbeat another police murder
buried in the public eyes on the back page.
Too many heartbeats lost in the new world order
while we're standing alone with our backs to the maze

I pledge allegiance to the world
nothing more, nothing less than my humanity
I pledge allegiance to the world
until the last law breaks none of us are free
I pledge allegiance to the world
until the last law breaks none of us are free
I pledge allegiance to the world
for nothing more, nothing less

in justice in hunger united
searching for vision united
in justice in hunger united
law and order but for whose order?

I pledge allegiance to the world
nothing more, nothing less than my humanity
I pledge allegiance to the world
until the last law breaks none of us are free
I pledge allegiance to the world
under no nation will we ever be
I pledge allegiance to the world
for nothing more, nothing less
than my humanity, than my humanity, than my humanity (pledge allegiance)
to our humanity, to our humanity, to our humanity (to the world)

Killing Joke - Absolute Dissent

Absolute dissent
I won't relent

I oppose poison water
I reject poison air
I expose poison bodies
I refuse complicity
I reject this prison planet
I reject and resent

Absolute dissent
I won't relent

I abhor space weaponization
Genocidal plans
From Jeckle Island to Chemtrails
Unelected control
I reject this poison planet
I reject and resent

Absolute dissent
I won't relent

Brainwashed masses fit for fodder
Useless eaters - condemn

Eradicate the worthless breederds
I oppose, resist, foment

I reject this poison planet
I reject and resent

Absolute dissent
I won't relent

Bump the thread for a new Killing Joke song, "FEMA Camp":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQeC0sVwwkg
“All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.”
Marbury vs. Madison 5 US (2 Cranch) 137, 174, 176, (1803)

"Those people who are not governed by God will be ruled by tyrants." --William Penn

I just released an album, this is the second track
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfCxSt-QzCo
Lyrics:
Shadows of the night, they crept into the councils of light
Lied their way into the throne, built themselves castles of stone
I was a dreamer to think things could change
As tomorrow came and things stayed the same
And everyday we play your games
We're one step closer to being slaves
Shadows of the night, they crept into the councils of light
Lied their way into the throne, built themselves castles of stone
Shadows of the night, you will be brought into the light
And you just don't have the right
To tell us how to live our lives
And you better get things right
We won't go down without a fight
You can lie to yourself all you want to
Well that's just fine
But I'll never fall in line
I'll never fall in line
The brightness will conquer the shadows of night
And all their kingdom will be destroyed
And light will once again reappear
Shadows of the night, they crept into the councils of light
Lied their way into the throne, built themselves castles of stone
Shadows of the night, you will be brought into the light
And you just don't have the right
To tell us how to live our lives
And you better get things right
We won't go down without a fight
You can lie to yourself all you want to
Well that's just fine
But I'll never fall in line...

I wrote this song for my new band Subsidiarity.

Domari Nolo. For the Freedom of Conscience.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmNmkkJYRb0

My answer to both Democratic and Republican conventions.

We are reviving our old record label, Fetal Records, from the Baltimore DC hardcore scene in the 1980s, although this song is not of that style.

And earthly power doth then show likest God's
When mercy seasons justice

Meshuggah-Dancers to a Discordant System
They have been ahead of the curve for so long. They normally have lyrics that are singularity themed, psychedelic or existential. So to have them do any kind of political/world view song is great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xnQA-gmTa4
Listen to the hidden tune
- The essence of lies in notes defined
As we dance to the dissonant sway
- The choreography refined
Will subdued and shackled
Reason washed aside
Pledging our love to the chains
Our ignorance ever-amplified

Blooded hands lead the waltz
We're trapped in the out of tune swirl
Still we set the show on continue mode
And dance to a discordant system

We accept the nails we're fed
- Lies sharpened to bleed us silent
Muted from the pains
Defiance employed in vain
Any attempts to leave the dance,
Invisibly suppressed
Questions unasked, we learn learn the steps
- Eyes shut like all the rest

Unsuspecting, willing, blind, controllable herd
Pawns in a covert game conducted by hands we trust
Dominated, compliant and deceptable
Confident that we matter - we don't see that we're but dust

Committed to a lie we cannot see, cannot know nor comprehend
We're all asinine drones kept in the dark, kept in line

Confined, Bereft of reason
Withering in toxicity
- The deadly fumes of deceit
And we all reek of complicity
Humbled, brought to our knees
By the weight of our own guilt
Our nescient ways the catalyst
To injustice and inhumanity

We dance - to appease
Compete in stupidity

Obscured faces file our points
- Numbers fed to the machine
Still we stand in line for the next show
The human spine liquefied
What are we, but stupefied
Dancers to a discordant system

We believe - so we're misled
We assume - so we're played
We confide - so we're deceived
We trust - so we're betrayed

Wow, some great picks here, I'm surprised a few bands haven't been mentioned. The entire album "Hail to the Thief, by Radiohead is a call to arms against the powers that be.

2+2=5

Are you such a dreamer
To put the world to rights?
I'll stay home forever
Where two and two always makes five

I'll lay down the tracks
Sandbag and hide
January has April's showers
And two and two always makes five

It's the devil's way now
There is no way out
You can scream and you can shout
It is too late now

Because!

You have not been
Payin' attention
Payin' attention
Payin' attention
Payin' attention (x4)

I try to sing along
But the music's all wrong
'Cause I'm not
'Cause I'm not
I swat 'em like flies but like flies the buggers keep coming back and NOT
But I'm not
All hail to the thief
All hail to the thief
But I'm not
But I'm not
But I'm not
But I'm not

Don't question my authority or put me in the dock
'Cause I'm not
'Cause I'm not
Oh go and tell the king that the sky is falling in
When it's not
But it's not
But it's not
Maybe not
Maybe not

A Wolf At the Door

Drag him out your window
Dragging out the dead
Singing I miss you
Snakes and ladders
Flip the lid
Out pops the cracker
Snaps you in the head
Knifes you in the neck
Kicks you in the teeth
Steel toe caps
Takes all your credit cards
Get up get the gunge
Get the eggs
Get the flan in the face
The flan in the face
The flan in the face
Dance you f**ker dance you f**ker
Don't you dare
Don't you dare
Don't you flan in the face
Take it with the love, it's given
Take it with a pinch of salt
Take it to the taxman
Let me back let me back
I promise to be good
Don't look in the mirror
At the face you don't recognize
Help me, call the doctor
Put me inside

I keep the wolf from the door
But he calls me up
Calls me on the phone
Tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up
Steal all my children
If I don't pay the ransom
And I'll never see 'em again
If I squeal to the cops

No {x70}
Walking like giant cranes and
With my X-ray eyes I stripped her naked
In a tight little world and are you on the list?
Stepford wives who are we to complain?
Investments and dealers investments and dealers
Cold wives and mistresses
Cold wives and sunday papers.
City boys in first class
Don't know they're born, they know
Someone else is gonna come and clean it up
Born and raised for the job
Someone always does
I wish you'd get up get over get up get over
Turn your tape off.

I keep the wolf from the door
But he calls me up
Calls me on the phone
Tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up
Steal all my children
If I don't pay the ransom
And I'll never see 'em again
If I squeal to the cops

So I just go...

Here's one from "Amnesiac"

You and Who's Army

Come on, come on
You think you drive me crazy
Come on, come on
You and whose army?
You and your cronies
Come on, come on
Holy roman empire
Come on if you think
Come on if you think
You can take us all on
You can take us all on

You and whose army?
You and your cronies

You forget so easily
We ride tonight
We ride tonight
Ghost horses
Ghost horses
Ghost horses
We ride tonight
We ride tonight
Ghost horses
Ghost horses
Ghost horses.

Where is the Clash??!!!

Guns of Brixton

When they kick at your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun

When the law break in
How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement
Or waiting on death row

You can crush us
You can bruise us
But you'll have to answer to
Oh, the guns of Brixton

The money feels good
And your life you like it well
But surely your time will come
As in heaven, as in hell

You see, he feels like Ivan
Born under the Brixton sun
His game is called survivin'
At the end of the harder they come

You know it means no mercy
They caught him with a gun
No need for the Black Maria
Goodbye to the Brixton sun

You can crush us
You can bruise us
Yes, even shoot us
But oh-the guns of Brixton

When they kick at your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun

You can crush us
You can bruise us
Yes, even shoot us
But oh-the guns of Brixton

Shot down on the pavement
Waiting in death row
His game is called survivin'
As in heaven as in hell

You can crush us
You can bruise us
But you'll have to answer to
Oh, the guns of Brixton

And finally, the Incredible Steve Earl

Amerika v. 6.0 (The Best We Can Do)

Look at ya
Yeah, take a look in the mirror now tell me what you see
Another satisfied customer in the front of the line for the American dream
I remember when we was both out on the boulevard
Talkin' revolution and singin' the blues
Nowadays it's letters to the editor and cheatin' on our taxes
Is the best that we can do
Come on

Look around
There's doctors down on Wall Street
Sharpenin' their scalpels and tryin' to cut a deal
Meanwhile, back at the hospital
We got accountants playin' God and countin' out the pills
Yeah, I know, that sucks - that your HMO
Ain't doin' what you thought it would do
But everybody's gotta die sometime and we can't save everybody
It's the best that we can do

Four score and a hundred and fifty years ago
Our forefathers made us equal as long as we can pay
Yeah, well maybe that wasn't exactly what they was thinkin'
Version six-point-oh of the American way
But hey we can just build a great wall around the country club
To keep the riff-raff out until the slump is through
Yeah, I realize that ain't exactly democratic, but it's either them or us and
And it's the best we can do

Yeah, passionely conservative
It's the best we can do

Conservatively passionate
It's the best we can do

Meanwhile, still thinkin'
Hey, let's wage a war on drugs
It's the best we can do
Well, I don't know about you, but I kinda dig this global warming thing...

F The CC

I used to listen to the radio
And I don't guess they're listenin' to me no more
They talk too much but that's okay
I don't understand a single word they say
Piss and moan about the immigrants
But don't say nothin' about the president
A democracy don't work that way
I can say anything I wanna say

So f**k the FCC
f**k the FBI
f**k the CIA
Livin' in the motherf**kin' USA

People tell me that I'm paranoid
And I admit I'm gettin' pretty nervous, boy
It just gets tougher everyday
To sit around and watch it while it slips away
Been called a traitor and a patriot
Call me anything you want to but
Just don't forget your history
Dirty Lenny died so we could all be free

Conspiracy Theory

What if I told you it was done with mirrors
What if I showed you it was all a lie
Better be careful, someone might hear ya
The walls have ears and the sky has eyes
What if I said you were only dreamin'
What you wanna bet that all you gotta do
Is open up your eyes and you will wake up screamin'
When you realize that it's all come true

[Chorus:]
Hush, now don't you believe it
Cover your head and close your eyes
Now, take it or leave it
Go back to bed
Now don't you cry

Half a million soldiers fly across the water
One in ten are never comin' back again
Fifty thousand sons who never grew to fathers
Don't you ever wonder who they might have been
What if you could've been there on that day in Dallas
What if you could wrestle back the hands of time
Maybe somethin' could've been done in Memphis
We wouldn't be livin' in a dream that's died

[Chorus]

Go on and tell yourself again there are no secrets
Go on and tell yourself that you don't want to know
It's best that you believe that you don't hear the footsteps
That follow you around no matter where you go
Maybe you were thinkin' that it didn't matter
Maybe you believed nobody else would care
But once you've added every little lie together
You finally find the truth was always waiting there

EVE OF DESTRUCTION ~ BARRY McGUIRE

The eastern world, it is exploding
Violence flarin', bullets loadin'
You're old enough to kill, but not for votin'
You don't believe in war, but what's that gun you're totin'
And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin'

But you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you don't believe
We're on the eve
of destruction.

Don't you understand what I'm tryin' to say
Can't you feel the fears I'm feelin' today?
If the button is pushed, there's no runnin' away
There'll be no one to save, with the world in a grave
[Take a look around ya boy, it's bound to scare ya boy]

And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you don't believe
We're on the eve
of destruction.

Yeah, my blood's so mad feels like coagulatin'
I'm sitting here just contemplatin'
I can't twist  the truth, it knows no regulation.
Handful of senators don't pass legislation
And marches alone can't bring integration
When human respect is disintegratin'
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin'

And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you don't believe
We're on the eve
of destruction.

Think of all the hate there is in Red China
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama
You may leave here for 4 days in space
But when you return, it's the same old place
The poundin' of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead, but don't leave a trace
Hate your next-door neighbor, but don't forget to say grace
And… tell me over and over and over and over again, my friend
You don't believe
We're on the eve
Of destruction
Mm, no no, you don't believe
We're on the eve
of destruction.

Jackson, keep goin`
