I got a $1 bill the other day at McDonald's that had "Infowars.com" on it as well as "this note is worth 4c" and I think "you have been lied to". it's now back in circulation. !

This thread - because of its POWER and IMPORTANCE - should be PERMA STICKY ON TOP OF THE PAGE!
Never to be removed or lost.
*bump bump*- recycling.
P.S. - 1's are the best - its they get recycled more than the larger bills do. (Correct me if wrong).

Ok so i can answer my own question ! UK ppl, now you know !!! (I guess that means that if someone were to write on UK bank notes that they would have to write something that didnt link to themselves or any paerticular site - like this one for example !) http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/717085.htmlThere is a lot of anecdotal evidence on the internet stating that it is illegal to write on banknotes in the UK but it is difficult to track down any evidence. There appears to be nothing stating this fact on either the Bank of England or Royal Mint websites. I have though managed to track down some evidence! "The British Currency and Bank Notes Act, 1928, provides: ? If any person prints or stamps or by any like means impresses on any bank note any words, letters or figures, he shall, in respect of each offence, be liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding one pound." http://historical-debates.oireachtas.ie/D/0035/D.0035.193006120014.htmlUpon further research into the British Currency and Bank Notes Act I found this statement on the Wikipedia: "Concerning notes, the Currency and Bank Notes Act 1928 says If any person prints, or stamps, or by any means impresses, on any bank note any words, letters or figures, he shall, in respect of each offence, be liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding one pound. The penalty was changed to £25 in 1977 (Criminal Law Act, s.31) and to £200 in 1982 (Criminal Justice Act, s.46)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk_archive/July_2004It therefore does appear to be illegal to write on banknotes in the UK. Further reading on this subject can be found here: http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/about/further_reading.htmYou can also contact the Bank of England directly here: http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/contact.htm

Ive been doing this since last october. I write on every bill that I get and all of my wife's too! She has started to get annoyed with me because I keep going through her purse looking for fresh bills that she leaves her loose change on my desk to stamp. Yeah, I bought a couple stamps. One says www.prisonplanet.com and the other says www.falloftherepublic.tk. I picked them up at http://www.thestampmaker.com/Default.aspx and used their custom stamp wizard. Cost me about $15 for 1 self inking stamp good for several thousand impressions. I also started to put www.wheresgeorge.com on there too just so I can start keeping track of how many I have done.

I agree. Also, I read somewhere that since banks tend to keeps ones as opposed to fives that fives were the best choice. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Since defacing writing on Federal Reserve Notes and other bank notes is technically a violation of a law of some kind, I'd like to suggest that nobody openly admits to doing something they haven't been caught for. That being said, when I mail checks to pay my bills in, I will write web addresses on the envelopes, and in the for section on the checks. The web addresses I usually use: Oathkeepers.orgInfowars.comPrisonPlanet.comSaveOurSheriff.comFreedom-Force.orgI usually put the Oathkeepers.org on the bottom front of the envelope because vets are given preference for employment at the USPS. (At least it used to be that way. It could've changed since I last looked into it.) Considering the number of hands the envelopes and checks pass through, the web addresses are bound to be seen a few times. As far as the Federal Reserve Notes I used to exchange for goods and services, who's to say they didn't have that web address or slogan before I received it.

I went in my local veggie cafe last week and got a five pound note with "CHEMTRAILS KILL" on it !
The woman at the till was appologetic to give me money with writing on, but I told her not to appologise it was fantastic - then told her all about chemtrails, much to her horror.
bit by bit its all coming out !

I love spending the info-bills at places like 7-11, because it is almost immediately put back into circulation. It's also great when you hand them the bill and they stare at it, and compute the information on the bill.

Should pay a few bucks and have a stamp made.
Can customize a Guy Faux Mask Stamp, Stamp 1 Dollar Bills right over George Washingtons Face, and have Infowars.com / prisonplanet.com stamped on the edges.
Isn't defacing money illegal? like anyone cares, the money is worthless now anyway.

PS:O and you don't have to spend money to do this, You can go to a bank, withdraw all your money, stamp the money, go back the next day and Re-Deposit the money.
Then wait a few days for the money to get mixed up and circulate, and Rinse and Repeat, you can actually use the banks own system against them !!!;p
not to mention they will be concerned seeing you withdrawing your money so often...
