Before you all start flaming me ( I am cringing) about posting a hollyweird story, you might take a look and see why we might want to keep an eye on things regarding Jolie. I don't usually care about what political views a "star" has, except when they step into the political arena. And most definitely when the actress suddenly becomes persona non grata in Hollywood. (To me it would suggest that the 'fallen star' now has or displayed substance) The 2nd article suggests why Jolie is not so "beautiful" anymore. The machine that brought the Obamas to the Whitehouse is evident because now Vanity Fair has rated Michelle Obama as beautiful. (Where is the puking icon?)
Jolie's 'Vanity Fair' Snub Beginning of the End?By Victor Balta

http://www.comcast.net/entertainment/popcast/21280/joliesvanityfairsnubbeginningoftheend/Is this how it ends for Angelina Jolie?
In the cruel, cruel world of Hollywood, this seems to be how it goes. One day you're on top, unstoppable. You can't make a wrong move. The best films, the best magazine covers, the best red-carpet photos are all yours. Then one day, Vanity Fair's annual "best-dressed" list is revealed and you're left off of it for the first time in years.
Sure, Vanity Fair's big list isn't the only measure of success or relevance. But it's a telling one. Michelle Obama can't be stopped and she made the list for the third consecutive year.
But it isn't just Vanity Fair's list. Jolie was bumped from the Top 25 on Maxim's Hot 100 this year for the time in quite a while. She landed behind up-and-comers such as Julianne Hough, Moon Bloodgood, Malin Akerman and, of course, Megan Fox, who appears to be assuming the title of "the new Angelina Jolie."
Of course, we could be making too much of it all. Angie's certainly been distracted at home with twin babies and, through it all, she landed an Oscar nomination last year for "Changeling" and killed at the box office in "Wanted." She also has an interesting CIA thriller coming up next year called "Salt," in which she plays an agent accused of being a Russian spy and sets out to clear her name.
But if Paula Abdul can leave "American Idol," that's proof that all good things eventually end. Is Angie's number up?

http://www.popcrunch.com/angelina-jolie-politics-angelina-jolie-considering-running-for-president/Angelina Jolie is considering turning her back on acting in favor of a career that could see her as America’s first female president.
According to sources close to Angie, the 34-year-old star is hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow stars like California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former president Ronald Reagan by abandoning
Hollywood for the Dog Eat Dog World of politics.
The Oscar-winning actress, who has been highlighting the plight of refugees and victims of war and poverty while serving as a UN goodwill ambassador for the last eight years, is allegedly eyeing a run for The White House at some point in the future.
“Ange has admitted she’s getting bored with Hollywood. She said she’s now got her sights set on Washington,” a friend of the mother of six revealed in a chat with Britian’s Daily Express this week.
“She is passionate about people’s rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics. She admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position,” the pal added.
“I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years. When Ange sets her mind on something, she goes all out to do it….She’s very determined and gets very stirred by her UN work. She is well respected for her humanitarian work and I’m sure she would make as many waves if she moved fully into the political world.”

Leftist Roseanne Barr attacks Angelina Jolie for Pro-Liberty views Angelina Jolie along with Father John Voigt have been making very libertarian-oriented statements in interviews these past few years. Within the last year, Jolie has met with Troops in Iraq, expressed her support for gun rights, and has even talked of her admiration for Ayn Rand.
For instance, Art Pedroza of Orange Juice Blog out of California reported back in June that:
"Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, are thinking of making a movie based one the famous book by Libertarian author Ayn Rand, “Atlas Shrugged.” And Jolie clearly believes in gun rights. The necklace she wore during her interview was a gold representation of a machine gun..."
Now according to the NY Daily News gossip page, Roseanne Barr is viciously attacking Angelina Jolie and husband Brad Pritt on her daily Blog for her Pro-Liberty views:
"Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about $40 million a year in violent, psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children, trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity "
She continues:
“Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?”
She added:
"Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death."
Jolie has yet to endorse Hollywood favorite Barack Obama. In an interview in the June 14 Entertainment Weekly interview Jolie expressed her independence:
“I think people assume I’m a Democrat. But I’m registered independent and I’m still undecided...
This prompted Roseanne Barr to complete her tirade with a racially tinged plea to Jolie to support Obama:
"It might be good for your Asian and African childrens' self esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world."

Hollywood actress ANGELINA JOLIE is eyeing a career change - she is reportedly planning to swap life as a movie star for a role in politics.
The Tomb Raider star is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations (UN) and spends much of her time championing the rights of refugees and dedicating herself to philanthropic activities.
Jolie is now reportedly looking to take her interest in humanitarian issues to the next level, with plans to quit acting so she can concentrate full time on her political ambitions.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "(She) has admitted she's getting bored with Hollywood. She said she's now got her sights set on Washington. She is passionate about people's rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics.
"She admires (U.S. President) Obama and thinks she could make a big difference if she were in his position. I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years. She's very determined."
