Hi Gabe.
The dilema we face is that there exists people wo refuse to accept the reality of this treasonous abomination. They will not accept it, I call them bubble heads, to explain they live in a an illusion and choose not to see outside of it. their minds have been molded with the rhetoric.
Think about it, first 911, there are those who laugh at truthers struggling to call attention to where this nation is. They wave their flags and all is well in aba daba land. There are those to who do not give a twit one way or another as long as their lives are not effected. Then there are those who enjoy the fact, they beleive Bush is clever, whats a few thousand type, they beleive the USA are the winners, the power.
Recently as you know Powell confessed that the administration knew there was not a threat of WMd's, he openly admitted it.NO WMD's. Israel admitted to attacking the SS Liberty, Kissinger admitted publicaly we are in the war for oil. As you are aware these are treasonable offenses, do you think congress will act on this. The FBI are now attempting to spin a story that trucks were used and it 911 may have been a bombing, good spin huh.
What do I get out of all this , they are throwing in our faces they can do as they want, and we can shut up or eat shit. A democracy?

?
History repeats itself, during the Vietnam war they called the sheep, the silent majority, and the regime loved them, for they obeyed, waved a flag, and considered peace marches crazys and rabble rousers. Gabe , unfortunetly there are those who do not want to know, that is untill see their son comes home in a bag, or they are jobless, broke, and their mortgage is pulled.
Last week two woman campaigned for more funding for the war, they were mothers of sons killed in the war. I but threw up when I saw a picture of them waving flags over pictures of their sons, so proud they gave their lives for their country. Hard to beleive isn't it.
After all my ranting, do you get my drift, it is obvious to me anyway, we are considered the commoners, the pissants, the nothing but numbers.
The constituion and those who took an oath to defend it do not exist. Or are so few they can do nothing. It is not the red, white, and blue flying, its Bushes skull and bones.
We are not on the edge looking into the abyss, we are in the abyss.
Your thoughts are of the finest and honorable intentions, I admit I m a synic in this regard, the reason being after the war I marched, and I saw the people and faces of the majority, listened to their cursing, etc. etc.
I had thought a call of conscience would come around, the million killed in Iraq, our soldiers, but no. Example- The silent Majority raised more hell about the price of gas skyrocketing at the end of the war in Vietnam, than about the war.
It is pathetic, I share your concern and wish their was a way to get through to them. Human nature, can be a real bitch.
