I'm being told by a nurse who works for a private Hospital here in Houston, who always tells me to stop talking about "government conspiracies", telling me about the new federal program HCAHPS that she thinks will completely bankrupt the hospital she works, which I assume will make way for a federal takeover.

She brought home the survey and other documents for this new federal program HCAHPS .....where can I upload the scans?

If they are pictures then you can use flickr. If they are pdf's then you can try scribd.

Sounds similar to the "no child left behind" approach to education...  overpowering federal regulations that inhibit what it supposedly helps.
I remember my last year in school... the ENTIRE year EVERY SINGLE CLASS... was to prepare you for the federal test. Nevermind that it was 3-4 grade levels behind what they taught the previous year...  the entire curriculum became about passing that test.

Unfortunately, If meeting these arbitrary federal standards to acquire funding gets in the way of *healthcare* people don't drop out of school ...
they die.
