I reload .303 Brit., 12ga target, .44 Spl./mag., 7.62x25 Tok., and .38 Spl.  Will be adding more calibers soon.

I don't reload lead.  So any handloader can tell that I am not an OLD geezer.   Grin  But you can tell I am getting older because I am switching over to plated bullets.  Tongue

Getting the wingdings and doo-dads to start reloading.

I'll be doing .308 .30-06 7.62x39 5.56x45 9mmx19 .45 ACP and .40 S&W

It is going to cost a pretty penny to get that going...

I have a shooting buddy that has the press and everything. We haven't reloaded in a while but are getting ready to start again.

I load :
30-06 125gr and 150gr
.300 win mag
.308
.243
Working on getting the dies for .40 S&W, .45ACP probably more. Actually thinking about reloading and selling to people we know and shoot with.

I am a rookie so I am not good with remembering all the technical stuff. Right now I am the labor.

Why the heck do you want to use H110 for .44Spl.?  H110 should be used for .44Mag. in a rifle.  I think my Sierra or Hornady manuals list an H110 load for .44Spl.  I am at work at the moment and my Lyman manual does not list H110 for .44Spl.

For .44Spl. I use a 180gr. Sierra JHPs with 7.5gr. of 231.  I also use the Berry plated bullets in the same weight for the same load.

Vihtavouri and Winchester have online manuals.

Selling ammo reloaded without the benefit of the proper FFL for selling reloaded ammo is not something you talk about on a open forum .

ATF sets up lots of people, don't become one of them. Most people start loading for friends and then want to cash in and that is when they get busted. I let friends use my presses but I don't charge them even though I legally can, they enjiy learning the loading process.

If they wanna give me a few bucks for loading material they can and when I can I give them better than normal performance. Cashing in is what @ssholes do to their dick head buddies. Pitching in is what friends do for each other.

You supply the parts and I will work a load up for you if I am familiar with the cartridge.

I just put a big fat order in with Precision Delta.  I got 1K of rounds coming in each of 9mike mike and .45ACP.

Now, where the hell can I get small rifle primers for my .22 Hornet that I am going to order?  I am get'n another Ruger 77 action.

Hey Hunt.  So you an old farm boy?  I love country girls.  Just wish I could find one around here.

Powder here is no problem.  I picked up a pound of Win. 231 on Sat. and 2 pounds of IMR 4227 yesterday.  I have enough on-hand supplies to shoot for at least a year of two, maybe more.  Just need the small rifle primers.  The 4227 by the way is for my evil 10 1/2 AR that I am building up.  Need fast powder for the short barrel.

If your daughters are over 18 they are safe.   Grin

I have had NO problems get'n bullets for my 9 mike mike.  Precision Delta has tons of 9s.  I order from Natchez, Graff and Sons, Cabella's, Precision Delta and International Reloading.  I prefer plated and jacketed for my guns.

Maybe we need to sneak supplies to each other through UPS or Fed Ex?  I never claim HAZMAT or use the USPS for such things.  I figure if the truck blows up I will worry about that when it happens.

You need to re-word that.

The Remington Ammunition plant in Lonoke Arkansas is running 24/7 and putting out 2.2 million units of ammunition a day and can't keep up with demand.

Wow, I heard their normal production is 12/7.  Guess they upped it to 24/7 to try to keep up.

You can also use small rifle for small pistol loads. Makes it easy when you stock one primer for small rifle and pistol. Chamber pressures are close enough to not worry about it . Small rifle magnum primers may cause you problems in your pistol so test to make sure the firing pin will set it off as some wont.

What about large rifle and large pistol primers? Will they work also?

Never did it with the large primers. If I have some time I will try it and do a pressure test but I am buried so it may take a while.

They woke up a little late to screw us on this one. In the last 4 months alone we bought more than 7.4 billion rounds of ammo over on this side of the big pond. that dosn't include what we already had to start with! But yea, it sucks it will be hard to get more. However, like the line in the movie "You Keep What You Kill".

I have 500 - 1000+ primers in...

small pistol

large pistol

large pistol magnum

small rifle magnum

large rifle

12ga shot shell

I am going to pick up some large rifle magnums this week at the gun shop if they still have them.  They did on Tue.  I am also going to get a Ruger 77/7mm Mag. this year along with my .22 Hornet.
