I am of the thinking that NOTHING gets on TV like that unless someone wants it too. If Chuck is being used or is a NWO punk it doesn't matter we must not feed into the armed conflict talk. The scum really want that. If the people ever wanted to move the people should make that call if possible. Never go into an armed conflict based on the games of your enemy. Patriots need to not feed into this. If someone moves on the words of Chuck Norris they would be brain dead and frankly deserve what ever they get. Anything seen on Fox or Cnn should really not be moving real Patriots to arms. People hopefully know that right?

Right now the best option is to wake as many people up that you can. Things are happening at break neck speed now. THEY know that this new documentary will wake up a lot of folks, that is why they are trying to pull people into the trap of violence and make an example out of them.

I found my new Avatar!

wallpaper!  Cheesy

Ahhhh there it is. My first night I signed up here I got some PMs stating that if you go against the groupthink or offer a different point of view you get labeled a 'troll'. I was wondering when it was coming.

don't worry about it. before too long, you will have accused somebody too. took me a couple of months. even the mods are not safe.

looking ahead, somebody may have to run against arnie for president. mild mannered intelectuals will not cut the mustard. if not chuck, maybe stalone? what's his reputation? don't tell me, bilderberg cfr manchurian candidate.

anything on fox is dubious. hosting that "We Surround Them" show gives it ZERO credibility. if chucky is on that, and he filled in for ha ha hanity on hanity and coombes, he is either a tool or a fool. shame, because he seems like just the right guy.

i have to agree with most here, it seems like a honey pot for activists, and a provocation for violence. having said that, provocation can be paradoxically and dysfunctionally imobilising. the roman empire was finished by hordes of vandals, not bumper stickers.

Here we go.  We knew this was going to happen.  This author is a fool but we all knew this dumb story with Glenn Beck and Chuck Norris would lead to anyone for the Constitution and Bill of Rights to be labeled a hate group and racist.

Norris's Nutty War on President Obama

by earl ofari hutchinson     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

http://www.opednews.com/articles/Norris-s-Nutty-War-on-Pres-by-earl-ofari-hutchin-090312-980.html

Chuck Norris claims that thousands of right wing cell groups exist and will rebel against the U.S. government. It’s tempting to laugh away his vow to wage war against President Obama as either the crackpot ravings of a washed up Z grade martial arts actor. Or as a cheap promotional stunt to get his mug back in front of the cameras. Norris’s bellicose rants against Obama are nothing new and they have gotten wide play in a shrill horde of on line blogs and websites, including the popular right wing sounding board WorldNet Daily.com. Norris will culminate his holy war against Obama with a big recruiting pitch in a live telecast scheduled appropriately for Friday the 13th (March). He’ll call on thousands to “surround” Obama and the dark forces that seek to subvert God, country, and liberty.Unfortunately, Norris will have plenty of recruits.

Two weeks before he bellowed his anti-Obama tripe, the Southern Poverty Law Center once more sounded its own warning that hate groups are on the rise. There are now nearly a thousand of them, and they’re in just about every state. They aren't just the catalogue of usual suspects--- neo-Confederates, neo-Nazis, skinheads, Klansman, Aryan nation and Skinheads that exclusively roam around the Deep South. They’re all over. California leads the pack with nearly 100 identifiable groups. The Center fingered several dozen websites from the explicit Ihateobama.com site to groups with flag draped names like the sovereign citizen’s movement. Then there’s the legion of sites that busily spewed anti-Obama venom before the election and haven’t missed a beat since.

AntiObama.net A Clockwork Obama AgainstObama.com AudacityOfHypocrisy.com BlockBarack.com ChicagoAgainstObama.com DiscoverObama.com DontVoteObama.net DrNObama.com ExposeObama.com InvestigateBarackObama.blogspot.com JewsAgainstObama.com JustSayNoDeal.com MeetBarackObama.com No-bama.blogspot.com NobamaNetwork.com NobamaZone.com NoExperienceNoChange.org NoQuarterUSA.net ObamaExposed.blogspot.com ObamaBlog08.com Obama-Wire.com Obamaism.Blogspot.com ObamaNation.com ObamaTruth.org ObamaWho.wordpress.com ObamaWTF.blogspot.com Obamology.blogspot.com SavagePolitics.com SlickBarry.com Stop-Obama.org  TheRealBarackObama.wordpress.com   TopShelf51.wordpress.com

The majority of the hate groups and the wacky anti-Obama websites are like Norris just hot air talk and delusional conspiracy stuff. They all hotly deny that they advocate violence. Yet, the number of hate crimes according to FBI statistics, and that’s real violent crimes, edged up to over 7000 in 2007. The number of these crimes has been fairly consistent since the FBI began compiling hate crime statistics more than a decade ago. They’re just the tip of the hate iceberg. Experts say the number of hate crimes could be ten times higher since most hate crimes go unreported.

But even that in itself might not be cause for alarm since most of the hate groups are well known, tracked, and when their members commit crimes are hit hard with federal prosecutions. It certainly would not be enough to give much credence to Norris’s crackpot call. That is if times were better. But when jobs and homes are lost, and there’s fear and uncertainty that things could get worse, the ruthless search for scapegoats—illegal immigrants, gays, Jews, blacks, and a history making president—are on with a vengeance.

It takes little imagination to see that this could set off one emotionally unscrewed, gun culture obsessed looney. The murderous rampage by Alabama shooter Michael McLendon who was hell bent on wiping out a whole town was ample proof of that. Norris, and the legion of other right side gassers and bloggers, mask their bigot tinged appeals to the mob with the usual wink and nod patriotic sounding code words, slogans, and phrases. In his WorldNetDaily columns, Norris tosses out gems such as the “second American revolution,”  “new government,” the authority of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence,” “threat to religious freedom,” and “protect and save free enterprise” in his call for a citizen rising against President Obama.

The acidic dripping slogans just happen to be the same ones that stir the deep fury, hatred and resentment among a handful of the loose hinged malcontents and hate mongers. As has been amply documented, the thick list of fringe and hate groups as well as the hordes of unbalanced violence prone individuals running free in America can fill a telephone book.

The long history of hate violence in America further is more than enough to raise the antenna on the danger of violence against prominent political figures.Obama well knows the horrid violent history of America and the very real danger that violence poses to many Americans and especially a charismatic president who still energizes and excites millions and is determined to deliver on his promise of political change and implicitly racial change. The exact things that drives Norris nuts and many others that are nuts to cheer him.

Earl Ofari Hutchinson is an author and political analyst. His new book is How Obama Won (Middle Passage Press, January 2009).

And the Neo-Liberal commentators are having a field day (two sides of the same coin):

Tuesday, March 10, 2009
http://philly.com
What the Huck? Chuck Norris' roundhouse kick to the gut of American democracy

That was fast. It was just one year ago that right-wing martial arts guru Chuck Norris was a sought-after "get" for the GOP presidential candidates like Mike Huckabee, who paraded the star of "Walker, Texas Ranger" around the nation after the anti-abortion actor endorsed him in the primaries.

But now it's 2009, Barack Obama is in the White House, and the inventor of chun kuk do is preaching the martial art of insurrection against the U.S. government. He also wants to run for -- and no, I'm not making this up -- "the president of Texas.":

The call by some right wing leaders for rebellion and for the military to refuse the commander in chief’s orders is joined by Chuck Norris who claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution. During an appearance on the Glen Beck radio show he promised that if things get any worse from his point of view he may “run for president of Texas.” The martial artist/actor/activist claims that Texas was never formally a part of the United States in the first place and that if rebellion is to come through secession Texas would lead the way.

Norris really comes close to crossing a line with this:
Norris claims that; “Thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation.” The right wing cells will meet during a live telecast, "We Surround Them," on Friday March 13 at 5 p.m.

He closes with the words of Sam Houston followed by a plug for his next martial arts event.

“We view ourselves on the eve of battle."

You really have to almost laugh at some of this. For eight years, progressives were lambasted -- in the face of the most unpopular and arguably the worst American president since the Civil War -- as victims of "Bush derangement syndrome" or as "Kos Kooks." That was largely because in the face of a government that invaded another nation on bogus pretenses and violated laws on core issues like torture and domestic spying, a few people advocated impeachment, a deliberative process under the U.S. Constitution, and a tiny handful talked about things like moving to Canada.

Meanwhile, less than two months into the Obama administration, right-wingers are stocking the basement pantry, piling up the shotguns and organizing "cells," all with the help of a talk-show host who coincidentially became unhinged after he drove down the ratings at CNN Headline News, something that most people didn't think was possible. There's a lot to hash out in this country over the next few years but it's becoming more and more clear who respects the Constitution, and who does not.

Did my ears deceive me?  Chuck Norris just said on Alex's show that he did not say Right-Wing Cells?  We need a transcript of this!!!

He also said it on the Glen Beck show as well.  I have to find the video clip.

Yeah, strange that he said he didn't remember doing that.

I think what he meant to write was "meet up groups".  I say that because after visiting Glenn Beck's site and then clicking on my state, all of the groups were Glenn Beck "meet up groups".

Go to http://wesurroundthemmap.com/ and click your state.  All the groups in my state are "meet up groups"

Chuck needs to change that in the article.  This one mistake has helped cause people to freak out in the media.

Fair Tax sounds good but it's a pretext for enabling total tracking control by the NWO.

You'll have to use your tracking card even when you pay in cash.

Fair Tax is the Carbon Tax.

They are the same.

I like what Ron Paul said "We should get rid of the income tax and replace it with nothing."

I guess I'm skeptical. These guys (Beck and Norris) just all of the sudden come out talking about "rising up" and how there are "cells" that "surround them." They didn't support Ron Paul, which isn't absolutely necessarily but seems to be common for true freedom loving people. They seemed to have skipped the all the steps about waking up their fellow citizens and working to get good reps in office. They wernt straight to armed rebellion (almost). Strange.

I think overall, Chuck Norris is sincere but I think he is being deceived and suckered by Beck.

He is awake about 90% but he needs more of a shock to know that Glen Beck is a shill.  He adores the man and it makes me cringe. *SIGH*

Chuck just said that this whole thing was 'Beck's' idea. Becks idea for this, Becks idea for that.

On the Beck site it says they are not affiliated with the concept, they are just acting as a resource to connect people.

So... which is it. Was it Glenn Beck's idea, or not? Can't have it both ways.

The Patriots are being set up for a very nasty fall-when they follow Chuck Norris and Glen Beck to 'rebel' or whatever lame, useless stunt they got cooked up they're going to get crushed, and Obama will use that to activate his worshippers into a communist purge.  ...Those neocons don't even have one total gym among them-how they going to get their 300lb of diabetic fat to do one jump kick on a Obamabot?

Seriously, Chuck better do some explaining.  Then he'd better get a clue, cuz I don't care how many Chuck Norris facts are made, HE'S AN ACTOR

Goddamn I am sick to death of this Tavistock/Hollywood generated cult of celebrity-like these f**king thesbians know anything more than what they study for their f**king roles in their f**king propaganda.

And Huckabee needs be hung by his nuts.  With piano wire.  Dripping with formaldehyde.  Which would hurt like he's never felt hurt.  Because he's nothing but a Faux news stooge who helped divert people from Ron Paul in 08.  So did Chuck Norris.  "Thanks"-assholes.

Chuck get a hint:  you look pretty damn stupid when you talk without knowing what you're talking about.  At least for those that aren't enthralled by your celebrity.

16th Amendment improperly ratified.‏

This is my absolute favorite anti-income-tax argument. Most claims that Americans aren't required to pay income tax rely on legal interpretations so tortured only a tax resister could possibly believe them. But the Ohio thing has just enough plausibility to give even sane people pause.
It all started when Ohio was preparing to celebrate the 150th anniversary of its admission to the Union in 1953. Researchers looking for the original statehood documents discovered there'd been a little oversight. While Congress had approved Ohio's boundaries and constitution, it had never passed a resolution formally admitting the future land of the Buckeyes. Technically, therefore, Ohio was not a state.
Predictably, when this came to light it was the subject of much merriment. One senator joshingly suggested that his colleagues from Ohio were drawing federal paychecks under false pretenses.
But Ohio congressman George Bender thought it was no laughing matter. He introduced a bill in Congress to admit Ohio to the Union retroactive to March 1, 1803. At a special session at the old state capital in Chillicothe the Ohio state legislature approved a new petition for statehood that was delivered to Washington on horseback. Congress subsequently passed a joint resolution, and President Eisenhower, after a few more jokes, signed it on August 7, 1953.
But then the tax resisters got to work. They argued that since Ohio wasn't officially a state until 1953, its ratification of the 16th Amendment in 1911 was invalid, and thus Congress had no authority to enact an income tax.
Baloney, argued rational folk. A sufficient number of states voted for ratification even if you don't count Ohio.
OK, said the resisters, but the proposed amendment had been introduced to Congress by the administration of William H. Taft. Taft had been born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1857. The Constitution requires that presidents be natural-born citizens of the United States. Since Ohio was not a state in 1857, Taft was not a natural-born citizen, could not legally be president, and could not legally introduce the 16th Amendment. (Presumably one would also have problems with anything done by presidents Grant, Hayes, Garfield, B. Harrison, McKinley, and Harding, who were also born in Ohio.)
Get off it, the rationalists replied. The 1953 resolution retroactively admitted Ohio as of 1803, thereby rendering all subsequent events copacetic.
Uh-uh, said the resisters. The constitution says the Congress shall make no ex post facto law. That means no retroactive admissions to statehood.
Uh, we'll get back to you on that, said the rationalists.
A call to the IRS elicited the following official statement: "The courts have . . . rejected claims that the Sixteenth Amendment . . . was not properly ratified. . . . In Porth v. Brodrick, 214 F.2d 925 (10th Circuit 1954), the court dismissed an attack on the Sixteenth Amendment as being 'clearly unsubstantial and without merit,' as well as 'far fetched and frivolous.'"
Just one problem. The Porth decision didn't specifically address the Ohio argument. It just sort of spluttered that attacks on the 16th Amendment were stupid.
OK, they're stupid. But great matters have turned on seemingly sillier points of law. It's not like the Ohio argument couldn't have been defeated on the merits. One suspects that from a legal standpoint "ex post facto" doesn't mean exactly the same thing as "retroactive." And of course the weight of 150 years of history, during which time everyone thought Ohio had been properly admitted, ought to count for something.
I'm not defending the crackpots. But if you're a parent you recognize that "because I said so" isn't much of an argument. Guess it's different if you're a judge.

So... which is it. Was it Glenn Beck's idea, or not? Can't have it both ways.

Glenn Beck came up with the idea that these people need to connect. You see that as a bad thing?

Oh no!!!! People are uniting against government corruption!!! Oh no!!  Roll Eyes

I posted a link to Beck's webpage to point out his new "project" on my local board -- I got attacked right away - go figure!

I think Chuck Norris is truly sincere. I just hope Beck is not using him for some other agenda.

Chuck Norris said himself that this wasn't his idea but BECKS idea and that when asked about it, specifically, by Alex he said Beck can explain it a lot better than him.

Tune in to Glen Beck today at 4:00 CST.

I can't believe some people are buying this BS. Beck = Foxnews, enough said.

Seems small parts of the truth movement are falling for some kind of Republican "Hope" message. Obama has taught them well.
