A man has been arrested and remanded in custody in Ireland, pending extradition to the UK on a European Arrest Warrent.  His alleged heinous crime?  Shock and Horror!

Sending DVDs throught the post!

What a danger to the population of Ireland he must be - lock up that scumbag - not!
Are DVDs made from anthrax now?
These were ordinary DVDs - not boobytrapped, exploding DVDs!

Good question - I don't know.

Perhaps he sat in on the trial (it was very long, drawn out and complex so he would have had a lot of time to find it) or just knew him/her, or followed them home?

He may have sent the DVDs to the court itself but

"The British authorities claim copies of the DVD were sent, in packaging with Irish postal marks, between September 2007 and December 2007 to five relatives of people who had been killed during the bombing."

Looks like he may have just sent copies to some of the victims' relatives with instructions to pass them to the judge and jury foreman? Or they got frightened/offended by the film and gave them to the jury foreman and judge.

He probably should have just sent copies of this film to the defence lawyers.
