That file size is insane
After recording it i tried taking the ads out but it was way too tricky, and i also realize the live stream is better quality than AJ's live stream so it's gotta be more than 64K. I'd consider puttin' it up in 96K, but to be honest 128 is the future with net speeds increasing and storage prices falling. There's at least one AJ show on pp.tv in 128K and it sound's great. Really, the yahoo mp3 looks like this : MPEG Audio Layer 3 16000Hz mono 24Kbps [Audio] where the new one looks like this : MPEG Audio Layer 3 44100Hz stereo 128Kbps [Audio] Mono, Ha Ha, what a joke. |

I listen many times over too, his Aquarian do as thou wilst stuff is great and he identified this week why Tuesday is the day of business for the elite.

To Flynn regarding Gary "Spaceman" Bell:
Thanks for always sharing your links to Gary Bell's show. I've now caught myself up since taking a one month break. I have to say, its fun listening to "Spaceman" while at the same time scrambling online to find where he's reading his scripts from. Sometimes he's reciting a Wikipedia entry on a topic for 30 minutes, or sometimes he's taking the material from recent writings by highly questionable writers. But almost always, he's simply reading from different books or articles written by other people pretty much the whole show each week. Its interesting to learn which materials Bell chooses to include.

I don't see the need to have super duper HQ audio for spoken word stuff. True, Gary does read facts from Wiki and other sources, but I wouldn't say "it's written by other people for the whole show". Alex reads sources too. If you take the show as a whole, it's very informative. |
