two questions regarding obama's speech last night:
1) why were there boo's when obama mentioned earmarks? I know there is a difference in opinion on a use-it-or-loose it policy on spending, but i would like more info on this.
2) "no more highschool drop outs!!"... "unacceptable to your country"...what the hell does that mean?

1. earmarks are the fake devil set up to diffuse anger at government. earmarks account for tiddlysquat (a few billion maybe). The illegal wars, bailouts, fake education, fake healthcare, and fake retirement account for over $100 Trillion in theft by Rockefeller/Rothschild. 2. Preparing for martial law and death camps for the non-"educated"

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

still need to do research on question 1...but i figured for question two, that just meant that high-school dropouts were instantly conscripted.

I don't know but I can't wait for Alex to break it down today if he does so, which I'm sure he will. Point out the doublethinks, lies, etc. An epic show it will be. I didn't even want to listen to it last night while I was driving to meet up with friends, but for some reason I listened for 30 minutes, and yea I heard the HS school part also. Makes me glad I never have to go back considering how shitty it is now. Even when I graduated in '05, the HS where I was, we're in a town with a major Air Force Base. Immediately following 9-11, we had to have ID cards, and the works. If u didn't have your ID card, u couldn't get in nor out, or even get lunch if u buy it from the school.

Earmarks are a lame attempt to direct where the wasted money will be spent. Congressmen try to earmark money for projects that will benefit their biggest corporate contributor. Plus, it gives them a solid number to reference when campaigning... "I helped direct $1 million dollars to build CPS facilities for the children of this state." One time at death camp...

true, but we have the right to be a f**k up in this country. so you'll be a failure...not being one should not be mandated. by the way, michael dell dropped out of college. lots of successful people have not finished high school.

I disagree. You don't know people's situations man. If you are living in poverty, and you have to choose, get a job so you can help your brother(s) and/or sister(s) stay alive, while your single mom is out working 3 jobs, or go to school I don't think that is much of a choice. Now, apparently, it is your fault for being born into poverty. Helping people get out of the vicious circle of poverty, rather than condemning them for it, is the only solution. That being said, I'm not surprised by this move at all. Hitler needed a scapegoat for his death camps, and now Obama is making one, the uneducated. It's funny, because some of the greatest minds the world has ever seen were highschool/college drop outs. Sometimes, people simply can't afford to go to school, does that make them horrible people?

2) "no more highschool drop outs!!"... "unacceptable to your country"...what the hell does that mean?
Let’s look at this objectively, shall we? http://www.education-reform.net/dropouts2.htmH.G. Wells, Andrew Jackson, Jack London, Jim Clark (Founder of Netscape and first Internet BILLIONAIRE), Jimmy Dean (sausage guy), Patrick Henry, Humphrey Bogart, Sean Connery, Robert De Niro. The list goes on, and on, and on. Yep, these folks failed their countries. Does anyone else see this guy as the goram moron he is yet? http://www.increasebrainpower.com/high-school-dropouts.htmlAlso for consideration: Richard Branson... Billionaire British businessman. George Carlin... Comedian. Jim Carrey... Comedian and actor. Tom Cruise... Actor George Eastman... Founder of the Kodak company. Albert Einstein... Mathematician. Michael J. Fox... Actor. George Gershwin... Composer Wright brothers... Inventors of the airplane. Peter Jennings... News anchor and reporter. Billy Joel... Singer. Keanu Reeves... Actor. Thomas Sowell... Economist, author and political commentator. Quentin Tarantino... Movie director. Dave Thomas... Founder of Wendy's restaurant chain. Uma Thurman... Actress. Randy Travis... Country music singer. John Travolta... Actor, airline pilot. Ansel Adams... Photographer, author. Bryan Adams... Songwriter, singer. Jack Albertson... Oscar-winning actor. Peter Allen... Australian songwriter, composer, singer. Dhirubhai Ambani... Billionaire Indian businessman. I have no other way to put this than the following: Anyone who believe's Obama's bullshit that anyone who dropped out of high school has automatically failed their country, is f**king brain dead. Some of the most highly educated patriots I know are high school dropouts, and are some of the few people that DON'T have their heads firmly up their asses. Unlike several family members of mine who have PhDs, and have less than 3 days food and water on hand, and who will most likely be amongst the first to die what SHTF. A diploma or degree does not equal, nor is it a suitable replacement for, native intelligence.

Seriously, you don't learn anything useful there, and every test is simply measuring one's ability at short term memory. I have felt that my college [USF or University of South Florida] is nothing but a money making institution for alums. They charge out the ass for anything and everything. Oh you want to park, that's $250 a semester. Oh you want a mandatory school ID? $25 Oh you need scantrons for your test, you'll have to supply your own, which you can buy from the school bookstore for $5. Don't even get me started on the text book racket - They add or change 1 chapter and charge you another $300 for the same damn book!

Highschool is a big waste of time. Drop out -- but stay in if you aren't smart enough to make it on your own without a diploma.

i taught myself programming when i was 11. i high school and college was just a formality for me. re-edit: i have learned more about the constitution and government from this forum and the ron paul movement than i ever did in class, by the way.
