Well as long as they can use Israel as a leverage to stir up the Middle-East they are and they will even stimulate this extreme posturing of Israel.
Remember that in WOII the allies did absolutely nothing to help the Jews being exterminated in the factories of death although they knew what was going on.
You have to ask yourself, why?
