So I was catching up on the Daily Show tonight (21st), and noticed something that seemed very odd in the intro. I took it back and after looking again I assumed that it was an attempt at some sneaky Obama subliminals. Even my wife that was sitting next to me said that she did not notice.
Upon checking I have found that Obamoro is actually a place (21st):
So I thought that I had better go back and have a look and see what else I have missed.
Obamla is a place also, so far they are both in Nigeria (19th):
But hang on, is Obama a place? Kinda impossible to tell without already knowing now the internets belongs to Obama the man (22nd):
You can see other ones, but you cannot really make them out.
So looking further back it seems that I have been missing a theme. You can see that they have previously had a bunch of places that start with Bush, first show of the new year had a New theme. They currently seem to be on a Cow related theme for some reason.
I am kinda ashamed that I have missed this, cannot be bothered to find out how long this has been going on for. When they first changed the intro I was watching like a hawk, I did not see anything back then. There does seem to be a lot of unnecessary things in that into, and when there are unnecessary things I always try to find some kind of symbolism.
I always thought that I was pretty good at staying awake while watching TV and movies, but I guess that I still have some ways to go.
So was anyone else aware of this?
