The Charlottesville Police Department is corrupt and the Police Chief, Tim Longo either needs to resign or submit to an independent, polygraph reexamination for detective, supervisors, and all management personnel.
The Charlottesville Police Department has felons in their ranks. I know because I had felonies committed against me and had my Constitutional Rights trampled.... I had my conversation with my attorney video recorded (illegal wiretapping) and then they distributed it (illegal wiretapping) to the prosecutors office. These officers are the "worst of the worst," and are involved in gambling, prostitution, and narcotics protection rackets.
I will get justice.... I have hired a lawyer that will be dropping by the City Attorney's Office and then filing a civil law suit in federal court. In many ways, I hope they do not settle, because then I will have these thugs arrested and tried in criminal court as well, and everything will come out and be on the news.
For now, please sign the petition for Gerry Mitchell. Gerry Mitchell was hit by a police officer in a crosswalk in his wheelchair and written a ticket in the hospital. Chief Longo then told the Charlottesville City Counsel "there were no witnesses," though two men asked repeatedly to give statements and were ignored. Then, one of the witnesses was charged with writting a bad check (after almost a year and his oversight was fixed long before the incident).... witness intimidation at its best.
