I Wanna Know Where The Gold's At!

« on: January 21, 2009, 08:36:48 AM »

I was just listening to the Alex Jones show from yesterday and there was a guy on the phone suggesting that there should be something like Alex Jones Organic Tea to sell. Well I kinda think that that's a good idea, but we need the right fund raising product.

I suggest, a distribution license to sell his books and videos - where a percentage of the profits you generate go back into infowars. I know this would be a big hit in foreign countries (such as where I live in the UK) where large international shipping charges stop me ordering as much stuff as I would like to order.

Isn't there some sales and marketing people out there that could design a good franchise style business that people could get into, not only to help themselves and others (by waking them up) but the infowars team as well?

A distribution license is dangerous, because companies will want total rights over it, so will be able to change the content (possible)

OR just not sell them period (very likely).

It's like what they did with Jesse Ventura. They gave him a show on MSNBC, cancelled it after a few months, and then prevented him from being on TV by locking him into a contact.

It's a dangerous game. Independence from big distribution companies is the future anyway.

Generally though... a product to sell... several products to sell..

-Alex Jones Organic Coffee
-Alex Jones Organic Tea
-Alex Jones Organic Underwear (ok, maybe not)

whatever, something people can sell or buy and then give as gifts. Some people wont read an email you send them, some people wont watch a DVD you give them, but if you give them a pound of good organic coffee, they'll make some and read the label and read a tidbit of fact about 911 or the London Bombings on 5/5 or whatever fact Alex can put on the label and next thing you know those people are going to go to his website and read articles and learn.

I know its not much, but my wi-fi connection is labeled "infowars.com" so anyone near me trying to log on to a wifi will see mine. Its encrypted, but they'll still see it. Maybe they wont type in the website right away but each time they try to find a connection, they'll see infowars.com and some day they'll check it out.

All Infowars needs to do is own the distribution rights license themselves and only license them out on monthly, quarterly or annual contracts - then they can lease them to people who want to produce their own official copies of his films to sell to people at a rate and profit margin that can be set by Infowars themselves and to which people will have to abide by in order to maintain their rights license. They can also issue contractual pointers on packaging and disk quality to make sure their versions match up to the ones sold on the infowars shop.
