I have downloaded the divX versions of Fabled Enemies and Truth Rising and they worked great in my DVD player.  But I downloaded Terrorstorm and converted it to divX and the sound is totally off.  I then tried to just burn the normal downloaded version to a DVD but it won't play in my DVD player.  I'm kindof an idiot when it comes to this stuff...can anyone help?

Thanks

What software are you using?  Try using Convertxtodvd or the free DVDflick.  Learn about all the settings in the readme files.

nero

nero has some software, it converts divx to dvd format, takes about a hour or 2, then burns to cd, which takes another 15 minutes

What format is the best/most common for the typical DVD player?  If I give copies of the movies to friends I don't want them to say "My DVD player won't recognize it". (i.e. .MOV .DVD .WMV etc.)
