Citizens of the World, lend me your ears!
You know what I think it's time for?
A GLOBAL Declaration of Independence!
As clearly enumerated in the United States Constitution, your inalienable rights are not granted to you by government, they are granted to you by your Creator, or speaking in a strictly secular manner (if that makes you more comfortable), they are your rights simply by virtue of being alive. That would naturally include all humans in the entire world, not just Americans.
All the people of the world can exercise these rights by simply making the decision to do so, and at that point they are truly free. I've come to realize that exercising your inalienable rights makes you Free, even if in the next moment you are grabbed, jailed, beat down, tortured, or killed. The Freedom comes from your willingness to be Free, not from any government. When you can act in complete Freedom even though the consequences may be Death or worse, there is no longer any threat or coercion that can keep you down. Like Natalie Portman's character in "V for Vendetta" when she was tortured for information and would not submit, but chose death instead. That's the Freedom that I mean. I believe that this is part of what is meant by eastern traditions when they refer to Enlightenment as "Liberation". Or perhaps "Know the Truth and the Truth shall set you Free". The Truth is that you are Free the moment you decide that you are going to be Free. FREE, NO MATTER WHAT.
I've been thinking about this for a while.
How about a Free Global society? How about a Global society that recognized the Truth of inalienable rights and Individual Freedom? You could join this new "Nation" simply by stating that you have done so, and stand tall to face the consequences, if any, secure in the fact that you are now Free, and if necessary you will die a Free man or woman. The state motto of New Hampshire is "Live Free or Die". Now that's a real commitment, and makes you a very dangerous adversary, and an amazingly courageous and potentially highly Free and creative individual. This creativity and courage creates amazing people, ideas, economies, inventions, and encourages hard work and discipline, because what you create belongs to YOU, and none other.
All who are currently aware of, and fighting against the New World Order could join right away, if they wished.
Any further ideas or extrapolations on this idea are welcome and appreciated. Just imagine what this could turn into if it took off. It could become something glorious and beautiful beyond all imagining. Ideas are truly bulletproof.
Now THAT would be a Grand Experiment!
The very idea will, and is now, striking terror into the heart of the New World Order.
Think about it.
Really try to envision what all of this could mean.
