If they march up on my doorstep to MAKE me volunteer,

I just heard the first "Selective Service" announcement on the radio today.

Teenagers were the narrators, going back and forth with high energy male/female dialog...

"Are you over the age of eighteen?"

"Did you know it is the law that you must register with the selective service?"

"We did and it is great!"

"No need to worry, there is no draft.  But, it is the right thing to do and it is the law."

"Also, you could be denied college loans or adult education if you do not register."

"And it is the law."

"So do it now, go to sss.gov and register."

"It is easy. And it is the law."
