http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQyIKyd2gqA

About 50 seconds into this video, from Korean tv, a young girl repeatedly stands in front of an Israeli soldier about to fire on teenaged Arab boys demonstrating with a few throwing rocks.  The girl tells the soldiers "you're shooting at children...there is no one to shoot here...just pull back".  She does not attempt to stop the soldiers firing tear gas, but everytime a soldier puts his M-16 in the ready to fire position, this brave young women literally steps in front of the rifle to block the path of the bullet.  She probably saved the lives of one or more Palestinian boys.  This may be from Gaza or the West Bank, I don't know which it is, or if it happened recently or years ago.  She seems to have an American accent, and looks like she may be Arab-American, or maybe Greek or Italian heritage.

Whoever she is, she should be applauded for standing up to tyranny, and putting her life on the line to save others.  She is lucky she was not murdered like Rachel Corrie, and American citizen killed by an Israel bulldozer.

Very touching,I deeply mourn the palestinian people the more I've observed the palestinian situation in the last 25 years or so the more I've begun to think this people will soon be exterminated.Something must be done.

Right, one very brave and courageous young lady! Wonder if the fact that the camera was running is the reason they didn't just shoot her?

But there are so many cases where people do get beat down by the police/ military in front of the camera, I guess maybe they just didn't want a total scandal? Cuz that wouldv'e cause a scandal.

Yes and that would have been horrible if they would've shot her dead but hell, all those innocent babies that are being murdered along with some of the mothers is an incredible scandal (crimes against humanity) in itself!

Guys are pretty brain damaged sniping kids shooting women and children randomly.

Nothing heroic to find in those murdering black troops.

That is unbelievable, she's arabic but she has definitely lived in the U.S. for a long time to acquire that accent.

I think they didn't shoot because she got to them.  She was so sincere and totally unafraid of them.  I think they saw themselves through her honest eyes and knew she was right.  "there's no one to shoot"

That's what it looks like, no body likes war. But as you know, in military , and the IDF specifically, you obey your command and do not ask questions. The soldiers aren't all evil, they are afraid of being jailed for not fighting. The blame is to be put on the Israeli Government, and those foreign criminals who fund, and setup these events to create war.

Wow. What courage.

I agree, the camera saved her life and made those two soldiers stand there and think about what they were doing, hopefully.

Bless her soul!  Courage like that what will change the world...opening the eyes of the hearts of those who seem heartless.

No fear of death, no attachment for the material body, and offering her life to save others.  That is so commendable and praise worthy.

That takes some guts. However I suspect they had rubber bullets, I heard they don't use real bullets anymore on stonethrowers because it causes too much of a political baklash.

No they also use real bullets...they have shot and killed many protestors and stone throwers in both the West Bank and Gaza.  Also the rubber bullets only fire if a device is attached to the rifle, and these rifles don't have the device.  Over 800 people have died in Gaza, including over 200 children.

Yes, I'm sure they had rubber bullets but make no mistake rubber bullets have lethal potential at short range. They certainly can cause serious injury. Israeli doctors have warned against their use for the very reason that they can kill and maim.

In any case,  the Israeli use of rubber bullets is a myth. Israeli rubber bullets are actually steel bullets with a thin rubber coating. The U.S. State Department actually went so far as to be somewhat critical of Israeli soldiers' use of "rubber" bullets.

From the 1998 Report on Human Rights Practices:

Quote
Israeli soldiers and police sometimes used live ammunition or rubber-coated metal bullets, which can be lethal, in situations other than when their lives were in danger and sometimes shot suspects in the upper body and head. During the year, Israeli soldiers shot in the head and killed, with rubber-coated metal bullets, three Palestinians under the age of 18.

Thanks for the info.  I was also thinking of the large riot control rubber bullets which can be fired out of the M203 grenade launcher attached to the bottom of an M16.  I didn't know about the type you are talking about ... literally a sugar coating that sounds better for PR purposes but when fired at the head is almost as deadly as a regular bullet.

Sometimes we need things to inspire us, and I am glad that many who saw this video and left comments were inspired.  People like this young (Arab-American?) girl remind us that we can all stand up, take risks and fight for what is right.

I wonder how many mind control slaves that go to John Hagee's church would get a bitch-slap wake up call from seeing that video.   Someone should burn this video to disc and mail it to Hagee, with a message that says "This girl > you."

Not one person here expressed interest in the deaths of Israeli Children and Women by suicide bombers and rockets. I will say i feel bad for the poor Israel civilians that have to live next to people like this. This is played up you have to root for one side and i see most people root for the poor Palestinians. Funny thing was never a Palestinian nation so i don't know what there fighting for?

You know cj you have a misquote in your sig about how Zionism (or non-secular governing) should be wiped from the pages of history.

Palestinians are second class citizens fighting for freedom in the nation they've lived in for 100s of years. Israelis on the other hand can live in any first world country they want but choose to live in the desert and act as base/invasion point for the NWO. The two sides are not even remotely comparable.

It would be like siding with the Chinese if they landed and Obama/UN said, "Well you owe the debt so just let them settle and claim whatever while machine gunning you down and bulldozing your home. Oh and ancient Chinese scrolls from the Dragon Spirit gave them reign over this land."

There was never a Palestinian nation. Palestine was just a province never a nation of it's own so how can they be Israel be occupying a nation that never existed? It was ruled by the British from WW1 till 1948 where the Israelis came in and settled like they have been doing the thousands and thousands of years. Before the British controlled that region is was under Ottoman rule for damn near 700 years. Other historical records besides the Bible or Torah prove that the Israelis lived there more then 2000 years ago. It would not be the same thing as if China invaded america and started occupying.

lol you're repeating propaganda.

You really think the Jews today are ethnically the same Jews from 2000 years ago--they just took a vacation? Oh and the area was uninhabited until Jews came there  Roll Eyes Right, that's why the Jews were first invited to live there by the local arabs until they invaded.

It would be the same thing because you might as well be arguing for Aztlan or more like giving back the Roman Empire or Alexander the Great's Kingdom to Macedonia. The Jews lost the territory and they have no claim--there is no legal claim based on the Bible or Torah you can make in the civilized world--and no copyright/property right that lasts over 2000 years.  Roll Eyes

I can't believe you're actually trying to argue the absurdity of this.

We might as well say the Jews have no rights because they rejected Christ so they are the Children of the Devil and are all going to Hell.  Roll Eyes
