Ah I see now. If you sacrifice for the burger you have invested your time and energy and even emotions into it at some level. Therefore you will be loyal to that brand because it is harder to admit later that what you invested was unjustified or wrong and you will continue to buy the whopper so you don't feel stupid. Very clever.
