Wow!!! they have the nerve to call them the "plutocrats" right in our face. Although most of the poeple on the list aren't The REAL Plutocrats, but still....

Also, Money manager John Paulson made $1 billion short-selling subprime credit this summer.

New List of Forbes 400
==================

Quote
One billion dollars is no longer enough. The price of admission to this, the 25th anniversary edition of the Forbes 400, is $1.3 billion, up $300 million from last year. The collective net worth of the nation's mightiest plutocrats rose $290 billion to $1.54 trillion.

Wall Street led the charge, despite this summer's market jitters. Nearly half of the 45 new members made their fortunes in hedge funds and private equity. Money manager John Paulson joins the list after pocketing more than $1 billion short-selling subprime credit this summer.

It never ceases to amaze me how blatant THEY (The Hierarchy Enslaving You) are becoming.

For those unfamiliar with the term, here are the 3 listed definitions for 'plutocracy':
   1. Government by the wealthy.
   2. A wealthy class that controls a government.
   3. A government or state in which the wealthy rule.

There are no other 'interpretations'; it's cut and dry... they are throwing it in our face (I have a feeling they anticipate that most people don't know what a plutocrat is, seeing as 1 in 5 can't point out the U.S. on a map.... my God we are in trouble).

Gee, what a surprise?

The banks make money writing fraudulent mortgages, then the "money managers" cash in 3 years later.  I wonder how much of a kickback the banks got from him.
