Here is some detail on the guy and a lot say he is nothing more than a occultist disinformation agent. Kind of like the current news media will give you some of the truth but lie or spin the rest to their own agenda.

I have read one of his books, "food of the gods" and a bit of another one of his "infinite landscape" but it was a bit over my head and the books both got lost somewhere along the way.  I certainly do not believe him to be a disinfo agent. He's injested some of the most mind altering substances known and has been given the ability to see the world from a different vantage point.

He came up with an interesting concept called "time wave zero" look it up

McKenna was a brilliant guy - very much pro-freedom, anti-war and anti-police state.  he advocated intelligent use of psychedelic drugs for mind expansion.  He wrote about a lot of interesting things.  Bill Hicks mentions him in some of his stuff.  he died much to young.

some people like him, some people don't.
He may say some things you don't agree with but theres no harm in listening to more of what he has to say if you like what you've heard os far.
Theres a lot of recordings of conferences he did out there on the web, check the sites Deoxy, the podcast the Psychedalic saloon has a lot of his stuff on it, or torrent sites.
A real good one though, are his two appearances on coast to coast am with Art Bell, 97 and 98 i believe they were. They should be easy to get on p2p or torrents. He answers a whole lot of questions over a wide range of topics. some more metaphysical than others.

I don't believe 100% in what he has to say, he seems to be very convinced of the realness of his DMT experiences, he seems to be a very smart man so i can't figure out why he seems so convinced, or maybe its just how i interpret what he's saying. I havent read any of his books.

He does go after a lot of the sacred cows of culture, like the youtube clip you included, that upsets alot of people, especially those who are more inclined to religious dogma, of which there are many on this board.
But just because someone doesnt agree 100% with you, doesnt mean they're an agent of disinfo. People are way too quick to use those words on here. + it gives the elite more power than they have, does everyone have to be controlled, can't there just be a guy out there who took too many drugs and walks around saying crazy things?
