Why Obama is Silent on Gaza

http://www.blacklistednews.com/news-2864-0-5-5--.html

If you look a few months back to when Obama was speaking at AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, you’ll find your reasons why he is silent on the current Gaza situation. As of right now, the Israeli government is invading and pillaging Gaza and not a word from Obama. His spokesman David Axelrod claims that he isn’t commenting because “..There is only one president at a time,” yet that didnt stop him with nearly every other issue such as the Mumbai attacks, and the Russia/Georgia conflict. Here is why:

At the AIPAC in mid 2008, Obama speaks of a “strong commitment to make sure that the bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable today, tomorrow and forever.” Implying that no matter what war crimes and atrocities the government of israel commits, the United States run by Obama will always lend support. “We must preserve our total commitment to our unique defense relationship with Israel by fully funding military assistance and continuing work on the Arrow and related missile defense programs..”

Here are other quotes from Obamas AIPAC speech, illustrating exactly why he is not saying anything about the Gaza attack. Read the full speech by Obama at AIPAC here.

“..As president I will never compromise when it comes to Israel’s security.”

“I will bring to the White House an unshakeable commitment to Israel’s security. That starts with ensuring Israel’s qualitative military advantage. I will ensure that Israel can defend itself from any threat — from Gaza to Tehran. Defense cooperation between the United States and Israel is a model of success, and must be deepened. As president, I will implement a Memorandum of Understanding that provides $30 billion in assistance to Israel over the next decade — investments to Israel’s security that will not be tied to any other nation.”

“I will strongly urge Arab governments to take steps to normalize relations with Israel, and to fulfill their responsibility to pressure extremists and provide real support for President Abbas and Prime Minister Fayyad. Egypt must cut off the smuggling of weapons into Gaza.”
“Let me be clear. Israel’s security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable. The Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive, and that allows them to prosper — but any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel’s identity as a Jewish state, with secure, recognized and defensible borders. Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.”

“We must never force Israel to the negotiating table, but neither should we ever block negotiations when Israel’s leaders decide that they may serve Israeli interests. As president, I will do whatever I can to help Israel succeed in these negotiations.”
“Finally, let there be no doubt: I will always keep the threat of military action on the table to defend our security and our ally Israel.”

That change Obama said he was bringing? Here what he tells his AIPAC audience what it really means: “That is the change we need in our foreign policy. Change that restores American power and influence. Change accompanied by a pledge that I will make known to allies and adversaries alike: that America maintains an unwavering friendship with Israel, and an unshakeable commitment to its security.”

Then you look at Obamas first appointment: Rahm Emanuel, a dual Israeli citizen and son of a zionist terrorist. Rahm is known for sending rotten fish to his enemies. He is also well known for standing up during a party and shouting a list of his enemies and yelling “DEAD! .. DEAD! .. DEAD!” while stabbing a knife into the table after every name. Source: rollingstone.com

Rahms father was “a member of the Zionist terrorist group Irgun, which was responsible for bombing hotels, marketplaces as well as the infamous Deir Yassin massacre, in which hundreds of Palestinian villagers were slaughtered.” Rahms finger was also cut off like something you would see in a mobster movie for disappointing the mob boss.

Joe Biden, VP pick and admitted zionist is flagrantly pro Israel and was even jokingly accused of running for VP of Israel after a speech he gave in Florida. There he said he would help secure Israel, and that “I would not have given up that job to be Barack Obama’s vice president if I didn’t in my gut and in my heart and in my head know that Barack Obama is exactly where I am on Israel. And he is.”

The other members of Obamas cabinet are warhawks, globalists, and bilderbergers who support Israel unquestionably.
With the Gaza silence explained in Obama’s own words and with his staff picks, maybe it can begin to sink in to the people who once supported Obama: He is nothing but more of the same, especially on Israel. Lets hope the good people of Israel can rid themselves of the taint their corrupt government is giving them and the region, as it will undoubtably lead to the destruction of both sides.

Over 20,000 Israeli troops enter Gaza

More than 20,000 Israel Defence Forces troops have entered the Gaza Strip as part of the long-anticipated ground offensive to rout Hamas militants inside the tiny Palestinian territory.

The second stage of Operation Cast Lead to end rocket attacks by Gaza militants on southern Israeli cities began under cover of darkness about 8pm Israeli time (5am on Sunday AEST).

Troops entered Gaza at the northern end of the Gaza Strip, and included members of the infantry, tank units, engineering forces,
artillery and intelligence.

The Israeli Air Force and Navy provided support from the air and sea.

IDF spokeswoman Major Avital Leibovitch said the objective was "to destroy the Hamas terror infrastructure in the area of operations".

"We are going to take some of the launch areas used by Hamas," she said.

IDF spokesman Captain Benjamin Rutland told the Herald that, as of 8.30am Australian time, there had been Israeli casualties.

Captain Rutland said he was unable to comment on the number of casualties suffered by Hamas militants.

"Hamas has built a significant infrastructure inside Gaza involving tunnels and underground weapons silos similar to that built by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon," Captain Rutland said.

"Not all of these facilities can be destroyed from the air and that is the reason that we are implementing a ground operation."

He said IDF troops were focused on rocket launching zones and had no intention of reoccupying Gaza.

Israel's Channel 2 television network said that initial reports from both Israel and Gaza indicated that IDF troops had already killed dozens of Hamas gunmen since the ground operation began.

A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confirmed that the call-up of thousands of extra troops had already begun.

Earlier, the IDF released a statement confirming the start of the operation, which it said was aimed at bringing "about an improved and more stable security situation for residents of southern Israel over the long term".

"Large numbers of forces are taking part in this stage of the operation including infantry, tanks, engineering forces, artillery and
intelligence with the support of the Israel Air Force, Israel Navy, Israel Security Agency and other security agencies," the statement said.

In a televised address carried live on Israeli networks, Defence Minister Ehud Barak said he expected the ground operation to last for several days, and that it signalled difficult days ahead for Israeli residents of the south of Israel.

"This will not be short. This will not be easy. I do not wish to delude anyone," Mr Barak said.

"Our aim is to force Hamas to stop its hostile activity and to bring about a significant change," Mr Barak said.

"We have carefully weighed our options," he said. "We have restrained ourselves for a long time but now we have to do what must be done [for peace and tranquillity]."

Before the invasion began, the IDF intensified shelling of targets in the areas where the troops entered the Gaza Strip.

Armour-plated bulldozers were also sent in ahead of the troops to try to limit potential damage from explosive devices planted along major roads.

A Palestinian journalist based in Gaza, Safwat Kahlout, told the Herald that there was relative calm on the streets of Gaza City.

"No one can see anything. We have no power. All there is is the sound of shells," he said.

"There is nowhere to go, so people are just waiting in their houses, but people are very afraid."

Israel's Channel 10 television quoted a witness as saying that Israel was shelling targets along the entire length of the border.

Earlier on Saturday, continued Israeli strikes killed at least 26 Palestinians, lifting the total death toll to about 451 Palestinians since the start of Operation Cast Lead nine days ago with at least 2200 wounded.

The Gaza Strip is home to 1.5 million Palestinians, about a million of whom are registered as refugees by the United Nations.

Only 40 kilometres long and 12 kilometres wide, the Gaza Strip is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.

The densely populated urban terrain increases the chances of a high number of civilian casualties in any ground offensive.

With Hamas suspected of stockpiling a large number of anti-tank weapons and rocket-propelled-grenade launchers, it also increases the risks for Israeli troops.

So... from Israel's point of view 30 wounded soldiers are considered "heavy casualties"?
How about the 500 killed and over 2000 injured palestinians? Do they consider that "normal"?

When are "Israel" going to get the hell out of the Middle East? That land they occupy is not their land.
The only reason they are there is because of some political agreement that allowed them to take the land from the Palestiinians and make it the State of Israel. The problem with this is that they think they have been given every right to do whatever they like ever since 1945. Israel ie NOT Israel. (this is only a poliitical creation). The reality is that the place is actually Palestine.

If Israel was moved to let's say somewhere in Central Africa there would be no more trouble ever in the Middle-East. The Palestinians could get THEIR land back and live in peace ever after.

Rabbi Yaacov Perrin said, "One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail."

From the talmud:

Yebamoth 98a "All gentile children are animals"

That is the attitude of the zionist regime. If no-one was watching they'd simply wipe out the entire population of Gaza and call it a repossesion of real estate.

Having said that, I do believe that this current horror is a NWO production designed to instigate a wider conflict or other nefarious purpose.

Passages in the Talmud also give 'them' the inalienable right to lie, cheat, steal, rape, enslave, and murder goyam with no sorrow or recourse. Because 'goyim/goyam' are pigs and animals and a sub-human species to them. So even if they blatantly lie to others, they are righteous. For them, killing anyone or anything outside of their paradygm is necessary and appropriate, and is for the betterment of mankind.  Angry

Here is part of their 'rules of ethics', and more than likely WHY they do what they do;

It's quite different in Israel, i have been there. First of all, at the age of 18 you must serve in the armed forces, female/male doesn't matter. If you refuse you go to jail. I had a friend i grew up with that fled Israel because they sent him his draft papers. They are VERY well trained too the IDF is not a force to be reckoned with especially near their home turf. At the moment they are succeeding in the mass murder of Hamas and Civilians that are in the way because the outside boarders are closed and no Militants are able to enter Gaza.

DIMEs usually contain tungsten with tends to carry carcinogenic properties. Israel used it in Gaza in '06 too, but they claim to not have it.

Yes, and although there are still many good things in the Talmud, these inhumane practices give them license to subjugate and murder 'in the name of God'. I write this only because it helps me to understand why our own govt acts/responds they way they do. Like they say, 'know thine enemy'.

Gaza - Ma’an
– A mother and her four children became the most recent victims of an ongoing Israeli air and ground offensive on the Gaza Strip on Sunday, bringing the death toll 35 since the ground invasion began on Saturday night.

Palestinian medical officials in Gaza said that the five members of the Baker family were blown to pieces when Israeli warplanes targeted their home in the At-Toufah neighborhood of Gaza City.

Medics also said that two of the children were one and two years old respectively. The ages of the other two were not determined.

Separately an airstrike in Jabaliya has killed five Palestinians.

Four other children were killed in the town of Beit Lahiya, in the north of the Gaza Strip, in a series of airstrikes during which ten civilians were killed and 30 injured. Earlier on Saturday, three children were killed in an airstrike in the city of Rafah, in the south that targeted a Palestinian fighter.

Separately, an airstrike in central Gaza City killed five and injured forty. Hamas member Mohamad Abu Heela was among the dead. His companion Jihad Hamdan was critically injured

Tank fire killed eighteen Palestinians on Sunday, including 14 in Beit Lahiya and four in Beit Hanoun.

Israel escalated shelling in the Gaza Strip in recent hours, killing a number of Palestinians as resistance fighters continue to confront Israeli tanks and ground troops that entered the Strip from four points.

Some 510 Palestinians have been killed since Israel began intense airstrikes on 27 December. Gaza medical officials put the number of wounded at 2,250 over nine days.

Ma’an’s journalists in Gaza have confirmed that Israeli forces killed a senior leader of one armed group, the National Resistance Brigades, the military arm of the leftist Democratic Front. The leader Mohmad Barbakh was killed along with his father, two brothers, and his nephew in the An-Nahdah neighborhood of the city of Rafah.

Separately at least five Palestinians were killed and forty others injured when a local market in the western section of Gaza City.

Explosions are being heard across the Gaza Strip, and fierce fighting has been reported between Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, and Israeli soldiers. The group reported capturing two Israeli soldiers around eleven in the morning Sunday, though the capture has been denied by Israeli sources.

Sunday’s developments are as follows:

5:00pmAn airstrike killed five Palestinians in Jabaliya.

The civilian causualties are disgusting but you cannot say Hamas is completely innocent here. They are keeping scores of women and children in Military and Leadership houses/complexes to avoid Israeli Bombings, which worked inthe past but now Israel's strategy is to show no mercy whatsoever.

Bush insisted on elections, and Hamas won.  They are the elected government.  Israel is bombing Hamas leaders in their homes - of course their wives and children are there.  Israel is targeting schools, mosques, police stations, radio, TV stations, merchant areas - the entie civlian infastructure.  It is sheer murder.

Anybody heard any statement from Al Queda on Gaza?  To my knowledge they have been silent.  Why isn't ALQ rushing fighters and arms to Hamas?

Al Queda was created as a force to fight the Russians in Afghanistan - created by the US, Pakistan and Israel.  In 30 years ALQ has never attacked Israel, and Israel has never targted ALQ leaders for assassination.  ALQ is currently fighting Russia, Iran and Syria - all enemies of Israel and US Neocons.  Hamas is backed by Syria and Iran.

Of course, the media doesn't comment on these issues.

I wasn't defending Israel my point was, it is irresponsible to not get your family out of harms way during a war.

Some of the autopsy reports coming out of Gaza is that some residents show signs of DIME
( http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/dime.htm ) exposure, and there is rumor that the IDF is using DU ammo (which means THEY are contaminated too), so we can now look to Gulf War Syndrome in Gaza too  Embarrassed

Not to trivialize the use of DIME and DU here, but civilian populations worldwide are continuously breathing dangerous poisons from the chemtrail spraying.  Also, our exposure to fluoride, aspartame, GMO foods and toxic vaccines essentially make all of us Palestinians.
