You are the one who "hijacked" the thread and now you want me to start a new thread. Geeze. Anyways, I'm done with this discussion and the lack off proof you sent me in the PM's. Have a good day. I didnt high jack anything so be off with ya then. Lack of proof, more like your afraid to look into it. Might find some truth. Have fun with it.

Recently I have noticed some cracks forming in the walls at my mom's house..I wonder if this is related somehow? Could there be some minor shifts happening that is not felt or detected that can cause the cracks in the walls? It appears that the ground is sinking a bit because there is also cracks around the top of the walls too in some places! Her house sits on a concrete slab which should prevent the usual shift that you would get from one sitting on blocks!

I see some people are starting to see the light , Boubear I told you about super moons before I'm sure The thing about the Moon people, is our human bodys have quite a lot of water in them too, as the moon affects the oceans and pulls on them it will pull on our bodys too and affect us.. Full moon = crazy people Yip, its true, i'm not sure if it turns people to wolfs but it does affect people! And if people did, I dont think wolfs are bad, just persucated, turned to villains by those bad people Be strong and have positive thoughts and be careful what you all wish for at time like these I know people that see many things in the future, but if i ask them whats going to happen in the future another time, its always different as something changed bewteeen their last "look" .. No person can see the future excact, as things change!!!! I think the film "Sliding Doors"? explains how things are not set in stone for the future... I dont tell people what I know or see, as it just brings fear and negative thoughts most of the time, unless its good vision .. And something i've seen for a while is the END of everything bad and evil in this planet!! Thats good!! Peace

Whomever said Neptune will be at a right angle between the Sun and Moon... I dont see it. It comes close. But Uranus is always at a right angle to the sun and moon. Whatever it all means. Im talking gibberish now.

In 2001 I questioned USGS regarding the effects of tides on earthquake prevalence and magnitude, the official USGS claim is that tides are of no relevence, however, others do not agree with this. USGS did acknowledge that there is some indication that rebound quakes occur, for example if land covered in ice for thousands of years experiences a melt the liklihood of earthquakes increases, so the same might hold true for trillions of gallons of water sloshing back and forth in a less that typical pattern, similar to what takes place on the earth during the occurance of apogee.
I'm guessing tides will have an impact, but not in a natural terra-lunar scenario. This extreme supermoon will direct gravitational enomalies across the earth, but more in a physical reaction. This syzygy will have effects upon our planet in the capacity of stretching the globe into an oblongaed pattern. This gravitational pull will have profound effects upon the plate tectonics and fault lines causing them to shift and buckle, along with forcing themselves into each other at unbelievable pressures. For example, if you covered a basketball in thick mud and clay and let it dry, then pushed in on 2 opposite sides, you will notice the cracking in the 'mantle'. These cracks could assumably resemble tectonic plates. When earth encounters gravitational pull of this magnitude, the shape tends to elongate. This would explain the hightened activity along Usually with earthquakes you can also find some type of volcanic activity. Between California and Asia is a huge tectonic plate called the Pacific Plate, and on this plate is the Mid Atlantic Ridge (Mariana's Trench, the deepest crevice on the planet). The shifting and buckling of this fault line alone derives massive amounts of volcanic activity. Along most fault lines is an underlying magmatic activity which explains the major volcanic and geological phenomenon we are seeing today. Most of these quakes are along the mid atlantic ridge and the California coast. You can most assuredly find a fault line involved with all the earthquake activity on earth, even the quakes in pakistan and china. There are many volcanos (albeit inactive for the most part) along the San Andreas faultline going all the way up into Alaska.

As we all know different types of minerals emit their own frequencies. Since there is a diverse variety of minerals in that mountanous area, then there would also be a multitude of natural eminations of electromagnetic activities, subsequentially creating ' electromagnetic micro climates' of varying sorts. If one can attune to the different frequencies of the natural forces, then they can be implemented for many purposes ( ) I have also learned that the planet is riddled with magnetic vortices, in a geometrical pattern around the globe. These vortices are also the primary answer as to why we can have such phenomena in the 'Bermuda Triangle' and the 'Devils Triangle' off of China. These areas, along with other areas have been known to be rich with electromagnetic activity. It is a natural recurring phenomenon and will forever be that way. All of these EMF anomalies will come to a consolidated effect when Marduk and SuperMoon intersect. This should prove to be a very powerful 'religious event' on many fronts. Even in 2012, Marduk will not have an impact on the SuperMoon sheduled 12/13/12. And the 2012 Supermoon will be of less gravitational effect than the one we will have in 3 days, but only if ignoring the fact that we enter into the Age of Aquarius on that day. And thx Scoffer for the input. I pretty much just pulled that stuff outta my head, through varying types anddepths of reading I've done over the years

I saw a rainbow cloud no later than this morning. I do not think we will get an earthquake though. One does not necessarily got to have a link with the other. *** For those who believe Sorcha Faals (be reassured I am not one of them) Grand Cosmic Cross Sends Catastrophic Warning To WorldBy: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers It is with great reluctance that I send forth this warning as it will fall upon the ears, and into the minds, of so many unable to understand or comprehend its fullest significance. But, and as our ways dictate, a warning such as this, when known, must be passed on for its importance is such that the dangers of it not being known far outweigh those of it being known yet not fully understood. To the ancient Hebrew prefaces to this warning we must also pay heed in the using of these words: “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years”, and “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign (semeion)! But none will be given it except the sign of the Prophet Jonah.” To the signs of this warning we must take heed as on 12 December, yet 4 days hence, comes the Long Night Moon (Full Moon) of ancient lore falling into the center of the Grand Cosmic Cross of the Mutable Signs of Virgo, Gemini, Pisces and Sagittarius and which has claimed its first soul of the ‘Three Great Leaders’ destined to fall under its Winter Reign, and as we can read: “Russian Orthodox Patriarch Alexei II, the iconic religious leader who restored the church from a post-Soviet shell to an institution of privilege and power, died at his Moscow home Friday. He was 79. The imposing, white-bearded Alexei had reigned in the Russian Orthodox Church's top seat for the last 18 years, an era that witnessed the collapse of the Soviet Union and the rebirth of Russia as a powerful, centralized state under the steely leadership of Prime Minister and former President Vladimir Putin. Alexei was celebrated for healing a painful rift with the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, a splinter faction established by White Guard Russians who fled the Soviet Union for the West. The Russian patriarch signed a pact with Metropolitan Laurus last year, putting an end to the bitter, 80-year schism.” To the greatest visions of these signs we need also to turn to the great Bulgarian Prophetess Vanga who in her warning of the 11 September 2001 attacks upon the United States had prophesized “Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.” And of these present signs Prophetess Vanga had further warned that, “Be Warned! Be Warned! For after the City of Lights has descended below the waves before the moon falls prostrate upon the Cross the Great Prelate will die and be soon followed into death by the Great Pretender to the Throne and the Harlot believing their power greater than all others. But to the greatest sorrow will come the multitudes soon to die before the celebration of the Christ comes again.” To the accuracy of Prophetess Vanga’s visions of these times we do know that the City of Lights, Venice, Italy, has, indeed, succumbed to the seas, and as we can read: “Sirens sounded across Venice yesterday as flooding submerged 95 per cent of the city and left tourists in St Mark’s Square thigh-deep in water. The highest water levels in more than 20 years paralysed services. Elderly residents were carried to high ground and some people took to the piazzas in inflatable dinghies. As the water retreated it left a layer of sludge and debris. There were fears of more flooding, with another surge into the city from the Adriatic predicted today as high tides coincide with bad weather. “Venice is completely paralysed,” one official said. “We are submerged.” Massimo Cacciari, the Mayor of Venice, advised residents and tourists to avoid moving around unless it was unavoidable. “Anyone thinking of coming should think again,” he said. “These are exceptionally high waters. Don’t venture out unless it is necessary.” Prophetess Vanga’s vision was further realized with the passing of Alexei II, leaving only the deaths of the other two ‘great leaders’, and the ‘deaths of multitudes’ yet to be completed prior to this prophecy coming to its fulfillment. To our knowing, but not to our telling are the truths of these things, which as I had stated before is put forth to a mocking generation who though seeking the true knowledge of the signs find no ends to their ridicule of them, as if in their mocking and ridicule they can prevent the certainties of their happenings. But, to this generation their mocking and ridicule of that which they know not of, and which if knowing they would treble in fear, speaks more towards their ignorance and not of their hearts. And in those hearts there lies the hope of that which is not to come in this World, but which must be held onto for the next World to come…and which lies closer, much closer, than any of these peoples will allow their eyes to see. © December 8, 2008 EU and US all rights reserved. http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1175.htm -- Sorcha Faal sorchafaal@fastmail.fm

I'm not sure that I follow Sorcha's work (have not read any until now), but it did touch upon the fact that I had not mentioned the increase in storms from this upcoming phenomenon. Usually during volcanic activity, there is a rapid increase in the amount of static which comes in the form of lightning. Much of the lightning activity is created by the flow of magma, which is essentially molten metal (since metal is made from minerals to begin with). This magmatic conductivity harnesses itslf in the humidity in the air and is catalyzed by the ensuing heat that accompanies the eruption. The ash from the eruption is also partially carbonized which further enhances EM activities. I make no guarantee or prophesize upon what will come in the next few days, but as far as I can tell, this event horizon could cause earthquakes, which will cause more volcanic activity, which in turn can cause electrical storms. That is, if one thing triggers another. I hope I'm not being an alarmist here. I just felt compelled to explain certain scenarios and domino effects which could happen if the earth stretches too far with these gravitational influences. Nobody could bear witness to this when it happened in the far and disant past, so I'm just speculating

Usually cracks found in houses is caused by changes in the ground underneath the foundation. Sometimes it's nothing more than cavitation.erosion caused by rainwater flow. Most of the plates on the earths' shell are larger in mass than most continents, but there are like 47 'minor plates'. The shifting of these plates would have larger geographical impacts than on 1 house. I would start by having your property surveyed to see if the terrain characteristics are changing. If you are not in a volcanically active area, or known areas where large aquifers are present, then more than likely the foundation is just 'settling'.

Has anyone ever looked into the Pole Shift and Planet X?
I'm trying to discern this now. I was wondering the same thing myself, as there is speculation of a impending pole shift. The series of events we are experiencing now would have great impact. The planetary alignemt, along with the SuperMoon, along with the passing of Planet X, may all have undefined consequence upon the reaction state of our core. Here is an article I was just readin on WikiPedia about pole shifts: Magnetic field reversals Main article: Geomagnetic reversal Based upon the study of lava flows of basalt throughout the world, it has been proposed that the Earth's magnetic field reverses at intervals, ranging from tens of thousands to many millions of years, with an average interval of approximately 250,000 years. The last such event, called the Brunhes-Matuyama reversal, is theorized to have occurred some 780,000 years ago. There is no clear theory as to how the geomagnetic reversals might have occurred. Some scientists have produced models for the core of the Earth wherein the magnetic field is only quasi-stable and the poles can spontaneously migrate from one orientation to the other over the course of a few hundred to a few thousand years. Other scientists propose that the geodynamo first turns itself off, either spontaneously or through some external action like a comet impact, and then restarts itself with the magnetic "North" pole pointing either North or South. External events are not likely to be routine causes of magnetic field reversals due to the lack of a correlation between the age of impact craters and the timing of reversals. Regardless of the cause, when magnetic "North" reappears in the opposite direction this is a reversal, whereas turning off and returning in the same direction is called a geomagnetic excursion. Studies of lava flows on Steens Mountain, Oregon, indicate that the magnetic field could have shifted at a rate of up to 6 degrees per day at some time in Earth's history, which significantly challenges the popular understanding of how the Earth's magnetic field works.[4] This has been found to be consistent, by measuring magnetism across ocean ridges. The molten lava (typically basalt or tholeiite) is extruded from volcanoes at well over the Curie temperature and then cools to adopt whatever magnetic field was present at the time. As time goes on more lava flows and bands of opposite magnetic fields are made present. Using a magnetic detector (a variant of a compass), scientists have measured the historical direction of the Earth's magnetic field, by studying sequences of relatively iron-rich lava flows. Typically such layers have been found to record the direction of Earth's magnetic field when they cool (see paleomagnetism). They have found that the poles have shifted a number of times throughout the past. An alternate theory of the core of the Earth and the origin of the Earth's magnetic field has been proposed by J. Marvin Herndon. This proposal, known as the georeactor is not accepted by the scientific community. ====================================== As far as I can tell, there is no defining magnetic phenomenon as far as a descriable 'spiderweb effect' of our geomagnetic infrastructure as shown by this pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Magnetic_Field_Earth.png I will admit, I'm quite interested in this series of events. The possibility of a magnetic pole shift is always possible, but not predictable. Scientifically we could predict the gravitational effect upon earth as an astronomical observation of 'cause and effect' scenarios, but attempting to equate a variable factor such as the path and influence of Marduk (Planet X) is arduous. I don't kow of any computer models that would show all of this. I'm kinda working this stuff out in my head. As I wrote earlier, the effects of all of these scenarios reminds me of the movie 'The Core'. It could be influential and any level and scope. It could be as minor as the SuperMoon we had in 2005. More than likely we could already be underway with the geomagnetic and electromagnetic influences, since these astronomical entities won't just 'pop into place'. The 12th or 13th would signal a peak in activity, but we are probably already 'cycling up' to the pinnacle of this event.

OldSchool I think you know something .. I know people that are good at maths, but they do not understand the things you talk of , "magnetic vortices, in a geometrical pattern around the globe." and things like that... If they had a full education and were told about these things then I'm sure they could work everything out, like many ancients have before.. I'm sure everything is linked through maths in the universe(its huge), but i'm not a maths person.. Others are good at many things, everyone on earth.. This has been 'locked' away from everyone though Thats why I get confused about who is bad and good.. I am good and my friends are good and we see signs you all see as evil and they have not always been evil, same with lies about cultures of different lands, and we know who is supressing this knolwedge.. Everyone is special, excpet GWB and co I'm reading some text just now about mayans and there explanations of the energy cycles, i see links in other things(book) right away through logic... As like you, I dont want to be an "alarmist" and scare people, as bad creates bad, same in thoughts.. Once I check its written by someone that is mayan or realy knows them and not full of doomsday bullshit I will put up the links, Mayans are like God, they dont ask for money as they know what its worth Peace

ConcordeWarrior , I had to read that a few times and maybe some more Is Sorcha Faal saying its doomsday? If so I agree with Sociostudent and its FAIL I might not understand what they are saying though. Some things in that text I think I know what they are talking about, but they do not undertand what they are talking about so confusion sets in... People have been so confused and the place is in a mess.. Life is simple A lot of things in this thread are very interesting Peace

What exactly would happen to us, our homes, buildings, etc during a pole shift? Has any of this been examined in any detail? Would the pole shift be sudden, or slowly? Apparently, there are pole shifts every 100,000 years or so (and we are due) so it doesnt kill off the plants and animals. If this were to happen and be abrupt, I cant imagine many people surviving it. If it was slow... no problemo.

Throughout the years I have learned alot about physics, the nature of physics, and the laws of cause and probability. I've worked in the industrial mechanics, electrical, and construction business for about 30 years, so I tend to be intuitively logical about things. I never take answers just for their verbal merit. I have to know why, and why IS the why. I had known about gravitational excitation, plate tectonics, and some things about our planets' core, but the recent series of events compelled me to research it further. It is without question that our planet thrives upon its' internal energies, and evolves just as we do. It wobbles and undulates with near perfect calculation. There are many anomalies inside and outside the core, and within itself, is no prediction of impending events. With the current situation of the Extreme SuperMoon, Planet X, and various other things, a polar shift is not entirely out of the question. Earth as we know it now, is being stretched along the equatorial line between the sun and jupiter, and that will have a more profound effect considering the apogee of the moon will be at its closest point ever known. This gravitational effect feeds the electromagnetic fields that are already being propogated, which creates yet another flux in the magnetic embodiment of the planetary theme. Now we have a heightened field of the sun, along with the same effect of earth, and its' moon. So far (not counting the planets not in alignment) there are 4 seperate EMF fields all joining into one. I'm sure the moon will also be gravitationally elongated too, thus creating a football shaped magnetic envelope between earth and moon. This Planet X will essentially blindside that flow of energy, and that is where the gray area of unpredictability comes in. All of these events will impact the end result whatever that is. But in the meantime, we're experiencing more earthquake activity, which in turn, shifts the dynamic flow of magma. This will wake more volcanoes, but we may never see them erupt. All of these inherent energies have patterns of individual radiant properties and will continue to do so for many centuries. The anomalies happen when these energies cross or reverberate in a series of harmonic inbalances. Some of these inbalances are happening now with the stretching of the earth and that is what forces shifts in tectonic activities. Unfortunately our entire west coast is on the edge of a massive plate. I don't see a cataclysmic event there, but it is a brittle and turbulent spot. As far as earthquakes, many will be able to tell before one happens. You usually see animals going nuts. Wildlife gets all jumpy, and pets start acting really scared and paranoid. Birds are a good indicator too since their migratory flight is based on magnetics. Pets get real jumpy and paranoid, as their 6th sense tells them something is about to happen. They can feel the fluctuations in electromagnetic energy. Our 6th sense has been smothered, since we are taught only to use our 5 physical senses, and displace our intuition with mutant food, TV, and partying.

You are the one who "hijacked" the thread and now you want me to start a new thread. Geeze. Anyways, I'm done with this discussion and the lack off proof you sent me in the PM's. Have a good day. Welcome to the NWO technique that is slowly, but surely, killing these forums. Whenever they can, NWO shills will inject a perfectly reasonable thread with some unrelated and often hate filled comments, designed to provoke and elicit reactions, as such derailing the thread. They'll defend those comments by using faulty arguments, biased and unfounded opinions and they love to twist your own words. The ones who think themselves more clever will start to link to other pages on the Internet to lend their 'theories' more weight, but somehow seem to forget that every loony by now will have posted thier ludacrous ideas somewhere on the Internet for them to find (nice example: http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/Flatearthsociety.htm). Then once in a while they step up their game and create a new thread of their own which is designed to spark heated debate, often gay related. They don't care how moronic any of it all sounds, it is not their job to be serious. And unfortunately they are succeeding at their real job on these forums, which consists of: - Diluting the current discussions to a level of bickering and nonsense designed to prevent anything constructive - Set up the current members against each other with the goal to get them to leave the forums - Disgust members to such a level that they'll leave on their own volition - Scare off potential new members At the moment the PP forums are still very successful, much to the irritation of these NWO shills. Yet I've seen this happen often enough to all kinds of equally minded anti-NWO forums to say that these forums will have half a year, possibly a year, before it will have degenerated to such an abysmal level that it won't play any serious role at all anymore. Compared to half a year ago you can already clearly see the damage they're doing on these forums and they're stepping up their game. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it, besides just plain ignoring them. The technique has been tried and tested throughout history in dealing with any anti-NWO groups, societies, etc... Just don't get worked up, ignore the blathering morons and help to get the most out of these forums for as long as possible.

VERY good question. So far, the popular speculation about survivability is: everything below the current "200-400 feet above sea level" will be underwater. I'm not quite sure. It would depend on the severity of the shift. NASA so far has noted that the magnetic north/south poles have deviated up to 20 miles from being 'true'. In context the shift could be of many scenarios from tilting 10 degrees, up to a full reversal. A full shift is remote, but is not completely impossible. From what I can understand, a full reversal would take from days to years to complete. It would be telegraphed beforehand by a stoppage in rotation. It has been noted (I cannot gurantee is reliability) that the earth would stop spinning for up to 3 days, and the poles would shift, much like turning a half full jar of buttermilk upside down. On which points of the meridian it would remain constant is a guess, really. It would be confirmed that if a shift took place, there would be 2 places on the planet that would be affected at all. Much like pushing a skewer through an orange. Holding the skewer by both ends would indicate 2 points that would remain constant even after the magnetic poles reversed. In a worse case scenario everything with magnetic properties would reverse polarity, or atleast, realign with the poles. As far as houses and trees go, I would tend to think they would stay intact. There are other many factors I tend to think about, but I dare not publish any speculation as it would most definately scare the shit out of 99% of the readers. Since the reversal is merely a plausible potential, but not a reliable prognosis. I may elaborate if the situation warrants it. Earthquakes are inevitable in Earth/Sun/Moon situations like what we are experiencing now. I dare not extrapolate further events out loud, as they would be entirely cataclysmic in reality. It's probably safer that we concern ourselves with earthquakes and globalists, as one of them we can stop. The other we can monitor and correct

OldSchool, you know about these things, I think more information is locked inside you.. It takes me times to read posts that are clever to fully undertsand, I may get back to you on some things What I have noticed is growth though, and all things growing.. And my interest is in plants and bugs and disease, something man made is calling our bees for a reason .. I think I know who.. But I looked at the lies on CO2 and global warming and lots of things linked, I just see things sometimes when i stand back and look, maybe the peace pipe helps The cycles of energy through cosmic forces are linked to global warming and these ancient predictions of these cycles/stages.. We have went through the same cycles before, just like a plant does not die, it goes through stages of life passing on better genetics/knowlwdge every cycle We are in a stage of growth now, flower/bud.. At growth speeds up too at certain stages in all things, if I look at global warming and other things like technology and its growth, I think time is speeding up too... Heat speeds up growth And now the warming is falling back for balance again, we could be in the seed stage now after flower also.. And what decisions we make today affect whet we grow for the next x amount of thousand of years.. We reap what we sow I think everything is linked in a great way, its how wee see they links and what tools we use decides on life.. I'm sure 99% of the planet want whats good, the rest just want money and control I dont bring lots of science to this thread, but I hope people undertand what I am saying... BUT I would love to find some science on what I say, soo I can shut up some doubters Peace

Hi Shirteesdotnet I'm happy you said riddle, that usualy makes people have to think hard, and for themself.. If I told you everything then I might not be telling the truth and send you on the wrong path, you will choose the path for you.. AND thats the right path I'm not sure what happens with a pole shift, I think they have happend plenty of times before.. Maybe the whales get lost for a time and birds, maybe even us I dont think we will fall of Earth.. I will read more just now and see what I find then get back... Dont have any fear Peace

BUT I would love to find some science on what I say, soo I can shut up some doubters Peace Sorry I took so long. I was workin on a peanut butter sammich the size of a babys' head I haven't figured out the bees thing just yet, beyond the conclusion that the globalists see them as an enemy in the ways that they are required to pollenate plantlife for natural growth. The same goes for bugs, and some birds. Many of these things are required for cross pollenation, and without them, the process never happens, therefore disabling proper processes. The global warming is a myth now that many many authorities are discovering the REAL truth. Put plainly, the slower the core revolves, the less friction, heat and EMF is shed. If the core is in fact slowing down, then it would explain the cooling trend we are now seeing. For a much better reference to this phenomenon, watch the movie 'The Day After Tommorrow'. It does a pretty good job explaining this phenomena. With it being fact that winters are getting colder, and the ice sheets on both poles growing, it is surely an epic event. I've always tended to think that time is speeding up. As Einstein surmised, the universe is forever expanding. With this being said, there is the notion of an elasticity to be factored into the time/space theorem. He also explains that there will be a point where the universal mass will cease to expand, and therefore collapse back in on itself. It will be eons before we figure this one out Just as many others, it is difficult to see what the future holds, as there is no defined turning point in the current state of things. We, as a human race are supposed to be 'in control', yet we are quickly finding out that we are essentially amoeba in a perpetual and prolific culture of other universal schemes

Oh by all means... please riddle me with what could be possible in a worst case polar shift. Please elaborate and extrapolate OK First of all, this is only speculation. I will solidify speculation with more speculation then As I posted in reply #104, the polar shifts come in unpredictable cycles. The last polar shift was determined to be 780,000 years ago. This being partly because of the core, and partly because of the weights of the polar caps on both ends of the planet. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the global cooling and ice cap sizes. For a better primer of what could happen (speculative of course ) is from the first part of the movie 'The Core'. While not necessarily from meteors or exterrestrial objects, it would indeed affect our atmosphere and the electrical properties that comprise our electromagnetic effect upon the earth (i.e. gravity). All those birds in the movie were not theoretically attacking people, but rather lost their equillibrium entirely due to EMP, since birds navigate using internal magnetic sensors. The EMP simply negated their directional rationale so they flew into things and fell to the ground. It wasn't the EMP that killed them it was the fall that did it In the movie there was no polar shift though. It was a rotten plan by the govt to play with shit they should have left alone (Project DESTINI). In all reality, they surmise that the 'earth will stand still'. And it is assumed that it will stand still for several days before it flops upside down (due to stalled core, and the weights of our now increasing polar cap size). Once 'flopped' it would begin spinning again and recreate gravity. Although the planet would theoretically stop spinning, it raises the issue of how gravity will affect everyone/everything. I can only 'speculate' at this point again. Without a core rotation, there is no discernable 'energy potential' and without a polar diffusion, there would, in essence, be zero gravity. I doubt that things would float off into space since we would still have residual gravity along with a sustained atmosphere. I would hope the Ionosphere would serve to keep things in In a sense of temporary zero gravity, all things that walk the earth will not be able to stay on the ground. Gravity is a magnetic pull upon the earth derived from the positive/negative polarity it envelops the globe in. It keeps everything 'sucked in' to the outer shell. I tend to think of it as a spacewalk without the suit, and being able to breathe our already present air. You would be able to determine this readily as things will begin to weight less and less until they have no resistance to gravitational pull. I would like to think that everything will stay right where it is during a shift, but I also tend to think that if a full flop is eminent, then our planet will be upside down, including how the continents are currently situated. For instance, The US would be on the Southern hemisphere, and Australia would be on the north. Even so, they are both relatively close to the equator, so whoever survives this shift will essentially be in a relatively similar environment. However, the shift in global oceans would splash upon many continents and could possibly rise. If the ice caps melted to any formidable degree, then coastlines across the globe below 200-400 feet will vanish into the sea. Let me say here that 2/3 of the US population is located within 100 miles of the US borders, so most of California, along with most of the eastern seaboard would dissappear. This is hugely a matter of humanity at risk even if it was a matter of rising sea levels, and not a polar shift. Tsunamis coming from the Mid Atlantic Ridge could possible set off a gigantic tsunami from the tectonic activity alone. This tsunami could possibly impact the west coast, and the same goes for the eastern seaboard.

If I may... I think we can sum it all up nicely by saying this...
at φ = +/-90, Azw = +/-τ at φ = 0, Azw = arctan( -cotδsinτ) at τ = +/-90, Azw = arctan( -/+ cotδ/cosφ) at δ = 0, Azw = arctan(tanτ/sinφ) at δ = φ = 0, Azw = 90 & Alt = 90 - τ

Aww man, I was hoping not to have to think about numbers and stuff. Can't we do this with apples and oranges? I vaguely understand the tangents, cotangents, arctangents, and azimuths, but what do those φ'y things mean? Are we going into an Omega factor thingie?

well, ok, I totally got that. Good, good. I was thinking this thread was getting too far out there and had to bring it down a notch. Now that we are all on the same page (you are, right?) lets carry on. There will always be some small, minute differences, like with cosφ or sinφ, but for the most part I find it irrelevant to the current discussion at hand.

Yeah it would be wierd to be 'down under' lol. And they would be close to the north pole then. All them places across the equator would probably stay the same. But what will the penguins think?
