Hi ,
I was wondering if there was a list of the bumper music on Alex Show. The show is very inspiring. I never miss a day. Alex is at the top of his game. I heard him play a Johhny Cash song the other day. I think Inxs or U2 did a cover of the song. I just wanted to know what the name of the song was. I also think there should be a list of the bumper music.

P.S. the duets are great Alex.haha

Found this, written by Matt_Infowarrior -- maybe it helps:

Bumper intros:

The Beatles -- Fool on the Hill
Blue Oyster Cult -- Don't Fear the Reaper
Bob Dylan -- Union Sundown
Bob Dylan -- Masters of War
Carl Orff -- O Fortuna
Chris de Burgh -- Revolution / Light a Fire
Gnarls Barkley -- Crazy
Hank Williams Jr. -- Country Boy Can Survive
Highwaymen -- Highwayman
Jimi Hendrix -- All Along the Watchtower
Jimmy Dean -- Big Bad John
Johnny Horton -- Battle of New Orleans
Led Zeppelin -- Immigrant Song
Neil Young -- Rockin' in the Free World
Paris -- What Would You Do?
The Police -- Message in a Bottle
Steve Vaus -- Renegades
Tom Petty -- Won't Back Down

Bumper Outros:

Crystal Method -- Name of the Game (KLBJ show only)
Moby -- Extreme Ways
Led Zeppelin -- Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
Led Zeppelin -- All of My Love (middle part)
Monty Norman Orchestra -- James Bond Theme
PPK -- Resurrection ("beepy song")

I remember there was a whole thread about the songs, but I couldn't find it.

As for where to find them, try either:

DC++      (good speeds and easy to find a lots of stuff)
Torrents      (hard to find old stuff)
or eMule      (last resort... very slow, but rare stuff is easier to find)

Please take your time to watch Part 1 and Part 2... it's very informative.

Is that all of the songs?  I know there are others specific to KLBJ on Sundays.

Also note that most of these songs can easily be found on Youtube

1. Highwayman (by Highwayman)

One of my favorites is "Highwayman" a la 1985 featuring Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson (he just played it today around 12:40pm).

About the song: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highwayman_(song)
Listen to it here (live): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw1bHaUk1CM

2. The Revolution (by Chris de Burgh)

This song by Chris de Burgh (you may remember his song "Lady in Red," one of the best ballads of the 1980's) entitled "Revolution" would make a great official song for the Ron Paul Revolution. The perfect song to rally the troops.

You can hear it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0zp9uX9B6I

Kris Kristofferson is a Rhodes Scholar...I find that borderline interesting!
