If you look at the videos from the night before there were many more fires, that seems to be the last one. But who knows.

'We want US and British' say Mumbai gunmen November 27, 2008, 9:21 pm Related Articles Multiple attacks in Mumbai, 80 dead and hostages taken November 27, 2008, 8:39 am Multiple attacks kill at least 80 in Mumbai November 27, 2008, 8:38 am Mumbai attacks kill 80, Western hostages taken November 27, 2008, 9:23 am Mumbai attacks kill at least 80 in Mumbai November 27, 2008, 9:24 am Mumbai gunmen kill at least 80 November 27, 2008, 10:18 am MUMBAI (AFP) - The young gunmen roaming the corridors of two luxury hotels in Mumbai were shooting wildly, but they knew exactly what sort of guests they intended to take hostage.
"They told everybody to stop and put their hands up and asked if there were any British or Americans," Alex Chamberlain, a British guest at the Oberoi/Trident hotel, said after fleeing his captors via a fire escape.
"My friend said to me, 'don't be a hero, don't say you are British.'"
Gunmen held an unknown number of hostages inside the hotel and at the iconic Taj Mahal hotel overnight and through much of Thursday.
Chamberlain told Indian television that he and other guests had been herded together by the gunmen and taken up to the upper floors of the hotel.
Rakesh Patel, a guest at the Taj, said that "they were after foreigners, because they were asking for British or American passports."
"They came from the restaurant and took us up the stairs," Patel, a British citizen based in Hong Kong , told the NDTV news channel, his face blackened by smoke.
"They were very young, like boys really, wearing jeans and T-shirts," he said, adding that he and another hostage managed to escape on the 18th floor.
One woman staying at the Taj told how she lay on the floor of one room with 25 other petrified guests as gunmen fought special commandos.
"That was, without doubt, the worst experience of my entire life," she told reporters. "It was a very, very painful six hours.
"We could hear the army coming through the hotel. We heard the firing and the blasts. In the end the firemen broke the windows of the room and we climbed down the ladder."
Military units stormed the Taj hotel in the early hours of Thursday morning to confront a handful of gunmen armed with assault rifles and grenades.
In the encounter a huge fire broke out at the top of the hotel, trapping some guests.
US citizen Marilyn Ernsteen, who was with her husband Joseph, said they thought the gunfire was fireworks until hotel staff said they should lock themselves in their rooms and turn off the lights.
"I didn't know what was going on. I was terrified," she told AFP.
Taking only her passport and purse, she and her husband, who are from Chicago, escaped from their fourth-floor room Thursday morning through smoky hallways and out a fire exit.
Australian television actress Brooke Satchwell, a former star in the soap opera Neighbours, hid inside a small cupboard when violence erupted at the Taj.
"As I stepped inside the lobby gunshots started to go off," she said. "It was really terrifying. There were people getting shot in the corridor. There was someone dead outside the bathroom."
The head of the Madrid government and a British member of the European Parliament were inside the Taj when the gunmen attacked but escaped unhurt.
"I saw one man on foot carrying a machine gun-type of weapon -- which I then saw him firing from and I saw people hitting the floor, people right next to me," MEP Sajjad Karim was quoted as saying by the BBC.
An Australian student said his girlfriend was shot and wounded when other gunmen stormed the Cafe Leopold restaurant in Mumbai and opened fire.
David Coker, 23, and his partner Katie Anstee, 24, were on holiday to celebrate graduating from university.
"We had literally just ordered and then it seemed like firecrackers -- people were screaming," he told The Courier-Mail newspaper.
Anstee was shot in the leg, with the bullet breaking her femur and exiting through the front of her thigh, while Coker was grazed by a bullet.
"I turned around and she was crawling out the door because she couldn't walk," he said.

More blasts at the Taj, they might be trying to bring it down in another 9/11 shock and awe spectacle for the worldwide audience.
We already know it is an inside job false flag G7 motivated destabilization attack.
Any more harm just exposes how ruthless the NWO/G7 intentions are.

Indian commandos battle Islamist gunmen November 27, 2008, 10:31 pm
Explosion rocks Taj Mahal The Taj Mahal hotel has erupted in flames and explosions and screams could be heard at the century-old edifice, which came under attack hours earlier. Gunmen kill 80, hostages taken
Nearly 80 killed in multiple Mumbai shootings, blasts Indian army commandos were on Thursday battling heavily-armed Islamist gunmen who launched co-ordinated attacks against luxury hotels and other targets in Mumbai, killing at least 100 people.
Meanwhile, the Indian navy says its forces are boarding a cargo vessel suspected of ties to the attacks.
At least one Australian is among the dead, two others have been shot and another is unaccounted for after the deadly series of grenade and shooting attacks that has left India's financial capital under siege.
Maharashtra state police chief AN Roy said troops were fighting their way through the city's famous Taj Mahal hotel on Thursday.
The attackers were also still believed to be holding hostages in another hotel and an office-residential complex.
More than 100 people were killed and 300 injured when suspected Islamic militants attacked 10 sites in Mumbai.
Navy spokesman Captain Manohar Nambiar said that the ship being boarded is the MV Alpha, which had recently come to Mumbai from Karachi , Pakistan .
Nambiar says the navy has "located the ship and now we are in the process of boarding it and searching it".
He gave no other details on the ship.
Gunmen from the little-known Deccan Mujahedeen group, who claimed responsibility for the attacks, exchanged fire with commandos and explosions could be heard, AFP photographers and reporters on scene said.
Americans, Israelis and Canadians are thought to be among those trapped in the five-star Taj Mahal and Oberoi Trident hotels and in Nariman House, a residential complex with an old Jewish prayer hall where a rabbi and his family were also being held.
"No negotiations or talks have started with the terrorists," Maharashtra state deputy chief minister RR Patil told reporters.
Television signals to both hotels have been switched off to prevent the hostage takers getting wind of any operations to storm the buildings, he added.
Eight other locations, including Mumbai's main train station, a hospital and a popular restaurant, were hit late Wednesday. The gunmen reportedly landed in Mumbai by boat.
The co-ordinated attacks were blamed on Muslim militants and said to have targeted Westerners.
Police said about 100 people were killed in the precisely targeted assaults by small groups of gunmen armed with AK-47s and grenades that began around 10.30pm (0400 AEDT Thursday).
Up to 300 other people were reported wounded.
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd confirmed the death of one Australian and warned there could be more Australian casualties.
"This is a terrible unfolding tragedy," he said on Thursday night, describing the situation in Mumbai as "chaotic on the ground".
" ... the exact number of casualties remains unclear."
He did not identify the dead Australian, but the Press Trust of India named him as Braid Gilbert Taylor, 49.
The press trust said a Briton and Japanese also died in the attacks, and the Italian Foreign Ministry said an Italian had been killed.
One of the gunmen holed up in the Trident Hotel told the India TV channel by phone that they wanted an end to the persecution of Indian Muslims and the release of all fellow Islamic militants detained in India.
"Muslims in India should not be persecuted. We love this as our country but when our mothers and sisters were being killed, where was everybody?" he said from inside.
Frequent bursts of gunfire in and around the two five-star hotels continued to be heard through Thursday morning, as south Mumbai, including the normally thriving main business hub between the two scenes, was shut down.
The main Bombay Stock Exchange , itself hit by a terror attack in 1993, was also closed, as were shops, schools and businesses.
Army commandos stormed the Taj under the cover of night, apparently leading to the release of some guests inside, with television footage showing people being shepherded out of the building.
Shortly afterwards, the upper floors of the hotel became engulfed in flames.
Fire engines were brought in to rescue trapped guests through the windows of their rooms, where they had sought refuge from the shooting.
Earlier, several men stormed the passenger hall of Mumbai's main Chhatrapati Shivaji railway station, firing indiscriminately and throwing grenades.
Firing was also reported at Cama Hospital in south Mumbai, and three people were reported killed in what police called a "bomb blast" in a taxi in the south-east of the city.
One British guest at the Taj, Rakesh Patel, was among a dozen people herded together by two heavily-armed men and taken to the hotel's upper floors.
"They were very young, like boys really, wearing jeans and T-shirts," he said.
"They said they wanted anyone with British and American passports and then they took us up the stairs. I think they wanted to take us to the roof," he said, adding that he and another hostage managed to escape on the 18th floor.
Indian President Pratibha Patil, in Vietnam on an official visit, described the attack as "the work of those who have no regard for human life".
The United States and Britain led global condemnation, with Washington describing the attacks as "horrific", and US president-elect Barack Obama pledging to work with India to "root out and destroy terrorist networks".
Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the "outrageous" attacks would be met with a "vigorous response".
India has witnessed a wave of coordinated attacks in recent months.
A little-known Islamic group, the Islamic Security Force-Indian Mujahedeen, claimed responsibility for serial blasts last month in India's north-east state of Assam that claimed nearly 80 lives.
Six weeks earlier, the capital New Delhi had been hit by a series of bombs in crowded markets that left more than 20 dead. Those blasts were claimed by a group calling itself the Indian Mujahedeen

Some important questions from a comment posted on http://senthil4u.wordpress.com/2008/11/27/terror-attacks-in-mumbai/: jeff Says: November 27, 2008 at 5:18 am Just a few questions: Why are Muslims being blamed again without any concrete evidence? Why only the police officers that were investigating Hindu terrorism in India for past few weeks were one of the first ones to be killed? Why Maharashtra was so open for alleged , “muslim terrorists”, when BJP has such a strong hold on the city of Mumbai that politicians like Raj Thackeray can butcher a birthday cake that had the word “Bhaiyya” (Bhaiyya is a word for Biharis in India) written on it publicly? Why authorities or media are not looking into other possibilities? Why are the terrorists keeping hostages and not identify themselves or start negotiations? Why are the terrorists not killing themselves just as supposed Islamic terrorists have done in the past? Why are Indian journalists talking about an “encounter” (term for killing suspects in police shoot out) instead of actually an attempt to “arrest” the perpetrators and investigate who they really are and what are their intentions? For those who target Muslims without answering all the above mentioned questions kindly learn to speculate, investigate, analyze and than come to a conclusion.

More Australians may be hurt in Mumbai: Rudd By Emma Rodgers and wires November 27, 2008 - 4:43PM Source: ABC Deadly shootings: Gunmen attacked at a crowded train station in Mumbai.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd says he has been advised that there may be more Australians injured in Mumbai's terrorism attacks.
The death toll from the coordinated terrorist attacks has risen to 101 including six foreigners, although no details of their nationalities have been released, and more than 250 people have been injured.
Two Australians - 23-year-old David Coker from Townsville in Queensland and his girlfriend, 24-year-old Kate Anstee from Sydney - have already been confirmed as injured and are being treated in hospital.
Mr Rudd says his thoughts are with the families of those injured and he has condemned the attacks, and says officials in Mumbai are speaking with hotel owners to to establish how many Australians may have been caught up in the events.
He says 317 Australians are registered as living in Mumbai but there could be more.
"The Government is seeking to confirm as a matter of urgency the safety and welfare of Australians who may be affected," he said.
"I am advised that Australian casualties may rise."
Mr Rudd says the attacks are a reminder that the world must remain vigilant against terrorism.
"This cowardly attack on India's stability, peace and democracy reminds us all that international terrorism is far from defeated," he said.
"We have to continued to work closely with our allies and partners around the world to defeat terrorism."
India's Home Affairs Minister Shivraj Patel says it seems the terrorists have kept explosives in some vehicles.
"They are fighting the people who are in the hotels. In Taj I was told that about four or five persons are dead," he said.
"And the police commissioner was telling me that in Oberoi also there are four or five persons. So it seems that there is a big conspiracy."
The Australian Government's National Security Committee has met to discuss the attacks but Mr Rudd says little is known at this stage about the Deccan Mujahideen group who is thought to be behind the attacks.
"But whichever group has perpetrated this attack, they are cowards, absolute cowards and murderers," he said.
Mr Rudd says the Government has offered to send AFP counter-terrorism and forensics staff to India.
We stand ready to assist India in any way it needs right now," he said.
'Stay safe'
Australian travellers are now being advised against going to Mumbai and those already have been told to stay in a safe place and follow the directions of authorities. Garrick Harvison, an export manager for Yarraman Estate wines, is staying at the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai as part of a New South Wales Government trade delegation.
Mr Harvison says he has been hiding on the floor of his hotel room since seeing the gunmen enter the lobby.
"We started hearing all this banging, which we just thought were fireworks or something," he said.
"I went out, had a look and it was just bang bang bang like a semi-automatic rifle. When we looked over and found that it wasn't fireworks, it was actually people shooting people, I just ran inside my room.
"From that point, for the next sort of five or six hours, I heard gunshots and bomb blasts. Pretty scary experience."
He says was lucky to escape.
Townsville man Dave Coker was at Cafe Leopold in Mumbai when the shooting began.
He suffered minor injuries, but his girlfriend Katie Anstee was shot through the thigh and has a broken femur.
Mr Coker says he had to act quickly to get her out of the restaurant.
"I managed just to get her outside and get her into a sort of lift where I had my sort of hands around her, one hand around her knees and one hand around her shoulders and got her off the street to a taxi and got to hospital as soon as we could," he said.
Australian actress Brooke Satchwell was caught up in the terrorist attack at the Taj hotel.
Satchwell says she still does not feel safe.
"We definitely won't be moving and ironically we only made it out of Bangkok an hour-and-a-half before it shut down," she said
"My nerves are a little frayed at the moment. I haven't slept for the last 24 hours."
Satchwell says one group of Australians escaped the Taj hotel by shredding some drapes, tying them together and sliding down the makeshift rope from the hotel's second floor.
"Real Robinson Crusoe," she said.
On standby
The Royal Darwin Hospital has been placed on standby following the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
Northern Territory Health Minister Chris Burns says the hospital's National Trauma Unit is awaiting possible evacuations into Darwin.
The trauma centre was used after the Bali bombings in 2002.
'Still holed up'
A militant holed up inside Mumbai's Oberoi Hotel told India TV on Thursday that seven attackers were holding hostages inside the luxury establisment.
"There are seven of us inside hotel Oberoi," the man identified as Sahadullah told India TV.
"We want all Mujahideens held in India released and only after that we will release the people."
"Release all the Mujahideens, and Muslims living in India should not be troubled," he said.
Police said earlier they had shot dead four gunmen and arrested nine suspects. They said 12 police were killed, including Hemant Karkare, the chief of the police anti-terrorist squad in Mumbai.
"The situation is still not under control and we are trying to flush out any more terrorists hiding inside the two hotels," said Vilasrao Deshmukh, Maharashtra state's chief minister.
Mr Deshmukh told a news conference the situation was not yet contained.
A witness said that hours after the assaults began the Taj Hotel was surrounded by police, with fresh firing heard and a floodlight scanning its exterior. A fire in the hotel was still not under control.

Aust ready to help in wake of Mumbai attacks: PMNovember 27, 2008 - 11:10PM Source: ABC Smoke rises from the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd says the Australian Government stands ready to provide whatever assistance is needed to India following the Mumbai terrorist attacks. One Australian has been killed, and two more have been injured in the attacks which have left at least 101 people dead and more than 300 injured. The ABC has confirmed that the Australian victim is Sydney businessman Brett Gilbert Taylor from Turramurra in Sydney's north shore, who was with a trade delegation. The Department of Foreign Affairs is still trying to confirm the safety of all other Australians in the area. Mr Rudd says while the Indian Government has not yet asked for any help from Australia, it was important to make the offer as early as possible. "My overwhelming concern was to make sure that that extension of an offer of assistance was made across the board, and early," he said. "Our friends in India have an enormous challenge on their hands. Any unfolding operation of this nature is massively complex." Hostage situation Fresh blasts have been heard from inside two hotels involved in the attacks, the Oberoi and Taj Mahal Palace hotels. Witnesses say Indian commandos have stormed the buildings in an effort to root out terrorists still holed up there. Some 200 people remained trapped in the Oberoi, a senior company official has said. "We still believe that approximately 200 people are trapped inside" the Trident/Oberoi in the south of the city, vice chairman of the Oberoi Group of hotels SS Mukherji told India's NDTV channel in an interview. Mr Mukherji said about 380 people were in the hotel at the time it was seized. A number of hostages have been freed from the Taj Hotel, but an unknown number of civilians are still inside. The police commissioner had been quoted earlier as saying the hostage crisis at the hotel was over, but explosions have since been heard inside. Indian troops are battling heavily armed gunmen to clear the hotel room by room. The troops say they have seen many dead bodies but have not found anyone being held hostage. Throughout the ordeal there has been sporadic fighting between the gunmen and Indian troops and the head of Mumbai's anti-terrorism squad is among the dead. Officials say they are yet to negotiate with the group which calls itself Deccan Mujahadeen. One of the gunmen has told local media they want an end to what they say is the persecution of Indian Muslims. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has condemned the attacks. In an address to the nation, Mr Singh also said that the people behind the attacks were based outside the country. The president of India's Congress Party, Sonia Gandhi, has condemned the attacks. "The ghastly terrorist attack in Mumbai is an act of cowardice and deserves the strongest condemnation," she said. "I urge the people of Mumbai to remain calm and firm in these testing times." - ABC/AFP/Reuters More Spin Spin Spin!

I have been into the whole Chip Tatum saga for a long time now. I wonder other than one hard to find unreliable report about him being dead and washed up on shore in Panama, do you have anything solid about his disappearance? The only thing I find is that Bo Gritz may have reported something to that fact and nothing else. Thanks for any information you may have. If you find it off-topic, please message me. Cheers! If it comes to it, I might just email Ted Gunderson myself and see if he would respond since the two videos focusing on Tatum where promoted or made by him.

'Boy' attackers shot Aussies in India November 27, 2008, 3:24 pm An Australian student has told how rampaging gunmen shot his girlfriend during a series of coordinated terrorist strikes in India's financial capital, Mumbai.
Townsville student David Coker, 23, and his Sydney partner Katie Anstee, 24, were eating at Mumbai's Cafe Leopold when the gunmen opened fire, shooting Ms Anstee through the leg.
The bullet broke her femur and exited through the front of her thigh.
Mr Coker, a law graduate and son of Federal Magistrate John Coker, suffered a bullet graze to his leg.
"We had literally just ordered and then it seemed like firecrackers - people were screaming," he told The Courier-Mail.
He said they tried to flee but he quickly realised Ms Anstee was not following him.
"I turned around and she was crawling out the door because she couldn't walk," he said.
"I grabbed her and got out of there as soon as possible. We got into a taxi. No one knew what was going on. We were I think the first people at the Bombay hospital, which is where we are now.
"A bullet has torn a graze in my jeans and taken a groove out of my thigh and I have a few shrapnel marks including one on my left calf muscle."
He said the attackers appeared to be very young.
"They looked just like boys. They are on a rampage - it's full-on."
The couple, who met at Australian National University in Canberra, were on their first day of an overseas trip to celebrate their graduation, and had only been in Mumbai for a few hours.
Ms Anstee's father Chris says David Coker's quick thinking probably saved Katie's life.
The Sydney woman's parents say they plan to fly to the Indian city on Friday to airlift her back to Australia as soon as possible after surgery on a bullet wound to her thigh.
"They put their bags down in the hotel in Mumbai and went out to the Leopold coffee shop, which is apparently listed in Lonely Planet as a cool place to hang out, and they were just sitting there and a whole lot of guys, four or five guys ... just opened fire with machine guns," Mr Anstee told AAP.
"Dave has been very quick-witted and level-headed ... grabbed Kate and picked her up."
Ms Anstee was in intensive care in a stable condition, he said.
"It basically sounds like, as unpleasant as it has been, that it will be fine, and they're going to be airlifted back as soon as she has been allowed to be moved out of the hospital," Mr Anstee said.
"She is actually undergoing surgery, exploratory surgery and stabilisation surgery."
Mr Anstee said he and his wife Candy, from Greenwich in Sydney's north, plan to take the first Qantas flight to India on Friday to be with their daughter.
He praised Mr Coker, who is from Townsville, saying if it wasn't for his quick thinking his daughter may have been killed in the attack.
"The two of them were going on their dream trip of a lifetime. They had just graduated ... they'd worked hard and saved and done all that stuff."
Candy Anstee said she was in a state of shock over what had happened.
"They were going for 11 weeks - to India, then Europe then the US where Katie was at uni for a year," she told Fairfax.
"They were so excited about this trip, saving up for ages. We're in a state of shock."
Ms Anstee had just completed a commerce law degree in Canberra and planned to move back to Sydney after a seven-week holiday, her father said.
Up to 100 people were killed and about 100 more wounded in co-ordinated attacks by gunmen on luxury hotels, restaurants and a train station in Mumbai, Indian media said.
Maharashtra Director General of Police A N Roy was quoted by the Press Trust of India as saying that about 100 people were dead.
The NDTV news channel put the death toll at 100, with 110 injured in the ongoing violence. The IBN Live channel said at least 87 people were dead.
Survivors said the attacks appeared to be aimed at Westerners, with the attackers demanding people reveal their nationalities.
An undetermined number of Western hostages are still being held.
A previously unknown group calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the attacks in emails to several media outlets, Indian media reported.
An Australian bride caught up in the terror blasts in Mumbai says the city is in chaos.
Chloe Papazahariakis told the Nine Network that Mumbai was in "total lockdown".
"I've just moved to this beautiful city to marry my husband in four days and I've got about 20 friends here for the wedding in the midst of all this chaos," Ms Papazahariakis said.
"We just can't believe it."
Ms Papazahariakis was speaking from the restaurant where her reception is to be held.
She said a nearby hospital had been bombed by terrorists and the death toll had reached 75.
"They are targeting every suburb in this city but the most tragic thing is that for the first time ever they are targeting big time foreigners and five star hotels," she said.
"There have been a lot of bombs in India and they normally target marketplaces and the poorer society but where we are at the Taj Mahal Hotel, an historical hotel, they have eight foreign hostages.
"They've got hand grenades and police are very worried they are suicide bombers.
"They are on a rampage - it's full-on and they are not stopping."
Meanwhile, father-of-the-bride Nick Papazahariakis had a lucky escape after he dined at the groom's family restaurant in central Mumbai instead of a popular tourist spot where explosions have been heard.
Speaking from the restaurant with nine other Australians about 300 metres from a hotel where hostages are being held, he said friends had suggested the alternative.
"We've been very busy organising things for the wedding and some of our friends... they said we might as well go to this other restaurant, Indian restaurant with some great food, instead of going to a popular tourist restaurant and that was the decision," he told Sky News.
He said the city is under siege and the diners are unable to move from the restaurant.
"We're very close to where everything is happening," he said.
"They killed somebody around 15 metres from where we are.
"We can't go anywhere because the roads are all closed, so we're waiting and listening to news...
"You don't know what to believe at the moment, who is on which side," he said.
Mr Papazahariakis' daughter's wedding is scheduled for December 3 and 22 Australians have been invited to the official ceremony.
Another Australian, who is just 100 metres from the Taj Mahal Hotel where terrorists have taken hostages, said the city of 19 million people had come to a standstill.
Bernard Carpenter told ABC Radio that he had been at a restaurant just moments before a gunfight broke out.
"I've been back there and there is blood everywhere," he said.
"Unknown people have taken over seven sites, including three luxury hotels and two hospitals which have many of the victims in there."
Mr Carpenter said the terrorists had also attacked the train station and the domestic airport.
"It seems as though that what is one of Asia's great and most powerful cities, has come almost to a standstill," he said.
Mr Carpenter said he was remaining indoors because he had heard the terrorists were targeting British and American nationals.
"I'm a tall white Westerner and these people are after people like me," he said.
The federal government is seeking to confirm the safety and welfare of Australians who may have been affected by the attacks.
"Australians should avoid travel to Mumbai at this time," the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in an advisory issued on Thursday.
"Australians in Mumbai should remain in a safe location and follow the advice of local authorities."
People worried about the safety of friends and relatives in Mumbai should contact the department on 1300 555 135.

India halts international cricket after Mumbai attacks November 27, 2008, 11:42 pm NEW DELHI (AFP) - India's cricket chiefs were Thursday forced to abandon England's one-day series and postpone the cash-rich Twenty20 Champions League following the deadly Mumbai attacks.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) accepted England's request to cancel the last two matches of the seven-game series, as talks began to save next month's two Test matches.
The games in Guwahati on Saturday and New Delhi on December 2 held only academic interest with India having already taken a 5-0 lead over Kevin Pietersen's men.
"England's request to cut short the one-day series in light of the disturbing events in Mumbai has been accepted," BCCI secretary N. Srinivasan said in a statement.
"The last two one-dayers have been called off as a result."
Srinivasan was holding talks with officials of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in the eastern city of Bhubaneswar over the fate of the Test series due to start in Ahmedabad on December 11.
The second Test was due to be played from December 19 in Mumbai, where at least 100 people were killed overnight in coordinated militant attacks.
Hugh Morris, the ECB's managing director of England cricket, said discussions were being held to see if the rest of the tour could take place even as the players were confined to their hotel in Bhubaneswar.
"The safety and security of the England team is of the utmost importance to the ECB," Morris said in a statement after expressing his and the team's sympathies with the victims of the attacks and their families.
"We have reviewed all our security arrangements in the light of these attacks and will be taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of the team.
"We are urgently seeking information from expert sources regarding last night's attacks and will continue to hold further discussions with our colleagues from the BCCI over the next 24 hours," he said.
Officials were considering shifting the Tests from Ahmedabad and Mumbai to other cities in a bid to save the series, BCCI sources told AFP.
England's High Performance squad, which is currently training in Bangalore, was awaiting guidance from the British government on the future of its own tour.
The squad, which includes former captain Michael Vaughan and current Test stars Monty Panesar and Andrew Strauss, was scheduled to reach Mumbai on December 3 to play a practice game.
The attacks also forced hosts India to postpone next month's inaugural Twenty20 Champions League indefinitely over security fears.
The six-million dollar event, featuring the top eight Twenty20 domestic teams from Australia, South Africa , India, England and Pakistan , was due to be held from December 3-10 in Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
"It was agreed that in the best interests of all concerned, the inaugural edition of the Champions League should be postponed," League chairman Lalit Modi said in a statement.
Modi did not say when the tournament would be played.
The teams taking part were Victoria and Western Australia (Australia), Dolphins and Titans ( South Africa ), Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals (India), Middlesex (England) and Sialkot Stallions ( Pakistan ).
The cancellation of England's tour comes as the Indian government is debating whether to send a cricket team to strife-torn Pakistan in January for a Test and one-day series.

This is nuts...
CNN Live... "Raging fires, armageddon"
MSNBC Live... "Gunshots, people waving for help, desperate situation, fires"
FOX News Live... "We are now going to cook the turkey and prepare the fixings."
Yeah, noticed that. I'm surprised too, that CNN's regulars haven't been called back in to cover this. I'm thinking this may be just what it is but CNN is trying to play it up as much as possible. Fox doesn't want to have people distracted from NFL games today. As for bringing down the Taj... If TPTB wanted it brought down, it would be down. Too many witnesses left alive for a 100% NWO false flag job. We'll know when the next NWO inside job is & the death toll won't be in the 100's. Just my personal opinion, people. Don't jump on me because I'm not convinced this was pulled off by the usual NWO suspects.

I don't get why CNN's not reporting on Nariman House though. The live feeds from IBN have been talking about it since last night: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Fierce_gunbattle_on_at_Nariman_House_Trident_Oberoi/articleshow/3764684.cmsIBN keeps talking about the final assault on Nariman House.

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=V6uuCozoE_0 - Australian woman says "10 times worse than 9/11 ------ Total war". All I can think of is that calm guy on 9/11 describing the collapse of the towers. Maybe a stretch but it seems so blown out of proportion. Yes it's a big deal but 100-200+ dead isn't a 9/11...

Yeah... sure looks that way, but notice how the western Governments all condemn these attacks & play the 9/11 card, India is a (friend)... right, then it's these Islamic terrorists, looks to me like the India branch of the NWO screwed it up big time Bollywood style as they do It's just too much like an India Bollywood style 9/11 of a sort if you look into it...don't you think? one must ask how did these little boys get AK riffles past the India military & police that patrol that area hard each day as I was informed that the India military & police so offten do 'Boy' attackers shot Aussies in India November 27, 2008, 3:24 pm
He said the attackers appeared to be very young. "They looked just like boys. They are on a rampage - it's full-on."he also said that he looked at the boy in the face & the boy didn't shot him as reported on live news in Australialike I said Bollywood movie India style, India branch NWO staged op indeed, what els could it be, think about it I have no doubts the proof is adding up IMPO

OK... if indeed this is an NWO false flag, then it will lead to a much larger response by the world as a whole. In all honesty, I don't see the average person outside of India really considering this big enough (or close enough) to be consideres a catalyzing event. Unless, however, this is just the beginning of a series of similar events which spreads to all mnajor world capitals. Let's face it, westerners don't care about dead people from that region of the world. Of the dead, 6 are apparently westerners. For it to be considered a huge events warrenting war on Pakistan, that number would have to be 600 (mostly white) people. Images of bleeding blonde children would be a nice touch for a non-western NWO false flag. That support is being expressed by world leaders is typical of any type of situation... man made or natural disaster.

This has FALSE FLAG written all over it. Indian PM: Mumbai attackers based outside country http://afterarmageddon7.blogspot.com/2008/11/indian-pm-mumbai-attackers-based.html11.27.2008 Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says the perpetrators of coordinated attacks on the financial capital Mumbai were likely based outside the country. Mr. Singh addressed the nation Thursday, a day after heavily armed men attacked 10 sites in the city, killing about 100 people and wounding about 300. Without specifying another nation, he said he will tell "neighbors" that the use of their territory for launching terrorist attacks will not be tolerated. As Mr. Singh was speaking, Indian security forces were moving through two luxury hotels - The Taj Mahal Palace and the Oberoi-Trident - in an attempt to free hostages and find remaining gunmen. Gunfire and explosions were heard from the hotels, and another fire broke out at the Taj after an earlier blaze caused serious damage to the historic building. Police were also trying to resolve a standoff at a building belonging to a Jewish group. Wednesday night, groups of assailants with machine guns and grenades attacked several locations popular with foreigners and business people, including hotels and train stations. Witnesses said gunmen were looking for U.S. and British citizens. Local media report a previously unknown militant group, called the Deccan Mujahideen, has claimed responsibility. The term Mujahideen is associated with Islamist extremists. Islamic militants have been blamed for past bombing attacks. Among those reported killed in the attacks were Mumbai's anti-terror chief, Hemant Karkare, and at least 11 policeman. Police say at least four gunmen have been killed and nine arrested, but it is not clear where these encounters occurred.
