I noticed something strange posted on http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/3560 about the episode. They will be pulling About Last Night off the site until December 6th.

You've only got about 24 hours left to watch "About Last Night..." before it leaves the site for the site due to "pre-existing legal obligations." It will be back on the site permanently December 6, but this is your last chance to see it before then.

How long does it take to make a South Park episode? Did they know the outcome of the election before hand? What's with the pre-existing legal obligations?

I just thought it was strange...

Pass the KY because the government won't provide it!

Did they know the outcome of the election before hand?

Weren't we all pretty sure we knew who would win?

What was the idea of the episode? That the two candidates are in cahoots and that it didnt matter who won because neither would bring change, both were working to steal the diamond.
They would have just made 2 versions of the episode, one for each of the candidates, it wouldnt be hard, as the majority of the ep was the two candidates working together, all those scenes would be the same regardless of who won.
From memory the crowds didnt hold up many signs, all that it would take was a different voice over 'they're just upset because mcCain lost'  could easily be change to obama etc

They say that with every episode.  It's only available for a few days after it airs then it's off for about a month so the other stations can play it.  Those are the legal issues...

seems like this episode could have easily been written with the 2 possible winners,,then the
"winners " version would be used to match the outcome of the actual election, irregardless of
the argument of the legitimacy of said election.
the storyline is prettymuch interchangeable between mccain/obama

its simple hedging of the bet, making sure your paid and reflecting current events to market the
product.

no doubt theres massive corrosion in the entertainment industry from many many destructive
sources.

Reinvestigate the Danish Cartoonist...

Was he anti New World Order?

Did he expose the elites in a similar fashion?

Is this now exposed as a bona fide method of the elite assassination plan?

Using Al-CIA-duh cover stories and psyops to get rid of truth tellers...

We need to take another look at:

Daniel Pearl

Nick Berg

All journalists, cartoonists, writers, etc. that have been targeted who dare go against the establishment and then the narrative says it is because of Al-CIA-duh!

US suspect in Mumbai siege, Danish plot to plead guilty
http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20100319/tap-attacks-india-us-pakistan-denmark-me-5bb9277.html
By Mira Oberman (AFP) – Mar 16, 2010

CHICAGO — The charismatic Chicago man accused of scouting out the deadly 2008 Mumbai siege and a plot to kill a Danish cartoonist plans to plead guilty to terrorism charges, his lawyer said Tuesday.

David Coleman Headley, 49, is accused of helping two different Pakistan-based terrorist groups and using a friend's immigration company as a cover for surveillance activities in India and Denmark.

The Washington-born son of a former Pakistani diplomat and American mother, Headley reportedly befriended Bollywood stars and even dated an actress during his lengthy surveillance trips to Mumbai.

Charging documents also indicated Headley was so eager to kill a Danish cartoonist who sparked outrage with cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed that he began working seriously on that plot two months before the deadly 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Headley, who has been cooperating with prosecutors since his October arrest, is set to appear in a Chicago federal court at 1830 GMT Thursday for a change of plea hearing, court documents showed.

It remained unclear whether Headley would plead guilty to all or just some of the 12 charges laid against him in Chicago, some of which carried possible death penalty.

Headley's attorney confirmed a plea deal was in the works but declined to say to which charges his client would admit.

"I am really reluctant to go into the specifics of what he's pleading to," defense attorney John Theis told AFP.

"I expect that there will be a plea agreement," he added. "And the details of that are what is being negotiated, so I can't comment on anything."

Prosecutors declined to comment on the deal.

Headley was initially arrested on terror charges related to a plot to attack Denmark's highest circulating daily, Jyllands-Posten, which triggered a furor in the Muslim world by publishing 12 cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in 2005.

Headley was later charged in the Mumbai attacks, as was his old friend from military school in Pakistan, Tahawwur Hussain Rana.

Rana, who owns the Chicago-based First World Immigration Services that Headley allegedly used as a cover, insists he is a pacifist who was "duped" by his friend. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Headley also initially pled not guilty to the charges but has long been expected to eventually reach a plea deal with prosecutors.

In an alleged plot that reads like a movie thriller, Headley is accused of spending two years casing out Mumbai, even taking boat tours around the city's harbor to scope out landing sites for the attackers, who killed 166 people, including six Americans.

Headley said he changed his name from Daood Gilani in 2006 so he could "present himself in India as an American who was neither Muslim nor Pakistani," charging documents said.

Indian media have reported that during his five lengthy trips to Mumbai Headley befriended Bollywood stars and developed a reputation as a fitness fanatic while staying in an expatriate enclave in south Mumbai near the US consulate.

Indian security analysts believe he could be the vital missing link in the bloody 60-hour siege that began on November 26, 2008.

Ever since the attacks, there has been much speculation but no answers about whether the 10 heavily-armed gunmen had specialist help to land undetected by sea and strike their targets with such precision.

India and Washington blamed the deadly rampage on Pakistan's banned militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The attacks stalled a fragile four-year peace process between the two nuclear-armed south Asian rivals.

Headley allegedly told investigators he had been working with LeT since 2002.

He began working with an Al-Qaeda-linked group in Pakistan called Harakat-ul-Jihad-Islami on the Danish plot after LeT became distracted with the final planning for the Mumbai attack, charging documents alleged.

Headley allegedly told prosecutors he pretended to be interested in buying ads in Jyllands-Posten so he could tour the newspaper's offices in Copenhagen and Arhus "in preparation for an attack," the documents said.

Prosecutors say Headley was arrested at Chicago's O'Hare airport as he was on his way to deliver 13 surveillance videos to Harakat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami in the Danish plot.

AFP

A Chicago man has pleaded guilty to using his Western appearance as a cover while scoping out sites for the deadly 2008 Mumbai siege and plotting to kill a Danish cartoonist.

The Washington-born son of a former Pakistani diplomat and American woman, David Coleman Headley reportedly befriended Bollywood stars and even dated an actress during his lengthy surveillance trips to India.

Headley, 49, began co-operating with investigators immediately after his October arrest and formally admitted to 12 terrorism charges after prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty or to allow Headley to be extradited to either India, Pakistan or Denmark to face related charges.

He will, however, be required to "truthfully testify in any foreign judicial proceedings held in the United States by way of deposition, video-conferencing or letters rogatory," prosecutors said.

"Today's guilty plea is a crucial step forward in our efforts to achieve justice for the more than 160 people who lost their lives in the Mumbai terrorist attacks," US Attorney-General Eric Holder said in a statement.

"David Headley is now providing us valuable intelligence about terrorist activities," Holder said.

"Working with our domestic and international partners, we will not rest until all those responsible for the Mumbai attacks and the terror plot in Denmark are held accountable."

In a plot that reads like a movie thriller, Headley spent two years casing out Mumbai, including taking boat tours around the city's harbour to scope out landing sites for the attackers who killed 166 people, including six Americans.

India and Washington blamed the deadly rampage on Pakistan's banned militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The attacks stalled a fragile four-year peace process between the two nuclear-armed south Asian rivals.

Headley joined LeT in 2002, attending terrorist training camps five times in the following three years and began plotting the bloody 60-hour Mumbai siege, which began on November 26, 2008, in late 2005.

He changed his name from Daood Gilani in 2006 so he could portray himself in India "as an American who was neither Muslim nor Pakistani" and used the immigration service of an old friend from military school as a cover for his lengthy trips, the plea agreement said.

He was so eager to kill a Danish cartoonist who sparked outrage with cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed that he began working seriously on that plot two months before the Mumbai attack.

Headley also had Bollywood and one of India's most sacred Hindu temples in his sights as he began plotting a second India attack during a March 2009 surveillance trip.

Prosecutors said the potential targets also included the National Defence College, Jewish Chabad Houses in "several cities" in India and Shiv Sena, a political party in India with roots in Hindu nationalism.

Indian media have reported that Headley developed a reputation as a fitness fanatic while staying in an expatriate enclave in south Mumbai near the US consulate during five lengthy surveillance trips.

He reportedly lived a more devout Muslim life in

Chicago with his wife and children.

Headley began working with an al-Qaeda-linked group in Pakistan called Harakat-ul-Jihad-Islami on the Danish plot after LeT became distracted with the final planning for the Mumbai attack, the plea agreement said.

His contact there, Ilyas Kashmiri, instructed that "this should be a suicide attack" and that "the attackers should behead captives and throw their heads out of the newspaper building in order to heighten the response from Danish authorities," the plea agreement said.

Headley was arrested at Chicago's O'Hare airport in October as he was on his way to deliver 13 surveillance videos he obtained after pretending to be interested in buying ads in Jyllands-Posten, Denmark's highest circulation daily.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is being held in for trial.

David Headley: Terrorist or CIA agent? May be both?
http://www.pakspectator.com/david-headley-terrorist-or-cia-agent-may-be-both/
By A Khokar • Dec 23rd, 2009

U.S. citizen David Headley, aka Daood Gilani, who was arrested in connection with last year’s Mumbai terrorist attacks, may have been a double agent for the CIA at the time of the incident, according to U.S. journalists.

More than 160 people were killed in the financial hub of Mumbai in three days of attacks by a group of 10 gunmen, beginning on November 26, 2008.

Headley had allegedly helped plan the attack by conducting reconnaissance missions in Mumbai.

More than two months after Pakistani-American jihadist David Headley was held in Chicago, India’s intelligence services are divided on whether they were told the whole truth about the so called Lashkar-e-Taiba clandestine agent’s operations orchestrated by CIA.

Many in the intelligence services even suspect that owing to the CIA involvement the United States is less than committed to letting the whole truth be known.

Public debate has focused on claims that Headley—who served as a Drug Enforcement Administration informant after being arrested with two kg of heroin in 1988—may have been planted by U.S. covert services inside Lashkar after his release in 2002.

“If this David Headley was working for the CIA all along, which is a very plausible conclusion,” says writer and journalist Webster Tarpley, “It means that the CIA implicated and was running and masterminding the Mumbai terror attack of 2008.”

David Headley of Chicago – aka Daood Gilani – was formally charged with involvement in planning last year’s terrorist attacks on 26/11/08 in Mumbai, India, says the US Justice Department.

Headley, who changed his name from Daood Gilani in 2006 and resides primarily in Chicago, was arrested on Oct. 3, 2009, by the Chicago FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) at O’Hare International Airport before boarding a flight to Philadelphia, intending to travel on to Pakistan.

Also, Tahawwur Hussain Rana – aka Tahawar Rana - a native of Pakistan and citizen of Canada who also resides in Chicago, was arrested on Oct. 18, 2009, at his home by federal agents. Rana is the owner of several businesses, including First World Immigration Services, which has offices in Chicago, New York and Toronto. He was charged with conspiracy to provide support to a foreign terrorism conspiracy that involved Headley and other individuals in Pakistan.

On Dec. 7, United States Attorney’s office unsealed additional charges, reading in parts:
“New federal charges filed today allege that a Chicago man, who was arrested in October for planning terrorist attacks against a Danish newspaper and two of its employees, also conducted extensive surveillance of targets in Mumbai for more than two years preceding the November 2008 terrorist attack on India’s largest city that killed approximately 170 people, including six Americans, and injured hundreds more. The defendant, David Coleman Headley, a U.S. citizen, earlier this decade allegedly attended terrorism training camps in Pakistan maintained by Lashkar e Tayyiba (Lashkar), and conspired with its members and others in planning and executing the attacks in both Denmark and India…..”

According to the charges, “He made five extended trips to Mumbai — in September 2006, February and September 2007, and April and July 2008 — each time taking pictures and making videotapes of various targets, including those attacked in November 2008…..”

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III, commented on the investigation saying: “This case illustrates the importance of continued global cooperation to combat terrorism around the world. The FBI continues to strengthen relationships and to foster collaboration with our international partners to best ensure our collective ability to identify and disrupt international terror networks.”

It is also reported that American-born terror suspect David Headley had not only actively played a role in conducting reconnaissance of targets in Mumbai but was also present in a control unit in Pakistan along with the masterminds of the attacks to carry out 10 Lqashkar e taiba terrorists to carry out strikes in the megapolis.

Sources privy to the investigations of the terror suspect’s trail in India said 48-year-old Headley was very much present in the room
-4 from where the 10 LeT terrorists were being guided to various locations during the 26/11 attacks.

The investigators re-visited the intercepts and found that there were specific instructions being given to terrorists about entry and exit including that they had taken more time before reaching their final targets which included Taj Mahal hotel, Oberoi and Trident towers and Nariman House.

India has asked for a voice sample of Headley from the FBI to match with a voice which was unidentified so far for the security agencies. This voice was giving information on exact surroundings of the targets attacked by Lashker-e-Taiba militants.  However, there was no firm response from the FBI on provididng the sameto Indian investigators, the sources said.   (Ed. note:  I wonder if this is because Headley is being said to be cooperating with the FBI?)

Other places that Headley was able to get into using his connections as an American?

“… (Headley) had used the service of many prominent individuals in the city to conduct a proper recce of the places which also included Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Israeli Embassy in Cuffe Parade and Israeli airlines offices located in the World trade centre.”

This is in addition to the actual Mumbai targets:  Nariman House, the  Taj Mahal hotel,  Leopold Cafe, Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus and the Oberoi-Trident hotels.

The affidavit also states that Chesser wrote to the radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki last year, and received two responses. Al-Awlaki is a U.S. citizen now living in ed hardy clothes Yemen who has recently been designated a terrorist by the U.S. government. Al-Awlaki is believed to have corresponded with several alleged terrorists, including Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the U.S. Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people in November at Fort Hood.ed hardy shoes

yeah he works for the CIA and now they have to kill him to stop him from exposing already declassified connections.

It takes them 1 week to make an episode. They start the day after the previous episode airs, and finishes the day of airing (which is why they typically take 6 months off). I wouldn't want their work schedule. haha That's why they often have episodes based on events that only happened a few days to airing.
