For some reason, when I save them the way it was described, it still only shows a still picture. I want to put one of these as my profile pic, but I want it animated.

Did you resize it? That'll doom you unless you know what you're doing and do it the right way with the right software. If not, maybe the Prison Planet Forum interface resizes it when you upload, having the same effect of killing the animation. |

You need to copy and paste the link of the picture into the "i have my own pic"-field. The link should look like this: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f305/Flatu/smellingfart.gifTo get the link of the gif you want just right click it and go to properties. |

NEw! you need to remove every 2nd frame so it doesnt look like slow motion. gifs have a limit for fps... i think its 10. |

actually gifs dont have frame limits they have time between each frame and it can be adjusted individually or all across them. and it's actually fast motion if you look at it.

well bigger is impractical for gifs. Especially for forums... i think its even too big to work properly as avatar in this one.
Well thats weird... I changed the avatar and now it wont animate anymore.
Edit: I see it needs a special format to work... 65x65 pixels... see thats why I made them so small.
