Adam Curtis's "The Trap" is definitely well worth watching. It was aired over in the UK but you may be able to get a Google or Youtube video of it in the US if you keep trying.

It has been posted several times to Google Video but they keep deleting it. Just keep searching and try the links until it's back online. Bear in mind that anything on the BBC was paid for by a compulsory tax on every UK citizen so, by rights and morals, ought to be the property of the British taxpayer. But it isn't. The BBC operates as a commercial entity employed as a propaganda network on behalf of the British Government. The BBC is the "BB" (Big Brother) of former BBC Propaganda Departement employee Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell).

Just found an interesting one which is surprising. We've all seen the armageddon movies with people wandering around looking like they were caught in a depression-era dustbowl--not very realistic.

This documentary shows a true armageddon-type situation that happened when India was partitioned--1 million people died, and the cruelty of man in that situation is beyond belief.

It's called "Partition -- The Day India Burned"

Hello, i know about your list page,. i went and made my page with different list from other web sites just in cause yours and mine went down. ..I also linked the audio version of the one nwo page you didn t mention but you can always check the site it self once you have the page, you can view the other documentaries that were not even listed in mine..

Be sure to check out Adam Curtis's Century of the Self series. The first two parts, Happiness Machines and Engineering Consent, cover the tremendous influence of Edward Bernays', the father of public relations/propaganda in America.

John Pilger's documentaries such as The New Rulers of the World and The War on Democracy are also highly recommended.

Adam Curtis tends to portray elites in a gentle, apologetic light, as if they did not realize the disastrous effect their cynical decisions and policies would have on society. Other than that, his documentaries are worth watching, as they do contain more than a few interesting historical details, as well as some unique insights into the events of the last century. One more thing about The Trap series. It is stated in the documentary that the free market failed during the 20th century. However, the market was never truly free. The elite never relinquished control.

But the Trap dude is a bit more educated on economics.

The main thing is that there is a plan to have people so sick corposascism that they will accept socialism.

These intelligent and insightful documentaries allow us to "beat their plans"

So if we can get people to wake up to thissituation before it gets too bad, we have time to do things right, if we wait we will accept anything.

A nation reviles treachery, perhaps now more than ever. But the chronicles of recent history have ignored the most shameful episode of World War Two. The Britisches Freikorps unit of the Waffen SS served alongside the Nazis on the Eastern Front. Its members wore the death’s head insignia and took German rank. They helped defend Berlin even as Hitler retreated to his bunker. But each and every member was recruited from British, Canadian, Australian and South African soldiers who volunteered to betray their country.

Recognising the potential propaganda value of the unit, the Nazis ordered 800 SS uniforms with Union Jack arm badges. Most Allied prisoners of war ignored or resisted recruitment tactics ranging from leaflet bombardment to bribery and torture. But some 200 Allied prisoners answered the Nazi call. Some were motivated by greed, or by sympathies with the fascist cause. Others were simply described by intelligence files of the time as of ‘weak character’, and found the opportunities offered by the Germans to drink and womanise too tempting.

The British Free Corps was itself betrayed by one of its number who joined only to feed MI5 with information. John Brown, the quartermaster of a camp at Genshagen. As Germany collapsed, Brown’s information allowed the Allies to round up the traitors who often posed as fleeing PoWs. They were prosecuted and sentenced at court martial and treason trials. The intelligence files were quietly closed and access to the devastating information within was restricted. There was no cover-up, rather a conspiracy of indifference. For the first time on British Television, the British SS soldiers speak of their treachery, and their part in a failed German propaganda coup.

Those Brits seem like a pretty ragtag bunch, they were sent to the Oder, of all the places on earth a person does not want to be it is on the West banks of the Oder river in early 1945. The artillery barrage, the largest and most intense in human history, one gun per 3 metres for a 50 mile front. Anyway, the barrage smashed their German unit and killed many or most of them and all the Brits fled.

Wow that's some war.

Stupid sods what the hell were they thinking? "Fight Bolshevism for germany and the safety of europe" the lie they were spun. Traitors one and all and all had their lives ruined as a result.

This is the first time I have heard of a british unit, there were Dutch, french, Danish, irish, estonian, Ukrainian, Hungarian SS units, yet this is the first time I have heard of a British unit - they kept that one quiet.
